Thankful for Changes - Duration: 2:50.

Hi friends! It's Thanksgiving this week and instead of just talking about

all the things that I'm grateful for of which I have many things to be grateful

for I want to specifically focus on the ways in which my life has changed that

I'm grateful for. This year was a difficult year for me it's not over yet

but it was definitely a year of big changes in my life and I think some of

those changes um, were not of my choosing and some of them

were but I think of all of the changes that happened this year I would say this

has been the first year that I've really been able to focus on not just surviving

and focus on becoming my truest self and figuring out exactly who that is and

being proud of who that is scars and all I don't actually have...

well I have scars but you know what I mean, just you know, the good parts and the bad parts of

me. I am proud of of me in totality and that's a big deal. I'm thankful for the

changes in my family no new members of my family or anything have happened just

the way in which I am honest and open with my husband the way that my

relationship has changed with my mother recently, with my brother as well and the

amount of time that I'm taking with my kids. I don't have as much with my new

job but I'm using that time more wisely, if that's a thing I can say then I ever

did before. So I'm thankful for the way that my family has changed. I'm thankful

I have so many people that love me, that genuinely care about me and that showed

me not just with words but with actions

that they love me, they support me regardless of, you know, who I am and

who I am becoming.

This year has been a year of changes a lot of changes and a lot of

pretty big changes in my life and it happened gradually over the course of

this year but I have a lot to be grateful for.

Personally, it's my favorite holiday because no gifts just food and I get to

be with people that I love.

Upgrading and Expanding Living Spaces for People with Developmental Disabilities - Duration: 0:44.

[Minister of Education, Mitzie Hunter]: Without sufficient resources and investments, our school systems could not function in the way that it does.

[TITLE: Students learn best when teachers can create one-on-one connections, especially in the early years.] So today I am happy to announce that Ontario is increasing its investments in students and schools. This coming school year total education funding will increase to 23.8 billion dollars.

[TITLE: Now that Ontario has extended labour agreements that ensure stability in schools, the province is reducing class sizes for full-day kindergarten and grades 4-8.] And I am so pleased to say that per pupil funding will also rise by $432 on average to $12,100 per student.

[TITLE: The province supporting hiring approximately 875 teachers 1,600 education workers to support students with special education needs and other students at risk.] This growth in funding reflects our government's commitment to give schools and school boards and students the resources and the support that they need.
