Waching daily May 8 2017

Now that breakfast is taken care of,

it's time to figure out lunch.

It's different every day.

We need to stick to this and see.

I'll take a look at something new in Jeju-do.

There are a lot of food trucks as well.

But are they different from the food trucks in Seoul?

They are because they use local ingredients.

It's on a whole another level.

- There are a lot. / - I took the pictures myself.

- You ate all that? / - Such pretty pictures.

It's starting today.

I'm so lucky.

"Let's meet soon." That's right, let's meet soon.

Just a moment.

Hurry. We don't have time.

How long do they go on for?

It's from 1 to 6 o'clock.

Food trucks don't come out daily.

The locations always change.

You have to follow on social media

and find the location.

- You have to track them. / - Sometimes...

They don't operate.

You have to check.

Great location.

Food trucks tend to be located

at spots with great views.

- Always? / - Yes.

I could eat the plates and all at that location.

There it is.

It's in a lovely location.

If there are a lot of cars parked nearby...

That's possible because of social media.

(The first food truck is in a spot with a great view)

Let me see.

Down there looks good.

Hello.

Do you have the tortillas starting today?

- Yes. / - Bravo, good timing.

It's so nice that I would eat the plate, right?

- Of course. / - I'll take that one.

There's oil pasta with top shell and baby clams.

- What should I eat today? / - The shrimp.

Let's go for the shrimp!

- Here's $11.50. / - Yes.

- Thank you. / - Sure.

- Are you a married couple? / - Yes.

I'm from Seoul. My husband is from Jeju-do.

I came to Jeju-do with him.

That's awesome as a married couple.

It's amazing.

Not a fisherman.

She waits for the food.

I'm a food fighter.

to eat in front of the ocean?

The food's here. It's here!

They want to wear a wedding dress

but they can't get married yet.

Hence, they have solo wedding shoots.

My hairband keeps going up. Is it okay?

Isn't this going up too much?

It's like I'm becoming crazy.

Who was that during the 2002 World Cup?

The injured fighter.

He would wear a white band on his head.

- Oh, no. / - It's similar, right?

This has to work.

This is nice. Hello.

The scenery is nice.

This is really nice.

What? There are only women here.

This is amazing.

- Here's the concept. / - Why does my hair look crazy?

I'm going for this.

It's my solo wedding. It's like this.

I'm not the crazy one here.

Many people are doing this.

Isn't this concept really pretty?

(The photo-shoot begins)

This is the place.

(Leaping)

Yes, my hair is weird but it's okay.

This is so much fun. Amazing.

- Jumping is better. / - That's a great shot.

Gosh, look.

(Acting pretty)

Edit so that my tummy doesn't stick out

and make my waist a bit slimmer.

You need one of these side profiles too.

(After acting pretty)

(She concludes with a boisterous laugh)

Solo weddings are the trend.

You're not mocking me, right?

(Let's go, Kim Sook)

People really don't know.

Everyone is so disconnected from the trend.

People don't take photos alone like that.

- People like her... / - There's another spot.

- You must be having a hard time. / - Pardon?

- No, I'm really happy. / - Is that so?

Gosh, I'm tired.

Hello.

- Did you come with your friends? / - Yes.

Can you take a picture for me?

Just pretend like you're guests at my wedding.

Pretend it's your friend's wedding.

1, 2, 3.

Try a different pose.

Congratulations.

Say, "I know it's late but congratulations."

1, 2, 3.

It's not a strange thing. People do this.

It's like I'm really getting married.

- Are the four of you here together? / - Yes.

You all should've brought wedding dresses too.

Why didn't you bring them?

1, 2, 3.

Okay. Thank you.

See you. Have a great trip.

It really must be fun travelling together like that.

Women wear pretty dresses, bring flowers

and take pictures with floral tiaras on.

- Enjoying the moment. / - Yes.

(Maehwa Park, Seogwipo, Daejeong)

This place is known for flower blossoms.

It's really pretty in full bloom.

This is another picture location.

This is one place that

I really want to tell people about.

The whole park is like...

An outdoor photo studio.

Amazing.

I came alone to take pictures like this too.

This is amazing. Let's take pictures together.

This is amazing. I brought a floral tiara too.

- Those two girls... / - Amazing.

