India and Russia traditionally have been strong partners since the ties were

forged during Soviet Union both countries supported each other stance in

Kashmir and in Afghanistan but Russia's recent engagement with Pakistan and

close cooperation with China have raised several questions with an Indian

establishment so why is Russia moving close to China and Pakistan and how is

this going to impact ties with India to find out all these answers

let's check this report if you like our content subscribe to our Channel and

after you subscribe don't forget to click on bell icon India is one of the

world's largest arms importer and the major portion of its imports comes from

Russia in the past few years India replace her Russia with Israel and

America as a top source for arms New Delhi is upgrading large portion of

military hardware which were originally made during Soviet Union India is

upgrading its military hardware to maintain an edge over its rival China

because China also acquires sophisticated weapons from Russia

India's diversion of arms import source have affected Russian arms sales which

supports large portion of its economy Russian economy is seriously struggling

these days due to Western sanctions recessions and falling oil prices Russia

is trying to boost its economy by forging ties with new nation to explore

new markets and the nation who have similar strained relation with the West

China and Pakistan are the best option at this point

Moscow is interested in expanding businesses in Pakistan it has offered

technical support for power plants which may later help to open gateway for

Russian energy export Moscow and Islamabad had already inked two billion

dollar deal for construction of gas pipeline from Lahore to Karachi now it

also wants to invest in Pakistan agriculture technology which includes

drip irrigation and desert farming same as what Israel does in Indian

agriculture sector Russia's approach to Pakistan is more than economic interest

Moscow wants to regain influence in Afghanistan to control ISIS and drug

traffickers Pakistan's plays very important role in Afghanistan this is

why US still needs Pakistan Pakistan has also granted Russia access to warm water

Gwadar Port which is strategically located near Strait of Hormuz around 35%

of world's Seaborne oil export passes through Strait of Hormuz China who have

almost similar problems like Russia with the West naturally turns it into close

partners today Russia and China's relation have reached to its highest

level their bilateral relations are expanding supported by high profile

energy and defense deals today China is getting bigger and better day by day

hence there is increase in energy consumption and demand now it has become

world's second largest oil consumer it doesn't want to entirely rely on Middle

East oil imports traveling through disputed South China Sea therefore China

is diversifying its energy import source from Middle East to Russia Russia is

also diversifying its energy export source from Europe to China energy

exports make up more than half of total Russian exports but energy exports alone

aren't going to help Russian economy due to falling oil prices therefore it had

to find another option China and Russia are working on their ambitious project

to integrate Eurasian landmass with that purpose Russia established Eurasian

Economic Union and on other hand China's one belt one Road initiative under which

Beijing will finance to create projects and build infrastructure in multiple

countries so that Eurasia can be physically and economically integrated

with China at its core looking at growing sino-russian alliance there is a

possibility of linking these two projects this will be a win-win

situation for both the countries with belt and Road initiative Russia hopes

more Chinese investment

China's belt and Road initiative is good for Russians but at the same time it

also raises deep insecurities with in Russian establishment because China's

new Silk Route passes through several former Soviet states and Moscow fears

that Chinese good might invade its market in post-soviet states this will

decrease Russian export in this areas first creating new problems for already

dooming Russian economy Russia established Eurasian Economic Union in

hopes of creating Russian dominated geopolitical bloc

therefore Russia sometimes remains suspicious and cautious about increasing

Chinese activities in that region based on current growth rate it is predicted

Chinese economy will dominate 21st century race to expand dominance in

Eurasia can trigger a new great game between Russia and China in future the

same great game which was seen in most recent period of history between British

and Russian Empire in 19th century but today Russia is not powerful as it was

during 19th century it cannot counter this problem alone it requires another

power which can compete China's growing influence and here comes India India is

another major strategic partner of Russia after China and one of the

fastest-growing major economies in the world if everything goes right its

economy is all set to boom to be among world's top 3 in future today Russia

needs heavy investment and it doesn't want to put all the eggs in one basket

by entirely relying on China for investment Moscow wants heavy investment

in its Far-East due to geopolitical reason China is a neutral option but at

the same time it is also bit sensitive about growing Chinese presence in its

far eastern region particularly about increasing Chinese population which are

settling there India's both investment and presence will be a balancing act

with the recent visit of Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj at Eurasia

