Greater support needed for child victims of sexual violence - UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador - Duration: 1:11.

Put this on your head.

It looks very pretty.

How often do you get calls?

I receive up to 1,600 calls a day.

I think protecting children and ending violence

has a lot to do with men also being a part of it.

Parents need to be educated, and they need to have a relationship with their children,

where they can tell their children to be careful.

Low Carb Green Smoothie Bowl Recipe - Duration: 7:37.

Hello and welcome back to my channel.

Today I'm going to show you how to make

this low-carb keto green smoothie Bowl

it is so easy to put together so yum

and delicious and before I get into the

video though, if you're new to my channel make

sure that you subscribe for more

low-carb keto diet inspirations and

check down below for a blog post where I

will share loads more ideas and flavor

combos that are low carb Keto diets

friendly and also the original

recipe for this actually comes from one

of my ebooks which is full of low carb

smoothies and shakes, so I'll leave that

down below it's on Amazon so you

could download it to your Kindle, if

you don't have a Kindle you can get a

free reading app as well so I'll leave

the link to that down below for you to

check out. Yesterday I actually

shared a video of foods to help you when

you have a sore throat and as you can

hear I'm talking a bit softer than

normal my throat feels a lot better but

it's still a little bit sore so I just

felt like making a really nourishing

cooling smoothie Bowl and I thought I

would share the process with you because

these are so fun to make and so

yum and delicious so without any

further ado let's get straight into the

recipe, grab your blender and into that

we're going to pop a half a cup of

your milk of choice, I am using I've got

this combination almond coconut milk

it's about a half a cup going in this is

what I like to use almond coconut with

almond milk and not not canned coconut

milk, well I suppose you could use canned

coconut milk but I like using almond

milk or if regular milk is fine for you

then use just regular milk, whatever you

want and then we are going to add a

quarter of a cup of cream, yep cream

going in, now for sweetness I am using

stevia

that is my sweetener of choice use 1/2 a

teaspoon of whatever sweetness you like

that's gone in, now for greens I'm not

using spinach I'm not using kale I'm

using two other ingredients which I just

love in the smoothie is just one of my

all-time favorites and the two

ingredients are cucumbers, got half a cup

of very roughly chopped cucumber going in

when I first experimented with this recipe I

wasn't sure how the flavors would go

together and they are so good and the

other ingredient is avocado I'm going to

use a quarter of a quarter of an avocado

I'm just going to pop the pip out and grab a

quarter and dice it up nice and small,

right and I've chopped my avocado and

I'm just going to scoop that into my

smoothie, you get any extra that's okay

it just makes it so creamy, cucumber and

avocado

I've never really thought of putting

together and when I did, so good, now as I'm

having this for a meal I'm going to add

some protein powder to it just to round

it out and this is just a whole meal

bowl full so I'm going to add and not

whole scoop more like half of a scoop

I've got about a half a scoop a little

bit more than a half a scoop, do as

much as you really want to add in it

also thickens up a smoothie makes it

even thicker and depending on the flavor

of your protein powder it's obviously

going to change the flavor of the

smoothie I've got this really lovely

vanilla flavored one which almost has

like a marshmallow flavor to it, so

it just is yum and I'm quite happy

adding that in but I've had it without

if you don't want protein powder you can

leave that step out for sure and now

we're just adding in ice, how cute is my

ice tray, I'm just going to add in four

ice cubes one, two, making a mess with my hands, three

and four, just again it'll make it just

so nice and frosty and just a perfect

soothing meal and I will just pop it on

to blend right we're all good to go

let's give it a blend

and turn it off make sure that it's off

and we'll just give the sides of it a little

scrape down and just help if there's

anything stuck down the bottom then

remember to remove your spoon before

putting your blender back on again

oh it's better okay, that's creamy to my

liking, yeah that's definitely thick

enough and now we'll just pour it into a

bowl, okay I've got my big bowl of course

you can pour this into a cup and see how

thick it is, drink it if you want but I

like to have it in a bowl, now we are

going to add toppings,

now remember check down below I will

have a blog post with loads of ideas for

