Waching daily Aug 27 2018

Axel von Fersen also lived in Löfstad castle, which is in Norrköping.

Barbro... Nilsson Streisand.

Wow?

Swedish park department, I don't know. God, I should know this. Somewhere.

Somewhere.

The authority for social protection? Let's take the next one.

Do you know this? Yes.

What the hell is her name?

What can that be? Woman bathing nude 57.

Winter motif? What motif?

No idea.

Naturvårdsverket!!!! The EPA!!!!

A santa? What do you mean santa?

Aha, she drew the first Santa Clause.

Do you know?

No, which film is that?

Oooh, was that the name of the film?

October.

Weaver's children?

Lord of the rings.

But God!

Let's say dunk cause that's a word in Basketball.

We should have known that. Dorky!

Hm, what can that be?

You think?

I can imagine it to be the liberals.

World famous, Swedish singer.

No, not her.

Singer, it's a man.

With the luggage in the throat. It's probably some Loa Falkman or so.

It's...

I don't know the names. Social Democrats have rose, Environmental has dandelion.

Leftist party... You go Tjoffe (camera man).

I have no idea.

Forgetmenot. But God.

Stockholm melody?

Which song is that? No idea.

Is it called Stockholm melody? Apparently.

By the way; his daughter's name was Eleonor.

My mum wasn't even born then. Okay.

Toboggan? Yeah, sure.

Can it be rum?

How weird.

But of course it's carnation.

I have no idea. Let's say Kon-Tiki.

Oh, I've seen it. But who composed it.

Not Tjajkovskij. It's...

Who invented it. This sucks for me cause my grandpa is called Mr Turbine. I should know everything.

Was this sports? Cotton?

On the mast of a sailboat. I should know that. I'm a shame for my family. Right now.

REI Trailheads: What is Orienteering? - Duration: 7:50.

Colin?

Kelsi!

I...hello!

Give me your coordinates.

The ground should be like a bunch of straight, red lines.

Where are you?

There's numbers.

Give me a number.

Time to orient.

Are you sure we're going the right way?

It's like finding a needle in a haystack.

Hey, two-minute warning!

This is where my true competition comes out.

Did you guys see the bear?

-Wait, what? No. Where? -Yeah, right there.

-Oh, what? -Joke's on you.

Oh, my gosh, I totally believed you.

Here, let's blow up this bridge

so that they can't get over it.

No one said orienteering

was gonna be a cakewalk.

They're hot on our trail.

We gotta be quick about this.

Hi, welcome to orienteering.

My name is Bob Forgrave

from Cascade Orienteering Club.

Cascade is one of 60 orienteering clubs,

so you can go all over the country

and enjoy this sport.

What is orienteering?

Orienteering is the sport

of navigating with a map.

Orienting the map so it matches what's on the ground.

Where is the "You Are Here" sign?

That skill is so important,

we named the sport after it,

and orienteering maps

are some of the most detailed maps in the world.

Oh, stumps.

-Stumps. -I saw those.

Because it's more detailed,

you can put more features on it.

You would find things mapped like a boulder.

So there are the two trees.

-And there are the two trees. -Yeah, that's it!

And going from one place to another,

you don't have to use the same route as everyone else.

I think that it's somewhere...

Oh, animal farm.

Let's--I mean, we gotta check it out.

Oh my gosh, there's goats.

And so, what you're looking for

is markers like that behind us.

Some clubs have something called e-punching

which is something that fits on your finger

and you stick it in a box on top of the control.

Let me assist you.

That's a satisfying beeep.

When you get to the finish, you get a printout

that tells you how long it took

to get to each one of these controls.

So, do you have to have

previous education or knowledge

coming into an orienteering event,

or can you just like show up?

Yeah, anyone can do it.

We've got multiple levels of courses

all the way from beginner which is super simple,

you know, for real young families...

With a graduate degree.

-I mean... -Me!

...up to courses that do require

a significant amount of navigation.

Course one, please.

That's the most intro, correct?

What sort of things do you need

to just go on a basic orienteering course?

What you need to bring with you,

since it's a hike,

is sensible shoes and layers.

Did you bring your climbing shoes?

Everything else you can get at the event.

There will be a map provided.

I'll give them to you now,

but you don't look at your map

until after you punch start.

And you go point to point through that course

in a certain order.

I think on the map, it's by a building,

and there's a building right there,

so it's probably like this way.

I think I see it, I see it, I see it!

Yes!

If you want a compass,

you can typically get one at the club.

But you don't necessarily have to know how to use a compass?

No, in fact, I'd say most people come into this

not knowing anything about using a compass.

Which way is north? Ready, go.

What is happening? Grow your nails out.

Do you have any idea where we are?

If you turn it enough, the map will tell you.

