Welcome to the Sunday Shave Of The Day! Hey Eric here with Adventures In Wet

Shaving and welcome back it's good to see you if this is your first time here

Butcher "For Gentlemans Use" and now this is just a great big beautiful razor

fifteen sixteenths barbers notch smiling blade and it's only very nice really

enjoyed this one this is one my favorite razors now for a soap tonight Taylor

of Old Bond Street Sandalwood Herbal so this is a Sunday Sandalwood Shave yes it is and

I've had that puck booming so pour out that bowl water we're going to put that

on as a pre shape and get this thing going yep what a wonderful scent on this

one

there you go nice very nice and a brilliant scent this is one of my

favorite sandalwood since I believe it seems like there's some kind of floral

hand in there as well alright yeah we're using my Omega 10098 wonderful brush

Ian let's get it loaded up so how you doing alright are you having

a good weekend I hope so yeah I hope you're having a good weekend being able

to spend some time with family and friends

alright the things that matter alright that's what's good you got it got a lock

on the things that matter and being positive is a good part of it so I

really enjoy being with my family and friends because it's a positive

environment that is good for me yep and hopefully you're well and the

weekends treating you nice yep and good shaves are you having

are you having good shaves I hope so yeah hope your good shaves maybe even

great shave right yeah okay I think I am pretty much set with this so I've made

that wonderful tremendous mess that I normally make so that's a good thing

yeah put some of that on the brush we're gonna put the rest right here to face

yep

also I wanted to thank all my new subscribers and all of you that have

been with me from the beginning thank you so much really appreciate you and it

is so nice that we've been able to build up this community where we can really

enjoy this hobby of wet shaving yeah you know share information freely and really

alright there we are now as to what we're gonna do is

primarily it's gonna be cross the grain on my neck it's gonna be against the

grain on my cheeks and against the grain right here as well so let's get going

and this razor really gets that little divot right there brilliantly

that smiling blade just does the trick yeah

there we go pass to complete yeah now let's get that washed up see how we

did all right I think it is wonderful Wow

okay those cheeks are brilliant right where they are Wow nice really good

right now time for the half pass yep so now in the half pass this is

primarily gonna be across the grain on my jawline and my neck yeah I don't need

to do anything more than that because everything else is good I just got to

finish up that neck and this is how I figured out for me to get my neck really

good yeah this is the works for me

it really does now I'm not suggesting that you try this or anything however

you need to try the ankles that are going to work for you when you're

shaking and this is how I felt worked for me now for you it may work a little

different I don't know you'll have to figure that out let's do it

let's see how we did yeah Wow Wow now that's a good shape incredible

incredible another shave in the books yes it is now this is Alan everywhere

again that's antiseptic and astringent so good for the skin yeah

right so there's that and for aftershave okay

there's lavender witch hazel yeah now this I believe goes well with the

soap because I'm telling you I I feel there's a floral note in there and it's

mmm and it's good it's good I like the flavor I like the scent on this it is so

wonderful okay next for the aftershave cologne

ething morasseau red and this again is sandalwood so this is the Sunday see the

what's happening guys Steve Mayeda here we're in Austin Texas and we're gonna

cover ten breaths ten breaths is a breathing exercise that

I do with my clients that I do myself to cut our anxiety it takes about a minute

you can extend it longer if you need to but the reason why we want to get

ourselves out of anxiety is because when we are full of anxiety when we're

anxious we're not ourselves we're distortion of that we are an

interpretation of who we are via our fear our fight-or-flight mechanism all

sorts of different stuff pulling at us and sadly these days we think that's

normal and that's not the power and you has to

start with the foundation of you so let's get started on this breathing

exercise you can do it anywhere like I said it just takes a short amount of

time and all I need to do is be able to breathe in order to do it so what we're

going to do is we're going to take ten breaths and we're gonna go fully in and

fully out so a little bit different than our wim HOF breathing because we're

doing the full exhale and then on the tenth breath we want to we want to hold

that on the inhale again if you're familiar with wim HOF breathing it's

different you're going to feel an oxygen high from it you're going to feel a

reset from it and if you want to repeat it you can do it two three times and

then go about your day it's gonna pump you up pretty well and usually keeps me

good for about an hour an hour and a half or cuts my anxiety right down so

let's do it and like I said I only take a minute all

right so let's go ten breaths fully in fully out we call these bellows breaths

all right let's go

now here I'm gonna talk but we just hold this here we might get a little

light-headed we might feel our body tingling in certain areas we might feel

a certain euphoria if we need to drop down to our knees or anything that's

fine but we want to hold that breath for as long as we can to relax I have to

breathe there because right now I'm talking you through it it adds a little

bit more stress to the situation but we should be able to hold our breath then

for maybe 30 seconds a minute some people can do up to two minutes three

minutes and so on but it's not a competition of that it's about resetting

your body now as we get into it or if you ever work with me personally I'll

show you some advanced extensions to this that will really put you in a

pretty crazy space but for now what you want to do is just do that quick easy

breathing exercise that'll reset you if you need to do it two or three times go

ahead and try it but the goal here is to be put into our real mind or real body

rather than living there's a reaction to that in any case I'm gonna go meet my
