Waching daily Aug 4 2018

While you're sitting, Can you show us some exercises

that you should use for some your elderly patients for arthritis? Yeah, so

really really depends it's nothing too complicated if somebody has

some knee arthritis something simple like a

step up on a low box so imagine stepping up stairs which is the

first part of a stairs just stepping up and back down

super super simple even sitting down and standing back up

and remember I'm dealing with somebody who's already come from Diana so they've

already surpassed the point where they no longer feel pain I or they do

have a little bit of pain oh my arthritis is acting up and we're

talking specifically about osteoarthritis alright we're not talking

about like rheumatoid arthritis which is something a little bit different but

when you have that it's what it is it's okay you're a little

uncomfortable let's move and we kind of just slowly start increasing that range

of motion until they feel like this is tolerable this is what I can deal with

and this is where I'm comfortable. -One thing I wanted to mention

about arthritis also is a lot of the times the reason why movement is so

important with arthritis is because movement is necessary for let's say the

knee joint let's say we're talking about the knee which is one of the biggest

culprits of arthritis that knee the way it gets nutrition is through movement

the cartilage in your knee does not get any blood supply so the way that it

actually gets nutrition into the knee is through movement because of the fusion

just being water coming in and out of the knee if you are in pain

and you just sit all day what pretty much happens is the knee never has a

chance to get any of that let's call it the gunk out because you've never moved

so just moving the knee just straightening it and bending it a couple

of times a day if that's all you can do start there but at least that way

there's water that's able to come in and out of the knee so that

knee can stay lubricated and it can get some nutrition that it desperately needs

at that point.

you

Simon Cowell pulls out all the stops for 'MOST EXPENSIVE' X Factor series yet - Duration: 3:17.

The X Factor 2018 is said to be the most expensive series to date as Simon Cowell hopes to regain the show's glory days

This year's series is rumoured to have cost £20 million in a bid to take on the famous BBC show Strictly Come Dancing

With the whole judges panel revamped, new additions Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field are estimated to have cost the production £10 million

While former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson is believed to be making £4 million from the show

On top of those payments, ITV is said to have had to pay off former judges Louis Walsh and Sharon Osborne, as both stars were on three-year contracts

While Walsh will join Ireland's Got Talent's panel, Sharon will visit the X Factor panel every now and then in Robbie's absence

A source told Mirror: "This is costing ITV a huge expense, it will be one of the most expensive shows on TV

"Robbie and Ayda initially wanted £12 million but ITV cut a hard bargain.  "ITV were so convinced that Robbie and Ayda would be a ratings hit they weren't bothered about pulling out the big bucks

Everyone, including Simon, thinks it's going to be a success.  "There has already been talk of recommissioning the show with the same judges for another year

Sundowns signing Lakay keeps butterflies in check for Kaizer Chiefs - Duration: 5:11.

Sundowns signing Lakay keeps butterflies in check for Kaizer Chiefs

Sundowns signing Lakay keeps butterflies in check for Kaizer Chiefs.

It is going to take some time for Lyle Lakay to get used to his new role as a left-back‚ but he is ready and willing to transform as a modern footballer‚ the new Mamelodi Sundowns signing has said.

A left winger by trade‚ Lakay arrived at Sundowns from Cape Town City in mid-July and coach Pitso Mosimane is going to use him on the left side of his defence‚ with the license to attack whenever they have the ball in the opposition's half.

Mosimane is expected to unleash Lakay in the first match of their Absa Premiership title defence against Kaizer Chiefs at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday and the 26-year old said he is adjusting to his new positional responsibility and environment at Chloorkop.

"There is still a lot of work to be done during the season where I must continue to learn‚ but I am adjusting to it quite well‚" he said as the Brazilians prepared to host their bitter rivals in the PSL's season opener.

"In modern football‚ left-backs attack more than they defend and I will have to do what is needed to be done for the benefit of the team.

I am excited to be here at Sundowns and if I get the opportunity to play on Saturday I will give it my best.

"Working with coach Pitso has been good so far.

He wants us to review our games so that we can spot our mistakes.

"He puts a lot of emphasis on it and I believe it will help me and the other guys in correcting our mistakes so that we can improve.

Sometimes it is important to self-correct‚ rather than always wait for the coaches to point out things for you." The match between Sundowns and Chiefs is one of the biggest occasions on the South African sporting calendar and the Cape Town-born player does not want to be consumed by the hype.

"When you play against Chiefs‚ there will always be the hype around the match but it is our first league match of the season and I am looking forward to it‚" he said.

"I just have to do what I have to do and try to block out the unnecessary pressures.

I have played against Chiefs in a number of big games for Bloemfontein Celtic and SuperSport United but this will be one of the biggest matches I have played in.

"I am happy to be back here at Sundowns [where Lakay had once been a triallist].

When I first heard that they were interested in my services‚ I did not think twice because this club has been successful over the past few years in South Africa and on the continent." Sundowns will miss Anthony Laffor and Andile Jali with hamstring injuries.

Sibusiso Vilakazi and Oupa Manyisa and will undergo late fitness tests.

PSL this weekend - Saturday: Mamelodi Sundowns v Kaizer Chiefs (Loftus Versfeld Stadium‚ 3pm) Bidvest Wits v Free State Stars (Bidvest Stadium‚ 6pm) Cape Town City v SuperSport United (Cape Town Stadium‚ 6pm) Black Leopards v Polokwane City (Peter Mokaba Stadium‚ 6pm) Orlando Pirates v Highlands Park (Orlando Stadium‚ 8.15pm) AmaZulu v Baroka FC (King Zwelithini Stadium‚ 8.15pm) Sunday: Maritzburg United v Lamontville Golden Arrows (Harry Gwala Stadium‚ 3pm) Bloemfontein Celtic v Chippa United (Dr Molemela Stadium‚ 3pm).
