Waching daily Nov 27 2017

Hey what's up guys , Shark jungle is here , Lineage 15 has been released a couple days

ago for galaxy s7 and galaxy S7 edge with exynos processor it based on android open

source project and it is still in the early stages so don't expect to get the best android

Oreo experience while using this ROM but at least you can run android Oreo on your galaxy

S7 before getting it officially from Samsung , I decided to do a complete review on this

ROM in 7 parts to give you a complete picture about it as I said at this moment the ROM

is not suitable for daily usage but it is gonna get better very soon make sure to watch

bugs part to know what's not working on this ROM you can also use the time line in the

video description to watch any part you need , If you like my videos plz don't forget the

like button and subscribe for more videos

Installation Boot into recovery mode and make sure to do

a backup , If you don't know how then check the video description for the tutorial link

hit wipe and swipe for factory reset hit install then select the ROM file and make

sure to download the right file for your device as you see herolte is for S7 flat and hero2lte

for s7 edge hit add more zips and select GAPPS and I recommend

to use Pico variant now swipe to flash

hit reboot and wait for lineage animation logo to show up and this means your installation

went very well

as you see the ROM is very clean and no Root so you gonna need to root it by magisk or

SuperSU by chain fire reboot into recovery by holding the power

button home button and volume up button until you enter TWRP then flash Magisk.zip file

or Super SU there reboot after that you will be able to use any App

requires Root permission

Performance Every thing related to performance is surprising

, Ive done a benchmarking test and as you see the score is very good it actually better

that most ROMs I've tested before , Multi tasking is great no slow responses and you

can run as much Apps as you want in the background without affecting the device performance or

speed the only thing you may face is a tiny glitch in the notification bar or while scrolling

on Google play store and the browser

Sensors all sensors responding nicely , I didn't test

this ROM for a long time to check if there will be a bugged sensor or not but as you

see everything seems perfect

GPS Is not working yet and I hope to be working very soon

Battery Unfortunately I didn't have much time to check

the battery performance plus it won't be logical to check it if the ROM is not suitable yet

for daily usage .but let's hope that it's gonna be much better than Android Nougat

Gaming performance Gaming performance seems to be OK , as you

see the game running flawlessly without any problem

Features All Stock android Oreo features are available

, there is no modifications at this moment Notification drawer has all stock black and

gray buttons on white background which make it easier for me to reach

Setting menu is well organized and make sense than before

this is your power menu and there is no advanced reboot menu so you

gonna have to use buttons combination to reboot into recovery for example

finger print scanner is very fast as you see lock screen rotation is enabled

Speakers performing very well Camera is working for pictures and videos

but it's not as good as the Stock camera software

If you want to install Pixel 2 live wallpapers , just hit the link in the video description

to watch my tutorial on how to do that on your device , it's very easy steps to get

those amazing wallpaper up and running on your device

Bugs GPS is not working as I told you before

Cellular services is not working on flat S7 and has been fixed for galaxy S7 edge so it's

gonna be fixed on the next release for galaxy S7 flat and dual SIM devices

Videos taken on portrait mode can only be played on landscape mode which is weired

Some Apps cannot access internal storage like titanium backup pro and antutu App for example

You may also notice some glitches and instabilities which is not a big deal specially in the early

releases Thanks to the ROM developers team for their

great work and we are looking forward for a stable release very soon

This was my review I hope I covered everything you want to know about this ROM if you like

it plz don't forget the lie button and subscribe to get more updates about galaxy S7 and Android

News , thank you for watching , Peace

10 Good People Who Were Punished For Helping Others - Duration: 11:11.

10 Good People Who Were Punished For Helping Others

No good deed goes unpunished.

The world has its share of heroic people who will risk their own lives to keep other people safe, but they don't always get parades and trophies for their good deeds.

In the name of bureaucracy, procedure, or just pure selfishness, some people get dragged through hell for trying to help others.

Sometimes it's out of jealousy, sometimes it's for profit, and sometimes there's a whole system in place designed to keep people from being extraordinary.

