Supreme Court Just Backed Trump…Big Changes For Illegal Immigrants Coming

America is in a constant battle with the topic of immigration.

Some citizens want open borders, and others want a stronger border to protect from illegal

entry into America.

Those who wish to open borders want it to be that anyone can go anywhere.

Those who want stronger protection at the border want people to follow the laws and

also help prevent drug smuggling, terrorists, and anyone else who wishes to inflict harm

on others from entering the country.

It's a constant debate that's been going on for years.

Former President Barack Obama had deported millions of people, and President Trump might

do the same.

This week's ruling by the Supreme court favors Trump's policies and ideas towards

immigration, laws, and deportation.

The Supreme Court has backed President Donald Trump in a controversial ruling that makes

interesting changes for illegal immigrants who are detained and awaiting deportation.

Specifically speaking, the immigrants who are detained and waiting to be deported are

now allowed to be held indefinitely.

They are also not entitled to a bail hearing.

This means any illegal immigrants who were detained might be detained for anywhere from

months to years and not have any possibility to challenge their situation.

On one hand, that seems very unfair to detain people for months or years when they can be

quickly deported.

However, on the contrary, if the person detained has broken several American laws or committed

a horrible crime like murder, then it should be acceptable to detain them for the amount

of time it would take for them to serve a prison sentence for the crime.

It is sometimes unknown if the illegal immigrant's home country will hold them accountable for

their crimes, which means someone who broke a major law in America could be quickly detained

without serving time for the crime.

Western Journal reported more on the ruling: "Justice Samuel Alito delivered the opinion

for the court, joined by Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Anthony Kennedy.

Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch joined most of Alito's opinion, though they

also wrote to say they do not believe the court had jurisdiction to hear the case.

In a rare move, Justice Stephen Breyer read part of his dissent in the courtroom during

Tuesday's proceedings.

The justices only read their dissents from the bench when they mean to emphasize their

disagreement with the majority.

Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor joined his opinion.

Justice Elena Kagan was recused because she briefly participated in the case while serving

in former President Barack Obama's administration.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found that individuals held in immigration jails

pending deportation may have a hearing every six months to review the legitimacy of their

detention.

The 9th Circuit based its decision on a legal rule called the canon of constitutional avoidance.

The rule says that where a federal law has multiple interpretations, courts must rely

on the interpretation that avoids constitutional problems.

Alito explained that this approach was mistaken, since the words of the statute clearly do

not provide bail hearings for detained immigrants.

"That is not how the canon of constitutional avoidance works," Alito wrote.

"Spotting a constitutional issue does not give a court the authority to rewrite a statute

as it pleases."

The high court declined to say whether the Constitution requires bond hearings for aliens

in detention.

They asked the 9th Circuit to resolve that issue, and may review their determination

at some future date.

The American Civil Liberties Union represents the immigrants who brought the action.

They say detainees are eligible for bail under the due process clause of the Fifth Amendment."

It's predicted that the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) will challenge this ruling in

hopes to gain more chances for immigrants to challenge their detainment and confinement.

The more significant problem remains, which is convincing people to stop breaking the

laws at the border and getting more people to enter America the legal way.

America is a land of laws, and we live most civil when people adhere to the same set of

rules.

Many Americans were outraged when an illegal immigrant, Jose Inez Garcia Zarate, killed

Kate Steinle and was acquitted of homicide.

That sparked an all-out rampage against illegal immigrants, many of whom don't any other

laws.

But again, breaking into the country is a law that should be followed.

America welcomes immigrants and only asks that people follow the laws

of

the country.

Court to decide how to proceed with hearing for ex-president Lee Myung-bak - Duration: 2:34.

Let's start with sticky legal situation former-president Lee Myung-bak finds himself in.

A court hearing set for today was called off on Wednesday.

The hearing was set to decide whether to issue an arrest warrant for the ex-South Korean

leader over a dozen corruption charges.

Lee's staff told the prosecution that neither Lee nor his lawyers will be going,... but

they told the court otherwise, saying his lawyers will attend.

Let's turn to our Park Hee-jun, standing by at the Seoul Central District Court...

Hee-jun, it's a confusing situation,... just walk us through what's happening...

Mark.

Lee Myung-bak made it clear on Wednesday that he won't attend the hearing that was originally

set for this morning,... saying he already explained himself during last week's questioning

at the prosecution.

But this hearing would have basically been his last chance to defend himself prior to

his potential arrest.