Three to the right.

North is back that way.

You just got oriented.

Phewww! So glad you asked that question.

We've been spending some time with the compass.

Thing is like a Rubik's Cube.

How long do these events typically last?

Are we talking ten minutes, ten hours?

I would say if your course takes less than 30 minutes,

maybe you want to try a more difficult course

and some more challenging navigation.

Do you think it's over here somewhere?

If it took two hours, that's usually a sign

that you want to try something a little easier.

They probably have a good sense of direction, right?

Better than us?

-Gus. -You gonna help us?

Do you know how to work a GPS?

Follow-up question to that then:

How often do people get lost?

There are different degrees of lost.

-Are we lost? -We can forage for berries.

Are we lost? I need to wash my socks.

Where are you? Kelsi?

We gotta find some civilization soon,

or otherwise I'm gonna revert back

to my primitive roots.

So, why do people come out and do this?

It's an exciting way

to explore parks.

Ouch! Sticky.

The map that you have isn't just a map of the park.

It's a tour set out by someone

who came in advance

to find interesting things along the way.

Ooh, water.

Are we ready to explore this park?

-Yeah. -Yeah, let's do it.

(whistle blows)

Um, we're looking for a single tree.

Don't let Elena and Anna see us.

Let's go this way.

Pro tip: Do not get hit.

Yes, yes!

We got our first one!

Don't be fooled.

Just because there's a place to check in

doesn't mean it's on your course.

No, it's 121.

Wait, why, is that wrong?

Dang it.

(sobs)

(camera whirs)

Memento.

(laughs)

-Ah, I see it. -Oh, nice.

We got it. Oh wait, what is...

What the heck?

"Hope you're enjoying nature

as much as we are enjoying winning.

#HaveAGreatSummer."

I think they've been here.

That certainly looks like a boundary of vegetation.

Vegetation, difficult to run, fight.

-Don't fight there. -It's gotta be like right there.

-Go around. -Yeah, let's do it.

Yeah, that's what we're looking at!

Rock and roll.

If I do say so myself, that was some good orienting.

Got a runner.

We gotta make up for lost time.

-This is fun! -This is really fun.

I like this.

-Colin! -No way!

-Seriously, come on. -Oh, yeah!

Yes!

Get it, get it, get it.

All right. Yes!

Go!

-I see it! -You see it?

What is this?

Seriously?

"Second place is first losers.

Look like you could use some energy."

Very funny.

Well, joke's on them.

I could use one of these.

Bob, let's get down to brass tacks here.

What are we gonna win if we win the orienteering race?

Any prizes out there?

Wait, wait, Kelsi, look.

First, we got first!

"Congratulations.

This is the only trophy you'll be winning today.

Love you."

Well, bragging rights are pretty big.

-They're being, like, mean. -I know.

-Those are big. -Yeah, because if you know

that you not only collected the whole set,

got all those controls out there...

-I'm keeping the trophy. -There's one right there.

...but you got faster than anyone else,

that's some pretty serious stuff.

We're so close.

Look at her go.

I can feel the victory.

-Yes! -Yes!

Nice, nice, nice!

-We orienteered! -We won!

-Okay, okay, stop. -We're the best!

"Team Lost (Then Found)."

Pretty accurate.

See, one was rough.

Yeah, was it over that way?

Yeah, how many times did you guys find one

and you were like, "Yes!"

Not the right number!

-Twice--half the time. -About like three times.

-Or more. -So frustrating.

I went on a serious emotional rollercoaster.

-Really? -I laughed, I cried...

Is Chiropractic Safe After Back Surgery? Absolutely! - Health and Wellness - Duration: 6:40.

Is chiropractic safe after spinal (or back) surgery? And why would you want to get

adjusted after spinal surgery? I'll explain. Hey I'm Dr. Ekberg with

Wellness For Life and if you'd like to truly master health by understanding how

the body really works make sure that you subscribe and hit that notification bell