Whatever the reason, the way these good people were treated will make your blood boil.

10 Oliver Sipple Saved The President, So The Media Outed Him As Gay.

Oliver Sipple wasn't a Secret Service agent or a bodyguard—he was just a bystander in a crowd.

He'd come out to see Gerald Ford, never expecting for a moment that he'd end up saving the president's life.

But when a woman in the crowd pulled out a revolver and fired at President Ford, Sipple was the one who stopped her.

He grabbed the assassin's arm, knocked the gun out of her hands, and saved Ford's life.

The media went into a frenzy.

Sipple begged them not to put his name in the news, but it was too perfect a story to leave out of the papers.

They reported everything that they could find about him.

Pretty soon, though, the papers were running out of new angles on the story.

So when word got out that Sipple had been spotted in gay bars, they outed him on the front page.

It was actually Harvey Milk who leaked the story. He thought that outing Sipple would improve the public's image of homosexuals, but Sipple went through hell because of it.

His family didn't know he was gay until they read it in the paper.

When they found out, they ostracized him.

As his reward for his heroism, Sipple was left lonely and rejected by his family.

He spiraled into depression and died an alcoholic at the young age of 47.

9 A Lifeguard Was Fired For Saving A Drowning Man.

Tomas Lopez was on duty at Hallandale Beach, Florida, when someone rushed over to his post.

A man had swum out too far, Lopez was told, and the victim was drowning.

As any lifeguard would, Lopez rushed over and got the man to shore with the help of some other beachgoers.

There, they gave the man CPR, called the paramedics, and saved his life.

When Lopez handed in the incident report, he was fired instead of being heralded as a hero.

The drowning man, his company informed him, was "out of the protected area and a clearly visible sign said that anyone who swam there did so at his own risk.

According to company policy, anyone drowning outside the designated area was to be left to die.

Lopez's coworkers were infuriated.

Six other lifeguards stood up for him, telling the company and the media that they would have done the exact same thing and that Lopez deserved an apology.

So the company fired them, too.

8 Veronica Cherwinski Was Arrested For Saving Her Friend From An Overdose.

Veronica Cherwinski had already lost one friend to heroin, and she was about to lose another.

Her neighbor was lying on her couch, passed out from an overdose, and going through all the same symptoms Cherwinski had seen.

She wasn't willing to lose another friend.

So she called 911 and waited with the woman until rescue workers arrived.

Cherwinski's call saved her friend's life.

But instead of thanking her, the officer who responded decided to bust her for drugs, too.

He searched her home for heroin, arrested her on possession, and threw her in jail.

The arrest was illegal.

The state had a law giving immunity from drug charges to anyone trying to save someone from an overdose.

But the police sergeant defended his officer.

According to the sergeant, he tells his men that, when in doubt, they should "make the arrest and let the situation play out.

" The judge and the court-ordered defense lawyer didn't care enough to look into whether Cherwinski was protected.

The reporters at The Providence Journal decided to take up Cherwinski's cause.

When the law wouldn't lift a finger to protect her, they proved that she couldn't be charged and got her released.

By then, though, it was too late.

Cherwinski's drug tolerance had dropped in prison and nobody made any effort to help her change her lifestyle.

Shortly after getting out, she injected again.

Unaware that she couldn't handle the same doses anymore, she overdosed and died.

7 A 90-Year-Old Man Was Given Jail Time For Feeding The Homeless.

Arnold Abbott was working with two Christian ministers to feed the homeless outside of a Fort Lauderdale park when the police showed up.

For feeding the homeless near a park, they told the 90-year-old man as they slapped handcuffs on him, he was going to be hit with a $500 fine and 60 days in jail.

Fort Lauderdale had just introduced a new ordinance that made it illegal to share food with the homeless within 152 meters (500 ft) of a residential area, and Abbott liked to set up his booth near the local park.

His booth was likely part of the reason.

One supporter of the law complained that his booth brought out the homeless and their "god-awful smell..

Abbott still feeds the homeless.