toppings and everything that I'm going

to show you what I'm gonna do you can of

course go crazy crazy just be as

creative as you want to be I'm just

going to add firstly a little layer of

strawberries, my strawberries aren't very

happy looking, but you'd be surprised how

far, I've only got two strawberries yeah

you don't need to do the

most, as you can see, the most beautiful

design and you can still, it still looks

good because it just looks so pretty and

colorful oh yeah look at that

so I've got some strawberries to start

and now I'm going to add a teaspoon of

chia seeds down the middle, love chia seeds so

much and it's so full of fiber and

calcium and so many good healthy

vitamins and minerals and now I want a

crunch factor and remember we're low

carb so the granola and all oats and

that is out the question so what I'm

using for my crunch factor is nuts I'm

going to add some crushed macadamias on

to the side there, again I am not the

most precise of people I'm quite sure

that you can do a better job with these

if you recreate this dish, though any of

my recipes pop them on Instagram and

then make sure that you tag me at

yummyinspires is my name on there I'd love to

see what you do in your bowl, I can bet

yours will be way more creative than

mine and we're messing it up even more

let's move him there and that's better

that's done take a closer look at the

low carb smoothie Bowl I'm taking you up

there you go, look you can see the berries,

chia seeds macadamia and of course I've

spilt one on the side. So there you go that

is how you make the low carb green

smoothie Bowl it's so good it's such a

yummy breakfast a yummy low-carb way to

enjoy smoothies that just look so pretty

you see these on Instagram but it's a

little trickier with low-carb because we

don't really use bananas and cups of

frozen berries so I prefer a little bit

of berries on top and yes that

underneath might be a little more liquid

than what you're used to but it's holding

up the ingredients quite fine I feel and

so there you go that is the recipe for you,

make sure that you check down below for

the full blog post and loads more

topping ideas, I've got so many ideas I'll

pop them down below in the blog post and

and make sure you leave a like and

subscribe for more yummy inspirations

just like this and leave a comment let

me know what flavor combo would you do

for your low carb smoothie in a bowl

your low carb smoothie bowl

I look forward to reading it and we'll see you again soon

bye.

What Really Motivates Salespeople? | Jeff Schneider - Sandler Training - Duration: 2:16.

Salespeople are fascinating, at least to me.

I mean, managing them can feel like herding cats sometimes and they're all different,

right?

But what do you think really motivates salespeople?

I'm guessing money is the first thing that comes to mind?

When you look at many sales management structures, sales compensation is a number one lever that

they tend to place the most emphasis on.

Commission levels and accelerators and incentive trips, things like that.

But is money really the top motivator?

Let's investigate this a little bit more.

If you haven't read it yet, pick up a copy of "Drive" by Daniel Pink.

It's a great book and in it, he uses a lot of social behavior research to pretty much

prove that compensation is not the number one motivator for anyone - including salespeople.

Remember, Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs basically says that the lower needs have to be met first.

For most salespeople in America today, an income of between 50 and 100,000 dollars is

sufficient to meet their basic needs and above that every incremental dollar is weighed against

the effort necessary to be able to gain it.

This is what economists call the Law of Diminishing Marginal Returns.

Now, keep in mind that your reps won't tell you this.

In fact, many of them probably aren't even aware of what their true motivations are,

so how can you discover them?

You may want to ask them and for a lot of reps what you might hear is they like contests

and incentives, particularly if the result is affirmation and praise for them.

Sellers, like most people, want to feel that they are part of a team and that their contributions

matter and so contests and other types of incentives in which they receive affirmation

and praise tend to go a long ways.

In fact, sellers will often leave a high-paying job where they're not valued in order to work

for a company that may pay less, but they actually feel like their contributions matter.

Why don't you read "Drive" by Daniel Pink and send me an email, let me know what you

think.

my YouTube channel or - better yet - if you're in downtown Portland, visit my training center

Good selling.

The Race for the Brain. Mind control research in Norway. 1/2 - Duration: 13:21.

