Waching daily Aug 2 2018

We told you about this one earlier this week and now the

collab is finally here — Camila Cabello hops on Bazzi's "Beautiful"

to give it a new spin for the remix that just dropped today!

"Beautiful" was track 13 on Bazzi's 2018 album 'Cosmic'

and the new version sees Camila lend her

vocals starting on verse two, where she sings...

"Where did the time go? I wish the hours would go slow.

How is it 6AM? Your touch is heaven sent."

Bazzi first made the news official Tuesday by posting

the artwork to his Twitter, quickly followed by Camila doing the very same.

Upon the remix's release Thursday, Camila wrote…

"Bazzi opened for us on the North American never be the same tour.

I came across this song & fell more in love with it hearing it every night.

couple weeks ago on a day off I went to a studio & wrote a verse for it!"

Camila was busy making news Thursday.

In addition to the song, she also told Apple Music's Zane Lowe

she has an idea of where she wants to go with

her second album and even a possible title for it!

For more, head to Billboard.com and if you have any theories as to

that possible title for Camila's album, leave them for me down in the comments.

Until next time, for Billboard News, I'm Kevan Kenney.

Salvation Is Neither Free Nor Easy - Duration: 1:52.

Salvation is through believing in and obeying Jesus Christ.

There is no other way to be saved from eternal damnation.

Salvation is not for free.

You will have to pay a dear price to be saved.

Jesus Christ will decide who will enter heaven and who will go into hell.

Jesus requires utter obedience to His words and commands.

Those who disobey Jesus will perish.

Neither is it easy to follow and obey Jesus.

Jesus said that whoever wishes to follow Him, must deny himself, pick up his cross every

day and follow Jesus until the very end.

Jesus warned that many will try very hard but nor be able to enter the narrow door into

heaven.

Do not be deceived.

It will cost you everything to have salvation.

It might even cost you your life.

Obey the gospel of Jesus Christ; repent and stop sinning, be holy, be baptized in water

for the washing off of your sins.

Then follow Jesus until the very end.

If you quit before the end, you are not worthy of Jesus and you will not enter heaven.

Are you following Jesus on the straight and narrow road, every day?

May Jesus bless you.

Jesus Christ is alive and hell is real.

I am here to introduce you to Jesus Christ so that you can know Him, follow Him and have

eternal life.

Subscribe to my channel to learn more about Jesus.

May Jesus bless you.

Rep King is singlehandedly preventing progress to end Gerrymandering! - Duration: 3:39.

With a nation as

polarized as ours only nine percent of

Americans are going to be able to vote in a competitive house race this year

Only nine percent

That's ridiculous

And one of the drivers of that is because of something called

Gerrymandering which is why we are going to ask congressman King the following question

Congressman King

yes you a

National TV you stated I've always believed

Gerrymandering is wrong

If you have conviction behind your beliefs why have you prevented House Resolution

283 from a vote in your subcommittee this resolution states that partisan

gerrymandering must stop

Gerrymandering the topic everyone loves to talk about

But it's also important when gerrymandering is is based off a census. Every state has a certain number of delegates

So I oming has got one representative in Congress while California has got 53

What makes gerrymandering interesting is who draws the borders for these districts?

too often

it's the party in power and what this party does is it takes the minority and it throws them in just a few of the

districts

Leaving every other district

For that party in power to dominate

So not only do we never get competitive elections, but year after year

The majority is in power

Constantly and that's why we got crazy-looking borders like this one

But what's interesting in as well is

That both parties have said gerrymandering frankly sucks

President Obama two years ago said it and

President Ronald Reagan 30 years ago said that gerrymandering must stop

and

The only way gerrymandering though will truly stop is that when

Some liberal hero or considered conservative hero flies out of the sky and makes everything better

The only way we will get the people choosing the representatives instead of having politicians choose

politicians is

Through action by the people and to confront those in power

That's why a guy like Congressman King. We need to confront him when he's holding up the most important resolution on gerrymandering

We have to make our voice heard

So please if you believe in this video

If you believe that the strength and the might of American people can create change in a new direction

for our country

Please like and share this video

It's scientifically proven and not only well people obviously see the video

But people will be influenced by it as well

Jeff Sessions Is In Deep Trouble After Donald Trump Sent This Tweet - Duration: 3:47.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is once again at the center of a political

firestorm sessions refusal on the Russia investigation was the first domino to

fall in a sequence of events that led to Robert Mueller being charged with

leading a rigged witch hunt and now sessions is in deep trouble

after President Trump sent this tweet the fake news media has been dying for

president Trump to make a move against Mueller so they can claim Trump plunged

America into a constitutional crisis and Congress must immediately act to impeach

him then remove the president from office anti-trump journalists thought

they had their chance when Trump took to Twitter and fought back against

Mueller's rigged witch-hunt President Trump tweeted this is a terrible

situation and Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this ring witch

