This is a very scary moment for our democracy.
President Trump fired Comey last night, which I find just outrageous and frightening given
that Comey is leading an investigation into his ties to Russia.
I think Comey should have been fired, but I think he should have been fired on January 20th.
But now that Comey is looking into Russian connections, now he's a threat to Trump
and now he must go.
Donald Trump is a threat to this democracy.
He doesn't want anyone to investigate his campaigns alleged collusion
with the Russian government.
The American people deserve to know the truth and deserve to know if Russia and Trump were
acting together to influence the presidential election.
Whoever replaces Comey is going to be beholden to President Trump for his job and I think
that can't not affect how the investigation goes.
I think we need an independent investigator.
He took advice from AG Sessions who is recused from the whole investigation.
So we need someone, independent, special prosecutor who can take this over and get some answers.
Our getting to the bottom of what's going on with Trump and Russia really depends on
the GOP's ability to stop defending their president.
They need to be valuing country over party and actually find out the truth.
I have no confidence at all unless we have a special prosecutor because I think that
this fiasco is so much worse than Watergate, so much worse than Saturday night massacre.
This is not going to go away just because Comey is fired.
I've been an activist since the 60s and I've always felt that there was progress in our
country no matter how slowly, things kept getting better and I'm not confident anymore
than things are gonna get better unless we stay in the streets.

What is Acid Reflux? - Duration: 3:03.
Reflux is common, actually everyone has some element of reflux.
The way that the barrier between the
stomach and the Swallowing Tube works is,
it periodically relaxes in order to allow us to belch.
To get rid of gas that digestion produces
so all of us have that relaxation. It's only when it occurs very frequently,
or there's a very strong change in the pressure difference where things get pushed back up.
That it becomes sometimes a problem, and that problem is associated with symptoms,
related to acid exposure as a swollen tubes
Swollen tubes, it's just not
something that
can tolerate
exposure to acid, you can actually compare it to like a candle
that's lit. If you put your hand closer to it and move it over
it won't bother you,
but you hold it there for a little longer and all of a sudden it starts to burn, and a repeated exposure to acid
for longer periods of time
When we're laying down that becomes a definite possibility?
Can lead to pain be a burning pain or even?
chest pain it resembles a heart attack some people have severe pain related to it, and then if there's more exposure than
injury can occur so inflammation damage ulcers
after that happens scar tissue can form and cause
Narrowing and the esophagus also the potential over a long period Of time at some of the cells that are
continually injured
and then regenerate can
abnormal and
abnormal cells
Or what we call Barrett's esophagus. It has a small risk of progressing to cancer the esophagus cancer Topic is although uncommon
That is actually rising in the community, so it's one of those problems that
We think
related to reflux
Is becoming more of a problem?
We think reflux is probably becoming more common because of the obesity epidemic
So we'll see faces of Sot/vo Cancer [Raizel] reflux treated
typically very easily with
acid reducing medicines you may have heard [ppis] and those medicines suppress acid production in the stomach [and]
as a result if there's less acid and
reflux occurs the fluid that comes up is less acidic and
damaging most irritating
And most patients are cured
with just a pill one today and
They're very [thankful] for that
you

Unfair Algorithms - Painful YouTube Realities - Frustration of being a publisher after 10 years - Duration: 3:22.
