Is the stress of your loans, credit card, or other debt keeping you up at night?

Have you ever thought about using a financial coach? Ever wondered what to

look for in one? Well in this video I'll explain what a financial coach is and

the three things you should look for in one to help guide you with your personal

finances. And at the end of this video I'll give you a tip that all financially

successful people do to win with money. So stay tuned.

Greetings and welcome to this video. Financial coach Ben Murphy here. Guiding

you with taking control of your personal finances by helping you first gain

control of yourself. On this channel I share knowledge on best practices for

money habits and personal growth so that you can gain control of your life. If

you're new here consider subscribing, smash the like button below, and leave a

comment. In this video I'm talking about how a financial coach can guide you with

your personal finances and the 3 key things to look for in one. Let me ask

this of you. Do you feel anxiety and overwhelmed in your life due to money

problems caused by student loans and other debt? Do you catch yourself

daydreaming about what it would be like to have no debt and money in the bank?

These are the type of questions that can lead you to using a financial coach. What

is a financial coach you ask. A financial coach is a person who guides you through

changing how you handle your finances and the behavior behind those decisions.

Just like with anything else in life you have to want to change. You have to be

sick and tired of being sick and tired to change behaviors that have caused

your situation. Personal finances are 80% behavior and only 20% head

knowledge. Meaning it's all about the choices you make that impact your

personal finances. Like any good coach a financial coach will hold you

accountable and will make you slightly uncomfortable at times. Just like a

personal fitness coach will push you to your limits during your workout session.

They also will be able to tell if you have been slacking off between sessions. It

does no good to have an awesome workout session with your fitness coach to only

go home, eat poorly, and not engage in any of the training plan you were given.

You have to change your lifestyle and become active to get in the shape and

that is the same in finances as it is with fitness. You have to change your

behavior and the choices that you make with money to win. A financial coach

should have a heart of a teacher to be able to guide you to empower yourself

and develop the skills to make those changes in your life. And here are the

3 things you should look for in a coach. 1) You should have a coach that

understands your situation, They should get to know you and

understand your unique story. Personal finances are personal. 2) They should

provide information. Meaning they help interpret the issues created by complex

financial problems in your life and identify options for you. 3) Most

importantly they should be injecting hope into your situation. Meaning they

provide encouragement and some motivation for you to move forward. This

is key to helping you change. You need a destination and a desire to get there.

Where you are now is not where you need to stay. You've got to keep moving

forward to learn, grow, and change. And these are three of the qualities to look

for and reasons why you might want to use a financial coach. Check out

additional information in the description area below as well as a link

to book a free consultation with me if you are in need of a guide. And here's

your tip of the day. The number one thing the successful people do to build wealth

is to be intentional with their money and have a plan. In finances that plan

is called a budget and that is simply telling your money where to go. Question

of the day. What would you be doing if you had no debt and a

million dollars in the bank right now? Comment below and let us know. Until next

time keep moving forward.

Rita Masese '18 Is Helping Youth with HIV Transition to Adult Care - Duration: 2:02.

Hi! My name is Rita Masese.

I'm a second-year graduate student studying

global health at the Duke Global Health Institute.

Over the summer, I was in Moshi, Tanzania,

working on a project assessing the challenges and facilitators

of effective transition of care from the adolescent clinic

to the adult clinic among HIV-infected youth.

Being born with HIV is no longer a death sentence.

With antiretroviral therapy, youth are beating the odds of survival

and going on to become adolescents, and eventually adults.

Once the adolescents end up transitioning to adulthood,

they have to move from the adolescent clinic to the adult clinic.

However, this transition period is met with a lot of fear and anxiety,

with frequent loss to follow-up.

My project was assessing the challenges

and facilitators of this transition process,

and hopefully the eventual goal is to

form a transition protocol that will make this transition process easier.

I was doing in-depth interviews with HIV-infected youth

where I was asking them what they found to be hard with transition

and what they found to be easy.

My findings were youth who successfully transitioned

successfully transitioned because they had a lot of family and social support.

They also had a heightened sense of maturity

and they have had a positive outlook on living with HIV.

Youth who didn't successfully transition

cited challenges as payment of services in the adult clinic,

whereas the adolescent clinic was free.

They also cited loss of their peer support and network.

And they also cited stigma, particularly from HIV-infected adults

who got HIV behaviorally, as opposed to them

who got it from their parents.

With these findings, we hope to form a transition protocol

that would address all these barriers

and make the transition process easier

and reduce the prevalence of loss to follow-up.

Thank you.

