Rio Ferdinand tells Romelu Lukaku to 'fight' Zlatan Ibrahimovic for Manchester United spot

Romelu Lukaku has been sent a message by Rio Ferdinand (Picture: Getty). Rio Ferdinand has told Romelu Lukaku exactly what he must say to Zlatan Ibrahimovic following the iconic Swedes return to action at Manchester United.

Ibrahimovic came on as a second-half substitute for United in the sides 4-1 victory over Newcastle on November 18, his first appearance for the Red Devils since April.

The striker also came off the bench in Uniteds 1-0 defeat at Basel on Wednesday night, with Lukaku failing to find the net during a difficult spell at the start of his Old Trafford career.

Following Ibrahimovics return from injury, BT Sport pundit Ferdinand said: He doesn't lack confidence or an ego and that's probably part of his makeup and what makes him what he is.

He's a phenomenal talent, the consistency of which he has been at the top of the game commands respect, deserves respect.

I think he's going to lift this squad and I think he's going to have games and moments where he decides games and it's about sharing that load.

United legend Ferdinand urged Lukaku to fight Ibrahimovic for a place in Jose Mourinhos starting XI. I think Lukaku has got to bring that confidence as well, he's got to fight this guy in terms of personality and ego, he said.

He's got to say, listen, you can stand back a little bit, let me deal with this, I'm Romelu Lukaku, come for a big fee, I am capable as well and then share that load.

The Ultimate Facebook Live Formula for Business - Duration: 5:57.

