I look crusty as f-. Oh.
Hey guys, it's Annika. Welcome to my channika.
Today, I'm going to be doing a really f-ing excited
and really f-ing super requested video
I'm going to be talking all about my bullet journal
excuse the cover I ordered some more stickers
to put here and here but right now
it's just kind of a messiness kind of really f-ing ugly
but that's okay
basically I've been talking about my bullet journal
all over social media
on my snapchat on my public spam account
And I've even mentioned it in a few videos
What bullet journaling is it's basically
well the reason why it's called bullet journaling
is because instead of a journal with lines
the journal has a bunch of dots as you can see
I don't know if it focused
but that's why it's called bullet journaling
I'm pretty sure
essentially what it is is just aesthetic journaling
you've probably seen it all over Tumblr and Pinterest
lots of people use it to organize their lives
moms use it to track their meals and whatever
and you know people who have jobs
use it to track like what they need to do
for me I'm using it as a therapeutic and artistic outlet
so I'm using it mostly to draw
and then every day I write a journal entry
just because I feel like I need somewhere
to express my feelings that's not you know so public
because I feel like I usually go public
with my feelings a lot of the time
which is not very healthy
but yeah so that's what bullet journaling is
I've gotten so many requests from you guys
to show you guys how I bullet journal
and how I make my weekly spread
and I'm doing this in the middle of November
I'm just doing my weekly spread
and I'm just showing you how to do my weekly spread
I don't know if I'm gonna make this in a separate video
or if I might just combine it with this video
but I will show you how I'm doing my entire
monthly spread for December
But in this I'm really just showing you
how I set up my week
and also just this front little page
that I showed which would technically go
at the beginning of the month
when I'm doing an entire monthly spread
I will have things such as a mood tracker
a habit tracker
will be having my goals for the month
you know I'll have a calendar and all that
so yeah let's get popping
what I first did was I decided to start off
with a page that just says bullet journal
I took one of the Crayola super tip markers
in a light pink shade
and I wrote bullet in all capital letters
and then using a papermate pen,
I totally f-in forget what they're called
and really sorry about that
I'll put it on the screen right now
I just wrote bullet over top of it in cursive
and I added shading
on some of the sides of the letters
to make it look like faux calligraphy
I'm not good at calligraphy quite yet
I feel like hand lettering and calligraphy
are a really big part of bullet journals
but I have it on this skill yeah
but it obviously just comes with practice
so I just faked it for now
and then I wrote journal
and the same kind of folk calligraphy
and I did yellow lines using a tombow duo brush pen
I'll talk a little bit more about those
and the other supplies that they use later in the video
so I used a combination of tombow duo brush pens
and Crayola super tips
I love the tombow dup brush pens
because they're double-sided
so one side is a really big felt tip marker
that is great for calligraphy
and then the other side is a really small dense marker
that's good for just writing
and I love the Crayola super tips
because they have a lot of colors
and the 50 pack is only like 10 bucks
so they're super duper affordable
and they do a very similar thing
to the tombow duo brush pens
to start off I first made a little square
and inside I wrote don't worry about the little things
they don't deserve your time
live every day with purpose
and surround yourself with people that make you happy
and at the top I wrote reminders
it's kind of cheesy but I do feel like
little quotes like this are really important
especially since I'm looking at them every single day
it really helps me interiorize them is that a word
internalize that's what I was looking for
internalize them
but I did it in a square and then I did like a shadow
so it kind of looked like there was another Post-It note
kind of thing underneath it
then I just drew some light bulbs
so it could be an aesthetic f-ing Queen
and also just because I like drawing
and I wanted to fill the space
and then I wrote time you enjoy wasting
is not wasted time
in the same kind of faux calligraphy
overtop of bold letters using tombow dual brush pens
and Crayola super tip markers
I also drew a little thing called November swatches
and in there I have the main colors