Back to School Advice - School is Scary! - Duration: 8:39.

it's like Fight Club you know if this is your first night you gotta fight this is

that night it's the first day of school if your first day of school Dawg you gotta

fight

like she does terrifying dog yeah okay here's one thing don't have a diary

because somebody will find it read it don't show weakness if somebody bucks up

to you to fight you got to fight that's it

there's no chickening out of it it's terrifying as that is so many punks you

can't little punk him the other guard you know you got to get them just

terrifying every single time I'm always terrified I always was

it's like Fight Club you know if this is your first night you gotta fight it's

the first day of school if your first day of school dog you gotta fight

somebody bucks up to you all right Jeffrey

you gotta I'm condoning child violence here yeah okay so there is this time

when I was in high school this one do you talk mad smacked me and he was like

probably a foot and a half taller than me or some stupid like that

Yuda killed me for sure I was gonna have it I talked smack right back to him this

is all over aim you remember and he was talking shit i al online talking shit

and it was like 8:00 p.m. and he was talking shit now song is shit back there

and it was like a Monday night he's like I'm gonna see you tomorrow it's cool bro

Mike bring it bitch please don't please forget about I purposefully kept myself

near the offices that day and he shoved me into some lockers but it was like

right by the principal's office and I was like dude pussy hit me I fucking

dare you

yeah I was my inner Burton way but you know what he thought I was fucking crazy

after that and he left me alone you remember what pawns are okay if you

don't remember there are these like bottle cap size plastic or heart card

whatever had like sports people on one side and you'd bounce them and if they

flipped you win or you'd lose or whatever I want to tear after school one

day it was like fourth grade I want to tear in our head like I had like ten

going in and I'd like a stack at this point I was like I'm done playing

because you know like you know when you get up in Vegas you got to stop this so

one of my who I thought was my friend goes here let me see let me see what you

won so I start going through them like this like look at this one look at that

one and this one fucker slaps my hands all of my shit went everywhere and all

these fucking kids just Shh when somebody drops some like bread in the

sewers and rats just that's middle school it's fucking terrifying it's

terrifying so with your options you go to middle school or you go to middle

school so you got to learn to fight I cried what was I supposed to do they're

already gone I couldn't fight everybody

I had a binder full of Pokemon cards just sixth grade I don't know I was

hanging out with some kids I hadn't read to one of those ceramic ones she was

pristine Don it was like worth like a hundred bucks or something we might

anyway still got my Pokemon car you bro you do as I'm showing my Pokemon cards

to these kids one of them live it's my Mewtwo know how the hell he did it use

he's pretty good this kid lifts my mute too

I figured it out when I got home I was like okay who had their hands on my

binder little shitbird big I knew little shitbird went to a different school and

I was probably never gonna see him again cuz he was friends with the kid I went

to school so the next day at school I go to the kids that I'm the kid that I

went to school with and I told him hey your friends stole my card if I don't

have my card back by tomorrow I'm gonna beat you within an inch of your life I

gotta kick your ass you give me my card back the next day I got two cards not my

proudest moment but hey you can't steal for me right this is the card the kid

stole for you you fuckin found this yeah no this isn't this I got four McDonald's

it's like solid metal is this open damn bro check that shit out pokey man's c4

this in sixth grade oughta beat your face off so school is terrifying

honestly it's it's good though because it will desensitize you to life so if

you got to fight everyday in middle school and you're gonna find your best

friends getting in hand with them and you're gonna build lifelong

relationships and stuff like one of my friends from middle school I just went

to his his wedding and it was awesome shot at the harmon deep

and all the stuff that you won't be scared of in a couple years like

nobody's gonna want to fight anymore I feel enough people scratch and yeah

and then when you're older and you've graduated college and you're working

somewhere you know some boss screaming at you is not really gonna faze you

because you've gone through worse things you know like having a face full of acne

trying to talk to a girl you like in high school

Alisha that was awful I remember I had to lean against a locker once that was

so nervous so it was fucking bad but you know what

saw my Pokemon cards fall back on those

okay years ago when Napster and LimeWire were around we we had one computer in

the house right this is like post dial-up I think it was still died up on

this computer who's a huge desktop I had LimeWire and this was the only way to

get porn hold on I'm getting to it I because he was like you download it it's

like fucking hell like 300 kilobytes a second and if a porns like 40 megabytes

it takes forever to download right so I would click download and they'd just

leave he walks in there and I'm like 17 at the time 16 17 something like that my

dad's like hey what the hell you doing downloading porn what is this oh I'm so

sorry I can't remember I made up stupid lie but he knew I was full of shit

and he goes to me goes stop watching porn what you gotta do is you gotta talk

to girls you gotta give them roses write some poetry and they'll like you and you

hang out with them when you treat them good yeah it is actually

yes yeah Jeffery you can't even see no more dog

he's so handsome geoffery look handsome today this is his

summer hat

why you having to give all these kids advice you know I listen don't take any

why Bryce do whatever the fuck do you want to do don't listen to me

because what do I know

HyO-Cups Startup Is Growing Disposable Biodegradable Cups | NowThis - Duration: 2:10.

Put the baby gourds inside here and let it grow.

When its grows, when it's mature, you take this off

and then you let the gourds dry.

In Japan, people grow watermelons that are grown

in little boxes and they become square. Its looks kind of,

you know, quirky and weird but it's also easy to stack

and easy to transport because it's a square. In a way,

it's, you know, the same kind of thinking, like giving nature

a little bit of a nudge to form it in shapes that would be more usable.

Without it, you know, we would have to make an expensive plate

and a mold. And you would have to make thousands of them

for it to make sense. But now with this technology it makes it

really easy for us to replicate. Although it's a natural process

you can give it a little nudge and create something that's

not exactly industrialized but something that could be, for instance, stacked.

Biodegradable cups, most of the time, they claim to be compostable,

biodegradable, however, they have an interior lining that's actually,

the water proofing membrane is actually made out of chemicals

and plastics. That becomes difficult to separate from the container

itself. With this cup, its really, there's nothing-

everything's organic.