you know what it's like there you are
searching for something to watch and
learn from when you see a video
promising to teach you everything in
just a few minutes so you click on it
only to find that it's just a load of
rubbish yes you have been caught out by
clickbait clickbait is a common thing
nowadays on the Internet and can cause a
lot of frustration especially when you
are trying to find something useful to
watch clickbait content is easy to spot
but often hard to resist for example
there are educational videos that
promise to teach you all you need to
know in just a few minutes but instead
you get mindless lists moronic pranks
and brainless talk show hosts need I go
on
some publishers use subjects such as sex
and violence as well as making
misleading promises in the video titles
as a way of tempting you to click on the
link sadly for most of the time these
are not what they seem of course YouTube
will do nothing about this as clickbait
helps to generate money another area
where clickbait is used is in the design
of thumbnails once again misleading text
and suggestive images are often used to
tempt people into clicking on the video
link these days YouTube relies more and
more on automatic algorithms and blindly
composed demographics to distort the way
in which videos are viewed more and more
people are finding that their video
output is being suppressed in favour of
other video publishers these are often
networks consisting of many publishers
working together YouTube actively worked
with many networks and will often give
them priority over other content I for
one have been a victim of this ongoing
trend which began in early 2011 when the
YouTube algorithms were first introduced
add to that the sorry situation where
large companies such as Warner Music NBC
Disney Fox not to mention the many
brands that now have a stake in YouTube
revenue you might even say that many of
these big companies now call the shots
it would be fair to say that the YouTube
before the algorithms and the one that
exists now are totally different from
each other for publishers like me who
have been on this site for over ten
years
this is like a gun to the head we have
become expendable we helped to create
this site but now we are being killed
off one by one this is still only the
beginning five years from now YouTube
will be unrecognizable the humble
one-person publisher will be a thing of
the past
YouTube will be another place for the
big companies to spew out their
homogenized bilge you already know who
they are ha they are the ones that are
all over the YouTube homepage every time
you come to login if as a viewer you
think clickbait is annoying you should
try being a publisher unless you are a
greedy Network willing to be a YouTube
shield or a powerful company calling the
shots then your days on YouTube are
probably numbered

Rep. Maxine Waters On James Comey Firing: This Is Highly Unusual | MSNBC - Duration: 5:19.
I TH IT WILL LEAD TO THE IMPEACHMENT OF THIS PRESIDENT.
>> SO RESPECTING THAT BE TO BE CLEAR, BELIEVE IT WOULD HAVE
BEEN BETTER TO KEEP IN PLACE AN FBI DIRECTOR WHO YOU SAID HAD NO
CREDIBILITY TO OVERSEE THIS INVESTIGATION, THAN TO FIND
SOMEONE WHO YOU THINK WOULD BE A BETTER CHOICE.
>> NO. BUT THE PRESIDENT THOUGHT THAT.
DON'T FORGET. YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT WHAT SOME
DEMOCRATS SAID, WHAT I SAID, BUT DON'T FORGET.
HE WAS THE PRESIDENT. THE PRESIDENT SUPPORTED HIM.
HE HAD CONFIDENCE IN HIM. IT WAS WITHIN HIS POWER.
>> BUT YOU SAID HE HAD NO CREDIBILITY SO IT WOULD MAKE
SENSE THAT SHE GET RID OF HIM. >> NO.
UNDER INVESTIGATION. THIS PRESIDENT BASICALLY HAS
INTERFERED WITH AN INVESTIGATION WHERE HE MAY BE IMPLICATED.
THAT'S OUTRAGEOUS. AND THAT'S WHY WE'RE HAVING SO
MUCH OF A CONVERSATION ABO ABOU TODAY.
EVERYBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT. THIS IS HIGHLY UNUSUAL.
>> THE BOTTOM LIEN IS THAT YOU THINK AN FBI DIRECTOR WITHOUT
CREDIBILITY WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IN THIS POSITION.
>> I THINK IF THE PRESIDENT HAD FIRED HIM WHEN HE FIRST CAME IN,
HE WOULD NOT HAVE TO BE IN A POSITION NOW WHERE HE IS TRYING
TO MAKE UP A STORY ABOUT WHY. IT DOES NOT MOTOR THE SMELL
TEST. >> SO IF HILLARY CLINTON HAD WON
THE WHITE HOUSE, WOULD YOU HAVE RECOMMENDED THAT SHE FIRE FBI
DIRECTOR JAMES COMEY? >> WELL, LET ME TELL YOU
SOMETHING. IF SHE HAD WON THE WHITE HOUSE,
I BELIEVE THAT GIVEN WHAT DID HE TO HER, AND WHAT HE TRIED TO DO,
SHE SHOULD HAVE FIRED HIM. YES.
>> SO SHE SHOULD HAVE FIRED HIM BUT HAD HE SHOULDN'T FIRE HIM.
I'M CONFUSED. >> YOU'RE NOT CONFUSED.
IF THE PRESIDENT IS IMPLICATED IN AN INVESTIGATION, THE
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES WHO HAS A HISTORY WHO FIRES
PEOPLE WHO GET CLOSE TO HIM AND HIS ALLIES LIKE FLYNN, AND LIKE
MISS YATES, HE WILL FIRE THEM IF HE BELIEVES SOMEHOW THEY'RE
GETTING TOO CLOSE TO HIM IN THESE INVESTIGATIONS.