hunt right now before IT continues to stain our country any further Bob

Mueller is totally conflicted and his seventeen angry Democrats that are doing

his dirty work hard disgrace to USA Trump haters in the press rejoiced

because they believe the president ordered the Attorney General to fire

Mueller in broad daylight they had finally caught Trump committing an act

of obstruction of justice in broad daylight but as usual they pumped the

champagne corks too soon multiple Trump aids quickly pointed out that the

president didn't give an order all Trump did was express his thoughts about the

legitimacy of the Ring witch-hunt Mueller is conducting press secretary

Sarah Sanders was asked in the daily press briefing if Trump had given

sessions in order to fire Mueller Sanders responded it's not in order it's

the president's opinion and it's ridiculous that all of the corruption

and dishonesty that's gone on with the launching of the witch-hunt

the president wants to has watched this process play out but he also wants to

see it come to an end as he stated many times and we look forward to that happen

trompe l'oeil rudy giuliani was at a campaign event in New Hampshire and was

quizzed by reporters about Trump's tweet and if the Attorney General saw this as

an order Giuliani responded no it isn't it isn't at all what it is as what we

said it was immediately an opinion and he used a medium that he uses for

opinions Twitter and one of the good things about using it is that he's

established a clear sort of practice now that he expresses his opinions on

Twitter he used the word should he didn't use the word must and there was

no presidential directive that followed he didn't direct him to do it and he's

not going to direct him to do it Giuliani concluded even Axios Jonathan

Swan weighed in and said Trump knows he can end the Mueller investigation

whenever he wants but the president knows the swamp is just itching to use

it as an excuse to impeach him Swan who is one of the best sourced reporters in

the media tweeted of course anybody could see that Trump can end Mueller

investigation if he wants to he hasn't because he knows congressional blowback

would be beyond even his control this morning was just more venting more

undermining Mueller

Mr. Hawkings' Opus: 5 Reasons Why Congress Is Broken - Duration: 4:37.

Thirty years of covering Congress has me convinced it's more broken than at any point in my

career – and gets me asked, time and again, to explain what's gone wrong.

After talking about the causes for this dysfunction with hundreds of people – lawmakers, their aides,

think tank experts, lobbyists – I have reduced the diagnosis to these elements.

They're easy to remember as The 5 M's -- Money, maps, media, mingling and masochism.

Nothing has drained civility and collaboration out of the Capitol

more than the incessant money chase.

The total spent on congressional races surged 73 percent between 2000 and 2016 -- when it

cracked $4 billion.

It's sure to get higher this time.

The Supreme Court's 2010 Citizens United ruling, which said the First Amendment means

not restricting what companies and outside groups spend, means the flow is never slowing

Members in tight races have to raise buckets of cash, of course.

But those in safe seats are not immune.

They have to create a sense of financial strength that scares off challengers – and then they're

under huge peer pressure to raise even more for the benefit of electorally vulnerable

colleagues.

So dialing for dollars is what many members do, virtually to the exclusion of anything

else, whenever they're not expected in a committee room or on the floor – in call center

cubicles at party headquarters, receptions and meals when Congress is in session, car

rides between the office and the airport.

All this leaves minimal time and energy for the traditional work of a functioning Congress

– like studying policy options, promoting legislation and conducting oversight.

Most members represent territory almost certain

to elect someone from their party – thanks a bit to population shifts, but mostly to

how congressional districts are drawn.

The last time control of the House changed hands, in 2010, one in four districts was

competitive between the parties.

One nationwide redistricting later, that's true in just one of six seats in this year's

midterm.

The winning formula for everyone else is simple.

Say and do everything with the base of your own party in mind – because they're the ones

who will save you or stab you in the primary that's your only real election.

For five of six members, in other words, what works politically is being a hardened partisan

not a centrist legislator.

There's no reason to predict that will change.

Redistricting for next decade is sure to have as much political gerrymandering as ever -- especially

since the Supreme Court has decided not to decide if that practice can ever be unconstitutional.

Today's media landscape only reinforces partisan

tribalism.

The presence of local newspapers and TV stations in Washington has withered – so lawmakers

have free rein to market their capitol careers without much real time scrutiny.

Voters more and more ignore information that questions their views.

Instead they rely on web sites and cable news that reinforces their perceptions of what's

important and what's fake Social media has become a political echo chamber

– with facts and arguments on the other side not admitted.

Members are increasingly shaping their media presence, again, just to appeal to the base.

It's tough to create a collaborative legislature

when half the members don't really know the other half.

But that's life at the Capitol today.

Members generally spend just three days a week in D.C.

And since their so-called free time is all about fundraising --

they spend no time getting to know someone

across the aisle over a beer or a meal.

Fewer and fewer find homes in the Washington area, or move their families here,

so there's no after work bonding, or weekend barbecues,

which really were a thing back in the 1960s and 70s.

There's a theory in psychology that low expectations tend to produce poor performance.

When everyone notices, the negative expectations are only magnified and the work only gets worse.

That's the way it is in Congress today.

Members have been told by their constituents for so long that they do terrible work in

a terrible place.

And many of them have won their seats by running down the very

place they want to work.

And so more and more are taking actions that overtly disrespect the institution, reinforcing

voter expectations and driving the reputation of Congress lower and lower.

In a real sense, they seem to be deriving a political success from perpetuating their

own reputational pain or humiliation – which is the very essence of masochism.

They have denied themselves even a small pay raise every year for a decade.

Many of them sleep on their couches in their offices.

They've put their staff budgets on a starvation diet

which has caused a deep brain drain of Hill aides.

This gives more power to the leadership teams that are all about winning through polarization

– and to the lobbyists who hire the smart staffers

A functional Capitol would surely be a place where money was less an obsession.

Where mapmaking did not mean electoral destiny.

Where the media echo chamber was given a wide pass

Where members spent more time making personal connections.

And institutional self-loathing was replaced with self-respect.