so that you don't miss anything. Is chiropractic safe after spinal surgery a

lot of people ask that we get phone calls some people wonder but before we

can answer that question we need to understand what chiropractic truly is

because chiropractic is not about twisting and popping and cracking the

spine that is not the mechanism by which chiropractic works so how does it work

well in the body there is a passive system so the bones they can be aligned

or misaligned but only based on how the muscles are acting on them and the

muscles are only going to act on the bones based on what sort of information

what kind of signals the regulating system or the brain is sending to the

muscles so if we have a misalignment in a bone it's because we're lack of

movement in a bone it's because the brain is not sending the right signals

so that's either because the brain is incapable or because the brain doesn't

have the true picture it doesn't know what to do because it's misinformed or

confused so the brain controls everything in the body but it can only

do that based on feedback because the brain is essentially blind it's never

seen or heard or touched or felt anything all the brain knows is based on

the signals the billions of bits of information that the brain receives that

paints a picture for the brain so that it knows what the world looks like if it

has a true picture of the world it can act perfectly if it doesn't know what

the world looks like it has to guess and once we understand that everything is

about signals that the brain regulates by sending out signals it

understands the worlds by receiving signals we also have to look at what are

the different factors that can influence signals so the human body mind is

chemical structural and emotional we have chemical aspects we have structural

aspect we have emotional aspects to our body to our physiology and all of these

things can influence how signals are processed so in addition to getting

chiropractic and moving which is the structural mechanical influence we also

need to understand how to take care of our emotions by relaxing by meditating

by feeling good and not least by getting proper nutrition and not being toxic so

this is the triad of health this is what influences signals the brain runs on

signals the body runs on signals so what does that have to do now with spinal

surgery the movement the movement of the joint the movement attention and

movement of a muscle these receptors from joints and muscles provide about

90% of all the information that gets to the brain and that's the purpose of the

brain is to receive that information if the brain gets plenty of information it

is being stimulated it's being activated it's like a muscle that's being made to

work out if you work out a muscle it stays healthy and strong if you're a

couch potato where you get your arm in a cast then that muscle atrophies the same

thing happens in the brain if we don't send it a certain amount of signals then

it's going to atrophy so when you have spinal surgery you are typically going

to fuse one or more segments together to two or more segments together and the

motion that used to generate signals for the brain is no

longer there so now the brain is suffering the brain is starving for

signals and the brain starts atrophy so you're essentially starting to get soft

spots of degeneration in the brain so what can chiropractic do for that well

it's not just the moving of bones or moving of joints that generate signals

it is also any kind of pressure or activation of muscles and receptors in

the tissues surrounding the bones and the joints so we can't move the joint if

we think that chiropractic is moving the bone then obviously then this person's

not supposed to have chiropractic because a fused joint is never moving

again but if we understand there's many other ways to activate receptors there's

still plenty that we can do for that person so not only is chiropractic safe

but it is more important than ever because there's less movement in the

spine there is less stimulation from the brain and the brain is starving we need

to do everything we can to get as much signals as much information as possible

up to that brain so that it can function and manage the rest of the body best it

can so if you know someone who has had spinal surgery then make sure that they

get to share this information that you you share this information with them so

that they can start understanding this and then go look for a good chiropractor

understands the neurology of the adjustment don't go to someone who

thinks he's gonna crack that joint that has been fused obviously that's not

going to happen but find someone who can use a gentle adjusting method like

activator or arthri stem or some other tools some other adjusting tool so this

is very important information it is life-saving and if you enjoy this kind

of information and you're new to this channel make sure that you subscribe and

hit that notification bell so that we can keep this information coming your

way and as always thank you so much for

"All I need is my top hair, baby" | Matt Wright - Duration: 1:43.

It's a popular haircut right now.

I see a lot of guys who get haircuts and they cut off all

the hair around the side of their head,

leaving only the top hair, which I imagine

for balding men is infuriating.

(laughter)

So you're walking around, you're having a good day.

You've got your little scope going around,

like "Aaaah, you look fine, Rick".

And then you see some young dude and he's like,

"All I need is my top hair, baby".

And you're like "Damn you!"

It's a different experience for a man

to get a haircut than a woman, you know what I mean?

My girlfriend told me she was getting

her hair cut in May in December.

I was like, "All right, merry Christmas.

"Can we focus?"

(light laughter)

It's just a different thing.

She goes in, she has to find someone she trusts.

My girlfriend ah, has brown hair.

Sometimes she goes and dyes her hair brown.

(laughter)

She's twenty-five years old.

She's not going gray, I don't know

what's going through her head.

She's like "Uuummm, if they're loving me with this chocolate

"do, they're going to love my new gingerbread

"elk hybrid ombre. Whatever. I'm not walking out of here

"without something I can hashtag."

And then she comes in, she be like,

"Notice anything different?"

And I gotta be like, "You have less money."

Is There Such Thing as Passive Income? - Duration: 5:32.

Welcome to The Website Investor.

I'm Jeff Hunt. And today we're going to address the question

is there really such thing as passive

income.

The answer is of course there's such thing

as passive income.

Just go to the bank open a savings account,

put $1,000

and at the end of the year you'll have $1,010

or some small number like that

and it will be very very passive.

Not much research

and no activity required on your part.

But you also have a very limited amount of

income and that's the first point in this idea

of passive income is that return on

investment is correlated to

activity to a great degree.

So, in that example we had very little

activity, very passive income

but our return was very small.

So, generally speaking,

as you find higher ROI projects

there are going to require more activity.

