Waching daily Aug 3 2018

Hi guys, David and David here from payetteforward.com, and in this video we're going to explain what

True Tone Display is on your iPhone and we'll show you how to turn it off or on.

True Tone Display automatically balances the color temperature or how warm it is how cool

it is on your iPhone with the surrounding environment.

So for instance right now, we're in a studio that is filled with cold light, bright white

light.

So we actually have to turn off True Tone when we make our videos because if we didn't

all the colors on the iPhone will be too warm.

So we're going to show you the difference between that right

now. And a lot of times people will say now my screen is more yellow because they're outside and

there's the sun.

Don't be surprised if your screen looks more yellow when True Tone Display is turned on.

First, let's show you how to do it in the Settings app. Open the Settings app scroll

down to display and brightness and then turn on the switch next to True Tone.

So watch it.

Yep.

Exactly.

Watch my screen.

You probably will see a difference when I turn it on.

I can see the difference for sure.

Definitely we were wondering what was wrong with the videos making them and it was the

True Tone Display.

Yeah, but turn that back off. We'll also show you how to do it in Control Center.

I'm gonna go back to my Home screen here by swiping up iPhone open Control Center by swiping

down to the upper right-hand corner of the screen if you have an earlier iPhone, swipe

up from the bottom of the screen. And True Tone Display only works with the iPhone 8,

iPhone 8 Plus, and the X. Yeah the X. Press and hold the brightness

slider and then you'll see a little True Tone button here tap it to turn it on or off now

it's on. One more example of the difference

you'll see. My iPhone looks pretty normal right now true tone is off.

I swipe down press and hold to the brightness slider tap tap out of it.

Now it's warmer.

If you can't tell the difference,

this isn't going to be part of the video.

That is what True Tone Display is how to turn it off how to turn it on.

Thank you guys for watching this video. Give it a thumbs up if

you found it helpful.

What is Japanese Obon Festival? - Duration: 5:35.

Obon

Obon festival is a Japanese religious event

to worships the spirits of ancestors.

Etymology of "Obon" is Sanskrit "Ullambana".

The Obon is widely known as a Buddhist event,

but in reality

it merges with ancient Japanese ancestor worship.

During the Obon, various stalls line up on the grounds of the shrines and the temples.

These fairs are called En-nichi.

Bon Odori (or Bon Dance) was originally a dance as a memorial service for the dead.

In modern times, its religious significance is diminishing.

The Bon Odori is a dance as an entertainment now.

The Obon is generally held for 3 days from 13th to 15th August.

In Tokyo and some other areas, it is held in July.

Why are there difference?

In old Japan,

the people used a calendar based on the movement of the moon.

This is called the lunar calendar.

During the Meiji era (in about 1872), Japan adopted the Gregorian calendar widely used in the world.

The Gregorian calendar is based on the movement of the sun,

so there is a gap between the lunar calendar.

13th July, the first day of the Obon in the lunar calendar,

is between the mid August and early September in the Gregorian calendar.

People in Tokyo decided to hold the Obon from 13th July even on the new calendar,

with emphasis on dates rather than original period.

But July in the new calendar is the rainy season.

At that time, 80% of the population was agricultural workers,

and for them the rainy season was a very busy time.

So they decided to hold the Obon from 13th August, one month behind Tokyo.

This is the reason why the time of the Obon is different by region.

By the way, in only a few areas,

the Obon is held on different schedule every year based on the Lunar calendar.

In addition, there are areas where it is held for 4 days including 16th.

Well,

I will explain the custom of the Obon in the area where I live.

It's believed that the spirits of the ancestors will come back to the family home on first day of the Obon.

Let's make Mukae-bi. It's welcoming bonfire.

Hou-roku is the earthenware pan, also called Hou-raku.

And Ogara is the dried hemp stalk.

Set them like this,

and light a fire.

This is done in front of the house in evening.

Leave the door open so that the spirits of ancestor will enter the house.

Next, cross the bonfire three times towards the door.

With this, the bonfire becomes the guide for the spirits of ancestor.

Well, Japanese have Butsudan, Buddhist domestic altar.

There is necessary offerings at the time of Obon.

Ground cherries, a cucumber, and an eggplant.

Ground cherries are substitute of lantern, the guide for spirits.

A cucumber and an eggplant can not be offered as they are.

Give them legs with a wooden sticks.

These are a bull and a horse.

This eggplant bull is called Shouryoushi, and cucumber horse is Shouryouma.