that I wanted to use for this month
obviously we're starting at towards the end of the month
so I didn't really get to utilize those colors
but this would come in handy
if you were doing a full month you know
if you weren't to f- up like me
so I used a combination of tombow dual brush pens
and Crayola super tips
I made a little calendar I used some gold washi tape
and I just kind of like you know organized it
it's not the best I'm not the biggest fan of it
but it works it's fine it's okay
And then, you know, I wrote November
in the same f-ing bold letters with the cursive
because that's my favorite font
I loved doing that for headers
I overuse it actually but I really like it
and then I just drew some cacti and flowers next to it
because there was an open space and I was like
you know what
let's do it
starting off with my weekly spread
I wrote November 19th through 25th at the top
and I did that in the same faux calligraphy
that I did before and you know I just did the 19 25th
in normal handwriting
um I started off by writing Monday
as the start of the week
and then I realized that I totally f-ed up
because sunday is the 19th
and I'm just a f-up with what else is new
so to cover up my mistake
I used some brown scrapbooking paper, which I thought
would give it an aesthetic vintage grungy vibe
and I used that using this like
I don't even know what you call it
just scotch a double sided tape dispenser
I don't really know what you call it
but you just roll it on the back of paper
and then you just stick it down
it's really heavy-duty tape and I really like it
and then I just drew some flowers by it
I did the same with all the other dates
and then I did a little weekly playlist
I feel like this comes in handy just like
so that I can see over time
how my music taste has grown and also just like
I don't know so I can remember what my go-to songs are
I don't really know why I did it
and then I finished the next page
without showing you guys because it was really simple
but I just did a sleep tracker
and I'll show you how the sleep tracker works
right here I have the days of the week
Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday
and I have a bunch of numbers here
I have 9 means 9 p.m. through 11 which means 11 a.m.
and what I'm gonna do is every night
I just highlight from what hour to what hour
of sleep I got and it's just kind of interesting to see
again if I were doing a monthly spread
I would put this at the beginning of the month
and I would do it with all the days of the month
but since I'm just doing two weeks or November
I'm just gonna put them in each week
cuz you know it's simple
Oh a b-- is dry
moist
and then I make sure to add a little place
where I can add my gratitude for this week
especially since this week is Thanksgiving
I do do this little gratitude section every week
because I think that gratitude is super important
but I made it a really big section this month
just because it's Thanksgiving
and I added some little leaves because I'm aesthetic.
I'm an aesthetic queen like that
so yeah
it's a different day that's why I look even more like trash
this section of the video
I'm gonna be talking about my December spread so I showed you what I did for the weeks and now I'm gonna be
showing you what I did for December I drew a bunch of circles just kind of
like overlapping each other they weren't like perfect circles I made them like
kind of squiggly and then I drew little shapes to make lights and then I feel
in different colors just to make them my Christmas lights and then I did the
focal iqra' fee for hello and then I just wrote December normal capital
letters for the calendar layout ok calendars always take me a really long
time to do because I'm such a perfectionist and they need to be like
the same amount of dots and it was just really hard for me I basically just drew
all the days of the month or December at the top I decided that the colors I
wanted to use were like kind of like turquoise blue and purple um so I did
that and my brother's birthday is on the 26th oh I drew a cake and I drew a
present for Christmas and then I wrote important dates and I'm just gonna fill
out any important dates that there's gonna be I wrote the days of the week I
did the numbers you know and then I wrote baby it's cold outside and I drew
swimming so yeah then I did a my sleep tracker I don't remember if I did my
sleep tracker before I did my mood tracker but I messed up so much on my
mood tracker that I had to like cut it out and like tape it down onto a
different page but for the sleep tracker I just did the numbers of like the day
so December 1st 2nd 3rd 4th all the way down to the 31st and then I did 9 p.m.
