GOOGLE Pixel 3 is one of the most eagerly anticipated Android flagships of the year,

but now it appears the release date of the hardware may have been leaked.

Google Pixel 3 is expected to bring a host of improvements when it launches later this

year.

In addition to addressing a blue tint issue on the Pixel 2 XL's OLED screen, the device

is expected to feature an improved camera, turbocharged internals and come pre-installed

with Android P.

But it appears fans looking to upgrade to the new Google flagship may not have to wait

long at all.

A new leak suggests Google is going to stick to tradition by launching the Pixel 3 and

Pixel 3 XL on October 4.

It is unknown whether the post was created by Google itself, an external marketer or

someone unrelated entirely."

The posting declares the Pixel 3 is "launching" on October 4, but it does not clarify whether

this is simply an announcement by Google itself or when Android lovers will be able to get

their hands on the prized flagship.

Google announced its original Pixel and the Pixel 2 on October 4, so the company choosing

to announce its third generation device on the same date would line up with tradition.

Notable tipster Evan Blass previously declared Google is set to have a "hardware event" towards

the end of the year showcasing a slew of new products, including the Pixel 3 and Pixel

3 XL.

The Google Pixel 3 also appears set to pack enough power to challenge a host of other

flagships on the market.

Last week the Google Pixel 3 XL appeared on Geekbench's database, showcasing the potential

internals of the device.

Originally spotted by WinFuture, the post declares the Pixel 3 XL will come packing

a Snapdragon 845 processor and 4GB of RAM.

Android fans will not have to wait long to see if the latest Google Pixel 3 leak is true

with October only being a couple months away.

This Bombshell About Russia Is Robert Mueller's Worst Nightmare - Duration: 11:37.

This Bombshell About Russia Is Robert Mueller's

Worst Nightmare

Robert Mueller thought he had Donald Trump cornered.

He indicted two former Trump-campaign aides, and his allies in the anti-Trump media painted

a picture of Russia working hand-in-glove with the Trump campaign to rig the election.

But one bombshell has proven to be Robert Mueller's worst nightmare.

One of the accepted media "facts" about the 2016 election is that Russia weighed in

on the election in order to defeat Hillary Clinton.

Obama's intelligence community determined it was payback for Clinton criticizing Russia's

2011 elections.

The evidence for this was a meager $100,000 ad buy on Facebook that ran from 2015 to 2017.

Critics of the fake news that the media spread pointed out that Moscow's goal was to sow

discord among the electorate, and not elect Donald Trump.

Afterall, Trump's platform of deregulating American energy and building up the military

ran counter to the Kremlin's goals.

The critics proved to be correct when tech giants Google, Facebook, and Twitter testified

before a Senate committee.

They revealed that after the election, the Russian ads immediately began to attack the

legitimacy of Trump's victory in an effort to undermine him.

Politico reports:

"Top lawyers from Facebook and Twitter said Tuesday that Russian-linked posts and advertisements

placed on the social networks after Election Day sought to sow doubt about President Donald

Trump's victory.

Facebook general counsel Colin Stretch told a Senate Judiciary panel that content generated

by a Russian troll farm known as the Internet Research Agency after Nov. 8 centered on "fomenting

discord about the validity of his [Trump's] election."

That's a change from Russia's pre-election activity, which was largely centered on trying

to denigrate Hillary Clinton, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence said

in a January report.

"During the election, they were trying to create discord between Americans, most of

it directed against Clinton.

After the election you saw Russian-tied groups and organizations trying to undermine President

Trump's legitimacy.

Is that what you saw on Facebook?"

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) asked at the hearing.

Stretch and his Twitter counterpart, Sean Edgett, called that an "accurate" statement.

The disclosure opened up a new wrinkle in the continuing investigation into Russian

interference in the 2016 election, which has increasingly focused on the role of the biggest

internet companies.

Tuesday's hearing marks the first time Facebook, Google and Twitter have testified publicly

about what they've learned about Kremlin meddling on their platforms in the presidential

campaign.

The companies face additional lawmaker scrutiny Wednesday with back-to-back hearings by the

Senate and House Intelligence committees.

