There are a lot of things happening in the world.
Objects move, fall, and rest all around us.
You may think you understand why things move - or don't move - but did you know that the
forces acting on these objects can be measured, and their motion predicted?
Renowned English scientist Sir Isaac Newton wanted to understand the world better.
He thought he could describe the movements of the universe through mathematical observation.
In 1687 he published these observations in a book, which outlined his understanding of
the laws of motion.
These three laws of motion are still in use today, and can help us understand the relationship
between a body and the forces acting on it.
Newton's First Law of Motion is often stated as, 'An object in motion will stay in motion
and an object at rest will stay at rest unless acted upon by an outside force.'
This law is also called the law of inertia - since inertia is the tendency of an object
to keep doing what it's doing.
You have experienced Newton's first law if you have ever used a swing on a playground.
In order to start swinging, you have to use a lot of force - but once you get going, it
can be hard to stop!
Here on Earth, there are some forces working on objects all the time.
When you throw a ball upward, it doesn't keep going up forever because the force of gravity
pulls it downward.
Once it hits the ground, friction - or resistance caused by surfaces rubbing together - will
eventually bring it to a stop.
Newton's Second Law says that force is the product of mass times acceleration.
Mass is the amount of matter - or 'stuff' - in an object.
To make something accelerate, or speed up, you have to apply a force.
The amount of force it takes to move an object changes depending on how massive it is.
Think about it: you would need more force to move a bowling ball than to move a beach
ball of the same size.
The greater the mass of an object, the more force it will take to accelerate the object,
and applying more force will make the object move faster.
Newton's Third Law of motion says that for every action, there is a equal and opposite
reaction.
If you exert a force on an object, it exerts an equal force back on you.
For example, a ball hitting the ground exerts force downward.
The floor exerts an equal force upward.
This is the principle that allows rockets to launch, or jellyfish to swim!
By exerting a force downward, an equal and opposite force pushes upward, and the object
accelerates.
We can also see the Third Law in action when birds fly.
Their wings press down against the air.
The air pushes up against their wings, allowing them to move upwards.
Another good example of this law is skateboarding.
The skater pushes backwards against the ground with their foot.
The ground pushes forward with equal force.
Since the wheels of the skateboard reduce the friction between the person and the ground,
they are able to move forward for some time before forces slow them down again.
Although these three laws were written down more than 300 years ago, they are still important
now for understanding the way things move, and represent the foundation of classical
mechanics.
I hope you enjoyed learning about Newton's 3 Laws of Motion today.
Goodbye till next time!

Clinton's Accusers Stormed Al Franken's Office To Call For His Resignation(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 8:07.
Clinton's Accusers Stormed Al Franken's Office To Call For His Resignation
sexual harassment allegations continue to plague senator Al Franken today
Melanie Morgan decided to confront senator grope himself who she accused of
harassing her 17 years ago Morgan went to frankenz Capitol Hill office she
brought with her two women accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct groping
grabbing it in one case rape Kathleen Willey Juanita Broderick not
surprisingly senator Franken would not see them take a look well you can tell
Al Franken hello from Melanie Morgan he might not remember me but I sure
remember him now very clearly 17 years later we did reach out to Frank ins
office for a statement about what happened today we haven't heard back
joining us now from the media equalizer Melanie Morgan and two women who have
accused President Clinton of sexual misconduct Juanita broader a kathleen
willey well let me start with you I remember when I interviewed you remember
first Lisa Myers interviewed you first I interviewed you second and I took the
time to interview all those women at the time Gennifer Flowers has been
vindicated now we saw his contact with Monica Lewinsky so a lot of lying went
on and I remember Lisa Myers said something she called you and said the
problem is you are too credible I want you to explain the story and what the
Clinton machine did to you you know Sean that was probably one of the hardest
times of my life I had absolutely spilled out my heart and soul in that
interview I had finally decided to do it with Lisa Myers and NBC and it was
supposed to have been broadcast two weeks after they filmed it and it was
about two weeks later and Lisa calls and she says well they're still doing more
investigating mr. lac wants to have more investigating done and it was
disappointing to me because I had just been gone through the wringer okay so
she said well there's a problem there's good news and there's bad news
and I said yes and she said the good news is you're credible and I said
what's the bad news and she said you're very credible how can how do you take
something like that and then of course it went on for another five weeks before
