Package Design For a Spinner Project - Duration: 9:43.
Greg: Today we are making the packaging for a
fidget spinner that my buddy Tom and I
are making. When I told my friend Joe
from the YouTube Channel "Answers with Joe" that I
was making a fidget spinner he told me
that he was making a video on how fidget
spinners can maybe make you smarter.
Joe: Unless you've been living under a rock
lately you've seen one of these they're
called fidget spinners... It also just
happens to coincide with some research
that suggests that fidgeting could make
you smarter. Greg: so I sent him one of our
prototypes to use as a prop and he
promptly decided to give it away... Joe: If you
want to win this spinner yes this spinner
right here, that I'm holding in my hand...
stick around to the end of the video I'll
show you how you can win it (along) with a nice
little note from me. Greg: I have links to both
Joe's video on whether or not fidget
spinners make you smarter and Tom's
video on the machining of the spinner
that we're designing packaging for today
listed in the description below. As Joe
so eloquently put it; we are doing a
three-way collaboration. Put your best
jokes in the comments below. Now let's
get to the design
One of my main goals when designing
anything is to separate my work from
everyone else's. It's easy and tempting
to take a design and copy it and put
your logo on it but you have to ask
yourself - what does that look like from
the user perspective? How does that in
any way make what you did more appealing
to the user? When I looked at what other
companies were doing to package their
spinners I saw a bunch of commodity
off-the-shelf solutions. Companies are
using cheap cardboard boxes, tins and
foam to package spinners that are
selling for a couple hundred bucks. The
design of the packaging is all the same
and with the exception of a logo being
screened onto them... BORING!
We're holding tolerances that no one
else is holding and using details that
are quite frankly more difficult for
fabrication but ultimately result in a
better product...
I wanted the package design to reflect
that level of sophistication. I wanted it
to be something owners could put on
their shelves and it would stand out
against the white noise that is the norm.
For inspiration we looked at old Starrett
tool boxes that Tom had laying around.
We asked ourselves could we do something
that would stand the test of time like
they did.
Even when using a CNC for production
breaking down rough stock into
machinable parts always requires an
amount of traditional woodworking.
Since we plan on making and selling
about 2 million of these I do need to
rely on my CNC for the main production.
the cam for this is fairly
straightforward.
The initial clearing is done with a 2d
adaptive clearing pass and a
quarter-inch
straight end mill. You'll see as the
toolpath gets down to more complex
levels the adaptive strategy starts to
change from an all-out clearing to much
more defined areas. This is also the
first time I used my router deflector
shield. It did an incredible job of
keeping the dust from flying all over
the place. I will have a video on it very
soon.
For the larger diameter details, I was
able to use the quarter inch bit for the
finishing pass. Typically I leave all
adaptive paths about .004" shy of the
final dimensions. Now we switch over to
an eighth inch straight end mill and
make a pass around the perimeter edges.
We also polish off any details that were
too small for the quarter inch tool.
The final operation on the box bottoms
is a .010" chamfer along the edges just
to clean up all the fuzzies. The next
shot you're going to see is what the
test pieces look like without this
cleanup.
The layout of the box allows the spinner
to have the buttons installed or on
display. If you have both the brass and
the aluminum buttons the extra set will
fit in the box.
One of the toughest tasks was making the
boxes right-sized so the spinners just
slip out. i messed with adding and
subtracting a .001"
around the perimeter. Just the right fit
is about .001" oversize. .002" was
too sloppy and on size was just too
tight.
After the main box was fleshed out I
started working on the lid. It's maple
and Tom and I decided to call our
venture "Guru Machine Werks". I think it
has a cool ring to it
and it accurately describes Tom status
as a master level tool and die maker.
I'm cutting counter bores for the
fasteners that will go in the lid. These
need to be dead straight and on center
or the gaps around the fasteners will be
uneven.
Of course I chose to eyeball this. The
boxes in the video are shown with a
magnet in one corner and a pin in the
other and they open by twisting. Feedback
from folks who tried to open them is
that these are way too confusing so the
production boxes will have magnets at
both corners and the tops will just lift
off.
I wanted the spinners and buttons to be
on display so the second a new owner
opens the box for the first time.
They are presented more like jewels and less like
a car part.
Check out the video of Tom machining
this spinner. I love love love to watch
the process of machining and Tom is a
true master.
Also check out Joe's video for a chance
to win one of our prototypes. He also has
a contest going to guess how long our
spinner will spin. The links are below.