through 5 p.m. and I just did all that so what I'm gonna do was everyday I'm
just gonna highlight from one hour to one hour and I gotta sleep similar to
what I did in my weekly spread in the beginning of the video then for the
habit tracker and basically have like all the habits that I want to follow and
then every time I excessively do one of those habits I fill in a square or post
bids I outlined which days I need to post videos so I'm just gonna color them
in if I do it you get what I mean but how does that I have our post videos
shower wash makeup brushes journal homework no drama no spending and
self-care and then I did a mood tracker going down the side and I just have you
know the days of the month and then the days of the week that correspond with
that and then I have a key at the bottom I have yellow is happy dark blue is
depressed light blue is sad periwinkle is lonely
man is anxious and red is mad I'm just gonna color in whatever color I was
feeling the majority of that day and that's what goes in the mood tracker
portion and then a very last page for the monthly spread is my youtube tracker
I do have a subscriber count I'm gonna write how many subscribers I have on
December 1st and on December 31st and then I'm gonna have my video ideas right
over here and then on this page I'm going to start my weekly spud so I'm
planning on doing vlogmas for December so I'll keep you posted on what I'm
doing for my weakest spreads do you like my hoods up I look so hot
honestly you want to be me um so yeah that's basically my bullet journal if
you guys want me to do more videos like each time a new month starts I can do my
monthly spread for you guys let me know whatever y'all want to get so much for
watching this covers it's gotta suck my dick and keep on bullet journaling

Very Difficult Deep Tonsil Stone Removal - 7 Working Treatments for Tonsil Stones deep in throat - Duration: 7:15.
Very Difficult Deep Tonsil Stone Remova - 7 Working Treatments for Tonsil Stones deep
in throat
Choosing appropriate treatment for a person with tonsil stones mainly depends on two crucial
factors- The size of the tonsillolith and
Its potential to cause discomfort or harm to you.
A True Fact: A strange fact in many cases of tonsil stones
is that, though they are removed they can reappear again and again.
In my book "Tonsil stones Eliminator" I revealed that this is mainly due to the
wrong treatment followed by the person to eliminate the tonsil stones.
So only by choosing the perfect, suitable treatment, you can cure the tonsil stones
permanently.
Are Antibiotics the only way for clearing away Tonsil stones?
After hearing many true stories from others, many people start believing them and thus
depend solely on antibiotics for curing tonsil stones.
But…NO…
Antibiotics just decrease the pain and symptoms of your problem but not its root cause.
There are many cases in which, even after the use of antibiotics, people were unable
to get rid of their tonsil stones.
Thus the best way to remove tonsil stones is to completely adapt to suitable treatment
that works for you.
Today I'll give out some Best working treatments that can be followed to get rid of your tonsil
stones even if they are deep in throat…
Treatment #1: At-home/Natural removal Methods: There are a number of natural methods to eliminate
the tonsil stones problem.
Out of them, the most popular one is to remove the tonsil stones using a cotton swab/q-tip.
In this, all you need is just a cotton swab or picks.
Remember Tonsils are not any unreachable area.
They are even visible if you use a mirror.
So for a few minutes keep your fears aside and take a cotton swab/Q Tip.
Gently start removing the stones on your tonsil.
See, a few minutes of your act can solve your problem completely.
But remember not hurting your tonsil.
Treatment #2: Salt water gargles: Sometimes tonsillitis is also the core reason
behind the cause of tonsil stones in your mouth.
Many doctors don't tell you about this and thus simply treat tonsil stones.
But the tonsillitis again causes the formation of tonsil stones in your mouth.
Gargling with warm, salty water may help alleviate the discomfort of tonsillitis and its pus
formation.
In this way you are addressing the root cause of your tonsil stones problem.
Treatment #3: Antibiotics: Though antibiotics are not the only treatment,
they are also a considerable treatment that is followed by thousands of people everyday.
Various antibiotics can be used to treat tonsils.
While they may be helpful for some people, they cannot correct the basic problem that
is causing tonsilloliths.
According to my experience, doctors most likely will give you some antibiotics only for the
symptoms.
It works quite well for some infection, such as sore throat caused by tonsils stones.
The problem is antibiotics does not guarantee a long term resolution of clearing away these
stones.
Treatment #4: Surgical removal: In some cases, Tonsil stones are exceedingly
large and symptomatic.
it may be necessary for a surgeon to remove them.