they showed it and showed it opposite the Grammys on a Friday night I believe
let me let's talk about the things that were said the attacks that were made
against you by supporters and and oh yeah that I was lying that I had lied in
my affidavit that I was having an affair with another man which was true but my
first marriage was over they just hunted for anything that they
could to try to bring me down of course I lied in my affidavit I was scared to
death of the Clinton machine there you've had 30 years though of so many
women that have gone through this Kathleen you're one of them you went to
the White House you had known Clinton you were volunteer you and your story is
he groped grabbed fondled touched and kissed you against your will yes and
what happened to you what did people what are the Clinton machine do to you
they put me through two years of holy terror they they follow me they
terrorized me there were people sneaking around my house at 3 o'clock in the
morning they killed two of my pets they threatened my children two days before
my deposition in the Paula Jones case they told me I wasn't getting the
message they knew where my children lived and that everybody bet it better
be careful I lived in fear and terror for two years let me know I still look
over my shoulder Melanie I want to ask you because we saw the picture of
Franken and Lee aunt Whedon asleep I had an experience where Franken is nuts
right here at the Fox Studios it's a different not in the same way not in the
same vein nothing but unhinged is the only way I can describe him you had that
experience you confronted him I want you to address the 30 year what happened
today in the 30 years of Clinton and their defenders and
Democrats threading every needle up until an including last year's election
and now the position they're taking first of all I wanted to say that I've
had the opportunity to spend the last 24 hours with three of the bravest women I
have ever met in my entire life Kathleen Willey Juanita Broderick and Leslie Mill
we and I consider it an honor to be able to invite them here to Washington and
they joined me on Capitol Hill where we confronted at least the staffers of
senator Al Franken who was cowering behind the door of his office because he
refused to meet us all these years later it is so important 30 years later it is
so important to revisit history if we're going to learn for our future
generations of our daughters and our sons of our grandchildren if we don't
learn from Bill Clinton and what he did to these poor women and the exercise of
power and abuse of these women how are we going to teach our sons how to behave
appropriately you know we keep hearing from Democrats all of a sudden Democrats
after the election from last year with the day of reckoning for the Clintons is
coming a little late and it seems a little politically expedient cuz she's
not running no and you know what I just want to say that congressman Conyers
Captain Underpants as I refer to him and an Al Franken groper they need to go and
that's what we have to say to all of America and I would like to ask all of
your listeners if I could Shawn to put some pressure on the majority and
minority leaders in both houses of Congress to ask these two men to resign
they're clinging to power I understand that Conyers has left the District of
Columbia he's flown back on coach by the way to the to Michigan to his home state
but Al Franken seems to think that if he just waits the storm out that it'll all
pass but we haven't forgotten I will not forget Kathleen won't forget all of
these women we have to stop sexual harassment now we have to hold all
people in Congress accountable using our money to pay off their their their what
they're sleeping alright last question Juanita and Kathleen it's 30 years of
you basically have been abused and not now liberals have changed their tune
what message you up to them Juanita and then Kathleen you know the message that
I have is it's a little late you know I would like to have had that belief many
years ago and I don't believe we would be getting it now we're the Clintons not
on their way down it's it's hard to believe that they truly mean what
they're saying well said Kathleen I believe it's the same thing that money
too does a little too late and I think their apologies that we've heard so far
or empty apologies the only reason is that they made them is because they will
call it and like no one who said I hope that everyone in this country will call
their congressmen and their sentencers and demand to know the names of the
people on the list that are seventeen million dollars paid for their sexual
harassment cases and reminding you let it come out of their pocket we wait we
pay them we pay them and they owe us answers absolutely all right I know it's
hard for two for you guys to go back to this we really appreciate you being with
us thank you all thanks charlie

Backstabbing Authorities Just Began Confiscating Guns For Insane Reason – Met With All Out WAR - Duration: 5:00.
The crackdown on gun control had come to a screeching halt once Donald Trump took office,
but that didn't stop Democrats from getting their way.
Without warning, gun owners are now waking up to horrible news about their Second Amendment
right which has just been incredibly infringed upon in a way that's beyond unconstitutional.
To control people's right to their own safety and property is at the top of liberals'
list of what's most important to them to regain son semblance of power.
As such, they find any and every loophole they can to usurp citizens' rights that
they don't like.
