Waching daily Aug 26 2018

Life is a constant river of change, and we need to learn to flow with it in order to

live stress-free.

Below is an inspiring story coming from the East that illustrates in a vivid way the reality

of impermanence.

Buddha was traveling through a forest.

The day was hot — it was just midday — he felt thirsty, so he said to his disciple Ananda,

"Go back.

We crossed a little stream.

You go back and bring, fetch, some water for me."

Ananda went back, but the stream was very small and some carts were passing through

it.

The water was disturbed and had become dirty.

All the dirt that had settled in it had come up, and the water was not drinkable now.

So Ananda thought, "I shall have to go back."

He came back and he said to Buddha, "That water has become absolutely dirty and it is

not drinkable.

Allow me to go ahead.

I know there is a river just a few miles away from here.

I will go and fetch water from there."

Buddha said, "No!

You go back to the same stream."

As Buddha had said this Ananda had to follow it, but he followed it with half a heart as

he knew that the water would not be brought.

And time was being unnecessarily wasted and he was feeling thirsty, but when Buddha said

it he had to go.

Again he came back and he said, "Why did you insist?

That water is not drinkable."

Buddha said, "You go again."

And as Buddha said it, Ananda had to follow.

The third time he reached the stream, the water was as clear as it had ever been.

The dust had flowed away, the dead leaves had gone, and the water was pure again.

Then Ananda laughed.

He brought the water and he came dancing.

He fell at Buddha's feet and he said, "Your ways of teaching are miraculous.

You have taught me a great lesson — that just patience is needed and nothing is permanent."

TRUMP SIGNING LANDMARK EXECUTIVE ORDER – IS HE BETRAYING HIS SUPPORTERS?

Democrats have been whipped into a full frenzy by the mainstream media this week amidst reports

that illegal immigrant children are being separated from their families at the U.S./Mexico

border.

Now, new reports are coming in that indicate that President Donald Trump is planning to

submit to these Democrats in a disturbing way.

Mediaite reported that Fox News reporter John Roberts said that sources have told him that

Trump is thinking about taking executive action to reverse his administration's policy of

separating immigrant children from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border.

"Donald Trump considering some sort of executive action today to allow children to stay with

detained parents through immigration adjudication process," Roberts tweeted.

"Sources say Admin believes it is likely to draw a court challenge on the basis of

Flores v Reno."

Trump has spent the last few days slamming Democrat lawmakers, claiming that its all

up to Congress to come up with a fix for the country's current immigration system.

Though Trump has rejected the notion that he can stop the separation of children by

altering the policy, it now seems that he may have changed his mind.

Moments ago, Trump cancelled the congressional picnic at the White House, and reporters say

that he is calling the media together for him to sign this executive order.

Six Blind Men Who Come To Find Out What An Elephant Is - Duration: 1:32.

Six

blind men once went to find out what an elephant is.

The first blind man touched the legs of the elephant, being a blind man he could only

touch and not see.

He touched the legs of the elephant and came to the conclusion that the elephant is like

a big pillar or a tree; straight, round, long and strong with thick skin.

The second man touched the tail of the elephant and came to the conclusion that an elephant

is like a rope with a brush at the end and it can move right and left very easily in

air.

The third man touched the ear of the elephant and said, "Elephant is a flat animal, like

a hand fan" The fourth man who had touched only the trunk

of the elephant said "No, the elephant is like a snake or a tree branch, rough on the

surface and is hollow inside.

The fifth man who had touched its belly said "An elephant is like a big wall, but with

curves here and there" The sixth man who had touched only the tusk

said "An elephant is like a pipe or spear and very strong"

After they found out they had disagreement, they went to a man who had eyes and had seen

the elephant.

Each explained his side of the story and asked him who was right among them.

The man who had seen the elephant said: "You are all partially correct, Elephant has features

that you explained but it is much more" The sensual eye is just like the palm of the

hand.

The palm has not the means of covering the whole of the beast.
