good morning today I'm trying out the freshlook colorblends in gemstone
green and I'm also doing this eye look to complement green eyes so I got these for
24,95 euro of Amazon I got them in the strength minus 6.5 because I am as blind as
a bat and they look great in the packaging so I hope they're great in
real life as well let me put that in
yeah they're so soft that sometimes I have a difficulty getting them in my eye
how does that look I think it looks really green you can definitely still see the
inside of my blue eye there but it looks super super green that's amazing but
same as the other ones that I tried there is like a fogginess over my eye
that doesn't seem to go away let me put the other one in last time somebody
complained it was too dark and you couldn't really see so I hope the lighting situation
is better now and you can actually see the color change I think it looks pretty
amazing they are comfortable to wear it's really just the sight issue so I'm going
to do a checkup a little later to tell you how they wear but now let me show
you how I made this eye look to make the green eyes pop I've already prepped my
eye with the Mac Paint Pot in soft ochre and then I set that all with the Laura
Mercier loose setting powder in translucent now I'm going to take this
wave a caramel melange palette and I'm gonna go in with universal delight I'm
taking this on a morphe R40 and I'm just gonna put this all above my
crease and please excuse that I have black on my eye and this is a dark lash
glue that you just can't get off so that's just gonna be there sorry we'll
try and cover it anyways
this is a great transition color if you don't know what a transition color is
it's basically just to make that gradient between a darker color and the
color that you're highlighting with or your brow bone color to make that a lot
easier so you don't have to do as much blending and it is not a harsh line and
it doesn't go from very light to very dark depending on what you have on your
lid using a brush like this that is very large facilitates using this so so much I
cannot recommend it enough because all you have to do is really go back and
forth sometimes do a little circular motions but the brushes will be doing
everything for you now I'm going in with the color aftertaste and I'm placing
this on about half of my eye above the crease and also in the outer V I'm using
a 221 luxe soft crease from zoeva for this this is just a slightly smaller
blending brush but it's still quite large so I still get that very diffused
look I'm going to take some off inglot's duraline just a drop and add some of the
loose pigment from Mac in old gold on a synthetic brush this is the Mac 242 I'm
placing this on about 2/3 of my movable lid
this is a really nice dark gold shade that reflects green so I feel like it goes
really well with the green contact lenses it just makes that green and the
eye shadows stand out a little more and try to bring it up a little bit in my
crease here nothing too crazy not like a cut crease or anything just a little
bit up so my semi hooded eyes are aided a little in having something visible with
this when my eyes are open from the Zoeva caramel Melange palette I'm taking
finish sensual and I'm placing this on the outer third of my lid I'm using a
Mac 217 for this also blending it a little bit into the other colors here so
using my finger to blend those two together a little better there we go and now
the darkest color edible gem also from the zoeva caramel melange palette I'm
just defining my outer V with that and I'm just going into the crease a little
bit as well
using a clean blending brush I'm just going to blend all of that together this
is the 228 luxe crease from zoeva also blending it a little out and
upwards just to avoid any harsh lines and really have this as blended as
possible and to finish the top of my eye I'm taking dazzle dust by Barry M in the
shade 27 and just taking an eyeshadow brush a flat shader brush and I'm just
wiping this on top of the old golden going a little bit into those darker
colors as well I'm using a 234 luxe smokey shader from zoeva for
this now I've just put some duraline on a pencil brush and I'm using the same
pigment to really highlight that inner corner I'm only al... also dusting a
little bit of this on my eyebrow bone highlight that and again I'm taking that
clean blending brush to blend that all together for my waterline I'm taking the
makeup studio eye pencil natural liner number seven in purple and because this
is a really really hard eyeliner I'm going to hold it into flame for just a
second let it cool a little bit and then use it that way it is easier but be very
careful when you do it it could be potentially very very hot just like that
let it cool and then use it in your waterline
as a purple shade underneath my eye I'm using the Marvycorn by Marvin
Macnificent by BH cosmetics eyeshadow highlighter palette and I'm using
the shade of Bahamas taking this on a pencil brush this one is from Mac I will
have to write as I always do write the brush in the bottom corner because it has
rubbed off and I'm not entirely sure so just a really defined line like that and
now I'm using the zoeva 223 petite eye blender to blend that
out a little more
alright almost done guys now I'm taking the elf waterproof length and volume
mascara making my lashes black I
recently found out this mascara is not in fact waterproof which is a shame
because I do like what it does to my lashes but it is just not waterproof at
all so don't think you can wear this like while going swimming or whatever
or when you sweat a lot I feel like I do my eyelashes weird do you also close your
eyes like this to coat your eyelashes or am I the only one and that's the eye
look for green eyes done so as I told you I'm gonna do a check in a little later
just to tell you how the contact lenses wear and then I'll see you later okay so
I've been wearing these contacts for about eight hours now four of which I've
spent ah I'm so red here four of which I've spent in front of a computer screen so
my eyes are burning but that's nothing new and the fogginess eventually kind of
went away I see a little bit of obstructed view but it's pretty good
it's comf... they're comfortable to wear they're nothing different to my normal
contact lenses I'm gonna take them out now so just a little quick update about
the wearability which is pretty good so I hope that you like this video if you
