Waching daily Aug 28 2018

To Filipinos music means a lot of things.

It's often been said, that we're a very musical culture.

What is unique with the sound

in the Philippines and in Asia in general,

traditionally it's been a community that does it.

And for this project I also wanted to bring together a community.

I'm working with a composer named Malek Lopez.

He created three sets of code.

So it's like a DNA.

Basically from these three sets, we will give it to several artists

and ask them to create something from it.

Malik and I will create a soundtrack for the entire store

using the same finite sets.

I would want to invite people to experience something in the store.

I think the question that was interestingly posted by this campaign

was "What the future of the Philippines would be?"

The best way to answer that

would be to look at the past first.

See the best practices there.

Use the best contemporary talent you have

and just let your imagination take you where it should.

That's the future to me.

'The Proposal': Who Is Mystery Woman Amber Green? | Heavy.com

Tonight, nine men are vying to win over the heart of Amber Green.

The 29-year-old goes by the handle 'yougottabekittenme' on Instagram, and based on her pics, she appears to be living the life in Austin, Texas.

If the blonde beauty isn't snapping photos of her dog, she's posing with friends and family.

One thing Amber wants to make sure her bachelors know? She has two children.

She has been promoting her appearance on the show on social media.

During the interview section of the show, Amber revealed a bit about herself.

Audiences learned more about her family, and she also divulged that she was in a seven year relationship.

The Proposal.

The Proposal debuted on ABC June 18, and is hosted by former NFL quarterback Jesse Palmer.

During each hour-long episode, ten contestants set out to win over the heart of one mystery man or woman.

Four rounds make up each episode.

The first is based solely off of first impressions.

The second involves the contestants strutting their stuff in a swimsuit competition.

For the third round, contestants speak to the mystery man or woman and tell them why they're the best choice.

Next, the hopefuls get to meet the parents of the bachelor or bachelorette.

By the end of the night, a proposal is promised.

Defconn's shoot is amazing like a miracle! This is incredible! [2Days&1Night Season 3/2018.08.26] - Duration: 16:49.

The next game will be presented by Shinhwa.

It's a shoot-out,

but with the Elephant Trunk game.

- All right. / - It's a shoot-out.

You must kick but also be the goalkeeper.

Do we decide the order we'll play in?

Yes, and we'll all have to be the goalkeeper too.

Decide on the order.

- Let's do as he says. / - Sure.

Minwoo can decide.

(Shinhwa's brains)

- Who's not confident? / - Me.

Who thinks they can do better than Dongwan?

Me.

Junjin should play in between.

I'm curious to see what Junjin can do.

(Shinhwa's tactician, Minwoo)

It's meticulous.

It's scientific too.

I'm the worst at this.

We should try and intimidate them first.

The third and sixth will probably lose.

We're at such a disadvantage.

(The winning team gets a set of meat skewers.)

(The losing team will receive spring onions.)

First contenders, please step forward.

- The first. / - Who's up first?

It's Dongwan!

(Dongwan is up first for Shinhwa.)

Get out there already.

(Jongmin is up first for Two Days and One Night.)

You better watch it.

Will you play offense or defense?

- Who goes first? / - Let's decide.

I don't know which is better.

Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.

Rock-paper-scissors.

(Jongmin wins!)

- Offense or defense? / - Offense or defense?

- Offense. / - You'll feel pressured

if you don't make the save.

- Okay. / - You can do this.

- Let's go! / - Go, go!

My defense is like a web.

(Hopping around)

(Dongwan, are you sure about this?)

Spin quickly so you can find your balance faster.

Get ready.

(Ready, go!)

- One, two, three, four, / - One, two, three, four,

- five, six, seven, eight. / - five, six, seven, eight.

(Dongwan spins with both feet.)

- Eight, nine... / - Eight, nine...

- Ten, now kick. / - You can kick!

(Staggering)

Go ahead and kick it.

(He kicks!)

(Will it go in or will Dongwan block it?)

(Goal!)

(Dongwan, the tragic protagonist)

(Jongmin, the unexpected hero)

I can't believe this!

(Yelping)

(He couldn't control his body.)

(Shinhwa isn't as tough as we thought.)

- Did you see that? / - We can win.

- No way. / - Nice!

It's better to be on the offense first.

I can spin around slowly and shoot, right?

- That's right. / - You can do it.

- I'll be standing right here. / - Here we go.

Ready.

(Go!)

- One, two, three. / - Jongmin's fast.

Five, six.

- Nine, ten. / - Now sit down.

Step aside.

- Get between the posts. / - Just stand there.

- Right there. / - Block everything.

Dongwan, stay calm.

Just stand there.

