My name is Johan Johan Van Aarde I am a business mentor and social entrepreneur what we do
is we help people get more leads online recruit more leaders in their companies
organizations and by coaching branding and providing products and of course we
help them outsource their busy tasks today we are talking about high
performance habits the book from Brendon Burchard I am on the 3rd and
high-performance habit to which is to raise necessity we are going to talk
about some of the key features of high performers how they do raise the
necessity why they do have a necessity to perform and answering the big
question of if they are just passionate which is good or are they are they
obsessed
So you might find this really really interesting I should really adjust my
light a bit here so in this book Brendon Burchard talks about necessity the
high performance habit number three the first the second one was to generate
energy and the first one was to seek clarity and establish your vision and
therefore I wanna let you know that what will help you a lot with clarity is my
daily four-step aloha laptop lifestyle cheat sheet it is the four steps and I
followed and still follow on a daily basis to help me find the clarity a
vision and to be a high performer and and be happy in what I do so when we
talk about high performance I'm gonna read a few things from the book to you
that I found that was really really outstanding in the chapter on to raise
the necessity first of all you know Albert Einstein said only one who
devotes himself to a cause with his whole strength and soul can be a true
master for this reason mastery demands all of a person it's pretty profound
coming from one of the wisest men that we know are most intelligent people now
performance necessity is the emotional drive that makes great performance a
must instead of a preference unlike weaker desires that want you to do
something necessity demands that you take action people feel a deep emotional
drive and commitment to succeeding and focus and it forces them to work hard
and stay disciplined so Leonardo da Vinci said necessity is
the mistress and guide of nature necessity is the theme and inventress
of nature our curb ever eternal law typically Da Vinci style but so
profound right and so true so and Vince Lombardi coach of the Packers one of the
most successful teams at that time one of the most well known football coaches
sports coaches of any time said that the quality of a person's life is in direct
proportion to their commitment to excellence regardless of their chosen
field of endeavor so that's why performance necessity had to raise the
necessity is such a high part and an important factor for high performers
they care more about excellence and put more effort into their activities than
others do they know that they not just have high standard to excel but they
check in through the day and through the week to see if they are living up to
those standards another couple things to mention is that
they you know in an ad talking about self monitoring if you're not self
monitoring you'll be less consistent in advance more slowly that's why you need
to have goals you need to say targets you need to set deadlines and you also
need to be you know I will get journaling you know and measure yourself
where you act you know look at the numbers but if there's no numbers look
at your feelings how you feel are you fulfilled and those come show up very
well in your in your journal so those are just some of the things
that I wanted to share with you first now guys I wish you all a really really
happy Thanksgiving I'm so grateful for all of you and I appreciate every single
one of you be more than you can be than what you are now and love your family
and your friends in the day of Thanksgiving tomorrow for those of you
around the world that don't celebrate Thanksgiving just think for a moment of
who you are thankful for who you appreciate and reach out to a couple
people on social media or in person or by text and call them up or call them up

call us in a text and say I really appreciate you alright guys take care
