What is provocative selling? - The Sales Wiki | Michael Humblet - Duration: 1:44.

- What is provocative selling?

Provocative selling is rather new, four or five years ago,

there was a book written called The Challenger Sales Model

where they did a survey into over 10,000 sales people,

and they tried to figure out why do certain sales people

have more success than others?

What do they do?

And they've seen a pattern in there,

and the pattern is that the sales people

that are provocative, they call it provocative selling,

they actually are more successful.

And what does it mean?

It means that you will actually come into a client,

and you will challenge him.

You will actually talk about problems

they don't even realize they have.

Actually, you talk about problems

that will happen in the future, but you will tell them,

look you think you're doing well, however,

there is a big danger looming out there,

and you need to tackle it now.

You need to be ready for the future,

so you're gonna challenge their whole model.

Not all sales people are made to do this,

because it's not easy.

You can train yourself in doing it,

but it needs a certain element,

it needs a certain rigorous approach,

as a sales person, because you can very quickly

become too arrogant.

Nobody likes arrogance.

You can actually be bold, but you can never be arrogant.

So you can come in, and you need to challenge them,

in a really, really good way, and say look,

if you do that, you're gonna run into trouble.

Why haven't you thought about this, or that?

Those are two solutions that could actually help you.

It's a novel way and it's actually gonna make sure

that your sales cycle is gonna shorten.

So classically, with that type of selling,

you would be looking at six to nine months.

miniProject #28_2: Where is the hand? (regression neural network) - Duration: 2:49.

In previous video we created a neural network that tells us whether test image contains

hand or not well what next, if neural network classifies an image as containing hand we

would like to know location of that hand.

This is called object detection in computer vision literature.

so, let's train a neural network that does exactly same.

Let's get started.

If you want a neural network to output location of hand, we need to train it in such a fashion

i.e. unlike previous neural network where each image was labeled as either with hand

and without hand.

This time all images with hand will have four labels corresponding to diagonal coordinates

of bounding box around hand in that image.

This csv file contains label for each image.

Please note that coordinates are normalized with image dimension i.e. if upper X coordinate

is at 320th pixel in image with width of 640 pixels, we will label it as 0.5.

You might be wondering how I managed to label all 82 images, well I wrote a GUI in python

that helped me with this task.

Once image is loaded in GUI.

I left click at upper coordinate and right click at lower coordinate of probable bounding

box around the hand.

These coordinates are then written to a file following that I click next button to load

next image.

I repeated this procedure for all 82 train and 4 test images.

Once labels were ready , it was training time.

First we need to load all necessary libraries.

Which includes PIL for image manipulation, matplotlib for plotting, numpy for matrix

operation, os for operating system dependent functionality and keras for neural network.

In 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th cell we load images into numpy array and create a four dimensional

array from csv file to act as labels.

In cell number 6 we create our neural network.

Its architecture is identical to neural network used for classification except the output

layer dimension which is 4 and not 1.

Another difference comes from loss function used which is mean squared error.

In cell number 8 we start training of our neural network once trained I ran this model

on test set to get predictions for bounding box on overlaying coordinates of bounding

box they looked pretty accurate.

So, guys thats it for this miniProject if you liked this video please don't forget to

like, share and subscribe to my channel.

I will see you soon with another video till then train a neural network.

Aliyu Is Saved From The Streets | Senegal | Orphan's Promise - Duration: 2:18.

Aliyu is a young shoemaker with dreams of owning his own shop one day. He's come

a long way from where he started. Aliyu grew up begging in the street. He had to

study the Quran at a Muslim school, then he and the other boys were sent to beg

for money. If he didn't bring back a certain amount, his teachers beat him.

"I walked the streets without shoes in the rain and in the hot sun. I got sick all

the time. No one cared about me, but no matter what I always had to bring in the

money. I stole sometimes to get enough. That hurt me a lot."

Then Aliyu was brought to Perspective Senegal, a center supported by Orphan's

Promise. Boys like Aliyu come here to start a

new life. They have a comfortable place to sleep, good food to eat, and a chance

to go to school. And they're taught skills in carpentry, metalwork and

leather-craft. This is where Aliyu discovered he had a talent for making

shoes and sandals. Before Aliyu came here he was a street boy with no real

future, but today he's a skilled leather worker because of the classes that he's

taken here. And in fact, he's become a leader among the boys. Now he's teaching

others the kind of life skills that will give them hope and a future. Here at the

center, the boys are also taught about God and the Bible. My life has changed

since I came here. I used to have a very bad temper and I fought all the time, but

here I accepted Jesus and my attitude changed.