today I am going to give you the Facebook live formula and if you follow

this you could get triple the amount of views that you are getting right now hi

there I'm Tracey Rose from TraceyRose.com and I got this formula from the

fabulous Chalene Johnson she is an absolute online marketing superstar but

I have added a few bonus points which I think you will find really really

helpful because by doing these extra steps I've definitely seen differences

in my video views so first of all you've got to come up with some great content

that your audience wants but the biggest thing to catch people's attention in

this world online where there's so many people vying for our attention is to

come up with a great title this can be the difference between someone watching

your video or scrolling right by now to go live go on to your profile or your

business page or maybe you're going to go live in a group wherever you intend

to go live and go to post something and click the go live option now when you

start your lensses be brief and be bright there's nothing worse than

someone waffling on and you're like next! when you are bright and happy you are

going to be high vibing and more magnetic more people are going to watch

your video for sure now you're going to have to start your video strong a lot of

people don't do this because they were my thinking the live option they're kind

of waiting for more people to come on but Chalene makes a great point here the

majority of your video views are going to come after the live broadcast is

finished I'm going to add a little step here which I found super helpful

after doing videos for quite a few years in different niches follow some notes a

lot of people get rambling and waffle on or lose their whole train of thought

because they don't have some notes to follow you know put up some post-its or

even write down some notes on a notepad right it really large if you need to

follow them and tell people hey I'm following some notes here and that's

okay like people don't mind if you are following notes if you have to look down

at a point and then come back and engage with your

audience again that's totally fine but keep on track because you will keep your

audience more engaged the next point here is to interact with your audience

for the people that are live but remember not to get too distracted now

if you're really new at this or you're trying to build up your audience again

and sometimes you don't even have someone on life that's okay just pretend

you know no one's gonna really know about that or it doesn't really matter

just continue on because after you do this which I did I followed Chalene's

advice and automatically by doing these I got more engagement in my video after

doing exactly what she said the next point which a lot of people totally

forget to do is ask people to share your video say hey if you found this

information useful you know someone that this info will really help please share

this video sharing is caring people like to share if they know why they should

share it so tell them why ask people to turn on their notifications and tell

them the next time that you're going to be going live in fact this was a really

cool step that chalene had said that I had not really thought of if you tell

people the next time you're going to go live so consciously they're also going

to think about like oh that's right they're going to be live on this stage

or this time they will look out for it on their Facebook newsfeed and by

telling them hey I'm going to go live tomorrow so make sure you turn on your

notifications they're actually going to get a notification that you're alive

therefore probably be more likely to actually get on the live and watch you

and make sure you have a call to action now your call to action could actually

be the turn on new notifications or share this video but it could also be a

comment below or make sure you sign up for your free be newsletter or a free

download offer that you have whatever it is make sure you have some sort of call

to action now here are my little bonuses that I promised I would share with you

bonus tip number one is do a Facebook live with a friend so if someone in your

business or in your niche lives nearby get together and do a Facebook live

together what we see is many people doing facebook lives but

when there are two people in the video it's it's just more visually interesting

and eye catching so people are more likely likely to click on it and go hey

what are they doing now if you don't have someone nearby you don't work with

summer that's totally fine too you can do one of those combined Facebook lives

where you have a split screen you invite someone onto your facebook life I do

that with some of my work colleagues sometimes some people in my team as well

and it really is way more eye catching on people's newsfeed

so we find that a great option now bonus number two and three is really getting

your video out there after you finish the broadcast so pay Facebook to boost

it to your audience or to our new audience or just go and share that video

into some groups you can either do it yourself or get an assistant to do it

for you and get it into some groups where you know your ideal audience will

be so I hope this Facebook live formula video has been helpful now make sure you

go and follow Chalene Johnson she is an incredible online marketing superstar

and comment below or tag someone below who needs to know this helpful info for

their business let's get this video and this info out there so we can boost your

Facebook live views as well and I'll talk to you in the next video. Bye!

Manchester United can still compete for the Champions League despite Basel defeat, insists Roy Keane - Duration: 3:03.

Manchester United can still compete for the Champions League despite Basel defeat, insists Roy Keane

Manchester United are good enough to compete with the best sides in the Champions League this year despite their disappointing defeat against Basel on Wednesday night, according to former captain Roy Keane.

Jose Mourinho's side were four wins from four going into the game but slipped to a 1-0 defeat after Michael Lang's took advantage of some slack defending from Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind to tuck away the winner in the 89th minute.

That leaves them needing to avoid a 6-0 defeat at home to CSKA Moscow in a fortnight's time in order to qualify, with a point guaranteeing them top spot in the group.

Didn't have a shot to save in the first half but was equal to almost everything thrown at him after the break as Basel improved vastly.

AFP/Getty Images 3/11 Chris Smalling – 7 A good leader for United at the back but Marcos Rojo was the visitors' stand-out defender tonight.

Man Utd via Getty Images 4/11 Marcos Rojo – 8 Almost gave United the lead when his deflected effort from distance cannoned off the crossbar just before half-time and came up with a vital block from Dimitri Oberlin's close-range effort after the break.

Man Utd via Getty Images 5/11 Daley Blind – 6 Almost culpable for a Basel opener as he was shrugged aside far too easily by Michael Lang, who got up above the Dutchman to head against the crossbar.

Man Utd via Getty Images 6/11 Ander Herrera – 6 The only midfielder who showed any defensive discipline in the second half.

AFP/Getty Images 7/11 Marouane Fellaini – 6 Had three good headed opportunities in the first half but couldn't convert any of them.

AFP/Getty Images 8/11 Jesse Lingard – 4 Flashes of brilliance in the first half but, like the majority of his teammates, faded badly after the break.

Man Utd via Getty Images 9/11 Paul Pogba – 6 Decent but nothing like the level of performance he delivered on Saturday against Newcastle. Subbed.

Man Utd via Getty Images 10/11 Anthony Martial – 5 Flashes of brilliance in the first half but, like the majority of his teammates, faded badly after the break.

Man Utd via Getty Images 11/11 Romelu Lukaku – 5 Had one chance all game and fluffed his lines. Like Lingard, was barely involved. Man Utd via Getty Images  .

However, Keane, who is so often one of the club's harshest critics, believes United have the squad to compete with Europe's best this season, even though the bookmakers only make them sixth-favourites to lift the trophy for the first time since 2008.

"The big plus for United is that their form has been that good in the Champions League that they gave themselves room to slip up tonight," Keane told ITV. Who can the English teams draw in the Champions League last 16?.

