We're here.

It's currently 5:52 and we're going to attempt

to drive into Philadelphia to get dinner.

So, let's do that.

So we just finished our first day.

It was exhausting.

We drove eight and half hours here to our hotel.

Then drove an hour to Philadelphia which was insane.

We only almost died about twice.

So, it's fine.

And then we ate dinner, walked around a little bit in ...

Britain House Square, I think.

And then we ate at an Italian place.

Bomb meatballs.

And then we walked around and then we decided to come

back and it was another hour back.

So we're both exhausted.

Gonna go to bed and eat some of the essentials.

It's day two.

We're spending the whole day in Philadelphia today.

We're currently on our way to the train station.

And hopefully we do that right,

and we get to Philadelphia on the train.

So yes.

Independence Hall, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and

the Rocky stairs and all that.

And we're gonna have Philly cheese steaks today.

So, it's very exciting.

- It looks like Cutler Hall at Ohio University.

- So we just went to the love statue.

And city hall.

That was amazing.

And now we're gonna go find some food at the market.

we were so exhausted.

So today we're in the parking garage currently.

We're getting ready to go to the train station.

Get on the train, go to Philly, and we'll probably

find a souvenir somewhere.

Get some lunch and then start our trek back to home.

Maybe stop at Hershey Park.

So, yes.

So we walked around Britain House Square a little bit more.

We got lunch at the Redding Terminal Market again.

The grilled cheese I had, amazing.

And we just went on an adventure

to get that rolled ice cream, it's called Sweet Charlies.

It was so delicious.

So now the plan is to venture back to City Hall,

get a souvenir, and then get back on the train,

get back to the car, and start heading home.

So we have officially left Philadelphia.

We're out of all the crazy traffic and on the turnpike.

We were planning on going to Hershey Park,

but I just looked it up and they're going to close

12 minutes before we're supposed to get there.

So, we're not doing that now.

Which is kinda sad, but whatever.

It's fine.

But yeah, now we have an eight and a half hour drive home.

So, I hope you enjoyed watching my vlog

of my spring break trip.

It was really fun.

Now for the next few days, I'm gonna go home,

get some rest, and catch up on some school work.

You get spills and stains and a lot more dirt on your sofa compared to

other pieces of furniture, that's why it is so important that you have a very

good maintenance routine.

Let's talk about spills first.

Sometimes, spot cleaning can cause a wet looking ring or fading.

Typically you blot, not rub! the spill as soon as possible.

You need to use an absorbent cloth to try and

blot the liquid up. And if it forms a stain, try to use a cleaning agent,

but make sure to spot test any cleaning on a small hidden area of the sofa first.

So now let's talk about the maintenance of your sofa!

If you take proper care of your furniture

you can keep it looking brand new and expand the lifespan of a piece as well

So, you can rotate the cushion and the pillows on your sofa

every week so that it fades evenly.

Flip over your cushions so both sides are used.

Also, avoid putting your sofa in direct sunlight. Too much Sun can damage

the upholstery fabric, and cause it to fade and even fray.

You can reposition your sofa so that it doesn't sit in the Sun for extended periods of time.

This is especially true for sofas done in delicate fabric. You should also know

that airborne pollutants like fumes from cooking or smoke can also harm your

sofas fabric. But it isn't always easy to avoid that from happening, so just try to

have good ventilation. This can also help with odor control, since a lot of

upholstered furniture can easily absorb odors.

CNN 10 - March 23, 2018 | New Setbacks for the Driverless Car Industry | CNN Student News - Duration: 10:01.

I`m Carl Azuz and I spy some awesome! It`s Friday. We`re happy to have you watching as

CNN 10 wraps up another week

of news.

Today`s down the middle coverage starts with a look new tariffs which are like taxes that

the U.S. is placing on certain imports. We`ve talked about

the Trump administration`s previous tariffs on steel, aluminum, solar panels and washing

machines. The new ones that U.S. President Donald Trump

is putting in place are on about $50 billion worth of imported goods from China.

It`s a sort of punishment on China for what the U.S.

says are unfair trade practices that never should have been allowed by previous American

leaders.

President Trump says he thinks of China as a friend, but that the trade deficit that

the U.S. has with China, the fact that America imports far

more goods from China than it exports to China is unacceptable.

