Angela Brown here and we are on our next step of creating our HouseCleaning360.com
business fan page.
Now what we're going to do today is we're going to create a Gravatar.
A Gravatar is this box that you see right here.
It's a little snippet of information that has your picture and your name and some information
about you and your company.
When you create this, this is going to follow you all around the internet and it's going
to follow you all around HouseCleaning360.com So, it's really important to set it up because
when a customer leaves you a rating and review,
this verifies that this is, in fact, who you are.
And if you don't have this information and you don't have a picture here, which is
what we're going to add today.
Then this "G" will follow you around the internet and your picture will look like this right here.
So your customers will not know that it's you.
So we want to make very specific clear that we're feeling this information out because
it's another way of advertising your business and authenticating your account.
All right, so how do you do that?.
Well you go to Gravatar.com
When you get to this screen, you click on this blue button which is "create your own Gravatar."
Then it opens up and we add in our email account and then we're going to add in a user name
and this will be MyCleaningConnection
That will be my username.
We'll put two "Ns" in there, how about that?
And then I will choose a password and I will hit continue.
Now you want to make sure that you use the same email account that you used once you
set up your HouseCleaning360.com account because if you use a different account or a different
email account, it will not follow you around.
So you want to use the same email that you use to set up your HouseCleaning360.com account.
All right now I'm going to go over to my email and I have one Email here.
I'm going to click on that and this is from Gravatar.
Activate my account.
And so see?
This is the picture.
This is what that looks like.
So now I'm going to sign into Gravatar and now it recognizes me.
So, I'm going to click into sign in and see?
It recognizes me now.

Yay!
It worked.
Okay now it wants me to add some information because I have to pick an email to modify.
Well this is my email anyway so that's good.
I don't need to modify anything.
And it says I don't have any images so I'm going to click here and it's going to allow
me to upload.
I can pull from the internet from my website.
I can use past uploads or from a Webcam.
Now this one I want to upload new and I want to pull from the hard drive so I'm going to
choose the file.
I'm going to go to my desktop and the desktop, this is the HouseCleaning360.com account that
we created the other day.
I'm going to go to business fan page and in there I have my show art file and in the show
art file which are the files that we edited, I have a couple of pictures.
The one I'm going use is the round head shot and then I'm going to hit next.
Now you see that it's hooked me up here with the .png file that we created so I'm going
to hit next and there's my picture right there.
Now this is actually a different picture than the one I uploaded the other day.
When I went to record this, someone else was using my computer so I'm on a different computer.
So this is a different picture, actually, but it will still work for this example.
Now it will allow me to crop the image but because we already did that over in Picmonkey,
I'm going to just say "Okay" and I'm going to crop that image as is.
Okay, so that's what my Gravatar looks like right there.
Now it wants me to rate my Gravatar based on the type of information that I produce
on the internet.
Now at Savvy Cleaner, all of the information that we produce is family-friendly G-rated.
So, G-rated works for me and I'm going to set my rating at G.
That's a pretty safe bet for all markets.
Okay so this is what it shows me right here.
Angela@MyCleaningConnection.com and it's got my picture.
Now I can choose and pick a different picture if I want but I can only get one picture at a time.
So, I'm going to stay with this picture.
Okay, so, now I'm going to go create a profile.
Okay so I'm going to click on my profile and the next thing that I'm going to do is fill
out the personal information about me because this is going to connect me to all the different
elements of the social media and the HouseCleaning360 and other websites that will link me together
on the search engine so this is great for search engine optimization and I want to go
over here and fill in all of this different information.
And we're going to do that very briefly so pay close attention because I'm going to show
you a couple of tricks.
So, the first one I'm going to do is fill in my name.
I will be Angela Brown.
And my full name here will be Angela Brown.
Then my display name, it already pulled in MyCleaningConnection which is the username
I used when I opened this account.
Now if the name that you're going to use is not available, use any name.
That's fine.
And then when you get to the display name you can change it back to your original name
because your original name may already be used.
So now I will be Angela Brown again.
I will be in the United States.
Now here's what's important to know about this.
This is going to follow you all around the internet so we're going to save this information
and we're going to cut and paste.
So, what we're going to do is we're going to go down here to this bar down here in the
type to search and I'm on a PC.
I think it's a little bit different if you're on a Mac but you can just open up a notepad.
I'm going to type in notepad and one will pop up.
This is where I'm going to write the little description about what it is I do.
And I'm going to write it in third person as if Angela Brown is sitting there across the room
All right now that I've written this information,
which is a short bio, I'm going to save this on my hard drive inside that folder
called HouseCleaning360 and this one is going to go inside the text documents.
So, we're going to name this Angela bio and you'll use your own name obviously.
But the bio is something you're going to pull from again and again.
Now I'm going to copy this just by selecting and hitting control+C and then I'm going to
come down into this box and I'm going to do control+V and I'm going to paste it.
So that pastes all my information right there.
So I've already done a spell check on this.
I've already made sure that it all spells correctly.
Now I'm going to save my profile.
Now this little bit of information will follow me wherever I go.
Now websites.
What are the websites that I would like to add to this?
So, I don't have a WordPress.com website so I'm going to add my own website and this website
is going to be MyCleaningConnection ...
And the website will be MyCleaningConnection.
Save website.
Now this is going to follow me around with this profile so that is the website I just
added and I can keep adding websites if I want but this one works for now.
Now you will want to use your business website if you have a business website because like
I said this is where you start connecting all the dots.
All right what is your background?
Now you can change the background of this and this is the background image but we already
made it invisible.
So we're gonna leave that as is.
Now, what is your contact information?
Your contact information is the way people can get in touch with you.
Now I'm going to add my email and I'm going to say it's Angela@MyCleaningConnection.com
And this also is going to follow me all around the internet.
So, if you have a business email address, this is the email address you want to use.
All right now what are the verified services?
The verified services are different places where they can find you on the internet.
So, I'm going to go to Facebook and I'm going to add my Facebook handle.
And that just added that automatically.
But that is in fact my Facebook page so great.
That worked out really well.
Okay so these are the verified services and you can go down and fill all of these in with
your Vimeo, your word press, your Yahoo, your YouTube, all these different things you can
fill those in one at a time.
All right?
So once you have all that information filled out, you go back to view your profile and
here's what this is.
This will show you your face that you've already added.
It will show you that you're connected to Facebook.
It shows your email.
There's a little bit about you and you can always click on this to edit your profile
and it brings you back to this page.
So, we're going to go back to view profile which is this screen right here and this shows
you the website that we just linked to.
So, this is your Gravatar and this is super important because this is what we are going
to be seeing when we get to HouseCleaning360.com which is going to be one of the next upcoming steps.
So, once you've created your Gravatar and you've started liking yourself together on
the internet, then we're going to be ready for the next part which is just set up a
HouseCleaning360.com account.
