Miracle drug creates a new hope for millions of kidney patients around the world.

This incredible 2-a-day pill may represent the greatest breakthrough in the history of

kidney disease.

In decades of studies, researchers have always focused on reducing the speed of the progression

of kidney disease instead of actually trying to stop this devastating illness.

Now, for the first time, things are changing.

Actually undergoing human trials in Australia, the miracle drug could be able to change the

lives of 29 million people.

Researchers are taking a whole new approach, focusing on fighting the triggering factors

of scarring and inflammation in the kidney instead of just trying to slow down the progression

of the disease.

This may be a game changer.

The drug, called GKT831 is in phase-II trials.

This means that the drug is being tested on actual patients and not on healthy people

or animals.

But how does it work?

GKT831 is a NOX-inhibitor, it blocks a pathway through which NOX1 and NOX4 enzymes cause

damages to the kidneys.

The use of NOX-inhibitor to fight the enzymes responsible of kidney damages is not entirely

new.

But the results have never been this positive before.

The new drug has already shown its potential during the tests on mice.

I want to explain why I think this drug will be a life saver for many.

This is the first time the field is taking a true step back, not just focusing on palliatives

and life support but re-examining where they are in regard to what they know.

Yes, this time scientists are looking for an actual solution, a real treatment.

This can represent one of the best avenues for further developments.

The rights on the drug are actually owned by the biotech company Genkyotex.

The initial development has been carried by researchers at the Monash University.

The human trials, led by Professor Mark Cooper are currently taking place in Australia.

"three things happen In the diabetic kidney" Said Professor Cooper to the Australian media

"it gets inflamed, it scars, and it leaks the protein albumin,".

"We have already shown that this drug stops the inflammation, stops protein leaking, and

stops the scarring.

In particular it is the scarring that causes kidney failure"

The test subjects will be checked for albumin in the urine before and after the 12 months

trial.

They will be administered either this innovative NOX-inhibitor drug or a placebo.

"People will now be able to avoid kidney dialysis, suffer less blindness, avoid heart attacks"

added Professor Cooper.

This study is taking place at 14 facilities across Australia and will last 12 months.

Results will be conclusive in 2020.

Enchanted science was my favorite subject. I entered the fair every year

But I never won one year. I tried making a floating model of the entire solar system

Would have been it was too big a project for my partner and me to finish in time

I always wanted to win that trophy, but you want all these other ones

LeBron James hinted that he may run for President of the United States in the 2020 election.

 The NBA superstar recently sat down for an interview with CNN host Don Lemon, where he discussed the conditions in which he could consider running against current President Donald Trump.

When Lemon asked whether he would ever consider running for political office, James initially said "I don't think so" and then "I don't know.

" But when Lemon gave the Los Angeles Laker a hypothetical scenario in which Trump had no viable competition and would be guaranteed to win reelection if he did not run, James admitted that he might.

"Well in that case I may," James said.

"Yeah, if they have no one.

I mean, I believe there are some people out there, I hope.

Let's see.

James previously told GQ that the level of committment needed to be President is daunting.

"From the outside looking in, it seems like the president always has to be there—gotta be there.

You really don't have much 'me time.' I enjoy my 'me time.'" he said.

"The positive that I see from being the president… Well, not with the president we have right now, because there's no positive with him, but the positive that I've seen is being able to inspire.

"Your word has command to it," he continued.

"If you're speaking with a knowledgeable, caring, loving, passionate voice, then you can give the people of America and all over the world hope.".

During the CNN interview, James accused Trump of intentionally being divisive, and exacerbating the country's racial issues. "Our president is using sport to divide us, and that's something I can't relate to because I know that sport was the first time I ever was around someone white," he explained.

"And I got an opportunity to see them and learn about them and they got an opportunity to learn about me and we became very good friends.".

"No matter how big you can become, no matter how successful you are, no matter what you do in the community or in your profession, being African-American in America is tough, and they always going to let you know that you are the 'N-word' — no matter who you are," he added. "When you're an African-American kid, male or female, you're always going to be against obstacles.

You can allow it to affect you, or you can allow it to empower you and rise above it.".

Things between James and Trump reached a tipping point on Friday night, when the President insulted him and interviewer Don Lemon on Twitter. "Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon," he wrote.

"He made Lebron look smart, which isn't easy to do.".

Many have supported James' presidential aspirations.

"When LeBron James retires from the NBA, I do not want to see him being a General Manager, Coach, or President of any team in the NBA," wrote one user.

"He needs to run for President of the United States.

Seriously.".

Another wrote: "As much as I'd hate to see @KingJames career shortened, please run for President LeBron! I know he's too young right now.