Sneaky liberals plotted against Republicans and surprised everyone with what they were
able to pass through the night, forcing law-abiding Americans into confiscation or face jail time.
The old saying goes that "nothing good happens after midnight" and that's certainly the
case as people law-abiding gun owners in Hawaii are getting bad news about their guns that
they are going to have to give up for the most asinine reason yet.
The tyrannical leadership in this state has just officially made weapons confiscation
a reality for those who legally and rightfully purchased their guns.
The Daily Caller reports:
Hawaiian authorities have asked medical marijuana users to "voluntarily surrender" firearms
due to their medicinal status.
This may mark the first time a law enforcement entity has moved to confiscate guns from cannabis
patients.
Marijuana users in Honolulu are expected to turn over all firearms and ammunition to the
state within 30 days of receiving the notice, according to a letter signed by police chief
Susan Ballard, reported the website Leafly.
The state's first medical marijuana dispensary opened in August, but federal law prevents
patients who ingest cannabis from owning a firearm.
Marijuana is still categorized as a Schedule I drug by the government and is considered
in the same league as ecstasy and heroin.
Twenty-nine states and Washington, D.C., have passed laws to legalize cannabis for medical
or recreational use, but the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) issued a letter
in 2011 saying there will be no exceptions for weed users with regard to gun ownership.
The agency stated:
Any person who uses or is addicted to marijuana, regardless of whether his or her State has
passed legislation authorizing marijuana use for medicinal purposes, is an unlawful user
of or addicted to a controlled substance, and is prohibited by Federal law from possessing
firearms and ammunition.
– ATF The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals heard arguments
in September 2016 against laws prohibiting medical marijuana patients from owning a gun,
but unanimously ruled in favor of the government.
The restrictions did not infringe upon patients' second amendment rights because cannabis was
found to cause"irrational or unpredictable behavior," the panel said.
This new wave of unconstitutional control comes after the liberal state of Oregon created
a different way to force legal gun owners to forfeit their weapons or face jail time.
Second Amendment watchdogs at 2A News, explains the bill and the government's gross overreach.
On Wednesday, Oregon Governor Kate Brown signed into law a Democrat-sponsored gun confiscation
bill, permitting Oregon judges to order guns to be confiscated under an "Extreme Risk
Protection Order", based on hearsay evidence, and before the gun owner is permitted a hearing
to challenge the order.
The law is based on Oregon Senate Bill 719 and was passed by Oregon Democrats despite
widespread condemnation by constitutional scholars and gun rights groups.
All but 4 Democratic senators voted in favor of the bill, while every Republican senator
but one voted against the bill.
The sole "token" Republican voting for the bill, Sen. Brian Boquist (R-Dallas, Oregon),
claimed the law would "reduce veteran suicides", and it was under that noble-sounding purpose
that Democrat legislators steamrolled the bill through the legislative process.
Paul Phillips, President of Oregon Gun Owners, noted the hypocrisy and the underlying purpose
of the bill.
The bill, he says, will do little to prevent 'suicides'
What it will actually do, under the guise of 'suicide prevention', is deprive Oregon
gun owners of their legal rights under the second amendment.
Gun confiscations, he says, will be "based on hearsay evidence alone, and the firearm
owner is not [even] privy to a fair trial."
This is liberals' systematic and sneaky approach to total and complete gun control.
If they take this right away step by step and piece by piece, as seems to be the case,
it won't be long before this right granted Americans in the Constitution is totally erased.
Democrats will do absolutely everything they can to disarm Americans and won't stop until
they have made a sitting duck out of every citizen in this country.

3 Tips For CREATING An Online Personal Training Program - Duration: 3:04.
Alright, so when you're developing your own online personal training program,
there's a few things you're gonna need in order to make sure you get off to the
right start. The first thing you're gonna need is to offer some sort of
value. You generally want to do this for free. Now you could do this in a lot of
different mediums, so don't think you need to be super attached to one
methodology. Some people like to do podcasts. They're really great at talking.