"When United have their strongest team out, they will compete with a lot of the teams in Europe. There are five or six players that played tonight that wont be in their strongest team.

"Mourinho is looking at the bigger picture – forget about tonight and move on. Theyll be competing to win this title without a doubt.".

Runny Nose Remedy - Home Remedies for Your Child's Runny Nose - Duration: 4:32.

Home Remedies for Your Childs Runny Nose 1.

Saline Rinse

For an adult or child, a saline rinse is one of the best home remedies for a runny nose.

A saline rinse helps loosen up mucus, making it easier and more comfortable to expel.

It even clears the nasal passages of irritants and helps your child breathe through the nose.

Make the saline solution by mixing teaspoon of table salt in a cup of bolied water which

has been cooled to room temperature.

Put a few drops of the solution into one of the nostrils, while tipping your childs

head backwards.

Immediately suck out the excess mucus using a bulb syringe, while closing the other nostril

with one of your fingers.

Repeat the procedure with the other nostril.

Use this remedy up to 3 times a day, but not more than that.

If you find it difficult, do not hesitate to get help from others.

2.

Steam

Inhaling steam helps ease the discomfort of a runny nose.

It clears out the excess mucus that causes the dripping and sneezing.

It will also help your child sleep better, which is important for faster recovery.

For very small children, turn the bathroom into a steam room by closing the door and

turning the shower on full hot.

Take your child into the bathroom and sit there with your child for 10 to 15 minutes.

Do this 2 or 3 times a day.

For older children, you can opt to use a facial steamer.

Sit with your child on your lap and lean over a bowl of hot water with a towel over your

head to trap the steam.

Ask your child to breathe in the steam for 5 to 10 minutes, then ask him or her to blow

their nose.

Do this a few times a day.

3.

Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus can also help reduce a runny nose and associated symptoms in children.

It works as a decongestant, which makes it easier for your child to get rid of mucus.

eucalyptus oil for child's runny nose

Put 4 or 5 drops of eucalyptus oil in warm bath water for your child.

Let your child enjoy the bath for 10 minutes.

Repeat twice daily.

Alternatively, mix 10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil in cup of warm extra-virgin

olive oil.

Give your child a gentle chest massage with this aromatic oil, especially before his or

her bedtime.

4.

Basil

Another good herbal remedy for a childs runny nose is basil.

It has antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties that help fight the cause of the

runny nose.

It even builds your childs immunity.

For young children, give a few basil leaves with a little jaggery to eat two times per

day.

For older children, give some fresh basil leaves to chew before breakfast every morning

and before going to bed at night.

Alternatively, extract 1 tablespoon of juice from fresh basil leaves.

Mix the basil juice with equal amounts of ginger juice, lemon juice and honey.

Give your child this mixture 2 or 3 times a day.

5.

Honey

Honey is another effective remedy for a runny nose in a child who is 2 years of age or older.

For small children, honey should not be used as it may cause a bacteria that causes botulism.

honey for runny nose in children

The soothing, antibacterial and antiviral properties of honey help reduce the various

symptoms of a runny nose.

It even helps treat coughing and a sore throat.

Mix 1 to 2 teaspoons of raw honey in a glass of warm water.

Give this to your child to drink twice a day.

Alternatively, mix 1 tablespoon of honey and teaspoon of fresh lemon juice in a glass

of warm water.

Give it to your child to drink while it is still warm.

Repeat twice daily.

6.

Chamomile

For babies who are at least 1 year old, the herb chamomile can relieve the symptoms and

discomfort of a runny nose.

This herb is an immune booster.

It also reduces sneezing due to its excellent antihistamine properties.

Put 1 teaspoon of dried chamomile flowers in 2 cups of boiling water.

Cover and steep for 5 minutes.

Add some honey for taste.

Give this mild tea to your sick child twice daily.

Second City launches improv class specifically for teenage girls - Duration: 7:28.

Second City launches improv class specifically for teenage girls

Comedian Stacey McGunnigle says its hard to be confident when youre a teenage girl.