economic forum India aims to achieve 30 billion dollar trade target

with a Russian forest by 2025 Hence for Russia relations with India is as much

as important its relation with China there is a link given on the video if we

like to know more on Russia and China relations

MAINSTREAM NEWS QUIETLY ADMITS THAT FOOD QUALITY IS A MAJOR CAUSE OF CANCER - Duration: 4:56.

MAINSTREAM NEWS QUIETLY ADMITS THAT FOOD QUALITY IS A MAJOR CAUSE OF CANCER

BY Alex Pietrowski,

For years it has been a supposed mystery, but it is finally being acknowledged that

a primary cause of cancer in the world today is diet.

Studies are now showing that obesity plays an enormous role in ones chances of getting

cancer, and the main cause of obesity is the type of foods people eat.

It is in large part a lifestyle disease, and the most important relevant lifestyle choice

is food.

Overall, we estimated that 40.8% of incident cancer cases were attributable to exposure

to the 24 factors included in the analysis (Table 2).

Tobacco smoking was responsible for the greatest cancer burden, accounting for an estimated

15.7% of all incident cancer cases (2485 cases), followed by physical inactivity and excess

body weight, which were responsible for an estimated 7.2% and 4.3% of incident cancer

cases, respectively.

All other exposures of interest were estimated to be responsible for less than 4.0% of incident

cancer cases each.

More specifically, researchers are pointing out the connection between the bodys insulin

response to food and cancer metabolism.

In short, there is a paradigm shift taking place and we are admitting that food can either

feed or starve cancer cells.

Here, in a piece for The Los Angeles Times, writer Sam Apple explains this connection:

researchers have made progress in understanding the diet-cancer connection.

The advances have emerged in the somewhat esoteric field of cancer metabolism, which

investigates how cancer cells turn the nutrients we consume into fuel and building blocks for

new cancer cells.

Largely ignored in the last decades of the 20th century, cancer metabolism has undergone

a revival as researchers have come to appreciate that some of the most well-known cancer-causing

genes, long feared for their role in allowing cancer cells to proliferate without restraint,

have another, arguably even more fundamental role: allowing cancer cells to eat without

restraint.

This research may yield a blockbuster cancer treatment, but in the meantime it can provide

us with something just as crucial knowledge about how to prevent the disease in the first

place. [Source] Does this mean that these new revelations

about cancer and the foods which cause it will trigger a widespread shift in the consumption

habits of ordinary people?

Will people switch to real food and abandon fake food?

Could it also mean that major food companies will face some degree of liability for producing

addictive foods which are extremely high in sugars, artificial sweeteners, refined carbohydrates

and other ingredients which trigger the bodys insulin response?

Will we now see a link emerge between diabetes and cancer, since diabetes is now the fastest

growing disease in America?

Meanwhile, expensive cancer treatments are increasingly being recognized as a common

detriment to surviving cancer, and all the while alternative treatments are still being

suppressed and banished from the country.

The cancer industrial complex is negligent in warning people that chemotherapy is now

known to actually make some cancers spread and make some tumors more aggressive.

Government and its myriad regulatory agencies work diligently to prevent access to natural

or alternative cancer treatments, and doctors and the mainstream media give the impression

that the causes of cancer are a mystery.

Its important to remember that there is a wealth of information on how diet affects

both the likelihood to get cancer, but also how diet can play a significant role in surviving

cancer.

Celebrity Tommy Chong told us how diet and cannabis cured his cancer.

Blogger and activist Chris Wark recorded his recovery from cancer with the help of improved

diet, and now shares survivor stories.

It is also important to remember that programs like Raw for Thirty are demonstrating significant

results in helping people to reverse the symptoms of diabetes by switching to a raw foods diet.

