Domestic air travel is a major issue for people with disabilities.
Traveling in car with all four boys is always a challenge.
Traveling in itself is stressful enough.
Just getting it on and off the airplane is a real challenge,
so, when I get on one of these aisle chairs, it's a manual process.
Not transferring me correctly can actually cause a health issue.
So, if I were to fly with him...
I would have to have a seat in the very, very front of the plane.
98% of the time, when I try to book a flight, those seats are already taken.
We know that people with disabilities have a unique perspective on on what we're doing and
how we design and implement this train. Our aim is not just to involve them at
the beginning to think about the design but to involve them through the process,
so that we can be certain that the day we open that system, it will be suitable
for ALL people.
All of the people within the ability ranges will have an informed
and accessible journey on this system... to where they feel like this journey was
designed for them.
The whole process will be very different from the airline experience.
It's streamlined, it's efficient....
It's much smoother, it's much calmer...
So not only will we meet ADA requirements, but we will exceed them
and set the gold standard for accessibility for mass transportation in the United States.
As an entrepreneur, I try to travel this country to grow my business
but I have to limit myself.
If my chair is damaged, it takes anywhere from three
to six months to get a new chair.
This is an opportunity for us to build a system,
from the ground up...
that meets the needs of everybody.
The idea that I could get my crew on a train
and get going...I can't wait to see that happen!
The fact that they are actually taking the effort to think about that...
is incredible.

Today's video is team building group games for kids. I have an additional
three. This is part of a series. I will link the series in the description box
down below so make sure you check out some more team building groups games for
kids. Let's get into today's video. Today first team building game is the
Blind Drawing. Partner every kid up. You're gonna have to sit
back-to-back. Give one kid a very simple drawing like this and then that kid is
gonna tell the kid who's sitting at their back what to draw. They have to
work together and communicate to make sure they get the picture correct. Group
game number two is a scavenger hunt. So if you want your team to work together
and learn how to work as a team there's no better way than to have a scavenger
hunt. I will link a fun scavenger hunt from another website down in the
description box down below. The third game is called Building Bridges. You're
going to want to divide your kids into two teams and give each team the same
building supplies: like popsicle sticks or Legos or blocks. And they're going to
construct half of a bridge. Each team will construct half of a bridge. And the
goal is to connect the two bridges together. One kid appointed from each
team that will be verbal communication to the other team. The teams cannot
communicate to each other except through that one person designated from each
team. And they will try and make sure that they build their bridges so that
they will work together. So like the same height and the same way to connect the
two. I will post a list of supplies that would be good for this game in the

Team USA Dodgeball Aims For World Cup Crown - Duration: 2:27.
Where we falter is I don't think it's as big of a sport here. But it's constantly
growing and I think just having it in America this year having it in New York,
is just gonna put dodgeball's name on the map.
I probably started close to ten years ago.
Just went with a friend one day and thought this is something
I really want to get into and have been playing ever since.
A friend of mine asked me to come join a league
on Wednesday nights in Albany and it went from there.
My name is Darcy Johnson I'm from Fort Collins, Colorado
and I play for Team USA.
I'm Michelle Radley. I'm from Averill Park, New York,
and I'm part of the womens and mixed Team USA.
everybody knows about baseball, football, soccer all those things and dodgeball
is one of those sports that people think it's kind of something you play in grade school.
Where, we take it very seriously and we're very competitive.
You're working muscles that you don't normally work. It's you go and you think that it's
gonna be a piece of cake, and you're sore for three days afterwards.
There's a lot of strategy that goes into it and a lot of practice and training.
You want to throw together. You think you're gonna throw it as hard as you can by yourself,
and get someone out, it's probably not gonna happen.
A lot of people don't see that side of it. They just think it's all about the 'Dodgeball' movie and they refer
to that a lot with us.
Oh I don't think I'm a lot dumber than you thought that I think that I thought I was once.
It's literally the coolest thing I've ever done.
2016 was amazing. You get to go and play a sport with 13, 14 different nations.
I love meeting everyone from all the other countries. It's a close-knit
family even though we're spread all over the world.
And we all come together and we're competing on the court,
but afterwards were you know having dance-offs, or
it's just, it's a lot of fun you hang out at the court if you're not
playing and you're just you're meeting people from around the world that play
this sport that we all love and we just have that common ground
that not a lot of people have in the world.
The competition is becoming bigger and
bigger throughout the countries they're planning more, they're training more,
they're all coming over to be number one.
We've been prepping for two and a half years since Manchester, for this weekend.
Look out for Team USA this year,
we're coming for everyone.

That means 7 full miles of open, car free streets from 72nd Street alllllllll the way
down Park Avenue & Lafayette Street to City Hall.
And along the way there are tons of awesome free activities, rest stops, a rock climbing
wall, and even a zip line…really way too many things to mention!
Second: This weekend at Coney Island is the Beach Sports Festival featuring beach volleyball
on Saturday, glow in the dark volleyball that night, and an obstacle course and pullup contest
on Sunday.
Registration for the competitions is closed but you can come and watch.
You can also participate in the obstacle course and glow in the dark volleyball.
Third: Come out on Sunday to enjoy international food and a global village hosted by the Brooklyn
Borough President.
Delegations from around the world will be out for the 5th Annual International Day of
Friendship at Brooklyn's Borough Hall.
This cool event will include a Unity Parade of Flags, cultural performances, ethnic cuisine,
and a global dance party.