Youre so concerned about what people think, she says, recalling how self-conscious and awkward she felt as a teenager. And I didnt even have the internet then, she adds. I can only imagine what its like now..

McGunnigles desire to arm teenage girls with boldness and self-confidence is what led her to develop Empower-Prov, a new improv comedy class at Torontos Second City aimed specifically at girls between grades 9 and 12.

I think its just putting that tool in the toolbox young and early, about being confident, stepping forward, trusting your instincts, trusting your gut, she says.

McGunnigle, a Second City alumna, says the skills she learned improvising -- being quick, resourceful, self-assured -- have helped her outside of the comedy world.

Knowing who you are and knowing your voice is so crucial, especially with women, she says. Walking into a room and knowing your value, and knowing your boundaries, and knowing whats appropriate and whats not appropriate..

She says she expects an all-female space will allow students to be more open and collaborative than they might be in a coed class, where in her experience, male voices are often the loudest.

Even in teen classes Ive taught before, its the guys who will say stuff first, she says. in the back, taking it all in, before saying anything. This course is like, no, be bold. And feel like thats OK..

Its not just teenagers who are benefiting from classes designed specifically for a female experience.

Vancouver comedian Amy Shostak ran a one-day improv workshop for women last year that was so successful its coming back as a four-part class at Blind Tiger Comedy.

She says there are several reasons why many women are seeking out classes designed specifically for them.

In addition to the benefits of building new skills in a comfortable environment, a women-only class also provides an opportunity to talk about tactics for dealing with uncomfortable situations onstage.

The thing about improv is, its in the moment, Shostak says.

When I was kind of coming up, there were lots of moments onstage where I would get offstage and feel like: I really wish I could have done something in that moment..

She remembers one instance early in her career when a male improv performer called for a doctor, and when she walked onstage, he said, Nurse, could you go get the doctor? She was shocked, and didnt know what else to do but to go get someone else.

That moment, I always reflect on it and think, what could I have said? Shostak says.

I could have said, You dont know me, I am the doctor. Or I could have said, You dont need a doctor, Im a nurse, its a routine flu shot. There are ways that I could have probably held on to that space, but I just didnt know how..

One of the core principles in improv is agreeing with someone elses premise, which can make it hard to set boundaries. But there are some ways to say yes to an offer and still maintain your dignity, she says.

But she also teaches her students that its OK to sometimes just say no.

Once, during an improv game where someone from the audience comes onstage and moves the performers around like puppets, an audience member repeatedly tried to push Shostak onto her knees in front of a male performer.

In that moment, I just had to physically resist, she says. I was like: Im not doing that..

Amanda Scriver, who took a women-only standup class at Torontos Comedy Bar this summer, says she sought out a female environment because she wanted a place where she felt comfortable doing something she describes as new and terrifying.

Comedy, that is the most vulnerable and terrifying you can get, she says. Its just you, and some lights, and a microphone, and a stage.

Scriver says she felt comfortable in her vulnerability because the class was a supportive environment, both in terms of guidance from instructor Jess Beaulieu and from her classmates.

They all worked together to develop their joke-writing skills, and were able to workshop their material with each other. I feel like oftentimes women are more gentle to one another in offering criticism, but also lending support for one another, Scriver says.

Another benefit of a female space, she says, are the topics they covered in class. I dont think that if I was in a coed comedy group I could have opened up about the self-image issues that I have, she says.

Women in the group felt safe talking about body image and sexual assault. That wouldnt be impossible in a mixed-gender class, Scriver says, but she doesnt think she would feel as comfortable.

That level of comfort makes a big difference in developing skills as a comedian, Shostak adds. The audience can feel how you feel, so if theres a moment where they see you shrink or back-off onstage, they do notice that, she says.

If someones feeling not their best, then their comedy isnt at their best, and thats probably why people say women arent funny.

Theyve seen a single woman in an improv troupe be diminished, or the audience perception of them is bad. But I think its because they havent been lifted up or given the space..