There could be various reasons why he decided to give up this opportunity.

It could be because he is preparing for what's to come later-- the actual trial.

Prosecutors previously revealed that the former president was surprised by the evidence they

showed him during last week's interrogation.

And if prosecutors question him on more details Lee is unprepared for,... he could put himself

at a disadvantage when comes to the trial,... which is a bigger deal than whether he's arrested

or not.

He could also be protesting his stance that this entire investigation is political revenge

by the liberal Moon Jae-in administration.

By refusing to appear he could be showing that he's not going to bend to what he thinks

is a witchhunt.

So,... we are reading between the lines, but they seem like reasonable explanations.

Perhaps it's a combination of the two.

Then how will things proceed today without the former president?

Well first of all, there's no defendant.

Under normal circumstances,... deciding on whether to issue an arrest warrant requires

further questioning in the courtroom.

Instead, there are various options being considered.

One is calling in the ex-president through an arrest warrant for further questioning.

The court could also set another date for a hearing with just his lawyers.

Or instead,... the court could just proceed today without a hearing,... and instead review

the documents submitted by the two sides.

In this case, an arrest warrant for the man who was president of South Korea between 2008

and 2013 could be issued as early as tonight.

That's all I have for now, but I'll be back during our next newscast at noon.

Mark.

Best Meal Prep Bag For Weight Loss: 6 Pack Bag Review - Duration: 5:12.

Hey if you wanna get better on meal prep and make sure that you were staying on track with

your fitness goals I want you to tune in to this video because I wanna show you my favorite,

best investment that I have ever made as far as making sure that I stay on track with my

nutrition goals and stay healthy pretty much all week long besides the weekend of course

because I love my 80-20 rule balanced key.

So, anyways my name is Jenny Jaucian or JennyJFitness and I am an online personal trainer, Group

Fitness Instructor and Nutrition Coach which helps over a hundred of clients get in shape

and love the bodies that there in whether through online training, one on one, live

sessions or my online challenges and in this video, I want to talk to you about the number

one best investment that I ever made that has made me so successful with meal prepping

every single week.

I hear my clients over and over again telling me that they just don't have time to meal

prep or it's just not easy or convenient to pack their meals before they had to work

but the reality is if you really wanna stay on track with your goals and eat in accordance

to your weight loss goals or maintenance or even gaining weight, whatever you are looking

to do?

Meal Prep is the key to your success.

No matter how many hours of working out you do the results rely or the result lies in

the kitchen.

So what I wanna share with you is my number 1 tool that helps me stay on track and that

is my 6 pack meal prep bag.

I do want to mention that I'm not an ambassador for this brand, I am not making any commissions

all the way; I wish I did on this but I honestly just wanna share this with you because it

saved my life and had made things so much easier for me to stay on track.

So my boyfriend actually got this for me.

He just got this at like a local nutrition store.

You can get this on Amazon or their actual website.

And they have different sizes depending on your needs.

Now I have this 3 pack.

The 3 meal-6pack bag and I'm just gonna show you what it looks like so that you can

kind of envision that it's something that you would want to invest in.

So, there's a pocket right in front and when you open it, it has 3 containers so one,

two ,three.

And you actually, I don't have them with me coz they are in the dishwasher but you

actually get little bp or a container so they give you everything that you need you get

an ice pack, one right in the front and put one right at the back.

And then you could also open it up here and you can put extra snacks maybe like some cracker

or hardboiled egg or whatever you need can also put it in the front container or on the

top container, excuse me.

And then what's awesome is that there are two pockets on the sides that open up really

really big and you can put 2 shakes or cups or water bottle.

So water bottle here, water bottle here and there's this like mash landing on the side

so you can put your utensils, napkins, extra foods, stuff like that.

So what I love about this meal prep bag is because it contains all of my food that I

need for an entire day so I just pack this the morning before I go to work and it stays

cool for 8 hours.

So even if you don't have a fridge or you're going to an event or your just out for the

entire day, this will keep your food cold and it really last the entire day long.

And what I also love about it too is that it basically portion controls for you.

So of you have problems with portion control or eating, like the container is like this

big so you could only fit so much.

And it kinda works out perfectly because you get, you can put like one cup of veggies,

one serving of protein and one serving of healthy carbs and it basically fits in that

container and your full, satisfied or at least , you know 2 to 3 hours, um depending on the

frequency of your meal.

Having 3 meals that are ready for you to go is super super helpful.