Because of the support of Orphan's Promise, Aliyu and the other boys don't

have to live in the streets anymore. They don't have to beg and they have people

who care about them. Now they have hopes and dreams. In the future I want to have

a big shoe making shop where I can teach street children the skills that I

learned here. I am grateful to all the people who helped me.

I pray that continue with this good work. Thank you!"

How Risky Is It to Take Antidepressants While Pregnant - Duration: 3:50.

How Risky Is It to Take Antidepressants While Pregnant

our answer as well as that of

the American Congress of obstetricians and

gynecologists egnancy

the Corby has always been that certain medications namely selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors and assess our eyes are

safe enough to consider taking during pregnancy

what's more it can be of greater risk to a baby to be born to a mother suffering from severe depression

because she may have trouble taking care of herself during pregnancy

and maybe more likely to abuse drugs and alcohol and to smoke perhaps as a way to combat stress

that a compelling New York Times piece of blinds to several pieces of recent research that

seem to raise more questions about the safety of SSI rise increasingly

connections are found between women who take them and babies who go on to be born premature

to be diagnosed with autism

to have a DH D and to have language difficulties

we asked a cog whether these studies should change the current thinking

and the answer at this point is the umber broad sweeping policy should not be made based on these kinds of findings says it called

spokesperson Aaron caught the ND professor and chair of the department of obstetrics and

gynecology at Oregon Health and science university

in where have we are concerned about these associations but the evidence is inadequate

nothing

yet points to a direct link between the medications can problems later on

Dr. Caught the walked me through watched would produce good an evidence

you'd take a really big group of women with major depression say 10, a law in randomized them into two groups

prior to pregnancy for half a weed wean them off their medication and have them try other things to help their depression

is referring to approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy

acts are size acupuncture

the other half of the women would stay on their medication

than in five years all of the women's children would be evaluated not only for their physical health

that their IQ scores and their behavior and development

you can imagine the problems in designing a study like this

he continued to erste you'd have to identify the women who are going to be pregnant which would be overwhelmingly expensive

than you'd have to get certain women to agree to go off their meds

could be difficult on the other hand

you have other women saying

I've read the research I'm stopping the meds there are big challenges to conducting the right well designed research

so instead we end up doing a lot of small studies that aren't able to find any cause and

effect that point to association's which aren't definitive

Dr. Collie believes that articles like the nit peace serve as as good reminder of how crucial it is for every woman to discuss the risks

and benefits of antidepressants with her Dr. or midwife ideally before becoming pregnant

it's worth asking whether there's a different medication you can be on

for other ways of treating your depression that don't involve meds at

at all of course it will always depend on your situation

and for some women it may not be possible to go off medication

the bottom line says Dr. Caught the this is a really good issue to talk about with your provider

it's incredibly important

and 42 am and the answer will be different

Dr Debunks: Is Micellar Water Really Worth The Hype? - Duration: 10:40.

Back in the 19th century the French woman in Paris were famed throughout the

globe for their amazing skin however its industrialization occurred the water

became not so great it led to impurities the skin suffered and it became dull out

of this mess came micellar water the greatest invention for skincare possibly

of all time and I'm here today ladies and gentlemen to talk to you about the

great invention that is micellar water

hello I hope you enjoyed my snazzy intro there welcome to my new series dr.

debunks in this series we're going to be talking about beauty myths and

misconceptions and exploring whether or not things are always what they seem if

you don't know my name is dr. Sarah Tonks I work in medical esthetics

and I'm a genuine bona fide ER doctor you'll find me on the medical register

should you wish to do so I also have a diploma in cosmetic science from the

Society of cosmetic scientists and one in dermatology as well so I guess you

could say that most of the time I know what I'm talking about

usually my cell of water is basically my cells which are this is a bit science II

so sorry it's something which has got a hydrophilic head and a hydrophobic tail

which kind of aggregate round in like a globule like this so they'll have all

their hydrophobic tails pointing inwards and all the hydrophilic heads around the