This is one of Norway's most famous brain researchers

The US Army used Norwegian patients

in brain research

Welcome and thank's for watching Rikets Tilstand

Tonight we're starting in Stryn

At a nursing home in Stryn

we find Erling

deaf and silent

Before Erling disappeared into himself

he claimed a doctor had mounted antennas

into his head

Erling even claimed he had tried

to pull the antennas out

but now he is silent

and if he could talk

we would most likely not believe him anyway

so Erling has been sitting like this since the early 1960s

looking out the window

Normally we would leave Erling here

the world is full of people with an idea about

psychiatry cooperating with the CIA, NASA,

the Norwegian Labour Party and God knows who

and that the government operates small wires

into the head of people

in order to remotely control them

this is of course nonsense

but it would be interesting to investigate just one story

The first thing we need to find out is

who is Erling

Erling was born in 1922

as one of 8 siblings

strong, athletic and popular

he was an athlete, a shooter and a woodsman

but he was also unlucky

a car he drove burned up

and he became almost broke

further difficulties made Erling depressed

people in the area started to talk

he came to an institution

it became several institutions

and then he ended up

at Gaustad psychiatric hospital

and at Gaustad he was treated by

brain researcher Carl Wilhelm Sem-Jacobsen

Erling said it was Sem-Jacobsen

that mounted the antennas

Sem-Jacobsen is dead

but who was he

he was admired

he was a friend of King Olav

Sem-Jacobsen was famous

he did research on the human brain

and was known as one of the worlds foremost in his field

among other things he was active

in the US space program

Sem-Jacobsen's memory wall was filled with greetings

from astronauts he had worked with

Here at Gaustad

a locked in patient and a famous doctor met

the year was 1961

and the doctor had all the power

Per J Isdahl

has been chief psychologist at Gaustad hospital

he has investigated the conditions

Gaustad was a really closed environment

where the patients was available for

the system

Not the other way around?

No

The patients was there for the system?

Yes

In the archives of the Norwegian Board of Health Supervision

we find a copy of a letter where

Sem-Jacobsen apply an American fund for money

he writes that in Norway

one can operate on the patients

without the patients consent

In Norway no patients sue the hospital

This work has been developed

with huge support from

the American Air Force and the Federal Aviation Agency

He got American money

in several archives we find copies of research contracts

Sem-Jacobsen signed with

the Army, Navy and the Air Force in the USA

In the early 1960s

he got about three million NOK

to do research for the Pentagon

this equals 22 million NOK in todays monetary value

Already in 1956

Sem-Jacobsen built his own laboratory at Gaustad

it went fast thanks to personal engagement from

Health Director, Karl Evang

Minister of Social Affairs, Gudmund Harlem

and Prime Minister, Einar Gerhardsen

And such an advanced laboratory

we have not had in psychiatry

either before or after

Today the laboratory is demolished

just the cement tracks in the wall remains

Sem-Jacobsens archive has also disappeared

We have to go back to Erling

from Erlings medical records

we learn that he was operated in the head

but what kind of operation was it?

In several archives we find remains of

Sem-Jacobsen's research

at this time Sem-Jacobsen experimented

with placing electrodes into the brain

surgeons drilled holes and placed the electrodes

down into the deeper layers

this way Sem-Jacobsen could measure the brain activity

and send in weak electrical impulses

he let the electrodes remain in the brain

for weeks and months

he solved this practically

by mounting junction boxes on the patients heads

the boxes made it possible

to connect the patients brains

to the apparatuses when convenient

maybe this was what Erling called antennas

which he tried to pull out

When Erling was released

from Sem-Jacobsens laboratory in 1961

he had changed personality

his family explains that Erling had become reclusive

paranoid and angry

the year after Erling was hospitalized again

a new doctor lobotomized him

that destroyed everything

Erling became gradually more and more silent

by the window

It seems Norway could deliver the American Army

something they really needed

brains

in the 1950s and 60s the patients at Gaustad

was approximately defenseless

but if we are going to understand more of this

we need to search for a wider context

we need to dig backwards in time

trough the USA's own brain research

we have to go backwards into the cold war

The Korean war

the year was 1950

and the communists in the north attacked

they got support from Soviet and the dictator

Josef Stalin

the USA answered by sending soldiers

supported by a UN decision

the World was on the brink of war

American soldiers was captured

several of them later emerged

in communist propaganda movies

apparently brainwashed

the West feared that

the communists could control peoples brains

in the USA it was mobilized within brain research

animals was used

among other things to test hallucinogenic substances

the researchers themselves filmed

how they could give a cat LSD

and turn nature upside down

Throughout the 1950s it was not enough with animals

these recordings is done by the American Army

and show a soldier drugged with PCP

today known as the dangerous

and illegal substance angel dust

the drug gave an unrealistically sensation of strength

It was secretly carried out a huge experiment

several thousands young American soldiers

and civilians

was subjected to biochemical experiments

the researchers was commissioned

to find out if substances like

LSD, mescaline, BZ and angel dust

could be used in chemical warfare

and if the substances could get some of the USAs

most disciplined soldiers

to act against their own will

And here Sem-Jacobsen emerges

under WWII he worked for

the American intelligence agency OSS

precursor to the CIA

after the war

Carl Wilhelm Sem-Jacobsen

was educated in Minnesota in the USA

and in 1954 he participated

in testing LSD and mescaline on patients

Sem-Jacobsen's task

was to measure how the substances influenced

the patients brain activity

the Canadian researcher Wilder Penfield

was one of the authorities within brain research

he tried to change peoples consciousness

through electric stimulation

Penfield cooperated closely with Sem-Jacobsen