In certain instances, a doctor will be able to perform this relatively simple procedure
using a local numbing agent.
Then the patient will not need general anesthesia.
You need to understand that you must choose this treatment only, your condition is serious
and there is no way you can treat the tonsil stones.
Treatment #5:(A Cause that people don't know) Vitamin C And Sulfur can eliminate Tonsil
Stones Do you know, At times If your tonsils have
a shortage of vitamin c or sulfur or one of this kind of substances, tonsil may perhaps
create a tonsil stone.
Thus Getting Vitamin C and Sulfur can be another wonderful way to take out tonsil stones.
The actual tonsils' characteristics significantly rely on both Vitamin C and Sulfur therefore
it is really extremely important so that you can eat ample volume of those two materials.
. As a all-natural method of consuming these kind of elements, there are fruits and vegetables
that could be swallowed to help make sure that our system, along with the tonsils, gets
the proper sum.
Treatment #6: Oxygenating tablets and nasal sinus drops:
A simple combination of oxygenating tablets and nasal sinus drops will effectively eliminate
tonsil stones without unnecessary tonsil surgery.
Also, the occasional use of an oxygenating spray will help to immediately neutralize
the anaerobic sulfur-producing bacteria on contact.
Treatment #7: Remove dairy from your diet: Remove dairy from your diet or limit its intake.
Dairy food encourages the buildup of mucus and calcium, which are both the elements of
tonsilloliths.
Thus decreasing them from your diet and proper oral hygiene may gradually reduce tonsil stones
problem.
These are the 7 effective treatments that can be followed to eliminate the tonsil stone
stuck in throat.
So choosing your treatment wisely and following it correctly can completely end the irritating
problem of tonsil Stones…
Attention: What is the safest Natural way to remove my tonsil stones deep in throat?
Over the past decade..
I have developed a natural proven system to eliminate one's tonsil stones completely.
We call it the "Tonsil stones eliminator" This is a revolutionary way of eliminating
tonsil stones based on the type and root cause causing them (Thus they will never ever comeback
again)
"So..
What should I do now?"

Paper cutting Practice sheets | Free | Paper cutting basics, for beginners - Duration: 7:12.
Paper cutting requires a lot of time, patience and most importantly, skill.
With enough practice, even the most intricate designs
will become less scary.
Many people who visit this channel and watch my paper cutting videos and creations often
ask where they can get started with this craft.
I already have a lot of videos explaining all the supplies you will need, but I wanted
to go a step further.
I spent some time trying to create practice sheets that would help you refine your cutting
skill and I decided I'd share it for free.
I'll put the link in the description below.
I included each design two or three times in different
sizes but you might need more so it's a good idea to print several copies.
I won't cut everything on the sheets in this video, but I'll show you
how to do it if you don't understand the instructions.
I'm using a 15a blade and a small cup for the cutouts. Use any scalpel or craft knife you'd like.
The first thing I want you to practise is cutting straight lines.
Whatever shape you are cutting, hold your knife at about 45 degree
angle.
When you get to the end of any line in the design, you might feel the need to lift it
up slightly. That's fine.
Use your other hand to rotate the paper when needed.
If the paper is still stuck, make a few more passes until it comes loose from the sheet.
At first, your cuts might be left with a rough, uneven edge but
with a bit of practice, it will be clean and straight.
Continue cutting the smaller squares and then move on to triangles
and diamonds, cutting them in the same way.
The next section is about curves.
You should start with the thickest one.
Again, remember not to twist your hand but instead
turn the paper with your other hand.
Take it slow, there's no rush.
The thin one on the next page is probably the trickiest so I wanted to show you on that
example.
If you want, make a straight cut on the edges first and then move onto cutting the sides
but here you can do it the other way around as well.
The first curved line will be easy to cut, but the paper will become
flimsy so you'll need to put your index finger and press down firmly to prevent tearing.
All the tips both written on the sheets and explained in this video are something
to remember no matter what shape you are cutting so it's worth repeating them a few times.
Now that you're familiar how to cut curves, it's time for circles.