outside we will do a graphic about this because it's a little bit complicated

but they look basically look like these little spheres and these micelles they

act as surfactants surfactants are things which lower the surface tension

between two surfaces which means that you need to use less energy basically to

transfer something from one place to another let's not get too

technical with the micellar water but that's essentially what they do and it's

a mixture of oil in water now normally if you traditionally try to mix those

two things together they'll end up separating so you'll have your oil at

the top and then your water at the bottom but these micelles with the fancy

way that they have the bit that loves oil in the center and the bit that loves

water around the outside means that they can cohabit and exist peacefully

together for the benefit of your skincare first thing is micellar water

good or bad for your skin I think speaking very very generally

it's good for your skin and here's why so if we're using products which contain

a lot of alcohol or we're destroying our skin's barrier function by using a lot

of water and maybe soap for example if you're someone like me who used to have

acne or sometimes I get dermatitis so I do suffer with perioral dermatitis when

you use something like in my cellar water because you're not having these

negative impacts on the barrier function I found that I've had a lot fewer

flare-ups so from that point of view I think definitely good from a practical

point of view with my seller water you have to put it onto a cotton pad so it

is a bit of a pain if you're traveling and you know maybe you're one of these

people who likes to just use wipes and go because with this you'll need to take

separate pads with you I have tried it with tissue it doesn't seem to work as

well all the tissue kind of gets filled up and bunched up and it kind of just

destroys the whole sheet so it really does have to be a cotton wool pad do you

have to wash your face after you've used micellar water well I think the jury is

definitely still out on this one I think it depends on how sensitive you are to

the surfactants inside the micellar water so if you're somebody who gets

very irritated skin extremely easily you may

we still need to rinse off the micellar water once you've applied it on the

cotton pad but let me tell you this it's really really cool to use so you just

get yourself a cotton pad you whack that micellar water on and even if you've got

makeup on it we'll take that right off it's amazing so maybe you're traveling

you're going to a festival or something there isn't enough water around for you

to actually wash properly this could be the solution for you

makeup wise if you've got a lot of heavy eye makeup on or you're wearing

waterproof makeup it's probably not going to come off with micellar water so

you'll probably still have to use a separate makeup remover for those two

places but everything else foundation just comes straight off can you use

micellar water as a toner great question Sarah let me answer that for you so I

would say depends what you like to have in your toner so I like to have an acid

toner I've just started using the pixie glow tonic which I am loving right now

so I wouldn't want to replace my toner with a micellar water I see it more of

something that helps you take your makeup off or something that you use

when you don't have access to water or maybe you're not wearing makeup at all

and you just want to very click quickly clean your face before you then put

makeup on you can also use them to touch up small areas of makeup so you can just

put a little bit on a cotton bud if you've got a tiny bit of eye makeup

that's out of place and you just want to correct that so it's really really good

for that but because it doesn't contain the acids that I like to see in a toner

I would have to say no unless you've got a good reason not to be using acids so

say you've got eczema or psoriasis or they just don't agree with your skin in

which case the answer may be yes but I'm only / combination so you have to do

much right for you which micellar water do I like to use I

know that's what you're all thinking well via derma that Old Faithful

with the pink cap this one is probably the one which is

the most widely used it's the most talked about online a lot of makeup

artists talk about this as well because it's easy for them to change their

clients makeup between sheets don't be confused between this one and

the Garnier version which also has a pink top which has got very very

different ingredients and I haven't actually tried the Garnier version

myself yet but I am told that it's very irritating so I would definitely go with

the Bioderma next up this one I'm trying at the moment it's a venn now as you've

probably seen my French is not great so oh my seller

that's French of all micellar water this one is good if you have got an oily skin

type as it has something in which regulates sebum production

I found myself out of the - I preferred the classic Bioderma

I do think this one might be a little bit too stripping for most people which

then can lead to overproduction of sebum another good one would be the simple

micellar water if you guys have heard of that one we've got a premium products

here now which is the RHA micelle a solution from Jacques Seine now if you

didn't know - you're saying are a company who also produced dermal fillers

so they make a hyaluronic acid dermal filler called tear cell and one of their

ranges is called RHA in an injectable dermal filler and this micellar solution

actually contains the same hyaluronic acid as is in their filler so it's the

same but obviously it's not in a syringe and you can't inject it into your face

it's just kind of free in the liquid and the idea behind that is that it stops it