But to manage the charges the city keeps lobbing at him, he's had to resort to selling his blood money.

Still, Abbott has promised, "I'll keep doing it for as long as there's breath in my body.".

6 Target Sued Three Men For Saving A Young Girl's Life.

Leon Walls's rampage started on the streets.

Walls, a homeless man who was out of his mind, walked up to a group of men he'd never met and stabbed one on the street.

Then he ran as fast as he could into a nearby Target.

The stabbed man and two of his friends rushed after Walls, trying to stop him before he could hurt anyone else.

But by the time they found him, he was already holding a 16-year-old girl at knifepoint.

They tried to talk him down.

But when Walls started stabbing the girl in the ribs, they jumped into action.

One tackled Walls from behind while the girl's mother pulled her to safety and the other men took him down.

The girl survived.

But if those three men hadn't been there, she would have died.

Instead of praising them, though, Target sued them.

In what may be a move to limit their liability, Target has declared that the men who stopped Walls are responsible for his actions because they chased him into the store.

"I really don't understand," the girl's father has said.

"We certainly hold these guys in the highest regard for what they did.".

Republican Senator Paul says he plans to vote for Senate tax bill - Duration: 1:53.

Republican Senator Rand Paul, a fiscal hawk who has sometimes opposed his party's spending

plans, said on Monday he planned to vote for the U.S. Senate tax bill and urged his colleagues

to do the same.

Paul, writing in a Fox News online opinion piece, said that while the bill was not perfect

and he would "prefer a larger cut," he planned to support the measure because it achieved

some of his goals, and he could push for more changes next year.

"This tax bill is a true test for my colleagues," wrote Paul, who represents Kentucky.

"I'm not getting everything I want — far from it.

But I've been immersed in this process.

I've fought for and received major changes for the better — and I plan to vote for

this bill as it stands right now."

President Donald Trump, also a Republican, had set a goal of signing a sweeping tax overhaul

into law before the end of 2017.

About a half-dozen lawmakers have voiced concerns about provisions including a nearly $1.5 trillion

addition to the federal deficit, the treatment of small businesses and the potential impact

on health insurances costs for people with medical conditions.

Senate Republicans hope to pass their bill as early as Thursday.

With only a 52-48 majority in the 100-seat Senate, and Democrats unlikely to vote for

the measure, they can lose support from no more than two members of their own ranks.

With the clock ticking, Trump was set to meet top Senate Republican tax writers at the White

House as the administration considered policy tweaks to make the bill more palatable to

potential Republican holdouts.

Best.Cover.Ever. - Preparing for the final performance - Duration: 4:49.

Now I want to introduce you guys to Rickey Minor,

this is our musical director.

And this is Sam Wrench, man,

- stage director. - How's it going?

- Nice to meet you, Joselyn. - Hi, nice to meet you.

I'ma leave you guys to it, man.

Look at you being all organized and everything.

I got to be organized, it's the only way I know how--

You know I have like 18 jobs, so, real quick,

I'ma go to one of my other jobs. I'll be right back.

You'll be back. I love it.

I think that we wanted to, you know,

kind of talk about the key and stuff.

The original key is good,

but, like, to make it just a little bit vibe-ier,

just take it down a whole step, so...

( vocalizes )

And make it... ( vocalizes ) B minor.

All right, then, well, let's try it in that

and then you guys will let me know.

And then, the breakdown of the lyrics...

same exact as you did it with her taking...

Yeah, I think we should kind of keep it.

Yeah, I mean, it works, so...

Yeah, it works. I think we should

kind of keep it similar to the...

You take first verse, I take second?

- Yeah. - Okay.

I'm always a super nitpicky perfectionist.

- I think that'll be a good key for us to do this in. - Yeah.

She has such a good voice,

and I feel like my vocal tone and her vocal tone together,

I think it, uh... it'll be a nice collaboration.

Okay, so from a staging point of view,

it's, like, quite an intimate song, all right?

- Right. - Um, so we'll have you inside

this projection triangle,

and you guys are performing to each other.