I BELIEVE THAT THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES SHOULD NOT
HAVE DONE THIS IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INVESTIGATION.
THAT'S IT. >> I UNDERSTAND THAT.
I WANT TO PLAY A QUICK CLIP OF WHAT SARAH HUCKABEE SANDERS SAID
IN THE BRIEFING ROOM A SHORT TIME AGO.
>> AS YOU'VE SEEN FROM MANY OF THE GROMTS DEMOCRAT MEMBERS,
INCLUDING SENATOR SCHUMER, THEY DMT THINK HE SHOULD BE THERE.
THEY THOUGHT HE SHOULD BE GONE. I THINK IT IS IS STARTING THAT
DEMOCRATS AREN'T CELEBRATING THIS SINCE THEY'VE BEEN CALLING
FOR IT FOR SO LONG. >> WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF THE
PUSHBACK FROM THE WHITE HOUSE SAYING DEMOCRATS HAVE ASKED FOR
THIS SO LONG? >> 10:00 WHITE HOUSE WOULD LIKE
TO GATHER UP EVERYBODY THEY CAN TO SUPPORT THEIR DECISION.
THEY'RE TRYING TO BLAME DEMOCRATS NOW AS PART OF THE
REASON WHY THEY MADE THIS DECISION.
IT DOES NOT WASH. IT IS NOT TRUE.
THEY ARE SIMPLY TRYING TOO FIX HAD DEBACLE THAT THEY HAVE
CREATED AND THIS UPSETTING OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IN THE WAY
THAT THEY HAVE FIRED HIM. AND ALSO, THEY HAVE PUT THE EYE
ON THIS INVESTIGATION WHICH I LOVE.
I LOVE THE FACT BECAUSE THEY HAD, THEY DID THIS IN THE WAY
THEY DID IT, NOW MORE PEOPLE ARE FOCUSED ON THIS INVESTIGATION OF
WHETHER OR NOT THERE WAS COLLUSION.
I'VE BEEN TRYING ON GET PEOPLE TO FOCUS THIS FOR MONTHS.
I BELIEVE THERE WAS COLLUSION. AND IF THIS PRESIDENT AND HIS
ALLIES UNDERMINED OUR DEMOCRACY, THEN HE DESERVES TO BE
IMPEACHED. >> CAN THIS INVESTIGATION
CONTINUE WITHOUT A SPECIAL PROSECUTOR?
>> I DON'T KNOW. HERE'S WHAT I BELIEVE.
LET THE SENATE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE DOUGH WHATEVER IT CAN
DO. I DON'T HAVE ANY FAITH IN THE
HOUSE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY. >> SO YOU'RE SATISFIED THAT NO
SPECIAL PROSECUTOR IS NEEDED. >> NO, I DID NOT SAY THAT.
>> I'M ASKING TO YOU ANSWER THAT.
>> I BELIEVE THERE SHOULD BE A SPECIAL PROSECUTOR.
>> YOU BELIEVE THERE SHOULD BE A SPECIAL PROSECUTOR.
>> TLIBL SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN INDEPENDENT COMMISSION.
BUT I'M SAYING LET EVERYBODY GO AT THIS INVESTIGATION, UNTIL WE
GET TO THE FACTS, THE BOTTOM LINE.
WAS THERE COLLUSION? I BELIEVE THERE WAS.
NOBODY IS ASKING WHY IS IT PUTIN WANTED THIS MAN TO BE PRESIDENT?
WHY IS IT HE INTERFERED WITH OUR ELECTION?
WHY IS IT HE UNDERMINED OUR DEMOCRACY?
THOSE QUESTIONS NEED TO BE ANSWERED.
I THINK I KNOW WHY. OR I THINK I HAVE FOUND OUT
ENOUGH INFORMATION ABOUT ALL THE KREMLIN PLAN THAT I'VE
IDENTIFIED WHO ARE ALLIES, THEY ARE CONNECTED TO OIL AND THE
KREMLIN. WITH CONTRACTS AND MONEY.
>> ALL RIGHT. >> SO YES, IT WOULD BE GREAT IF
WE CAN GET AN INDEPENDENT PROSECUTOR.
>> CONGRESSWOMAN? >> IT WOULD BE GREAT IF WE HAD
AN INDEPENDENT COMMISSION. LET EVERYBODY GET IN