from dehydrating and drying your skin out too much I do use this in the clinic

sometimes as a prep so if somebody comes in with quite a lot of makeup on

obviously we have to take that off first for in

faction control reasons so I'll take it off with Johnson baby white first and

then use a bit of this afterwards to really make sure that the skins very

clean and then I'll do the surgical prep afterwards so I do really like this I

think it's a really good product but it is quite pricey I think if you're

looking for something that's kind of sitting in the middle of the road I

definitely go with the Bioderma so to sum up is micellar water worth the

height I've got to tell you yes it definitely is worth the hype from my

perspective it's definitely changed how I clean my skin at the end of the day

how I take my makeup off you do have to make sure that you get the right one for

you I think if you're just entering the

market now when you're just looking for an all-rounder I'd probably go with a

Bioderma sorry if that's a bit boring but you know it's a good price point it

does where it says on the tin and it's my pick of the day okay so that's it for

today I hope you enjoyed the episode join me again next week well I'm going

to be talking about sheet masks are they worth the hype if you've tried any

micellar water or if there's something that you're dying to get off your chest

about it let me know in the comment section below and don't forget to Like

comment and subscribe... have a great day guys back in 19th century France there

was an invention micellar water you see the French women they didn't like the

water in that area it was very dry made their skin

MERCEDES-AMG GT R IS ONE POWERFUL F1 SAFETY CAR - Duration: 2:33.

Here's a cool dream gig—driving the official Mercedes-AMG GT R FIA Safety Car for the current

2018 Formula 1 season.

The sporty silver and black coupe will make its debut at the World Championship at the

Grand Prix in Melbourne, Australia this week. You'll see this car on all 20 race weekends, says

Mercedes.

The monstrous GT R packs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine that produces 585 hp and 516 lb-ft

of torque.

We've tested a GT R running from 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds, and Mercedes reports a top

speed of 198 mph.

So it ought to be able to hold its own while it is out on track duty.Mercedes claims it's

"the most powerful and fastest Official FIA F1 Safety Car of all time."

"I am very much looking forward to my new company car.

It is an absolute highlight in terms of driving dynamics and is one level higher up still

than the AMG GT S of recent years," said driver Bernd Mayländer, in a statement.

"Of course, ideally the safety car should be deployed as rarely as possible—but when

we have to safely bunch up the Formula 1 field and lead it around the track, we will be superbly

equipped with the AMG GT R."For the big race, the Mercedes-AMG GT R remains pretty

much stock and gets a light bar on the roof and a carbon-fiber air scoop to lead the Formula

1 cars around the track safely.

In addition to the GT R safety car, a Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Estate is the official FIA F1 medical

car.The C 63 S Estate is crewed by racing driver Alan van der Merwe, and his co-driver

is FIA F1 deputy medical delegate Dr. Ian Roberts.

The two will help provide emergency care during the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

Tune in on March 22 to catch the cars at the Grand Prix in Melbourne.

Manchester United transfer target Antoine Griezmann is staying put, says Diego Costa - Duration: 2:31.

Manchester United transfer target Antoine Griezmann is staying put, says Diego Costa

Diego Costa has insisted he believes Antoine Griezmann will remain at Atletico Madrid, because the Frenchman spent so much time begging him to come back to Spain.

Griezmann is the subject of intense transfer speculation and is continually linked with a switch to Manchester United and Barcelona.

But, Costa has dismissed the reports surrounding the future of his team-mate as he cannot envision Griezmann leaving Atletico after he put so much time into luring him back to the club.

'He knows that we want him, that he is a very important player.

He is still with us and he has not told me he is going yet,' said Costa.

'I would be happy for him to stay, everyone has to look for the best for themselves but, in my opinion, the best for him is to stay.'.

Costa added: 'He called me every day to tell me to return to Atletico and now he's not going to leave me.

That cannot be, he is going to stay.' United and Barcelona are both prepared to spend big to secure Griezmann, who is currently on international duty with France.

Griezmann rejected a move to United last summer in favour of signing a lucrative contract extension with Atletico.

The forward spoke out about his future this week and insisted he does not want to travel to Russia for this summer's World Cup with the transfer saga still hanging over his head.

'I want to travel to Russia without this concern,' he told L'Equipe.

'It's not about knowing where I'll play, but about having the peace of mind if I'm still in one place or another.