(Dongwan calmly finishes his spins.)

Is Dongwan ready?

Get ready.

- Come on. / - Four, three, two, one.

You must kick!

(Dongwan makes up for his mistake earlier!)

Nice!

(Nice job, Dongwan!)

- What was that? / - Gosh.

I saved face thanks to you not blocking it.

(The current score is one all.)

All right.

Second contenders, please step forward.

- It's me. / - It's Taehyun.

- It's Taehyun. / - Taehyun?

Let's decide who goes first.

- Rock... / - Is it you?

(Hyesung is up for Shinhwa.)

(This will be tough to win.)

Rock-paper-scissors.

(Hyesung wins.)

I'll play defense first.

- You'll block it then score. / - That's right.

This sure is a dynamic game.

Get ready, and...

(Go!)

- One, two, three. / - One, two, three.

- Hyesung's fast. / - Four.

- Five, six, seven. / - Look at him.

- Slow down a bit. / - Eight, nine,

- Ten. / - You're done!

(They finish at almost the same time.)

- Here we go! / - Three, two.

(Hyesung blocks it with his knees.)

(That was close!)

Wait. Hold on a second.

Hyesung, that looked really cool.

- I agree. / - Hold on.

Are you ready?

Let's get right to it.

(Hyesung is on the offense this time.)

- One, two, / - One, two,

- three, four... / - three, four...

- Six. / - You can do it!

- Seven, eight, / - Seven, eight,

- Nine, ten. / - Nine, ten.

Don't waste any time!

Kick it right away.

(This is where the game begins.)

- Two, one. / - Shoot!

What?

(Hyesung kicks with force.)

(Taehyun blocks it with his toes.)

(Rolling)

(Taehyun blocked it by doing the split.)

Unbelievable.

(A midsummer night's dream)

(Taehyun's spectacular save)

You blocked it.

That was an incredible save.

- Lucky guy! / - No way.

- That was a great save. / - This is impossible.

He blocked it with his toes.

You looked like a soccer player just now.

(The current score is one all.)

What a save.

- Third contenders, please come out. / - That's me.

They don't expect to win this round.

- This isn't easy. / - Gosh.

Make sure you kick it in this direction.

Is it Eric?

I can't even finish all ten spins.

We saw how good Eric is at this.

Go, Defconn!

Ready.

- One, two. / - One, two.

- He's fast. / - Three.

- Four. / - Wow!

(Eric shows incredible speed.)

He's fast.

- Four. / - Four.

- Nine. / - Nine.

Is he done already?

Kick it already!

He's too slow.

(Defconn slowly makes his rounds.)

Wait, he's not done yet.

- Three, two... / - Three, two...

- Come on. / - Don't rush it.

- Two... / - Time's up.

- Two... / - Just shoot.

- Two... / - Just shoot.

(The ball flies to the corner of the goal.)

Two, one...

(Defconn's shoot is amazing like a miracle.)

(It's a celebration.)

(I made a goal.)

That felt like the World Cup.

(Even his team members are amazed.)

This is incredible.

- I can't believe it. / - Goodness.

It was impossible to block it.

(It's unbelievable.)

- I can't believe it. / - Goodness.

It went this way.

- It was impossible to block it. / - Never.

What is this? He's good.

We didn't think he'd do such a good job.

That was surprising.

It was amazing.

Here I go.

Eric turns really fast.

The ball will go in while he turns.

One, two, three.

- He's fast. / - Five, six, seven.

(Eric turns very fast.)

(There's a big difference in their speed.)

- Seven, eight. / - Be careful.

(He's still struggling against gravity.)

- Three, two, one. / - Here comes Eric.

What happened?

(Is Eric rolling?)

(What happened?)

What's going on?

No way.

What happened?

(What actually happened?)

(Rewind to a few minutes ago...)

(Camera No. 1)

Three.

(Eric kicks the ball after taking off his shoe.)

(Sad, barefoot Eric)

(The ball doesn't anywhere near the goal.)

Eric.

(Where did it go?)

(Confused)

Where's the ball?

- Yes. / - Eric.

(The loser is speechless.)

It's Eric's.

What's this?

Why didn't you tell him to take his time?

This flew off.

How did this happen?

Eric was the funniest this year.

- My goodness. / - No way.

He's weak today.

I couldn't see anything.

It was a great game.

Why did Eric's shoe fly off?

- It flew off with Eric. / - He tripped.

- It flew off with Eric. / - He kicked it.

It was only a preview.

I couldn't watch it. I have to see it on TV.

- No. 4. / - Who goes fourth?

- Junjin. / - It's Junjin.

Did we win once?

They're the best players on the team.