So I just wanted to share that with you , um because it helps me so much as far as my meal

prep and I use it every single day And when I don't use it?

Like I literally started spending tons of money going to whole foods and then I packed

that brown container like Ye' High and then I eat double or triple servings.

So it just helps me to pour control my food naturally and in keeps me on track and it

keeps me accountable with my ultimate nutrition fitness goals.

So if you have any questions, please let me know.

I will probably link it to the bag at the bottom of this video so you should've check

it out and I will talk to you later!

Audio Engineer - Part 3 - My budget and planning for the future - Duration: 7:30.

My name is Kelly Kramarik.

I'm 25 years old.

I'm an audio engineer,

and I'm set to make about $40,000 this year.

My relationship with money,

I say I didn't really have one until college.

My parents paid for my rent in college

up until my junior year

when I kinda like failed all of my classes,

and they cut me off cold, like hard.

So I had to pay for my rent.

If I wanted to continue college,

I had to pay for that.

So I took a semester off,

and I just bar tended like crazy,

didn't spend any money.

I figured out how to get the loans that I needed,

set up to start school again.

Because I just felt,

without being in school I just felt weird.

I knew I needed to finish my degree.

And so I worked really hard

and independently to fix my life in that way,

and I started appreciating money a lot more.

I'll say when I graduated college,

that was another big change,

when I started having to pay my loans back.

That's when I realized how much money

I actually took out in college,

and I didn't realize it at all

until I had to start paying it back.

So that's when I started becoming very cheap,

and I love coupons, I love any kinda deal that I can get.

In a city like this it's cool because we have

happy hour all the time.

So like I don't go out to eat unless it is

a discounted price.

I don't drink something unless it's a discounted price.

I literally look through every catalog

or the weekly shopping list for like the different stores

and I go to different stores based on the sales.

So I started like penny pinching I guess,

and so I'm still kind of like that,

although every engineer likes to spend money on gear.

And so I have an issue spending money on gear.

But being freelance, it's a little harder,

because I like right now,

last month I didn't, I worked one time the entire month.

And then this month,

I am having like an insane month,

probably the best since I started doing this freelance,

with a ton of gigs.

And I don't even know how next month.

I have a couple of gigs lined up for next month,

but I'm not sure if I'll get more or if I won't.

And so planning for you know making a bunch of money

two months away and not making money

the month that you're in is kinda hard,

but I also have a joint bank account with my boyfriend

who is a bartender and he has a steady income.

And we have savings.

So I can also dip into that if I need to

if I don't have an income for that month.

So I came from a small town in upstate New York

where you can get a huge house for $60,000.

When I was in college,

I lived in an apartment that my rent was $300 a month.

Then I moved out to Denver and our first one bedroom

apartment was 700 square feet and it was 1136

plus everything.

And after one year, they raised it by $150.

So we moved and got a roommate,

and our place now is more affordable.

Between three of us it's $1,600.

So I love living here.

Denver is like the coolest place on the face of the earth,

but no one come here.

Just stop coming here. (laughing)

I want it to not be as expensive.

I kinda justify how expensive it is

because there's so many things to do

that don't cost money.

You can go up into the mountains for a week,

for a weekend, and you have all of your gear

and you don't spend any money because you're just

hanging out in the woods.

You can go hiking.

The most expensive part about it is paying your $5

to the forest system for your parking fee.

I would never live anywhere else.

I don't want to live anywhere else.

I wanna make everything work here,

and that's my goal.

So my personal monthly income is $4,560.

With my boyfriend's added into that,

we make about $7,560 a month.

After, or the taxes that get taken out every month

are about $1,868.

Which means our take home income every month

is $5,692.

Our rent every month is $1,200

plus our gas and electric which is about $30 a month.

We only have internet because of like Hulu, Neflix,

Amazon, which we actually use other people's accounts for

so we don't actually pay for that.

So we just pay for internet which is $50 a month.

My boyfriend is on his parent's plan still,

and I share a plan with my sister,

and my share of that is $67 a month.

And then we have a car.

So our car payment is a little under 500,

but we pay 500 every month just to

you know have a regular amount that comes out.

We pay about $100 in gas a month,

and that kinda fluctuates depending on

how often we go to the mountains.

And then $100 in insurance,

which is pretty good.

His dad was in the Army

so we get a really good insurance rate.

My student loan, I only pay $25 while I'm in school

on one of my private loans.

Everything else is deferred.

And then food, groceries, about $200 a month.