Most people have problems with this, not without a reason.
It's possible to cut out a perfect circle if you turn the paper around slowly,
keeping the blade straight or slightly bent inwards.
If you have to, lift the blade up, but the best result is achieved if you cut in one
smooth motion without lifting it up from the paper.
Of course, your blade should always be sharp.
You can always go back and clean the edges if you need to, but it's best to prevent that by going slowly.
Now we have a lot of different shapes that will challenge you.
Use all of these advices and you won't have any problems.
To help you out, I'm showing you where to start cutting and how I'd cut it.
These shapes are simple so you have the liberty to do it
in a different way, I wanted to show it for those who aren't sure what to do.
This continues on the next page where you have
a heart shape and something a bit different, a flower that's more suitable to be a positive
papercut.
It might be a bit too hard for a beginner, but there's no reason why you shouldn't try
it.
First remove the small triangles inside which divide the petals and
then remove the inside of the petals - in short, remove those tiny white areas.
Finally, cut the grey outline and you will have a flower
papercut in your hand with only its outline, the negative space, left on the practice sheet.
The next section is about text.
Letters are thin so if you have any closed areas inside make sure to cut them out first
or it will be harder later.
Closed areas you see in letters as a,b,d,r and many more
are called counters.
These examples are negative papercuts, the text will stay on the practice sheet so there
are no closed areas.
Otherwise those counters wouldn't be attached to the papercut and would float.
Cutting anything without counters is easier to cut, which is exactly why I put it here for beginners.
Again, same rules apply.
Here you can practice on different fonts to practice both straight and
curved lines.
If you're making your own templates, always flip any text before printing.
I didn't flip it here as it would probably confuse a lot of beginners.
Finally, I included some templates that will become papercuts you can frame or use
in other projects.
These are all positive papercuts so you'll need to cut around them, leaving a bit of
blank space around the black template.
I already drew a dashed line to help you out so all you need to do is to cut along it with
scissors or using your scalpel.
Put the practice sheet aside for a moment and work on your papercut.
I chose to cut this one with a girl reading on the moon.
The golden rule is to cut from the inside to the outside.
Remove all closed areas first and then work your way to the outside.
This is a simple design so there's not much to cut.
As always, cut with one hand and turn the paper with the other one, pressing with your
index finger if needed to stop it from breaking.
Flip it over to reveal the finished design and you're done.
The black template will stay on the back, which is why I insisted on printing flipped
text.
When you reveal the front side, then your text won't be mirrored and will
be readable.
Here are some other examples, I recently shared a video about these landmark papercuts which
are also free for download and are suitable for beginners.
On the last page, there is a lovely anchor and one negative papercut - the girl blowing
a dandelion.
First cut the outside along the dashed line, then cut the white
space which is the girl's silhouette and then move on to the dandelion.
Here's one more example of positive and negative space.
I used a scrap piece of paper to cut out a leaf.
The leaf is a positive papercut and its outline on the scrap paper is a negative one.
These will help you with the basics and after that you can move on to any other design
to build your skill.
If you need more help using them, don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you for joining me today and I'll be back soon with more paper cutting ideas.

England captain Dylan Hartley BENCHED by Eddie Jones for Samoa clash
Hartley has been Jones's captain and hooker in 22 successive matches, going back to his first match in charge in November 2015 but has been named on the bench.
Jamie George will instead start as hooker as he finally makes his full debut after winning world record 19 caps in a row coming on as a replacement.
He is one of nine changes to the team that beat Australia 30-6 last weekend while former captain Chris Robshaw and George Ford will share the armband. Robshaw was sacked as England captain after the disastrous 2015 home World Cup.
But he has been in tremendous form both for England and Harlequins this summer at flanker.
And Ford said: "I'll lead the attack and Chris will lead the defence and the forwards, so I'm sure we'll to help each other during the game," Ford said.
Jones wrote off Robshaw as a No 7 two years ago but said: "Chris will play the way he plays every week and thats being absolutely selfless for the team. "There'll be no changes despite the number on his back.".