If you are interested in buying a
spinner we have a pre-sale going right
now. The pre-sale is going to be $100 for
the spinners and I'm going to have a
discount code for anybody who watches
this video in the next week to get
another 15% off of that. After our 2-week
presale the spinners will be a hundred
and twenty dollars. You can get both
aluminum and brass buttons for the
spinners and we'll have extra bearings
available as well. If you want to win one
of our prototype spinners be sure and
check out Joe's video. The actual
production models are going to be
slightly different than this. We got some
feedback that this one looked a little
too similar to another production model
and I really don't want that so they're
going to be slightly different. I'll put
a rendering right here. A huge thank you
to both Joe and Tom for participating in
this three-way collaboration. We'll check
you guys later.

Yassin's Message for Ecosia - Duration: 1:00.
If the disaster is appearing and then we don't take anything on it, we don't take anything
to preserve, what are we going to tell our children?
What are we going to tell our grand-children, when they're asking us: What's happening?
What have you done?
If these disasters are happening.
When it's happening, as a parent, what did you do?
So my dream is to see people planting a lot of trees.
So we thank Ecosia very much for coming up to do this effort.
Imagine: we are over six billion on the Earth.
If every day one person planted trees for a year, you can imagine how many trees would
be planted.
We could save the planet.
And we could make the Usambara and the planet the best place to live.

Federal Suit Hits Soros For $10 Billion For Political Meddling - political - Duration: 5:50.
Federal Suit Hits Soros For $10 Billion For Political MeddlingMotivated Solely By
Malice
Billionaire globalist and altogether controversial figure, George Soros, is now the subject of
a $10 billion lawsuit accusing him of being a racketeer billionaire for meddling
in the affairs of a sovereign African nation purely for personal reasons in what
critics say typifies his modus operandi.
For those who skimmed that first sentence, yes, thats Billion with an emphatic
capital B.
FOX News reports the 86-year-old financier and manager of a global network of nonprofits
will be forced by BSG Resources lawsuit to answer for manipulating the politics and
economics of Guinea for his own benefit.
Soros was motivated solely by malice, BSGR states in the suit, as there was no
economic interest he had in Guinea.
Despite Soros often contentious dealings and reputation as a pompous busybody, last
months filing in New York Federal Court has thus far largely escaped the spotlight.
Companies controlled by Israeli mining magnate Beny Steinmetz sued fellow billionaire
George Soros, claiming he cost them at least $10 billion through a defamation campaign
that stripped them of rights to an iron ore deposit in Guinea and other business opportunities
around the world, Bloomberg reported.
Interestingly, as opposed to innumerable civilians directly affected by Soros notoriously
shady string-pulling, the lawsuit originates with the billionaires peers who claim
his monied influence bilked them of at least as many billions as claimed.
To Soros, Steinmetzs success, as well as his active, passionate promotion of Israeli
life, business and culture are anathema, the lawsuit states.
Soros is also well known for his long-standing animus toward the state of Israel.
Steinmetz was arrested in December 2016 over allegations he and BSGR forked over millions
in bribes to government officials for mining rights on Simandou but those charges had
been based on fabricated reports by Soros-funded companies, BSGR explains in its suit.
Bloomberg notes Mamadie Toure, the fourth wife of the former president of Guinea, who
implicated BSGR and Steinmetz, received $50,000 from an adviser to President Alpha Conde and
$80,000 from an agent or affiliate of Soros, according to the complaint.
States the lawsuit, Soross financial clout gave him power over Guineas processes
of government, which he then thoroughly abused and only as a matter of enmity, since
the obscenely wealthy globalist stood to gain nothing economically in the Western African
nation.
Iron ore from the untapped Simandou is thought to be of the highest grade in the industry,
with reserves estimated to comprise over two billion tons making this legal brawl among
tycoons a matter of grave financial consequence at least, to those other than Soros.
Years of allegations and accusations of underhanded business affairs between BSGR and Soros had
not led the company to take direct action until now.
In its complaint, BSGR alleges that Soros was driven by a grudge dating back to 1998
around a business in Russia and his alleged hostility towards Israel.
Indeed, accusations the Hungarian-American regularly disguises shady political maneuvers
as humanitarian in nature when the contrary tends to be true.
Among many other entities, Soros Open Society Foundations an umbrella over multiple
ostensibly beneficial organizations has long been suspected of funding and training
political movements toward ends favorable to the globalist.
Even officials from his homeland of Hungary affirm this, as top education official, Minister
of Human Capacities Zoltan Balog, asserting recently, as quoted by FOX,
Soros reaches deep into personal financial reserves during U.S. elections, often spending
ample funds for desirable candidates in every level, from District Attorneys to presidential
hopefuls and frequently bequeaths millions to contenders on both sides of the aisle.