Final Thoughts

Healthy choices clearly have a big impact on cancer, and now that mainstream sources

are telling us that almost half of all cancers may potentially be preventable with dietary

and lifestyle changes, we have all the info we need to drastically reduce cancer rates.

What Is Attention? How Can We Be Attentive? | J. Krishnamurti - Duration: 9:17.

Hello everyone, my name is Andrew and welcome to the video.

So today I'd like to talk about attention because in my previous videos, I always throw

out there, we got to be attentive, attention.

I kind of sneak it in there several times and our approach to this is usually, "Okay,

I am attentive" or "I'm trying to be attentive" or "How do I be attentive?"

So I want to dive into this a bit deeper in this video.

So what is attention?

And how does one be attentive?

So attention is essentially sensitivity, and sensitivity is essentially, intelligence.

Now attention has nothing to do with desire or will.

It has no relationship with that ,however, when one hears, "Be attentive" then that

desire, that will power, is there and attention is that immediate, human sensory engagement

with "What is" what is actually happening at that particular piece in time.

So attention involves no attendee who is attending and why is that?

Why is attention something where there must be no one who is attending?

Or else we see that whoever it is that is attending, becomes that center in which a

limited action stems from and therefore whenever anything is limited because it is based off

of thought and because it is thought, then that limitation basically narrows the field.

So we are not attending, which is a wholesome aspect, being holy attentive to everything.

Thought can never do that because thought is always limited in its nature.

So Krishnamurti talks about concentration and willpower being the most deadliest things

and why would he say something like that?

Because aren't we always concentrating, focusing on things?

It is our program that we have been taught to do our whole lives, that we are telling

and teaching each other to do.

And hasn't it started in school when we are trying to study or work on an assignment?

And all of a sudden, someone taps you on the shoulder and says, "Hey! hey buddy!" and

we look around and we find who it is and we start to respond and the teacher notices this

and says, "Hey!

Concentrate, focus on your work, so you can get good grades!"

So immediately you're kind of like, "Okay...

I have to concentrate on this assignment."

And therefore, that implies resisting other things around us, limiting our awareness.

And this is the result of desire, which is will, which is the culmination of desire,

the peak.

Now desire, as we talked about before in previous videos is that there's nothing wrong with

desire.

Desire is like a very thin thread.

We desire and then forget about it, but that willpower basically thickens and strengthens

this thread of desire, that is attachment, that is very hard to break through, that conditioning.

So when we are concentrating, when there is willpower involved, we are actually getting

in our own way.

We are resisting, we are attaching to whatever it is we are concentrating on, and therefore,

we are wasting our energy.

Because we are "Distracted."

And Krishnamurti talks about going into this word, distraction, why do we use this word,

distraction?

Because distraction implies something foreign, that is separated from us, that is affecting

us, and therefore, out of this separation, there is this constant battle between, "What

I desire to achieve from concentrating on this battle" and "Some separate foreign

thing that is going on."

And there is no real learning when this battle is going on, because we are so focused on

just this battle, that we are missing all the beauty that is actually going on.

So attention, if you ask, "How do I be attentive?"

To find out what attention is actually "Not."

(Now this is what Krishnamurti talks about as negation) To find out what attention is

"Not" and to really see that with your whole being, your mind, your heart, all your

senses, to really see what attention is "Not" as a fact for ourselves.

That very, being aware, of what attention is "Not" at that time that we are inattentive,

is attention.

Do you see how that works?

If we try a different route and try to pursue what attention "Is," then we are caught

right back into a desire, which is strengthened through willpower.

So I hope everyone had a fun, safe Halloween.

I absolutely didn't do anything.

I just sat on my bed and played Hearthstone a little bit and got a lot of gold.

Hearthstone is a card game, digital card game, but anyways just giving you a little small

update on what I've been doing.

Card games and reading this amazing book right here, but yeah, so thanks again for listening

and as always, stay awesome, and I'll see you all in the next video, bye bye.

Employer Chat: What is the application process and what documents are required? - Duration: 2:29.

