This is the last place Elizabeth Mercado thought she would be.

story apartment building.

The fire displaced dozens of families, and their property and personal belongings are

now either destroyed or missing…their sense of community broken in this building - inhabited

primarily by immigrants from the Dominican Republic.

Elizabeth and her family were placed – temporarily, in a hotel – in Brooklyn.

"MY GRANDSON GOES TO SCHOOL HERE.

SO WE HAVE TO HAVE AN HOUR AND A HALF COMMUTE TO GET HIM TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY.

IT'S TOUGH."

Adriano Espaillat – the first Dominican-American elected to Congress, stopped by to offer kind

words and assistance to his constituents – many of whom are now worried about missing documents

that prove their immigration status.

This lady on the beach came up to me and said, Could you keep you and your kids quiet? Its a very quiet peaceful beach, she recalled. Bitch, what?! Theyre 4 and 5. Weve been nothing but respectful.

I told her, Well, why are you always sitting next to me? Move your f--king chair to the other end of the beach. So you guys want to know how Ive manifested this amazing life, and have an amazing husband, six healthy, beautiful children? Its because of who the f--k I am and how I treat people.

The Trump administration and the United States military has been bringing the fight to the

Islamic State group and shutting them down in an epic way.

Now, those remaining in the terrorist organization have called for revenge in a truly sickening

way.

Pro-Islamic State group websites have called for the assassination of President Donald

Trump's 11-year-old son, Barron, according to The Washington Free Beacon.

A call to action translated by The Middle East Media Research Institute and spread via

the widely used Telegram app urges militants to assassinate the youngest Trump son, according

to The Daily Wire.

The initial message on Nov. 21 "called for the assassination of Barron Trump, and shared

the name of the school that Barron attends along with a Google map pinpointing its location,"

MEMRI reported via The Free Beacon.

"Using the hashtag 'handle the son of the mule of America,' the supporter, who

uses the name 'Dak Al-Munafiqeen,' Arabic for 'striking the hypocrites,' wrote:

'Barron Trump goes to this school in Washington,'" MEMRI continued.

"The post was followed by a photo of Barron Trump," Memri went on.

"To widely disseminate the call for assassination, several pro-ISIS Telegram channels have shared

and forwarded the post."

Although a call to violence against the child of President Trump is unconscionable, given

the Islamic State group's barbaric history, and the fact that their precious, so-called

caliphate completely collapsed in the Middle East, it is hardly a surprise that they want

to hit back.

They're not above targeting children.

However, don't get too worried.

Odds of their success are slim.

Although the Islamic State group could conceivably put a presence within the United States, whoever

wants to harm the first family would have to get through the Secret Service.

If there were a fight between those two parties, I wouldn't be putting my money on the team

that couldn't even keep their Middle Eastern territory intact.

Those whose job it is to ensure the safety of the first family are no doubt well aware

of the situation, and are taking any and all appropriate countermeasures.

Nevertheless, we'll definitely be saying a prayer for young Barron.

It's not easy going through trials like these, especially for such a young child.

They have violated the rights of the people by ruling practically forever.

A small group of people have all the power, underming their laws and constitutions.

Many nations have suffered economic, political, and social ruin because of this.

But the good news is, for one nation, that nightmare is close to an end.

Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe has resigned, bringing an end to 37 years of rule and sparking

jubilant celebrations in the nation's streets.

A letter from Mr Mugabe read out by the speaker of parliament said the decision was voluntary

and he had made it to allow a smooth transfer of power.

The news abruptly halted an impeachment hearing that had begun against him.

The ruling Zanu-PF party says former vice-president Emmerson Mnangagwa will succeed Mr Mugabe,

in power since 1980…

Mr Mugabe, 93, was until his resignation the world's oldest leader.

He had previously refused to quit despite last week's military takeover and days of

protests…

He presided over a deepening economic crisis in Zimbabwe, where people are on average 15%

poorer now than they were in 1980.

However, Mr Mugabe was not forced out after decades in power by a popular mass movement

but rather as a result of political splits within his Zanu-PF party.

The leader of the influential liberation war veterans – former allies of Mr Mugabe – said

after the army takeover that Mr Mugabe was a "dictator", who "as he became old,

surrendered his court to a gang of thieves around his wife".

Rumors abounded that the 93-year-old tyrant was paving the way for his wife to take over

the office.

Hmm, a corrupt leader swapping roles with his wife?

Where have we heard that before?

It's clear that Mugabe's wife was influencing the old man for her own gain.

If she had taken over, Mugabe would have died (mysteriously) and she would begin her decades-long

rule over the nation.

With Mugabe out, perhaps democracy can take over.

Zimbabwe can enjoy freedom as its citizen elect the right leaders for its nation.

But notice it took serious intervention—with help from the military—to remove him from

power.

That's what happens when you let power-hungry, corrupt politicians into office.

They never let go.

In fact, we see that kind of thing all the time in America.

Congressional seats have no term limits, after all.