Our ancestor come home riding the cucumber horse.

Because horses are very fast.

Depending on the region, people go get their ancestors at the grave.

There is no such custom in Tokyo.

However, we visit the grave for sweeping and praying during the Obon.

On the last day of Obon, the ancestors return to heaven.

Okuri-bi is farewell bonfire.

The way to do Okuri-bi is almost the same as Mukae-bi.

The only difference from Mukae-bi is that we cross the bonfire toward the outside.

The spirits of ancestors go up with smoke

and return to heaven riding the eggplant bull.

The bull's slow walk makes a time for saying goodbye.

Also, he can carry many offerings on his back.

Toro Nagashi is a kind of Okuri-bi.

The participants float many paper lanterns and offerings in a river.

Gozan no Okuribi also known as Daimonji-yaki is one of the most famouse Okuri-bi events.

It is held at 16th August in Kyoto every year.

The enormous bonfires shaped into kanji character are lit on five mountains surrounding the city.

This is the end of my explanation of Obon.

Thank you for listening.

Rush Limbaugh Revealed The Secret Trap Mueller Is Laying For President Trump - Duration: 12:19.

Rush Limbaugh Revealed The Secret Trap Mueller Is Laying For President Trump

Robert Mueller's goal is to take down President Trump.

But he isn't going about it in the way everyone thinks.

Rush Limbaugh exposed the secret trap the special counsel is laying for Trump.

Mueller was appointed to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election.

That led him to pursue the collusion angle.

It turned out to be a bust.

Pundits then speculated that Mueller's real goal was to build a case that Trump obstructed

justice when he fired FBI Director James Comey.

But Rush Limbaugh sees something else.

The king of conservative talk radio speculates that Mueller is actually trying to financially

ruin Trump.

Limbaugh reacted to reports that Mueller was subpoenaing records from the Trump organization

and believes this is an attempt to "nullify" the $900 million dollar loss Trump took on

his 1995 tax return – which was illegally leaked to the press during the campaign – and

force him to pay it back.

Breitbart reports:

"Limbaugh accused Mueller of seeking to "nullify" Trump's 1995 IRS claim of

approximately $900 million in operational losses in order to pursue a reclamation of

the money with added penalties and accrued interest:

And these requests, the subpoena for documents from the Trump Organization, I ask you again,

what has that to do with the campaign and with collusion and with the Russians?

They've already been looking into Trump business in Russia with the Miss, what is

it, USA, whatever his pageant is.

Do you all remember during the early days of the campaign there was news that Trump,

in a tax return something like 20 years ago, took a $900 million deduction that was granted

and survived an audit by the IRS?

Now, I forget the details.

It had to do with losses that he had incurred in that year in building things.

It was around 900 or $920 million deduction.

I'll never forget when it was reported because most people will never come close to ever

having that in a lifetime, and to have a guy personally write that much off?

Anyway, I think Mueller wants that $920 million back.

I think Mueller wants to prove that that was a faulty deduction.

I think that they want to go back, they want to get Trump's tax returns because they

want to nullify that $900 million deduction, and then they want to collect 20 years of

interest and penalties and wipe Trump out."

Limbaugh has long suggested that it isn't enough for Mueller and the swamp to take down

Trump.

Their goal is to send a message to any political outsider who wishes to challenge the status

quo—and that message is not only will they face investigations if they win, but they

will also be ruined financially.

Do you think this is Mueller's plan?

How do I know God's way is the best way? Q&A Ep. 8 - Duration: 4:46.

So if any, if all vegetables were cars

What vegetable would you drive and why?

What are you talking about Hallie, I think the heat is getting to you

Wait, what is that over there?

I think it's a map or something

Wait, maybe you have to turn it

Like that?

*Bickering*

Its probably some astronomical thing that you would put in the sun

Let me see

Look, I think, I think this is...

A TREASURE MAP

Guys, I think we should go that way

No it's not, it's that way it's the shortest

I don't think it's on the map and how do you know if it's even correct or not

Our sense of direction is so bad

You like, drove us to the other side of the forest

*More Bickering*

I'm just gonna go, bye

I'm going this way then

I'm going my own way

Here for the party?

Ya sure

What am I doing with this life?

Pam?

What, where did you come from?

Look, I'm sorry for... I'm kinda lost. Do you know where you're going?

Yeah, it's okay. I made some mistakes myself

Um, I think that is the correct way. Do you wanna come with me?