It is the largest deficit of any country in the history of our world. It`s out of control.

Some economists are afraid this could start a trade war, when countries increase restrictions

on another`s products and prices rise. And

the U.S. stock market dropped yesterday significantly, partially because some investors were concerned

that would happen. The Trump administration

says the new tariffs would only have a small effect on Americans but an expert on international

trade says Americans will end up having to pay more

for every day items, and a Chinese government official says a trade war does no good to

anyone, that there is no winner.

The tariffs won`t take effect immediately. It will probably be more than a month before

they`re in place.

Next story today, the Toyota Motor Company says it`s temporarily stopping its test of

self driving cars. The Boston Department of Transportation has

asked autonomous car companies to pause testing there and the Uber transportation company

says it`s stopped self-driving cars throughout the

U.S. and Canada.

This all follows an incident that happened on Sunday in Tempe, Arizona. That night, a

self-driving Uber SUV hit and killed a pedestrian. The

victim was walking her bicycle across a road when she was struck by an autonomous Volvo.

Police say the pedestrian was not using a crosswalk and that there`s also no indication

that the self driving vehicle slow down beforehand. It was

travelling at about 40 miles per hour.

Uber says it`s fully cooperating with the police investigation and that the company`s

hearts go out to the victim`s family.

This isn`t the first crash of a self-driving car, but it is believed to be the first time

someone was killed by a fully autonomous vehicle. The SUV

did have a test-driver inside, a person there as a safeguard, but the car was in self-driving

signs that the test driver was impaired in any way after the collusion.

The state of Arizona doesn`t get a lot of rain. It`s a popular place for self-driving

car tests. Arizona`s governor updated an executive order

earlier this month before the crash that allows self-driving cars to use state roads without

a test driver.

As their name suggests, Antarctica`s Dry Valleys have extremely low humidity and almost no

snow or ice to cover them.

An international campaign has been launched to create a massive sanctuary, a protective

area in the oceans around Antarctica. But that

would make fishing there illegal. And that`s part of the reason why efforts like this have

failed in years past.

According to the environmental group Greenpeace, the international fishing industry has been

using these waters to catch krill. These animals are

like tiny shrimp. They`re an important food source for the animals around Antarctica.

The krill are also important to people as they can be used in

oils, supplements and pet food.

We don`t know yet whether the international community will agree to establish a new sanctuary

but we did get a close-up view of Antarctica.

It`s an ethereal world that we wake up to our first morning in the Antarctic. That sort

of harsh yet

captivating mystical beauty, with penguins swimming and jumping in the waters, right

around our ship, the Arctic Sunrise.

It`s so beautiful and quiet, you almost don`t even want to speak above a whisper. And there

is two whales right there. This is

absolutely unbelievable.

And as if the morning couldn`t get more striking, we are in the first week of a month-long leg

of a Greenpeace expedition that started

in January, a campaign to build the case for the creation of the world`s largest ocean

sanctuary in the Antarctic, which is a vital carbon sink.

And that`s what we`ve come to learn more about, the Antarctic`s potential to act as a buffer

to climate change. We started off in Punta Arenas in

Chile before hitting the Drake Passage, notorious for its huge swells and rough waters.

It`s day four and we`re crossing through the Drake Passage. And we`re lucky because by

the Drake Passage`s standards, these are

actually really calm waters.

For many of the Greenpeace team on board and us, this is a first.

Yes. I think those are seals.

Before we head to shore, all equipment and clothing needs to be carefully cleaned.

It`s quite interesting because, when you look at it from the outside in, it feels like it`s

this very harsh and robust environment. And

yet it`s incredibly sensitive.

It`s really sensitive, especially for the non-native species.

And we are off, heading toward Yankee Harbor.

Oh, it`s so weird to be on land again.

Look at the seals!

This tiny island, like the rest of the massive land mass in the Antarctic, is designated

for scientific exploration and protected under

the Antarctic Treaty.

But that treaty does not extend to the Antarctic`s waters, hence Greenpeace`s mission. Even this

region`s most humorous of animals have

their role in nature`s equilibrium.

What does that mean?

I don`t know what that means.