That being said,

there's definitely a continuum

and a scale that we're talking about.

The second thing you should consider when you're thinking about passive

income is that there are a lot of business models particularly

online where the activity is front-end

loaded. You do a lot of work at the very beginning perhaps

after you've bought a website

or certainly if you're building a website

and then many business models allow you to back

off significantly at some point

in the end the income becomes more passive

after that. And that's true online it's also true

offline in some cases where you're building a team

we building automation processes that kind of

take over for you to make things more passive

for you as a leader.

Let's talk about required

activity versus growth oriented activity.

Okay. When we talk about passive income we're thinking

about what are kind of the minimum activities that

you have to do to keep the online business

rolling and that that I'm calling "Required

Activity".

Now, any kind of passive model

we'll talk about business models in just a minute

but like let's say content website you can

develop a content website

and it can be pretty passive ongoing

but you're not going to be growing it passively

very easily.

The more growth that you want the

more activity that's going to be required.

So when we talk about passive income usually

it doesn't accommodate growth so much

so we're just talking about what is the kind of the minimum

required level of activity

and effort. Let's talk about business models for

a second. And I'm just going to cover sort of 3 categories

right now. Content websites,

e-commerce websites,

and SaaS websites (Software as a Service

). In the content realm a lot of times the activity

level can be

front loaded, as I mentioned before,

or delegated where you build the process

for publishing new content maybe you've hired/outsourced

the writing, the editing,

the publishing and so on in which case

it actually can be a fairly passive model.

As I said before if you want to grow things

and you're going to be doing a lot of analysis

and tweaking of the methodology.

E-commerce, for example,

is rarely passive.

There's a lot of just real important required

activity going on there's customer service actions,

there's inventory related actions,

new product development actions,

addressing competition,

bad reviews and all of those kind of things.

It's definitely a more active model

and whereas that kind of thing can also be delegated

and outsourced and automated

and so on. There's still a lot of ongoing activity

associated with e-commerce.

SaaS (Software as a Service)

can also be passive to

some degree when you build the processes

but there's still an element of software that needs

to be taken care of,

customers whose problems

and concerns need to be

addressed and then always

adding-in new functionality new technology.

So I would say that that the SaaS

business depending on how you do it kind of falls

in between content

and e-commerce and its level of passive income

generation ability.

Let me address the final thing

and that is the difference between sort

of an outside investor

and an inside entrepreneur.

Generally speaking there are ways that an investor

can have passive income

and they relate to giving someone else the

job of doing the work.

So you may be investing in a stock

or a real estate deal

where there's a management company

or something like that where you're kind of sitting on

the outside but if you're the entrepreneur

if you're the owner operator the

more you are to the inside than

the outside the more effort you're going to have to

put into businesses.

And of course that effort varies.

As I said earlier by business model

but generally there's kind of a dichotomy there between

being on the inside being on the outside in terms

of the passivity of your investment.

So that's what I have for you from the website investor

today. Go to flipminds.com/today

to find online tools

and resources for your business.

And I'll see you next time.

What Is the Benefit of Using a Reporting Dashboard? - Duration: 2:26.

So reporting in general is actually kind of a difficult thing to do and people don't inherently

understand that out of the gate.

Most of the third-party systems people are used to looking at, whether it's Google Analytics,

whether it's Facebook Analytics.

That is a multi-million and billion dollar organization that is then aggregating and

looking at unstructured data and then structuring it for you.

To then actually dive down into that unstructured data to then understand where some of those

juicy nuggets of information about what campaigns are actually doing what for sales, can be

pretty difficult.

Once you then break down those barriers of what those predetermined analytics tools can

do for you, it gets to be pretty hairy.

And having a dedicated reporting dashboard through a business intelligence tool, and

assistance from someone as myself as a reporting and marketing technology specialist, you can

really then understand...this data needs to be correlated to another one through a unique

ID in this way.

Having that information then, you can customize it for what you're looking for outside of

the predetermined functions that come from another type of reporting dashboard.

So a tried-and-true method of applying reporting for your own business or your own instances

for marketing would be either through Excel or through PowerPoint—basic types of graphs

you can generate out of a sheet-type software.

And those are perfect.

Those are great.

It allows you to then get that information in there to visualize it.

The only problem is...the manual process to actually do that, and the lack of it having

being pulled and automated on a regular basis.

So, in order to do that then, you would have to consistently go to wherever that data is

living, structure it, format it within that sheet itself on a regular basis to then get

the insights.

Whereas if you could automatically connect into some of those systems, tap into that

unstructured data, blend it the way that you need to, and then spit out an automated report,

you could actually move quicker, pivot on the fly, and then handle more information

on a grand scale.

So...

Now would be the perfect time to smash cut to explosions and then...and that's the end.
