Hello nice to meet you, I'm Momotaro
I am usually working as genderless model and dancer
I am a back dancer for various dancers
choreographer for others,
and dance instructor
The makeup I did this time is called men's makeup
I did a makeup which even boys will look natural
So
The circle lens are white color from Charme
14.3mm
It's not a really big size
I am using one without any rims
If I use too much of a big one, the guy's look will be gone
so I'm using the smallest size possible
Since my eye color is black
I try to use a bright color which has white as much as possible
For the base makeup
LANOA mineral CC cream
SPF50+ PA++++ is what I'm using
It moisturizes well so,
I have a mixed skin so on the dried skin part
I'm using LANOA mineral CC cream
To avoid having too much makeup look
so I'm using a thin layer base
The other base is
Sofina primavista SPF 20/ PA ++
is what I use
This is used for anti glare
so on the Tzone and the chin where it glares
These parts I apply
so that the foundation later will not come off
Next is the concealer
Mayelline Master camouflage duo green medium beige
This is the concealer
This has two colors in it
For my reddish skin I wil use the green
This is to hide the acne
I would add the beige over it
and blend it in will erase the acne marks
so it's easy to cover
Next is CANMAKE highlighter 01
using as a highlighter
On the Tzone and the high part of the cheeks
On the triangular zone
The part where you want strong feature and the tip of the chin
Usually people would put highlighter after the foundation
But for men's makeup, having glitter makes it too feminine
The order for men's makeup is base, highlighter, and foundation
By adding foundation above, you can erase the glitter
but still works as a highlilghter
It makes the high part look higher
so the order is reverse
The next foundation is
Chacott for professionals
enriching creamy foundation 833
This covers quite well, and since I sweat a lot
so I use one strong against sebum
but I also have to worry about dryness so I will have to think about balance
so I'm adjusting with base
The dryness is less, and it won't easily glare
It's strong against sweat, and doesn't come off so I like it
For Men's makeup I have to be careful about getting too thick
so I will use this sponge
I will spread it out
I will start with the parts I haven't added the highlighter
then add to the part over the highlighter
I try to add on so it won't look so much like foundation
I'm using this concealer again
On parts where the foundation could not cover, I will cover it up
You wouldn't need it on the parts where you had covered well on the first try
so adding only to parts which was left out or you feel was left out
Next is powder foundation
Chacott for professionals finishing powder 761
The color is natural
This is also for anti-sebum
On parts you wouldn't want the sweat running
Since I have mixed skin, I would add powder on the Tzone
and use for anti sebum
Next is countouring
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural
Medium Deep, it's a face powder
This is used on parts where you want shadow
By contouring on the face line and the cheek bones,
the chin will look sharper
So to cover the round shape which looks feminine
to make it look masculine
To have some square shape, I am contouring
Next is this Shiseido Baby Powder pressed
This is a baby powder
When you add the foundation to the neck, it gets on the clothes
To avioid having different color for the face and the neck,
to give some whitness to the neck
so using the baby powder
Usually after using the powder foundation
I would use this baby powder and then go to contouring
I misplaced the order
Using the face powder on the forehead, nose and chin,
and contouring with this
The order is a bit different,
This contouring. I add the previous one on the face line and the cheekbones
Next is adding shadow to the neck line
Adding a lot here,
and under the chin
Places where you want it dark, I'm putting a lot
Making it square will give some masculine look
excel styling powder eyebrow
The color in SE03
I am using this on the eye makeup on this part
Using the top three to fill in the whole eyelid on this part
Adding the base here
Adding to the nose continuing from the eyebrows
Adding to the nose
I would use one, two and three of these
For the nose I will use quite a lot on the bottom of the nose in a cross shape
Filling in the nostril part
When I blend it out, I try not to forget to blend out the nose part
Next is the eye shadow
By using the dark color on top
Adding to the double eyelid, a bit narrow
I am using the cosmetic chip to apply it
I would blend it out with the fingers so it won't be like an eyeliner
I would make only this part dark
Trying not to stick out too much from the eyes
Trying to make it not look like a makeup
but still trying to make these parts dark
Adding on
Shiseido eyebrows pencil no.3
Using the brown color
Using on the eyebrows. Since I have a short one
so I would only add to the outer corner
Using the excel powder eyebrow again
The eyebrows should stay thin colored as possible
The bangs will overlap, so when the eyebrows are thick, it will stick out too much
so using these bottom two colors
and use just to fill in the color of the eyebrows
Next is the eyebrows mascara
KISS ME heavy rotation yellow brown, the lightest color
I would fill in the color of the eyebrows
I will try to make the eyebrows thin color as possible not to make it stand out
The reason to make the eyebrows thin is because the hair color is light
Aligning to the light color, I'm making the eyebrows light as possible
Finally I would use the eyebrow pencil to add in the parts that is lacking color
and the eyebrows are done
The Eyeliner
D'UP Silky Liquid Eyeliner
Color brown black
The reason not to use black is, black is too heavy
so the brown black color is just about right
This is used on the edge of the eyes
Sticking just a little bit out of the corner
Only on the outer corner, not on the top
Adding only to the outer corner for 1cm
in length
Adding a bit, going along the eye shape drawing a straight line
Adding some extension line to the inner corner will make the eyes look sharper
Adding just a little bit to make the size a bit wider
I am not using it as an eyeliner to circle around or draw the line
Adding only to the inner and outer corner
Using the eyebrow pencil before to draw the eyebags
For the eyebags, it is the part where it becomes plump when I smile
Pull the line and spread with the cotton swab
Spreading with the cotton swab will also spread the foundation
so I would hold down a little with my finger and blend it out
Maybelline Volume Express Magnum Big Shot
in color 01 black
For men's makeup I want to keep the mascara toned down as possible
When I add the top mascara, the eyelashes will curl making it feminine
so for the top, I would barely touch it
But since I have my own image that men's eyelashes are strong on the bottom
so adding a lot to the bottom lashes
So when you add mascara, the top is 1, while the bottom is many
That is how it's done. No eyeliner but using mascara instead
Finally the lipstick Nivea Natural Color lip
Bright up Apricot Pink
To make a healthy looking skin
Adding very slightly
When I add lip gloss, it will look feminine
so adding to the bottom and putting the lips together
When it is shining, holding it down with tissue paper
just to add a little color
The wax I used for the setting the hair is
Gatsby Moving Rubber
Spiky edgy
It is separated with color and this is the hardest one
The texture is a bit soft
It is useful for people with short hair
For long hair, it will be too heavy
so when you want pointy hair or want to add volume, this wax would be good
How was the men's makeup?
It was a light makeup which even men can do
and also for girls who want to look a bit boyish
When a girl wants to dress up looking like a boy
There are times when I wear stylish clothes
but I think the key is not showing your body shape as possible
Wearing oversized clothes
Wearing stacked shoes to make you look taller
If you work on those parts, it would be good