Why Ginger is Good For Men? 20 Health Benefits of Turmeric - Duration: 10:41.
Why Ginger is Good For Men? 20 Health Benefits of Turmeric
Over the years, researchers have been learning more and more about the health benefits of turmeric and its active component, curcumin.
It's been eight years since we first.
published the 20 Health Benefits of Turmeric and I decided that it's time for an update with links to the latest studies.
Turmeric has been used for over 2500 years in India.
The health benefits of turmeric have been slowly revealing themselves over the centuries.
Long known for its anti-inflammatory properties, recent research has revealed that it can be helpful in the treatment of many different health conditions from cancer to Alzheimer's disease.
One thing to take note of is that research has found that consuming black pepper with curcumin increases its bioavailability.
BRAIN TUMORSOne of the biggest health benefits of turmeric is in the prevention and treatment of cancer.
Research has found that curcumin induces cell death in medulloblastoma, a pediatric brain tumor.
Other studies have found that it may induce cell death in glioblastomas, an aggressive type of brain tumor that is resistant to chemo and radiation.
PROSTATE CANCEROne study found that turmeric, when combined with cruciferous vegetables, may prevent prostate cancer and stop or slow the growth of existing prostate cancer.
SKIN CANCERA study found that curcumin caused melanoma cells to commit suicide.
Topical curcumin has shown promise in fighting squamous cell carcinoma.
LEUKEMIACurcumin was found to have an inhibitory effect on WT1 gene expression in childhood leukemia cells.
A study on Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML) at the University of Palermo in Italy found that mice treated with curcumin developed smaller tumors than the control group.
MULTIPLE MYELOMAA French study published in 2014 in Cancer Biology & Therapy found that several different multiple myeloma cell lines were sensitive to curcumin.
The study authors concluded that the results indicate more clinical trials are worth doing on curcumin and multiple myeloma.
MD Anderson Cancer Research Center at the University of Texas has been studying the effects of curcumin on multiple myeloma for several years.
For an interesting anecdotal story of a woman with multiple myeloma who has been keeping her cancer at bay for years using MD Anderson's curcumin protocol, check out Margaret's Corner.
METASTASIS PREVENTIONMultiple studies have found that one of the most exciting health benefits of turmeric is the prevention of metastasis, the spread of cancer from the primary site to other areas of the body.
CACHEXIA PREVENTIONCachexia is one of the biggest hurdles for many cancer patients with solid tumors.
It causes weight loss and muscle wasting even when large amounts of food are ingested.
A Chinese study found that patients with colorectal cancer who were given oral curcumin while waiting to undergo surgery experienced weight gain.
The same study also found that curcumin induced cancer cell death in patients with colorectal cancer.
CHEMOTHERAPY ENHANCERResearchers at UCLA found that curcumin enhances the effects of cisplatin, a chemotherapy used in the treatment of many different cancers.
Cisplatin and curcumin together worked better at suppressing tumors than cisplatin alone.
In addition, a study published in the Nutrition and Cancer journal found that curcumin not only makes cancer cells more susceptible to chemo but it also protects healthy cells from the toxic effects of chemo.
ALZHEIMER'S PREVENTIONOne of the most exciting turmeric benefits is in the realm of brain health.
It has long been noted that elderly people in India have low rates of Alzheimer's disease.
One reason may be that they consume a lot of turmeric in their diets.
A study found that curcumin may prevent or slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease by removing amyloyd plaque buildup in the brain.
EYE HEALTHA study at the UC San Diego found that curcumin may be able to treat some types of retinitis pigmentosa, a degenerative group of eye diseases that can lead to blindness.
Another study found that it may be helpful in the treatment of macular degeneration.
WEIGHT LOSSResearch has found that curcumin may be a powerful tool in the fight against obesity and its related symptoms.
Curcumin reduces leptin resistance, lowers insulin resistance, reverses hyperglycemia, reduces inflammation, and activates fat burning gene signals.
