NeverTrump Senate Candidate Doesn't Live in State Where He Is Running - Duration: 2:58.

When Donald Trump was elected president in 2016, voters sent him to the White House to

drain the swamp, end politics as usual, and make America great again.

Voters were tired of politicians selling out after getting elected and joining the system,

and that is why Trump needs allies in Congress.

One of the worst examples of someone selling out came last week when a candidate for U.S.

Senate in Indiana was exposed for not living in the state where is running for statewide

office.

After being elected in 2014, Congressman Luke Messer moved to a suburb of Washington, D.C.

Messer is running against Joe Donnelly in the 2018 Indiana race, but first needs to

win his primary.

The Associated Press reported that Messer owns a home in McLean, Virginia, and a vacation

home in Tennessee.

He told the reporter that he stays with his mother when he is back in Indiana.

This is the problem with politicians.

Far too often, we elect Republicans and hope they go to Washington and do what they promised

during the campaign, not join the broken system that is already in place and hurting everyday

Americans.

The debate over repealing and replacing Obamacare was a great example of Republicans promising

one thing for years, then doing another thing when push came to shove in the Senate.

It was Republicans in the Senate who spent years promising repeal and replace of Obamacare,

and it was Republicans who failed to deliver.

Trump won on the promise of ending this disastrous law, but it was senators like John McCain,

a member of the swamp, who stopped the president's effort.

Americans don't need more politicians selling out.

Voters don't want elected officials selling out to the establishment in D.C.

This congressman selling his home in the state he represents and moving to the swamp may

be one of the most egregious examples yet.

It is crazy his constituents re-elected him and now he is asking them for a promotion.

Good riddance!

The story noted that previous senators in Indiana had faced the same issue of moving

to Washington.

Just last year, Democrat Evan Bayh was sent packing because he also had sold out and moved.

Indiana voters were tired of their politicians joining the swamp in years past and, hopefully,

they won't allow another anti-Trump member to join next year.

There are 10 Trump-state Senate Democrats up in 2018 that need to go, but voters can't

replace them with establishment Republicans who have sold out to the swamp, like Congressman

Messer.

I hope the voters of Indiana find someone else, because replacing a Democrat with an

establishment, swamp-living Republican isn't much of an improvement.

America needs fewer swamp creatures and more allies for President Trump in 2018.

He needs friends ready to drain the swamp and make American great again!

MAN WHO HOPES TO PROVE THE EARTH IS FLAT IN HIS HOMEMADE ROCKET POSTPONES HIS PLANS

In an effort to prove the Earth is flat, 61-year-old "Mad" Mike Hughes plans to launch himself thousands of feet in the air in a homemade rocket.

But his launch—which was originally set for Saturday—has been postponed, The Washington Post reported Friday afternoon.

Hughes was originally planning to conduct his experiment over Amboy, a ghost town situated along Route 66 in California, that has a population of 4.

However, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) reportedly informed him that he cannot launch his scrap metal rocket on public land.

According to Hughes, the federal agency told him his experiment was a no-go, but Samantha Storms, BLM spokeswoman, said she was unaware of any communication between the self-taught rocket scientist and the agency.

Someone from our local office reached out to him after seeing some of these news articles [about the launch], because that was news to them, Storms told The Washington Post.

Despite the setback, Hughes says his launch will go on.

"Its still happening.

Were just moving it three miles down the road," Hughes said.

"This is what happens anytime you have to deal with any kind of government agency.".

If successful, Hughes' rocket will launch him a mile into the sky at 500 miles per hour, according to the Associated Press.

"If you're not scared to death, you're an idiot," he told the AP.

"It's scary as hell, but none of us are getting out of this world alive.

I like to do extraordinary things that no one else can do, and no one in the history of mankind has designed, built and launched himself in his own rocket.".

This is not his first go around.

In January 2014, he launched himself 1,374 feet in the sky aboard a different homemade rocket.

Upon landing on the ground, he collapsed and spent a few days recovering from his launch.

At the time, he wasn't a flat-Earth believer (like rapper B.o.B), but his ideology has since changed, The Washington Post reports.

His main sponsor for his latest launch is a group called Research Flat Earth, whose name is inscribed in large, bold letters on the side of his rocket.

This launch is just the first phase of his journey to prove the Earth is flat.

In the future, he hopes to travel to space and take a picture of the disk-shaped Earth.

"I don't believe in science," Hughes told the AP.

"I know about aerodynamics and fluid dynamics and how things move through the air, about the certain size of rocket nozzles, and thrust.

But that's not science, that's just a formula.

There's no difference between science and science fiction.".

Most Americans Agree – Trump Is Really, Really Bad At Being President - Duration: 3:37.

According to all available polls here in the United States, there seems to be a common

thing that most Americans in this country share, and that is we all pretty much agree

that Donald Trump is really, really bad at being the President.

Now, The Hill recently ran an article talking about the fact that Donald Trump is universally

disliked here in the United States, and they have the data to back it up.

According to all of the polls that have been taken both before he was sworn in, and after

he was sworn in as President of the United States, the American public's opinion of Donald

Trump has only gotten worse.

As The Hill points out, less than two weeks after being sworn in as President, Donald

Trump immediately started calling any polls that showed him as unpopular, fake news.

To this day, he continues to call any poll that shows him with a horrible approval rating,

fake news.

When Donald Trump won the election in the United States, his approval rating was below

50%.

When he got sworn in as President, his approval rating was 45%.

Today, the highest poll has his approval rating at 41%.

Several other polls have it as low as 36%.

So, again, it's pretty obvious that most people here in the United States, the people that

have been paying attention, believe that Donald Trump is just really, really bad at being

President.

And we don't even need polls to show us that Americans think this way.

We know that they think this way.

We have seen massive protests.

We see the backlash that he gets online from the few people that follow him who are not

bots, who want to attack the stupid things he says on Twitter, and rightfully so.

Donald Trump has proven it every possible opportunity, that not only was he not prepared

for his job as President, but he really seems like he doesn't even want to be President.

He wanted the power.

He wanted the prestige of the position, but he didn't want to have to do any of the work.

He wanted to sit around and play golf, and hope to hell that there weren't going to be

any hurricanes or floods or fires or mass shootings, but unfortunately those have been

the hallmark of his first year in office.

Not just the events that happened, but actually his responses to them.

We have had terrorist attacks here in the United States.

Mass shootings, like I said, hurricanes, floods, fires, droughts, everything you can imagine,

and yet Donald Trump did virtually nothing about any of those things.

I mean technically he really did do nothing about any of those things, and that is how

we measure a leader.

That is how we determine whether or not somebody is good at their job, especially when it comes

to being President.

Donald Trump, in every test he has been given so far, has failed, and the American public

understands that.

I think today with his approval rating being 41%, he should be happy because when you look

back at how horrible his record has been, his approval rating really should be somewhere

in the teens, not in

the 40's.