In terms of the application process can you take us

through so from when you apply to when you start teaching what does that

look like sure so it does end up being about a three to four month process I

think from the date of application to the date of starting in China the first

part is actually the shortest so when you apply to EF your application will be

reviewed by a recruiter such as myself and then we will reach out to you for

more information and then eventually for an interview as well and then assuming

that the interview is positive and you accept an offer that we makes you then

we go into the visa document collection process that first process that I just

mentioned usually happens within a week it's very very quick so the visa

document collection phase that takes much much longer so unfortunately the

first month is usually the most work intensive on the part of the teachers so

that's when you're collecting a lot of different documents submitting them to

EF so that we can translate them into Mandarin and then submit them for your

work permit and then after that usually first month is what it takes most

teachers to take to see all of those then we go into about a thirty to forty

five-day waiting period while the Chinese government processes through it

so out of those three to four months most of it is just kind of waiting for

your work permit to be returned to you and then once you get your work permit

that's when you can apply for your physical work visa with the Chinese

consulate in your home country all right great

and in terms of the the documentation that you need is it copies of your

TEFL certificate bachelors yep so that's definitely the TEFL is very very

important and the Chinese government requires it's called an authentication

process so that they can be sure that your TEFL is real and approved and

it's not necessarily complicated in terms of what the teacher needs to do it

just ends up being a bit of a long processing time so the basic overview is

you have to get a copy of your TEFL notarized then authenticated by your local

government and then authenticated by the Chinese consulate and like it's that most

of the time you're just mailing it out to these different places waiting for

them to process through it and then send it back to you so there's again not that

much work the actually needs to be done on the part of the teacher it's just that

they have to wait for it to be returned back to them

Red Flags that Selfishness is Corrupting Your Marriage: Clip from Podcast 196 - Duration: 3:08.

So what are some red flags that we might be letting selfishness kind of corrupt our marriage?

Do you see any red flags with couples?

You know I think if you're trying to manipulate your spouse in any way whether it's on a small level or a big level,

that's probably gonna be backed by selfishness. You wanted to get your way.

It may just be what you want for dinner and, you know, maybe that's okay everyone's fault,

but don't let it spread out where that becomes a pattern or what are you doing that all the time.

If I'm consistently trying to get Nancy to do what I want or buy what I want or go where I want above her wishes and I don't include her wishes,

then that's gonna be selfishness

and it's gonna erode.

So, those are some things I think that come to my mind. Other ideas?

Yeah, I think that makes a lot of sense I think selfishness is so tricky,

because I think the more selfish you are the harder it is for you to see it.

I think it's hard when it comes to the red flags with this,

cause I think it's gonna be hard for you to see those red flags in yourself, unfortunately.

And so I think praying and asking God,

"Lord reveal the selfishness in me. Help me to see where I'm being selfish in my marriage, so that I can improve and help me to be selfless."

Because I do I think that's really hard for us to see it,

but I agree on that on the manipulation part.

I think a lot of people ask questions in a way that they are trying to get the answer they want

or just playing games.

I talk to people at times. It's like "Oh man, the games that they play with their spouse."

I'm like let's just be honest and have clarity and truth and trust and marriage like no games for me,

like unless it's a board game, not manipulation games.

Yes, seriously.

If you find yourself saying don't you agree with this or don't you think this,

I mean you're already setting your spouse up to you're just paving the way and you want to respond a certain way.

If your spouse is saying to you a lot. Well you really seem selfish or you're so selfish or something.

Take a look at yourself. Just take time to do it, don't discount that.

Then if if your spouse is selfish, it's okay to let them know. I mean try to do it in a way where they'll hear it.

Maybe, you know, I've really felt you were selfish and this is how it affected me,

as opposed to just blasting them, which they're not gonna hear what you're saying anyway.

But it's okay to call your spouse out on that I think, just the way God would want you to do it.

Nancy, her Type-A, has helped me a lot because she did call me out and say you know that's not fair,

I think you've being selfish here and so it made me look at it in a different way.

So she certainly was a big help in me overcoming a lot of selfishness.

Yes! That's awesome. I love that.