It's Messi against Ronaldo.

- What's that? / - That's great.

It's Messi against Ronaldo.

- Okay. / - Junjin is good too.

(He's proven his athleticism many times.)

(He's the best player in Team Shinhwa.)

It's Junjin versus Jung Joonyoung.

(We believe in you, Junjin.)

Get ready.

Start.

One, two.

(Junjin turns very fast.)

He's turning very fast.

- Don't turn too fast. / - Four.

(Joonyoung blocks it.)

(You're amazing.)

Yes.

(He approves of him.)

- Gosh. / - I almost didn't see it.

- Okay. / - All right.

Why do you look so sad?

- Let's move on. / - Are you ready?

- Let's go. / - We'll go right away.

- Don't lose it. / - Start.

(He shoots.)

(The ball flies away from the goal.)

(It's embarrassing for his team.)

Joonyoung.

It's an unbelievable shot.

- That's amazing. / - It's unbelievable.

Something unexpected could happen.

Two players remain from each team.

- Next player! / - Fifth player, please come up.

(It's a competition between two young men.)

Will Siyoon overcome his weakness with the ball?

He's quite bad at any games involving balls.

(Siyoon gets small in front of any ball.)

(He fails at games that involve any ball.)

Overcome all your fears about balls.

Siyoon, you are Baller Gu.

(You can do it, Baller Gu.)

Baller Gu!

(I must win.)

Get ready.

(Who will win in this round?)

- One, two, / - What's going on?

- Can't he even do that? / - three...

(All over the place)

Four, five.

He looks strange.

(Siyoon turns with stability.)

(They're so excited.)

That was amazing, Siyoon.

(Unbelievable)

(Running around)

You did it!

(Dreams come true.)

- Everyone's doing so well. / - That was amazing.

(Final score is three to one.)

I thought went forward. Let's eat spring onions.

Let's eat them.

- This is unbelievable. / - We defeated Shinhwa.

We were invited as guests.

Minwoo's our best player. He didn't get a chance.

We'll see next year.

We'll see next year.

(Come on.)

We'll give you a skewer.

- Let's play another round. / - A skewer.

Let's play one more round.

However, if Minwoo loses,

you won't even get spring onions.

No spring onions.

Give us those at least.

Fine, it's better not to eat anything.

- Spring onions... / - You have to bet something.

You're right.

Bet on spring onions.

(Minwoo versus Junho)

How about this?

What if we have Minwoo turn 15 times?

Let's do it.

Junho.

Do it all the way.

- 15 turns? / - Yes.

People could die from turning 15 times.

Here we go. Remember three seconds.

Get ready, set.

(They decide to turn 15 times.)

- One, two, three, four. / - He's not very fast.

- Eight, nine. / - Eight, nine.

14, 15.

Three, two.

(Minwoo finishes turning.)

(Shaking)

(He's almost losing his mind.)

(Rolling)

(It's a very easy catch.)

He caught it.

- Both of them struggled. / - Goodness.

Start right away.

- Right away. / - Keep playing.

(Let's start right away.)

Keep playing.

Start right away.

(Give me the ball.)

(Rolling)

(The body and the mind are separate after turning.)

Hurry up.

(He needs emergency care.)

- Get ready, set. / - Turn the opposite way.

Turn this way.

Let's go.

Turn the other way.

- One, two. / - One, two.

Four, five.

Six, seven.

(Turning)

- You're done. / - Move out of the way.

Move out of the way.

Move.

(Now is the time.)

(He sees an empty spot and shoots.)

It went in.

(My goodness.)

Do it again.

You have to.

I don't want to.

We're dead.

I'm about to die.

(He's out of his mind.)

Goodness.

Will you give us skewers or not?

- We will. / - We definitely will.

We got it. He made the goal.

I had no idea that we'd defeat Shinhwa.

Defconn did such a good job.

- It was unexpected. / - Seriously.

- You were amazing. / - Blocking was impossible.

- Seriously. / - Can you add some special effects?

- He was great. / - That was amazing.

Put the special effect on Siyoon and me.

Round 2, Elephant Trunk Penalty Kick is won

by Team Two Days and One Night.

Yes!

Okay.

("Yo!", Shinhwa's second album)

(Strong, manly image)

Whose part is this?

(It's mine!)

(A real professional)

This is an old song.

(Flashy)

(He still dances brilliantly.)

Rapper Wan!

(Dongwan sings the next part.)

It's Dongwan.

- That's pretty good. / - Really.

(Shinhwa's overflowing passion)

(They can't control their excitement.)

- It's Dongwan. / - Jump up.

Okay.

(With Shinhwa's performance,)

(Round 2 comes to an end.)