- They were taking pictures too. / - Let's take one here.

This is a good spot.

Gosh.

I'm so glad to meet you, friends.

I brought it too but I was too shy to wear it.

You already had them.

Let's take a picture.

- 1, 2, 3. / - They brought the flower tiaras.

I didn't give it to them.

1, 2, 3.

I knew there would be people like me.

It was fun. I had so much fun.

I was right.

There were people like me in deed.

This is a nice place.

(It's a great place for pictures for couples)

Hello. Hello.

This is the place I've been looking for.

It's here.

I do recommend this place.

There are so many great spots for pictures.

(Paradise for singles)

Many singles must come considering

they have those pickets.

There are props like that on the spot.

This is a fantastic place. I like it.

I have too much...

- Acne on my back. / - You don't know the trend.

- You look like Choi Hwajung. / - I don't have time.

The sun is setting.

Hey, Snowball. Will you take a picture with me?

Snowball.

(Sorry)

- How cute. / - Will you take a picture with me?

The dog ignored me.

It just ignored me.

I should take a picture here.

There are so many nice places for pictures.

- So many nice spots. / - Here...

- So many picture spots. / - Like a wedding shoot.

She looks pretty.

(You're invited to Sook's wedding)

(For myself, who is happier than anyone else)

(Good friends came to celebrate it)

It was a trip that a woman can enjoy alone in Jeju-do.

I wrapped it up with great spots for pictures.

Unfortunately,

my one year anniversary trip ends here.

Everyone, take a lot of beautiful pictures.

You're jealous, aren't you?

It's like I really had a wedding.

$43. Wow.

How much? $43?

(The judges are very impressed)

(Acknowledged)

The merit of a food truck is amazing.

I highly recommend food trucks to young people.

For restaurants, you should reserve them in advance

and it's hard to book a table next to the window.

But food trucks are great because I can eat

right where I want to.

Plus the food's so cheap so it's great.

- Didn't you eat way too much? / - What?

- You ate too much. / - I'll tell you something scary.

Because I'm on a diet,

I had to skip two places.

Originally, I wanted to eat some more.

But because I'm preparing to be a girl group.

Because I'm on a diet, I ate just a little.

Could a bag of rocks light up your home? | Shell #makethefuture - Duration: 1:37.

I'm Jim Reeves, Technical Director of GravityLight.

Living in an environment lit by kerosene is really harmful to your health.

GravityLight seeks to give people who presently rely

on kerosene for their home lighting access to power and light.

It relies on a lifted weight, and while that weight slowly descends,

a gear train inside turns that descending weight into electrical power,

which in turn lights through high efficiency LEDs,

providing ambient light and task lighting for a dwelling.

As we go into the future, what are the right ways that we can

set about answering that power requirement that are sustainable,

more ubiquitous, more fair, more spread and that's required

the efforts of an awful lot of innovators all working towards a future

which is really trying to address those concerns in a very thoughtful manner.

So at Make the Future, we're going to be

demonstrating GravityLight to the public, and the

opportunity to share what we're doing and to

explain the nature of the problems and the

challenges that exist in the world that people

may not be aware of.

It's a really fantastic opportunity and it's

something which is enormously positive.

Lucy Worsley introduces Jane Austen At Home - Duration: 1:22.

Hello Waterstones customers, I'm Lucy Worsley.

I'm here to tell you about my new book about Jane Austen

and the houses where she lived.

So appropriately we're in a fantastically opulent mansion.

Jane Austen, for an English gentlewoman in the late Georgian period

was really well-travelled.

She visited Hampshire, where she grew up,

she went to the balls in Basingstoke,

and when she was a bit older she went to live in Bath.

She visited her brother in Canterbury,

she went on holiday in Lyme Regis,

she lived for a while in Southampton,

and, oh, she died in Winchester.

I think that one of the places that she liked best of all though

was London where she would go and have a high old time

cutting her publishing deals and going shopping.

Asking me to choose my favourite Jane Austen novel

is just a cruel, ridiculous, wicked thing to do

I think that I'm probably a Mansfield Park sort of a person,

although Emma is a work of genius.

Jane Austen is just basically the greatest human being who ever lived

I really, really loved researching and writing this book about Jane Austen

I really hope it makes you see her in a new way

and that you will come to love her as much as I do
