Today on next steps we're asking the question. What is God's will for my life?

Hey, I'm Elliott one of the ministers here at Swiss Cove Christian Church.

Welcome to our channel, where our goal is to help you take your next step of faith.

We hope you find this helpful. If you do, like and subscribe for more videos like this one.

God's will can seem like a confusing thing.

What does God want me to do

Does he want me to take this job

or wait for a different one? Which college does he want me to go to? Is it God's will for me to marry this person?

These are questions. We've probably

asked or will ask ourselves at some point.

I'm not here to downplay them, but I not sure they're the right questions.

I'm convinced God cares much more about the kind of person you're becoming than just about anything else.

For example, I'm not sure God cares whether you go to the University of Florida

or Florida State as much as He cares about the kind of person you'll be when you step on campus.

That being said there are some parts of God's will that are very clear. No matter

who you are or what your skill-set is God wants you to do this:

Help someone take their next step of faith. Before Jesus left, He gave specific instructions to his followers.

He told them in Matthew 28:19-20 to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations.

He told them to teach them to obey everything He had commanded. He promised them that if they did these things,

He (Jesus) would be with them always to the very end of the age.

He wants you to do the same thing.

He wants you to help someone take their next step of faith.

And what that looks like in your life will likely look different than it does in mine, and that's okay.

We're not all expected to help in the same way,

but we are all expected to help. So whether you're a student a CEO or somewhere in between ask yourself this question:

Who can I help? If you'll answer that question, then act on the answer you will be

fulfilling the will of God for your life.

How can you help someone take their next step of faith?

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Leave them in the comments below. You can catch up with me on social,

I'd love to get to know you better. I hope this has been helpful.