NATURAL PAINKILLER & ANTI-INFLAMMATORYCurcumin is a natural painkiller and cox-2 inhibitor. One study compared curcumin to ibuprofen for pain relief in knee osteoarthritis patients and found that the curcumin worked just as well as ibuprofen.
Several studies have found that curcumin has potent anti-inflammatory properties.
According to the Arthritis Foundation, several studies have found turmeric to be effective at reducing joint inflammation and pain, with one of the studies even finding curcumin to be better at reducing pain and swelling in patients with rheumatoid arthritis than diclofenac, an NSAID that is commonly prescribed for people with RA.
LIVER HEALTHIs your liver taxed to the limit? One of the health benefits of turmeric that is believed to be a natural liver detoxifier.
One study found that it may protect against alcohol-induced liver damage as well as damage caused by a high fat diet.
PARKINSON'S DISEASECurcumin crosses the blood-brain barrier and is a known neuroprotective agent. Several studies have found that curcumin may be beneficial in the treatment of Parkinson's disease.
According to Michigan State University researchers, curcumin can prevent clumping of a protein that leads to Parkinson's.
MULTIPLE SCLEROSISCurcumin has shown promise in slowing the progression of multiple sclerosis.
A study at Vanderbilt University found that curcumin prevented the onset of an autoimmune disease in mice that is similiar to MS in humans.
In fact, the study authors said that MS is a rare disease in India and China, where turmeric is consumed on a regular basis.

Congress Throws Teachers Under The Bus To Cut Taxes For The Wealthy - Duration: 3:50.
As most people are aware, the House of Representatives last week passed their tax reform package.
That actually raises taxes in many cases on the middle class and the under class, while
giving the wealthy and corporations massive tax breaks.
What some people don't quite understand is exactly how petty this Republican tax plan
truly is.
Here is the best example.
According to this new tax plan, what's going to happen is that teachers in the United States
will no longer be able to write off on their taxes school supplies that they buy for their
classroom with their own money.
However, if you own or fly on a private jet, you're going to be able to write off most
of those expenses on your taxes so you pay less.
We're punishing people who are already in a fairly low paying profession that is being
attacked by the Trump administration and by Republicans in general all over this country,
and instead of giving them a tax break, we're giving that to people who fly around on private
jets who clearly, if you own a private jet, you have enough money to pay taxes for flying
on a private jet.
You may not think that this is a big deal, but let me explain something.
I'm explaining this as the husband of a special education teacher here in the United States.
My wife and many of the other people that she works with, my sister who's also a professional
teacher, I have many friends who are teachers, every single one of them, every single month
when they get their meager paycheck, has to go out and take some of that money away from
family expenditures, away from being able to buy medicine, to buy the necessities for
their classroom in order to properly educate your children.
They're taking money away from their own families so that they can provide a proper education
to everyone else's children.
That is dedication.
That is something that few people in this country can fully comprehend, but as somebody
who personally experiences it every month, I can tell you that it does make things tougher
for families.
The one bright spot is that they get to write off these expenses on taxes, so it helps.
The average teacher in the United States is paying $500 per year out of their own pocket
to buy equipment for their classrooms because school budgets across the country are so screwed
up and cut back to nothing that they don't have what they need to properly educate our
children.
Furthermore, all of these expenses for all of the teachers in the country combined come
out to a little over $1 billion per year.
That is $1 billion per year that low income American citizens are no longer going to be
able to write off on their taxes, but if you have a private jet, if you don't have to worry
about public education because you send your kids to private school, you get to write that
stuff off.
Meanwhile, the people who need those write offs the most, the people who are giving away
their own money to educate your children, they're getting screwed in this deal.
That is the best possible example that I can give of how unfair and one-sided, disgustingly
deplorable that this Republican tax plan truly is.
Anyone who supports it is personally attacking public education and teachers all across this
country.

Oscar Pistorius' prison sentence for girlfriend's murder increased from six to 13 years - Duration: 4:07.