Sure

Alright, let's go

Wait, you know where Hallie is?

I have no clue

The treasure map represents the Bible and God speaks to us through it

Whenever we're looking for answers or directions we often overlook the Bible

because you know it seems like an old book but it's so much more than just an

old book you know it's filled with God's wisdom and truth and it points us

towards the way and the life that God intended us from the start of creation

in Psalm chapter one verse one to three says this blessed is the man who does

not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in

the seat of mockers but his delight is in the law of the Lord and on his law he

meditates day and night he is like a tree planted by the streams of water

which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither whatever he

does prospers when we meditate on his word and let

that feed into our lives God points towards what is best for us that isn't

to say though we'll be living without challenges however what it does mean is

that we'll be experiencing and living what God knows is best for us thanks for

How much money is enough? | Vicki Robin - Duration: 5:43.

We talk about the old roadmap for money, and the old roadmap was born really out of the

industrial revolution.

It was born out of the sense of the "wild west," of "anything is possible," of

manifest destiny, of American exceptionalism, whatever you want to say.

Or you can go back even further to capitalism itself.

But the roadmap is: "growth is good, more is better, whoever dies with the most toys

wins."

It's a materialist roadmap, and the part of the roadmap is not only that; it's an

empty world.

"Uh oh, there were people here before the white people came.

And, you know animals.

There was already a living mature society—" "No, no, no.

It was empty."

And then the other part of it is that one of the essential ingredients of it that still

people, even if intellectually they understand it they do not get it, is that in that roadmap

the economy can grow forever and the Earth is like just sort of a toy chest.

You just keep reaching in there and pulling out resources, reaching in and pulling out

resources.

So the economy can grow infinitely because the Earth is an infinite cornucopia of resources.

The fact of the matter is that the economy is a fabrication, our economy is a fabrication,

a set of rules inside a finite planet.

There's a way to measure.

There's a way to measure the human impact, the impact of human consumption on the Earth.

It's called the ecological footprint, and they can measure every little scintilla of,

you know, my watch and my eyeglass.

Everything I have, everything we sit in, everything we walk around on, they can measure that in

terms of the amount of the planet it took to develop that.

So we have measured the amount of planet we have and humans are consuming more than the

amount of planet we have every year (that can be regenerated) ever since 1986.

That, to me, that data about overshoot has been a central feature of my life.

When I learned that, it was just sort of one of those things that's obvious, like, "certainly

we want to change."

So the old roadmap this idea that the Earth is a set of infinite resources, and the economy

can harvest those resources every which way from Sunday in order to produce economic growth.

That's fundamental and then it trickles down to the human as: "More is better."

And part of that is as the economy grew, as industrialization permitted more products

to be produced with less human labor there was a sort of a peaking out of consumption

around the 1920s and it became a problem, like what are we going to do?

So there's several ways to expand markets.

One is you export and another is to educate your citizens to want more than they need.

And then you've got an infinite market called the endless willingness of people to buy into

the story of 'more is better' and 'keep buying stuff.'

So that is the old roadmap: Growth is good, more is better, game over.

Not talking about the context of our lives, the social context where fairness is sort

of like built into us.

Babies all come with that stamp on them, you know.

Fairness is important and so you cannot stretch fairness and believe that there's no breaking

point.

So injustice aside, environmental integrity aside, more is better, growth is good, party

on.

The new roadmap says that there is something called "enough" and "enough" is not

sort of like this oppressive ceiling that, you know, "Okay, I've got enough and I

can't have any more."

No, enough is this sort of vibrant vital place.

What we teach is an awareness about the flow of money and stuff in your life in light of

your true happiness and your sense of purpose and values.

And that your "enough point," having Enough, is having everything you want and need to

have a life you love and full self-expression with nothing in excess.

It's not minimalism, it's not less is more, because sometimes more is more.

But it's that sweet spot.

It's the Goldilocks point.

And so Enough, for me, is like one of the absolute fulcrums between the old roadmap

for money and the new roadmap for money.

And our surveys of people who follow this program confirm again and again that once

people start to pay attention to the flow of money and stuff in their lives in this

way, their consumption drops by about 20 to 25 percent naturally, because that's the

amount of unconsciousness that you have in your spending.

So when you become conscious that falls away.

Many people say they don't even know what they used to spend their money on.

They are just—"Oh, surprise, I'm spending less.

I don't know how that happened.

I just paid attention.

I just asked myself is this purchase of something making me happy?"