James Lewis, an international cyber policy expert at the Center for Strategic and International

Studies, said the revelation about Russian anti-Trump activity on social media post-election

fits with typical Kremlin information warfare efforts.

"Their goal is to create confusion and dissent.

The target is the U.S. and NATO, not any particular candidate.

They just want chaos," Lewis said.

"It went from being a grudge match against Clinton to what they thought was a priceless

opportunity to inflict harm."

This startling revelation continues to unravel the collusion narrative.

If Russia was going to attack either candidate who won, then colluding with one candidate

makes no sense.

The collusion narrative was always built on a shaky foundation.

Now it has

completely collapsed.

Sara Webb - Why ignoring complaints is bad for business - Duration: 1:32.

I think there's a perception in Cornwall and perhaps in the small business world

that when people complain they are often just being difficult,

they are often just trying to get money back so there's this idea that when

someone complains it's an annoyance. Actually, what often happens is that

if you think about it in this context - if you think of your Facebook friends, if

you've got a friend on there who you don't see very often, and they annoy you,

you will delete them or block their posts. If your closest friends that you

see every week annoys you, you will tell them to their face, you'll actually

say you know this is what you've done to hurt me I'm upset, and I need to tell you

why. Well your complainers are in fact your best friends. They're the ones that

are telling you what's going wrong with whatever it is you're

delivering and they're not the dangerous ones, the dangerous ones are the

ones that are deleting you from Facebook. So, they are the ones that didn't have

great service, didn't get a great product, can't be bothered to complain, they're

just not going to come back. So, your complaints can be used to

constantly improve your business service really.

Is Starbucks Replacing Plastic Straws with Paper Straws Wrapped in Plastic? - Duration: 3:08.

Is Starbucks Replacing Plastic Straws with Paper Straws Wrapped in Plastic?

A meme criticizing Starbucks' use of paper straws wrapped in plastic packaging employed

an image of an unrelated product.

CLAIM Starbucks is replacing single-use plastic

straws with paper straws wrapped in single-use plastic packaging.

RATING FALSE

ORIGIN Phasing out the distribution of single-use

plastic straws for environmental reasons has become a focus of government and business

policy in recent years, and in July 2018 the giant Starbucks coffee chain announced that

they intended to eliminate plastic straws from their stores by 2020.

Shortly after Starbucks issued that announcement, an image was derisively circulated via social

media that purportedly documented the company's (seemingly nonsensical) approach to the issue

— switching to paper straws individually enclosed in single-use plastic wrappers:

The items shown in this picture can indeed be found at some Starbucks locations, but

not as an offered alternative to plastic straws.

In fact, Starbucks is not relying on paper straws to completely replace plastic straws

at their stores.

Rather, the company will be expanding their deployment of strawless lids in order to eliminate

plastic straw use: Starbucks is announcing today that it will

phase out plastic straws from its more than 28,000 stores worldwide by 2020, a decision

that will eliminate more than 1 billion straws a year.

In their place?

The lid that (Emily) Alexander developed.

The lid that is replacing the straws is also made of plastic, but its polypropylene content

can be widely recycled.

"By nature, the straw is not recyclable and the lid is, so we feel this decision is

more sustainable and more socially responsible," said Chris Milne, director of packaging sourcing

for Starbucks.

"Starbucks is finally drawing a line in the sand and creating a mold for other large

brands to follow.

We are raising the water line for what's acceptable and inspiring our peers to follow

suit."

Fortune magazine also noted that while most drinks at Starbucks will soon be served with

strawless lids, the company will also use straws made of alternative materials (such

as paper or compostable plastic) to be made available upon customer request.

The straws shown in the viral social media image are not Starbucks' solution to the

plastic straw issue; rather, they are "flavored iced coffee" straws (sometimes sold as "Candy

Straws") which are available for purchase at some Starbucks locations:

Starbucks also offers edible "cookie straws" often sold with their Frappuccino drinks.

(And no, Starbucks is not planning on replacing all of their plastic straws with cookie straws

either.)

To sum up: Starbucks did announce a plan to eliminate plastic straws by 2020.

This goal will primarily be accomplished by expanding the use of strawless lids, not by

switching to paper straws individually wrapped in plastic.