Around the triangle, projected onto it,

is visual cues to the lyrics.

So, like things that maybe represent a relationship,

from phones, to wine, to houses.

Phones, wine, houses, and sofas.

Is that what inspired you when you wrote it?

I mean, partially. Seriously.

I started very young in music.

Around the age of four, I started singing.

It's a dream come true. I'm so excited, honestly.

- Aw, you're too much. - Thank you so much.

My mom bought me my first karaoke, and I took off from there.

Taking music lessons, taking piano lessons.

My mom put me in dance class.

Check, check.

All right, guys, I want to introduce you to Chris,

he's your choreographer, so you guys got some steps to do

while you're doing it, too, right?

- Joselyn? - Like The Temptations.

Nice to meet you as well.

- You know what, though? - What? What's up?

- Can I suggest something? - Yes.

We just want to get you to stay on your mark,

basically, and just all--

all you need to do is just emote and sway.

Okay, cool.

That's exactly what's gonna get--

but you can move slightly,

- just stay right on that mark. - Got it, got it.

So how you feeling?

A little jet-lagged, but I'm good.

Good thing you can sing really well.

( chuckles ) Well, you're great.

You sound really good.

You're not just saying that?

- Are you feeling good? - I'm feeling good.

Ready?

I'm feeling real good.

How did you write this song?

Like, what was it about?

This is good question music right now.

Very good question.

- How'd I write the song? - Yeah.

Um... ( clears throat )

- I was in a hotel room. - Okay.

And, uh, feeling vulnerable at that time.

- Yes. - And I wanted to take a phrase

that people, like, had in their language.

Mm-hmm.

Like, "We don't talk anymore."

Like, "Hello, how are you?

How's he doing? How's she doing?

Oh, we don't talk anymore."

And I put that to melody.

And then just came up with...

( plays melody )

So how is it, like, you singing with me?

I like it because I don't get to, um--

I don't get to sing it with, like, too many people.

- Right. - Um...

so it's always, like, special,

like, when, like, a different voice comes on.

So when you go on tour, you're just singing the whole song yourself pretty much?

- Mm-hmm. - Yeah.

I play the two characters in my mind and--

there's three characters in this song.

Me, the other person, and actually another person, too.

So it's like a triangle.

A lot of people don't know this, but in the bridge,

- when it goes... - ( plays melody )

that, actually-- that melody represents someone else, too.

Mm. I never thought of it.

I'm getting, like, the insight right now.

Test English, test English, it's time for test English! we are talking about sleep,

the brain, cognitive functions! more specifically today, how sleep contributes

to brain power! brain power! I don't know if you knew, but this video and all my

videos are possible thanks to awesome patrons like you! I just published a new

personal video today, so you can check that out and join me for a quick bite. if

you guys want to get some of these extra videos and also help other people learn

English, then become a patron. click here. and I hope you know to click down here,

the three dots. 1 2 3 I'm ready to go– are you ready to go? alright let's do it.

Scientific American, can napping make us smarter? Kimberley Cote at Brock

University in Ontario answers, daytime napping in healthy adults does indeed

lead to benefits in terms of alertness, mood and cognitive functioning. adults do

not require shut-eye in the middle of the day,

unlike infants and toddlers. but many grown-ups nap just the same. a 2008

National Sleep Foundation poll found that 460 out of 1,000 respondents had

napped at least twice during the previous month. you know how we do, let's

do a little review. indeed is used to emphasize. to add emphasis to something

that we were just talking about, to really add confirmation. to confirm what

was said. so adults do indeed, means yeah definitely! they really do! just some good

emphasis here. shut-eye is a great informal way of just saying

sleep. it's almost always to get shut-eye or to get some shut-eye. adults don't

require sleep as infants do in the middle of the day, however they do it

just the same. think of this as nonetheless, anyways or

regardless. a poll is a type of survey. you ask people questions and everybody

responds and gives you their ...responses. and just in case you didn't know, a nap

is not sleep. it's much shorter. different people have different ideas

about a nap, but technically for a nap you should not enter the stages of sleep.

no rapid eye movement, or REM. a very very short nap is a catnap.