Pray For The Wicked Tour Vlog | Panic! At The Disco Concert 2018 - Duration: 14:56.

hello internet friends welcome or welcome back to my channel my name is

Amanda and today I'm going to be showing you my experience at a panic at the

disco concert this is for their pray for the wicked tour I went to the Raleigh

North Carolina concert and I hope you enjoy this experience with that being

said let's just get into this it has been a couple days since the concert and

I think the clips might be a little bit confusing so I wanted to sit down and

talk about what kind of went down in my experience with the concert it was one

of the best experiences of my entire life

I love panic at the disco so just getting to see Brendon and Hayley kiyoko

and even Arizona Live was everything so to start off I wanted these concert

tickets for a couple months when I found out they were coming to my state and my

mom agreed to get them for me for my birthday so it was originally going to

be me and her going to the concert and she kinda realized that she hates loud

music and she doesn't even like Panic at the Disco

so she told me I could bring someone else to go instead I ended up asking my

friend from school if she would want to go even though she doesn't listen to

Panic at the Disco and she said yes her name is Zoey so we ended up going to the

concert together

I got the goods now I've time to go get gas and then I'm

gonna get my makeup done yay

hello so as you can tell from the intro and title and everything I am going to

be going to a panic at the disco concert yeah basically I just went to the dollar

store to get some nail polish and other things and then I got gas ate lunch now

I'm back and I'm gonna start getting ready I'm already in my outfit which

I'll show you more of later I got some black nail polish so that I can paint my

nails to match my outfit which is so extra but I also just wanted for Peter

used to I got some more concealer because all the concealer that I have

now sucks and doesn't cover up anything hopefully this one works

it's from covergirl and then I got this glitter eyeshadow from Wet n Wild just

silver glitter I figured I could use it for my look

before we went to the concert we ended up going to the sushi restaurant

I have cooks from that and it was a conveyor belt sushi restaurant

all-you-can-eat style thing so you basically pay one certain price

and then you get to your table and there's some conveyor belt that goes

around all the tables with different kinds of sushi on it and you just grab

whatever you want I had some vegan sushi it was pretty good hello my friend Zoey

and we're at a sushi place that has a conveyor belt I'm not making this up we

just literally opened the thing and take whatever one so I got a deep-fried

banana thing

so then after that we went to the concert and parking was surprisingly

easy to find it was $20 but we got a good spot as soon as we got in line

someone tried to airdrop me a deep-fried meme and that's when I knew these were

my people

after week on the line we went to our seats and it turns out the our seats for

the very last row in the entire stadium the very back it was section 336 row n

seat 9 the stadium was pretty big and honestly I'm kind of glad that it

was a last row because we were up against a wall and didn't have to worry

about anyone behind us but it was kind of far away and when we first got there

it was very scary because it you could look down it was like a really steep

decline

I took a little bit to get used to how high up we were but after like 5-10

minutes I was good to go so we kind of got there a couple minutes late and

Arizona was already playing

I didn't think I've heard of him before but I actually knew a couple of his

songs cuz I like alternative music and I guess some of the songs were in my

really old playlist so I definitely recognized a couple of those

after he ended I was so so excited because Hayley kiyoko aka

lesbian Jesus was the next opening act and I am obsessed with her she inspires

me so so much and all of her songs are so relatable especially if you are a

girl who also likes girls then you will relate to her music so

when she stepped up I died in his side a little bit because I could not believe I

was in the same building as lesbian Jesus

I really only knew about three or four of her songs which I guess I'm not a

real fan but all the songs she sung were incredible and I looked them all up

afterwards it was the best experience ever

and after she left took about a half hour I would say until panic at the

disco came up they had a five minute timer before maybe it was ten minutes

I'm not really sure I think the timer got like a little messed up and they had

to fix it so I think there was a five or 10 minute timer that came up on the

screen and then when Brendan came out everyone screamed as loud as possibly

could it was insane

I assumed that most of the songs we're gonna be from crate for the wicked but a

lot of the songs were actually from past albums even covers I write sins not

tragedies of course that was there I loved it

it was incredible my favorite song that he did was girl / girl / boys that's not

all time favorite song by them because it really helped me accept Who I am and

realize my identity so everyone you had these rainbow colored hearts my section

was Green and it says on them hold up and shine your flashlight or phone light

through during girls / girls / boys so I shone my flashlight through this the

whole stadium shown there it was a bunch of rainbow colored lights it was so so

cool Brendon had a huge rainbow flag and I

saw some other rainbow pan by like tons different flags it was so cool I feel

like the concert just flew by I was singing so loud that my voice started to

hurt after a while and I didn't even care I was jamming out dancing do

whatever I wanted it was the best experience ever

I definitely recommend going to a concert they aren't even that expensive

I thought it was gonna be a lot more expensive but yeah that is my concert

experience if you're going to pray for the wicked tour you should definitely

vlog it I want to see if anyone else has a similar experience to what I had I