Oscar Pistorius' prison sentence for girlfriend's murder increased from six to 13 years
Oscar Pistorius prison sentence for girlfriends murder increased from six to 13 years . REUTERS South Africas Supreme Court has more than doubled athlete Oscar Pistorius jail time for the 2013 murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
Oscar Pistorius prison sentence has been more than doubled to 13 years and five months, in a surprisingly dramatic intervention by South Africas Supreme Court of Appeal in the Olympic athletes fate after the murder of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
In an announcement that took a matter of minutes on Friday, Supreme Court Justice Willie Seriti said a panel of judges unanimously upheld an appeal by prosecutors against Pistorius original six-year sentence for shooting Steenkamp multiple times in his home in 2013.
Under that initial sentence, which the court called shockingly lenient, the double-amputee runner could have been released on parole in mid-2019. Now, the earliest hell be eligible for parole is 2023.
Oscar Pistorius sits in the dock during his sentencing hearing at North Gauteng High Court on June 13, 2016 in Pretoria.
The ruling could finally bring an end to the near five-year legal saga surrounding Pistorius, a multiple Paralympic champion and record-breaker who was the first amputee to run at the Olympics and one of the most celebrated sportsmen in the world.
Steenkamps parents, Barry and June, were emotional as they watched Seriti deliver the verdict live on television at their home, family lawyer Tania Koen said.
They feel there has been justice for Reeva. She can now rest in peace, Koen told The Associated Press.
But at the same time, people must realise that people think this is the end of the road for them. the fact is they still live with Reevas loss every day..
Pistorius killed Steenkamp in the pre-dawn hours of Valentines Day 2013 after shooting four times through a closed toilet cubicle door with his 9 mm pistol.
He claimed he mistook the 29-year-old model and reality TV star for an intruder and was initially convicted of manslaughter by trial judge Thokozile Masipa.
That conviction was overturned and replaced with a murder conviction by the Supreme Court in 2015. Pistorius was then sentenced to six years for murder by Masipa, a decision also now rejected by the Supreme Court.
Prosecutors called the six-year sentence much too lenient and the Supreme Court agreed, saying in a full written ruling released later that the sentence of six years imprisonment is shockingly lenient to a point where it has the effect of trivialising this serious offence.
The Supreme Court said that Pistorius displays a lack of remorse, and does not appreciate the gravity of his actions. Pistorius brother, Carl, wrote on Twitter: Shattered. Heartbroken. Gutted. A spokesman for the Pistorius family didnt answer calls from the AP.
Pistorius should have been sentenced to the prescribed minimum of 15 years for murder, Seriti said, as he delivered the verdict of a panel of five judges at the Supreme Court in the central city of Bloemfontein.
There is no death penalty in South Africa. The new sentence of 13 years and five months took into account the one year and seven months Pistorius served in prison and under house arrest after his manslaughter conviction.
The new sentence was backdated to start on the day he began his murder sentence, on July 6 last year.
Supreme Court judges are generally reluctant to change sentences handed down by trial courts, and its rare for them to change one so dramatically.
I did not expect the Supreme Court of Appeal to hand down such a lengthy sentence of imprisonment, legal analyst Ulrich Roux said on the eNCA news channel.
But, if one looks at what the law states, and given the fact that murder does carry the minimum sentence of 15 years in prison, I think the decision could be vindicated..
Pistorius must serve at least half of the 13 years and five months - nearly seven years - before he can be considered for parole. He has served a year and five months of his murder sentence.
Pistorius, who turned 31 on Wednesday, is being held at the Atteridgeville Correctional Centre on the outskirts of the South African capital, Pretoria, and did not attend any of the appeal hearings.
Fridays decision also has possible consequences for where he is held for the remainder of his sentence.
Pistorius was moved from the high security Kgosi Mampuru II Prison in central Pretoria to Atteridgeville, which houses prisoners sentenced to six years or less. Pistorius might now be moved back to a higher security facility.
Pistorius lawyers have one avenue left open to them if they want to challenge the new sentence, and that is to appeal to the Constitutional Court, the highest court in South Africa.
Pistorius failed with an appeal to the Constitutional Court last year to challenge his murder conviction.