I love cat naps. must be why I was so smart huh? yeah! all right let's go on–

people cite a variety of reasons for indulging in daytime siestas. some take

so-called replacement naps to make up for poor sleep the night before. shift

workers may take prophylactic naps in anticipation of needing to stay awake

overnight. many others, regardless of age and culture, habitually take appetitive

naps, they sleep simply because it feels good.

it does! Intuitively, most of us think that a nap will refresh us and make us

better able to take on the challenges of the day. in fact, research shows that

healthy adults who take naps enjoy brighter moods, faster reaction times, and

better performance on tasks involving logical reasoning, attention and memory.

first of all, that I forget to define cognitive? cognitive is the adjective of

cognition. cognition is just the process of knowing, understanding, comprehension.

basically just the brain working! sorry about that.

let's get back to our review of this part of the article. I don't know if you

guys can hear it, but I just ate way too much lunch and my belly, my belly belly is

very loud right now. okay to cite someone or something just means to quote.

excellent language to remember. if you're in school you probably have to cite

research. if you're making a presentation you have to cite some statistics. or if

you heard someone say something, you can cite what they said or you can quote. so

in writing, a citation is mentioning the research that you used to make your

claim, your evidence. Whoo, to indulge in something, like I just did. I just

indulged in a big lunch. that means to really enjoy something, pos–

possibly too much. a siesta, a Spanish word. I think most Americans think that

Spaniards, people from Spain, take siestas, and here in the US we nap. although

they're basically the same exact thing, I don't think both terms are understood

as being the same, however. the author says that intuitively many people think

naps will make them feel better, put them in a better mood. if something is

intuitive, it doesn't take any hard work to understand it. it's very natural

simple and easily understood. an intuitive design is something that is

designed very well, and has a very good user interface. simple to use, doesn't

require any work or effort. if you are in a bright mood, you are in a great mood,

you're bubbly and you're happy. it's a good day. a reaction time is how quickly

you respond to something. some people have slow reaction times, other people,

especially me after a nap, have a fast reaction time. your reasoning is your

problem-solving. how you approach something, or how you solve something or

perceive or view something . we're gonna stop it there.

some good vocabulary for today. if you want to experiment with it, definitely

put it in the comments. there's also a Patreon poll today to decide which part

of the website I will develop next. and that means of course what video I should

make to go with it. so get on Patreon and vote! send me all of your questions,

comments or suggestions! that's it for now, amigos. don't eat or nap

too much, okay? all right bye!

and seek out the help that's there for you.

>> You know, we're always too proud to ask for help.

We want to seem self-sufficient, but John, that's sort of what your office is there for,

right?

>> Well, it's funny, because I think we talked about asking for help, and we talked about

not being too prideful so you are reluctant to ask for help, but I think there's a third

category that we struggle with.

>> Which is?

>> Which is students who don't know what question to ask.

We try to have a website that will answer a lot of questions for people, especially

when it's after hours.

So if you have a question on Saturday night, and we're not open, then hopefully that will

offer someone some help.

Because, you know, when you're investigating something and researching it, you kind of

want to know right then.

You don't want to wait until Monday morning at 8:00.

But you know what, as freshmen, students are very busy.

They have a lot on their mind.

They're learning a lot of stuff inside the classroom and outside the classroom, so we

have a whole marketing campaign in place to remind students not only to file the FAFSA

but to file before our December 1 priority.

>> Early yeah.

>> Early.

I did my FAFSA in October.

>> Right.

Excellent.

We love to hear that.

So, and the other part of that message that I like to let students understand is if there

are additional steps to take, if you file early, then there's no pressure to get those

things done--

>> Right, exactly.

>> And typically when you file early, you are still on campus and so are we.

It's easy to get over to our office and ask us some questions, so--

>> At UNCG FAFSA signing.

>> December 1.

>> All right.

>> Priority.

>> That's one of ours, that's one of yours, yeah.

>> That's one of ours.
