Year 1: 2016. We took our research base and founded a startup.
By the end of 2017, with the help of our supporters from around the world, we had designed and
defined the product -an ideal platform for urban mobility.
It's been a long road getting here, from a scrappy chaotic startup to delivering our
first prototype. And it feels awesome to have cleared that first horizon. This has definitely
been an epic adventure. Our clarity of purpose has kept us together and our supporters out
there have helped us to keep on moving forward. But now we enter the next horizon, and continue
to mature as a company. The current phase is about focus and clarity. Taking in to what
we've learned along this journey and honing in to what we are great at, as we continue
and progress towards production. We've optimized the organisation to focus on getting these
production cars done. And together with our partners, we've also been making improvements
to vehicle safety and usability and we're on track to show both the 2- and the 4-seater
production models on time next year. Then with our partners we take those models into
low volume production of the first 5000 units to test out all of the moving parts from tooling
and prcocesses to after-sales and servicing infrastructure. Once that horizon is cleared,
we take the next leap to ramp up production and start to enable our mobility-as-a-service
features to really get our solution to the masses. We just want to thank everyone for
your support so far and we are really excited about our quest to clear the next horizon
together. That horizon is of course the release of our production cars. The next phase of
our evolution brings us to our current office, and this is a space where we transition to
the next level. So, as you might notice, a lot of things are
going on lately. We've been working a lot on strategy as well as moving into a completely
new office, which is really exciting. And we tried out a little bit of a different format
for this video, which you might have noticed if you have seen these before. So let us know
what you think in the comments below. For now, let's check out the move from the old
office to the new office. So we've just started setting up this new
office. It's in Lund as well and I think we should have a look at what's been done so
far. I want to change the future. In other words
the future of this wall is now being painted white.
We don't have chairs anymore. So I'm sitting on this little box here.
Trying to start with some tiny green friends. I haven't been here since the new office was
empty, so I'm excited to see what's been done now. It's fun to move. It's nice to get into
the next phase of the company. We're on our way to the new office now. We're
gonna see how it looks. So this is where most people will sit. In
a big, nice open office. We're moving!
Day 2. It's gonna be good.
Now, privacy is very important to us here at Uniti, which is why we created this elevator
phone booth. What happened?
Just Albin trying out some new parking style. Albin got the van and then I heard a bang.

Now you have a chair again, Verena. Oh yeah, and it's quite a good chair.
So we're all moved in now. And it's super exciting and how does it feel, Lewis?
Yeah, it feels great. It's really the right space for us right now. It's nice and simple.
Alright. Obviously there's no production happening here, but what's going on on that front?
I mean, it's really time to upgrade a lot of the performance, mechanical, engineering
parts of the car and transition into a production-ready car. So that work doesn't happen here. We
have a really exciting company working on it in a a close partnership. We can't tell
you where that is right now or who that is, but definitely stay tuned for that one.
Awesome! So a lot of things are going on.... As always, we'll keep you updated on everything
that is happening here in the episodes. And in the next one, we'll introduce you to our
Vehicle Development Director Sally. I'm Sally Povolotsky. I'm the Vehicle Development
Director here at Uniti. My role and my team of engineers will take the prototype vehicles
and take them through a line of processes and validation through to a fully-engineered
vehicle ready to go on the road. Either change that we are going to do on the
vehicle, that kind of go against the original concept of the vehicle will be because we
need to change them for the purpose of safety and homologation.
The lighting, we're gonna do something extremely intelligent with.
A few changes around the door... So, you end up as the user with a comfortable,
adaptive drive. So we end up with the best car we can all
create! And as you could tell, Sally's got a lot of
interesting stuff going on on the engineering side. And you will get to see more of this