Marine biologist and Greenpeace campaigner, Thilo Maack (ph), has been looking at the

intricate links between these waters, its

wildlife and the fundamental role they play in Earth`s carbon cycle.

If you look over there, they are trying to jump up on the ice. That is hilarious.

Yes, they are really cute, that`s true. Yes, it`s -- the Antarctic is a cooling chamber

that mitigates the effects of climate change. And what happens here is having an effect

on the climate of the planet.

The ocean currents are driven by the cold waters of the Antarctic.

And the wildlife is central to driving carbon-rich biomass to the depths of the dense, cold ocean

waters, where it is then

stored for millennia if it`s left undisturbed.

There are still many unknowns and the more scientists uncover, the more questions arise.

But there is no doubt about the harmony here, one whose

preservation is potentially linked to our very existence.

was unhappy to be here at first, but that`s nothing compared

to how unhappy she was when the ride launched. Her reaction which is nothing short of sheer

terror is why this video was shared all over social

Predicting how people would react to a slingshot in the dark, to Megan, maybe this seemed more

like an un-amusement park ride. But after getting

roped in to something that likely stretched her concept of fun, at least she wasn`t held

in suspense. Thankfully afterward, she was able to bounce

back.

Police Struggle To Find Possible Motives For Austin Bombings

Authorities have found frustratingly few leads to uncover why Mark Anthony Conditt, 23, was compelled to plant seven homemade bombs around the Austin area that killed two people in recent weeks.  The FBI and police wasted no time going through Conditt's home and interviewing his roommates and relatives, following a confrontation with police early Wednesday that left Conditt dead in his car.

But what evidence they have come up with hasn't yet seemed to point to a motive.  Austin Police Chief Brian Manley said Wednesday that authorities had discovered a 25-minute cellphone recording containing a confession.

But his description of its contents didn't provide any clues.

"He does not at all mention anything about terrorism, nor does he mention anything about hate," Manley said.

"This is an outcry by a very challenged young man." Authorities tend to shy away from linking acts of mass violence perpetrated by white non-Muslim men to terrorism because the U.S. has no federal law criminalizing acts of domestic terrorism.

"Call it what it is.

If you have an incident that takes place, and the person uses a firearm, a car, a knife ― if that crime of force or violence is done to forward a social or political agenda, then that person fits the elements of domestic terrorism," urged Thomas O'Connor, head of the FBI Agents Association, in an interview with HuffPost.

Conditt's family was reportedly blindsided by his actions as well.  "We had no idea of the darkness that Mark must have been in.

Our family is a normal family in every way," an aunt, Shanee, told CNN in a statement.

She last saw her nephew over Christmas, she said, which she described as "wonderful." "We played cards.

We laughed, we went to shows together," she said.

His grandmother, Mary Conditt, echoed the shock, characterizing him in an interview with Fox 31 as "a great kid" who was "smart, loving, kind." "I have no idea who this person is," she said.

"He's from a family that is so tight, that works so hard to raise their children correctly.

This is a handout photo from the school.  Neighbors said they saw no red flags either, besides remembering him as quiet and slightly standoffish.

"It just makes no sense whatsoever, he was a nice kid," neighbor Jeff Reeb, 75, told HuffPost Wednesday.

"He was quiet, sure, and young.

But he was nice, normal as I could tell." Compounding the challenge of understanding Conditt was his apparently limited social circle, partly explained by fact that he was unemployed, not enrolled in school and had been previously homeschooled.

His two roommates were detained for questioning on Wednesday, and one was later released. Jennifer Withers' 26-year-old son had been roommates with Conditt for the past three months, she told KXAN.

While she had never met Conditt during her visits to the property, she didn't suspect him of anything.

"Nothing seemed out of the ordinary," she said.

"We didn't suspect anything.

He didn't suspect anything." Jeremiah Jensen was a friend of Conditt's, he told KERA, but hadn't seen him or spoken to him in several years.

He described Conditt as shy and "pugnacious in nature" but capable of softening over time.

Jensen, who was also homeschooled, explained that the experience can contribute to loneliness and a difficulty in associating with others ― though he didn't attribute those qualities to Conditt directly.  "He was a deep thinker, very smart guy.

I just think a lot of people didn't understand him," Jensen said.

"I think that maybe he was lonely when he died.

I think that he might have isolated himself."    .