Recurring expenses is about $45 a month

for our gym memberships.

And then entertainment is about $200 every month,

going out and meeting friends for happy hour

or going to see a movie or something like that.

Leftover funds is about $3,174.

And we have regular monthly savings of

about $500 goes into a regular savings account every month

and another $500 goes into an emergency fund,

and that's just different things that come out

every single week about $250 every week

comes out of our account

and we don't even think about it.

Since I'm an audio engineer,

as a freelancer,

I don't have a company that's gonna

ask me to put money away for my future.

So I have to do that myself.

So I plan on starting a Roth IRA

just to start putting money away for retirement,

and that'll be another monthly expense

that I will work into my budget.

As an audio engineer,

to be successful you have to be busy.

And so I don't have a ton of free time

if I'm doing what I should be doing to go out

and spend a bunch of money.

So I don't.

When I'm really busy, I'm really busy,

and when I have time, I sleep

or I play with my cats.

I'm a homebody also.

Out of all of my friends, I am the host.

So instead of going out and meeting up for drinks,

which we do occasionally,

but for the most part,

people come over to my house, I cook.

We get $3 wine bottles,

and that's how we live our life.

We just have fun playing games at home

rather than going out and spending money.

The time that I do have to hang out with people,

I'd rather to be able to you know hear them

when we're having a conversation than going

to a loud bar

and spending money.

NFL Draft Prospects I Like for the 49ers (2018) - Duration: 6:26.

Ayo! It's Bryan here.

Today, going to be talking about the San Francisco 49ers again, as always.

Got to talk about the 49ers. Isn't it always fun to talk about them?

So let's just get this video started. Alright, but before I get the video started.

Got to have my shirt right here. I'm going to let y'all see it.

There we go. 49er logo. Yay, yay, yay.

I don't really want to wear shirts too much because you can't really see it.

You only see my beautiful face right here and my hat and everything in the background.

So I really don't care what I usually wear for a t-shirt, but wanted to show to you guys

to show my fandom all the way because Niner for life.

Niner Nation, Niner Faithfulm whatever you guys want me to call you guys.

We're all 49ers fans I think that's the most important thing.

There we go, but anyways. Let's get this video started.

Now, going to be talking about the NFL draft.

It's coming really, really fast next month.

Should be exciting part for the 49ers and anything in general for the off season.

After the draft, it just gets really, really boring and I really have to find something to talk about during the offseason.

I don't want to be like last year where I didn't really talk about anything and

had to wait a couple weeks to talk about something.

I want to talk about the top three prospects that the 49ers should draft in some ways,

shape or form if they do fall within the 9th spot or if they trade up or if they trade down.

You know, all that cool stuff.

The first prospect I like to talk about is NC Stater Bradley Chubb.

I think this guy should be the 49ers top priority.

I think this guy is going to be a freaking stud in the NFL.

There's been some videos with him a Coach Belichick being together.

Doing some work outs, but Belichick kind of admitted that he wasn't going to be there

by the 31st pick?

I think that's when they draft overall for the New England Patriots.

So I mean, he was being up front there, but it was a nice little workout.

Nice thing to see him and Coach Belichick do something cool.

I think John Lynch is a huge fan of Bradley Chubb and I'm pretty sure everyone in Niner

Nation has heard of this guy.

Really good pass rusher, defensive end.

Has a really good fit for the 49ers and we do need a pass rusher.

This would be a really good priority.

I always stress that a defensive line, offensive line is the most important parts the position

beside the quarterback of course because if you can pressure the quarterback on the defensive

line, then you can shield other things like line backing corp and the defensive back corp.

I'm always of the mindset that you have to get a good pass rusher than a cornerback first,

but we do have a cornerback fortunately with Richard Sherman.

Hopefully, he's all right with the whole Achilles thing, but I think he will be alright.

I feel like if they can get Bradley Chubb, I think that will be a really, really good

pickup right there, but it's going to be really hard.

I think 8 picks, he's going to be gone by then.

So probably the best way if they want to get him is to trade up, but I don't know if the

49ers are willing to do that because that's really risky to do.

I recommended it personally, but it's up to the 49ers.

It's up to John Lynch, up to Kyle Shanahan what they want to do with the 9th pick overall,

but I would definitely recommend trying to get Bradley Chubb because I think this guy

is going to be a freaking stud in the NFL.

That's just me.

I'm pretty sure you all can agree with me as well and some statistics right here for Bradley Chubb.

Had 10 sacks I think for both his junior and senior season.

