Messi is exciting, but it'd be a huge shock, if United sanctioned the sale of one of their

  Jose Mourinho admitted that he may not have his ideal side at his disposal when Manchester United open their Premier League campaign on Friday.

United's roller-coaster pre-season ended in defeat on Sunday when Javi Martinez's second-half header earned Bayern Munich a 1-0 victory at the Allianz Arena.

Spain international Martinez nodded in from a corner on 59 minutes as the German champions overcame a lacklustre display from Mourinho's side who face Leicester City at home on Friday.

"In the week, we have to organise the week in a way so we can be fresh for Friday because, on Friday, the Premier League starts.

We play for points and it's with the players we have," Mourinho told MUTV.

"There is no time to cry.

Players are not going to be here on Friday and we have to go with best possible team and with a great mentality." Mourinho still remains hopeful of strengthening his side in the transfer window before the August 9 deadline, with Brazil international midfielder Fred the club's top signing this summer.

"My CEO knows what I want for quite a long time," Mourinho told German TV ahead of Sunday's game.

"I know he tries to do the best for me, and I still have a few days to wait and see what is going to happen." Marcus Rashford and Victor Lindelof returned for United on Sunday after their post-World Cup break, although the visitors lost Eric Bailly to injury after the interval following a collision with Serge Gnabry.

The players were, once more, brilliant, they could not have done better than what they did," added Mourinho to MUTV.

Rashford wore the number 10 shirt, previously the Old Trafford property of the likes of Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Manchester United have rejected an offer for Paul Pogba from Barcelona of £45m plus Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes, according to Sky in Italy.

The news follows earlier reports suggesting Pogba's agent Mino Raiola had travelled to Manchester in an attempt to force through a move to the Spanish champions for the French midfielder.

But United apparently have no desire to part with Pogba, who has just returned to training after winning the World Cup with France.

The 25-year-old signed for United in 2016 - for a then-world record £93.

25m - and has three years left on his contract.

Even if United had been minded to sell, the Premier League transfer deadline is on Thursday, giving them just two days to secure a high-profile replacement.

The Spanish window does not close until August 31, meaning Barcelona have until the end of the month to try and sign Pogba in this window.

And Barca may have been hoping that the inclusion of Mina in their offer might induce United to make a deal.

The Old Trafford club have reportedly been in the market for a centre-back this summer and have been linked with several players, including Mina, a 23-year-old Colombia international and Leicester defender Harry Maguire.

Gomes is a Portugal midfielder with 29 caps who has been linked with a move to West Ham.

He moved to Barcelona from Valencia in 2016 but has failed to secure a regular starting berth.

questions brought by the media when CNN's Jim Acosta attempted to ask a question.

At that point, President Trump pointed the reporter in front of Acosta.

"John Roberts, go ahead, John," Trump said.

"May I ask you a question?"

Acosta interjected.

"No, John Roberts go ahead," Trump repeated.

"CNN is fake news.

I don't take questions from CNN.

CNN is fake news."

"Let's go to a real network," Trump added.

President Trump and CNN have a longstanding feud with CNN consistently delivering what

many conservatives consider to be negative and even deceptive coverage of the Trump White

House and President Trump calling them out from behind microphones across the country,

and now the world.

Fellow CNN regular and anchor Jake Tapper weighed in on the exchange via Twitter, saying,

"Old enough to remember when other networks came to the defense of Fox News WH correspondents

during the Obama years.

Such did not happen here.

Lesson for the kids out there: no one should ever try to do the right thing with the expectation

it will ever be reciprocated."

While Tapper's children's lesson may have been a needful one, it won't be going to

nearly as many people as whatever lesson Fox decides to teach.

A recent reporting of viewers shows that CNN's numbers are plummeting, even coming in behind

HGTV and the History Channel in primetime viewing.

They came in seventh in total views and was beat out by Nickelodeon and others.

So, this situation applies most commonly to students

who hold a Student Visa and are studying in Australia.

There's still some time to go to complete your studies

and in turn, there's still some time

until your Student Visa is expiring.

So, a lot of students ask if they're applying

for a Partner Visa while holding a Student Visa,

after applying for the Partner Visa,

can they stop studying?

Well, the answer to that is it's really up to you.

What's important to remember is

that while holding a Student Visa,

while that Student Visa is still VALID,

you need to follow the conditions of that Student Visa.

That usually means that you need to go to school.

You need to remain enrolled.

You need to keep your attendance up.

You need to pass your subjects among other things.

If you stop studying and stop following

the rules of your Visa,

you may find yourself in a situation

where you have Visa cancellation

or you end up without a Student Visa

which can lead to being on what's called

a Bridging Visa E.

So, my advice in most situations

is to make sure that you can, if you are lodging

a Partner Visa, afford

to continue with your studies as well.

It is a complex situation

and it can potentially lead to Visa cancellation,

it's really important that you get one-on-one advice

before making any big decisions

about lodging a Partner Visa

or stopping your studies.