Some people have to do videos and they love blogging. Some people like to do
actual writing and blogs. You might offer free PDF downloads and programs and
different things that really offer a lot of value upfront for free. One of the
best ways to get in front of people and give them this free content is by
running direct response marketing ads so things like Facebook advertising, YouTube
advertising stuff that's free, but front loads on value, and you never want to ask
anything except for, "Hey, do you want this free information?" So, if you're
launching your own online business/ online personal training business/
fitness business, that's the first thing you need to do- is make sure you're
leading with value. It's not about you, it's about your customer, and what do
what they actually need. Second thing you're gonna need to develop is make
sure you have an outline for an actual program. You can't just throw a
program out there, or pretend you're gonna have something. You need to
actually have a guided outline of what you intend to give your customer,
otherwise you're being a little bit unethical and that's not cool.
rYou want to make sure you're offering a program that leads with a lot
of value, and that you know what you're gonna do when these people finally join
your program and invest with you. So make sure you have an outline for a
program and you know how much you're going to sell that program for to your
clients. The last thing you're gonna want to do is you need to have a
world-class customer experience. So after we sell the program a lot of times
people are like, "Ah, okay... I did it the hard part's over"
when really that's when you should start feeling fired up and ready to start
taking action. This is when you need to make sure you blow away your clients
especially because it is an online fitness program. Some people may have a
hard time finding value in their online fitness program, so if you don't blow
them away, and ensure they get a result they're gonna be really really upset
with what they're doing. Okay, so those are the three major things you need to
do when you're helping your online fitness business.
First thing you need to do lead with value. Free PDFs, recipe guides, videos,
vlogs, blogs, podcasts, all of that would work. Second thing you're going to need
is you're going to need to have an amazing program already put together
that you know is going to help these people. So maybe it's a 12-week program
or eight-week program.. and I would put a higher price tag on it if it were me.
Don't do it for like ten bucks a month because it's just not gonna
work and it's not gonna be worth your energy if you're trying to deliver a
world-class experience. Which is number three, make sure every part of the entire
process there is dialed in... that they absolutely love it. That you're
consistently getting feedback and making your program better and better and
better. Hey Thanks so much for watching!

Ameya Pawar for Governor: Why I'm Running - Duration: 2:06.
(Ameya Pawar)
I got into politics after Hurricane Katrina,
because I watched politicians and policy makers
blame poor people for poverty.
And I spent a lot of my time in graduate school looking
at those connections between disaster and poverty.
And the one thing I kept coming back to -
and it's also where I met my wife, at the University of Chicago.
But the one thing we keep coming back to
is that our policies are always based on deserving and undeserving.
That we believe that some people deserve more than others
and we need to break that narrative
and I'll tell you why:
Thirty, forty years ago,
when industries and factories left
black and brown communities, we saw what happened:
poverty went up
and we had a crack and cocaine epidemic.
And what did we do?
We broke up black and brown families.
We sent men to jail.
We didn't provide treatment.
We didn't create jobs.
We didn't follow with investment.
We sent people to jail and we broke up families.
Now that those same type of jobs are leaving white communities
and opiate and heroin issues are ticking up,
Now it's a public health issue.
And the truth is it's always been a public health issue.
The path forward is recognizing the injustices of the past
but the injustice of the narrative
of looking at some people
as deserving and undeserving is our path forward.
Because I'll tell you this much:
As I've been traveling around the state.
whether we're talking to poor white people, black people or brown people
the issues are the same:
They want good schools,
They want good jobs,
They want universal childcare
And they want to stop
being locked up for low-level drug offenses,
and stopped being treated unfairly.
This is our charge.
This is what government is about.
That's why I'm running for Governor.
I believe it's time we bring people together,
stop fighting over scraps.
We're neighbors.
We're Illinoisans.
And we should act as such.
Thank you.

Ameya Pawar for Governor: Child Care - Duration: 1:23.
If you look at our day it's organized chaos from the moment Sigi wakes up.
Frantically figuring out how we feed the dog, walk the dog, get Sigi up, get her in
the car and to child care by 8:30 a.m. and then figure out how to get the dog to
doggy daycare, run home shower change and then get wherever it is that we have to get to.
We're very lucky because my dad drives about 15 miles every single
morning to help with this process. We could do without him.
We couldn't do it without all four grandparents and so the reason why we talk about
universal child care is that - look, we're privileged. We're very lucky. We've got a lot of support.
Yet, it still is a daily struggle to make things work.
This is the reality for American families today.
Working families often have to make a choice between
going to work or staying home to take care of their child.
Having a child shouldn't condemn you to poverty. We believe that the state has a
responsibility and supporting working families with the universal child care
and that's why it's part of my New Deal for Illinois.
you