Had a really good season last year.

Really, really break out year and really put himself on the map.

Had a pretty good combine showing I would say.

He is the top defensive linemen for this year's draft and I would love for the 49ers to draft

him some way, shape or form.

Very unlikely unless they do a trade up, but if they can get him, I'll be so damn excited to get him. So yeah.

Bradley Chubb, NC State. Very good player.

Second player no particular order I would say Quenton Nelson from Notre Dame.

I think that's a very good fit for the 49ers. We do need an offensive lineman, interior.

We have Weston Richburg in the center.

We have Trent brown, Joe Staley on the tackles.

We do need some guards and I think Quenton Nelson would be freaking fantastic for the 49ers.

He will protect Jimmy Garoppolo if he is going to be down with the 9th pick overall.

Don't really have any statistics for you.

It's really hard to quantify offensive line statistics, but I think based on the film

and everything, he looks really good and he is the top offensive linemen for this year's

draft and I would love the 49ers to draft him to protect Jimmy Garoppolo because we

do need an offensive linemen just a little bit more and if we can address the offensive

guard position, then I think we are going to be set on the offensive side of the ball.

Love to see the 49ers draft Quenton Nelson.

If not, then I guess we're going to have to move on, but he is the top prospect as I said

for offensive linemen and I hope the 49ers some way, shape or form can get him.

It's going to be hard as well. I mean, the 9th pick? Ah man.

It's kind of iffy at best I would say.

Fortunately, a lot of teams do need quarterbacks like the Broncos, the Jets and I would say the New York Giants as well.

The Cleveland Browns, they all need quarterbacks.

It could work into the 49ers advantage to get either Quenton Nelson or Bradley Chubb,

but other than that, If the mock draft is looking the same, I think he's going to be

gone by then but hopefully they can get him.

Hopefully, he slips down to the 9th spot. That'd be really nice. So yeah. Pretty cool.

Love to get Quenton Nelson, but if he's not there, then unfortunately, we're going to have to move on.

So that leads me to my last point.

I'm going to pick Tremaine Edmunds from Virginia Tech.

I think this guy can be a really good player in the NFL wherever he goes.

A lot of the mock drafts do have him projected at 9th overall to the 49ers and there's

always the comparison between Roquan Smith and Tremaine Edmunds, but I think Edmunds is going to be the better player.

I think is a better fit for the 49ers.

I think he's more athletic, he's bigger.

I just think he can withstand the NFL.

Not doing a knock on Roquan Smith, but I think that Tremaine Edmunds is a perfect fit for the

49ers and we do need a linebacker just in case Reuben Foster get suspended or he can't stay out of trouble.

Hopefully, he can stay out of trouble because the 49ers aren't going to be releasing him,

which I guess is a good thing but I'm just really concerned about him.

Hopefully, he can get his act together and just stay clean for the rest of his career.

I know it's going to be hard, but hopefully, he can do that.

Right now, I'm just hoping that the 49ers can do something with this 9th overall pick.

Tremaine Edmunds would be a really, really good fit on the outside or maybe inside, should

anything happen to Reuben Foster, but I think Foster will get suspended a little bit.

So Edmunds can get some experience.

Maybe on the outside or inside.

I'm not sure what they're going to do.

I'm not sure with the whole Reuben Foster situation, but I think he'll be really good at that for the 49ers.

That's my top three prospects.

I'd love to go Bradley Chubb from NC State.

I'd love to go Quenton Nelson from Notre Dame and Tremaine Edmunds from Virginia Tech.

I think those are the top three prospects the 49ers should be going after some way, shape or form.

I don't know what they're going to be doing with the 9th pick, but if they're there, one of them is there,

please draft them.

I would love to see the 49ers draft them in some way, shape or form because we do need

a little bit more help and I think that would be a really good fit.

I'm going to leave it like that.

Please let me know what you guys think about the 49ers and the draft prospects this year.

Who should the 49ers draft?

If you want to do preferences, please put preferences down.

If you think just one player that we need in particular in the first round, please let me know.

I'd love to hear what you guys have to say and if you guys like this, please "Like,"

SUBSCRIBE, do whatever what with this and I'll be catching you guys up another time.

So I hope you guys have a nice day, nice weekend, nice whatever.

Tomorrow, I should be talking about Super Bowl 53 and if the 49ers are Super Bowl contenders.

So I'll see y'all then.

Bye guys. Love y'all.

Y'all have a good day!