In fact, Soros undeniable influence over American politics will be central to BSGRs
case against him, as the suit claims sway over the U.S. Department of Justice after
it sided with the billionaire on the bribery issue.
J. Christian Adams, former Obama-era DOJ attorney, told FOX the system had been at Soros
beck and call, noting he had been instrumental in reforming police procedures and in bringing
about changes to voter ID laws.
Adams told the outlet,
A spokesperson for Soros told FOX the lawsuit is a diversionary tactic for the company,
as BSGR only wishes to deflect from its own wrongdoing.
Whatever the ultimate outcome of the BSGR lawsuit, its clear the planet can no longer
stomach the parlor game attitude Soros effects when meddling in the affairs of sovereign
nations, entities, and individuals.
In the Age of Information, and with the wealth of information available online, bottomless
pockets like Soros can no longer pull puppet strings without someone, somewhere taking
notice and moving to sever the ties for good.

I GUESS WE'RE BOTH DOING GUNS NOW.
I JUST DIDN'T KNOW THAT. THAT'S INTENSE.
WHOA! >> MILLIONS OF MOVIEGOERS
FLOODED THEATERS THIS WEEKEND TO SEE MARVEL'S GUARDIANS OF THE
GALAXY 2. THIS IS TWO WEEKS AFTER
THOUSANDS MARCHED FOR SCIENCE AFTER AMERICANS' INTEREST IN
SCIENCE AND SCIENCE FICTION SEEMS TO BE AT AN ALL-TIME HIGH.
JOINING ME NOW LIVE IN THE STUDIO IS NEIL deGRASSE TYSON,
AUTHOR OF THE NEW BOOK, ASTROPHYSICS FOR PEOPLE IN A
HURRY. THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE.
>> HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. YOU'VE BEEN AROUND THE SUN FOR A
MILLION MILES. >> A FULL REVOLUTION.
>> THIS BOOK, CONGRATULATIONS, NUMBER ONE.
WE WERE TALKING IN THE BREAK, ON AMAZON.
>> COMPLETELY CRAZY. >> BUT I THINK IT'S NOT CRAZY
BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE THERE'S A HUNGER AND REINVIGORATION OF THE
INTELLECT IN SCIENCE AS IT FEELS UNDER ATTACK FROM THE OTHER
SIDE. >> I'M GLAD YOU SAID IT THAT WAY
BECAUSE I THINK THERE ALWAYS WAS A LITTLE BIT OF A HUNGER BUT
THERE'S NOTHING TO FEED IT, IT KIND OF LANGUISHES THERE.
I THINK OF IT AS AN EMBER AND IF YOU FAN IT AND FEED IT, IT CAN
BURST BACK INTO FLAMES AND CREATE AN ENERGETIC SURGE IN
SCIENCE AND IT MANIFESTS IN MULTIPLE WAYS.
I THINK I WOULD DIRECTLY CREDIT THIS RISE IN INTEREST IN SCIENCE
TO PEOPLE'S APPETITE FOR WELL THOUGHT OUT SCIENCE FICTION
FILMS, MOVIES LIKE THE MARTIAN. SCIENCE WAS ITS OWN CHARACTER
BASICALLY. >> ABSOLUTELY.

IN THAT MOVIE. >> YEAH.
>> SO IT WAS A SCIENCE THING. >> I GREW UP ON STAR TREK, THE
ORIGINAL ONE WHICH IS THE BEST ONE, SORRY.
>> YOU ARE NOT THAT OLD. DON'T EVEN GO THERE.
>> BLACK DON'T CRACK. AND OF COURSE WHAT I LOVED ABOUT
IT, APART FROM EVERYTHING ABOUT IT, IS THE FACT THAT IT DID SORT
OF TAKE SCIENCE AND PUT IT INTO THE REALM OF THE FUTURE
POSSIBLE. THERE WERE ACTUAL INNOVATIONS
PEOPLE MADE. THINK ABOUT THE FLIP PHONE WHICH
USED TO ACTUALLY BE COOL. >> NOW IT'S OLD.
>> NOW IT'S OLD. BUT YOU SAW THE EVOLUTION OF
POSSIBLE TECHNOLOGY AND ALSO SORT OF LOOKING AT SPACE AS
SOMETHING SEARCHABLE. >> IT'S BECAUSE THE CREATORS OF
IT, EUGENE RODDENBURY AT THE TOP OF THAT PYRAMID THOUGHT ABOUT
WHAT WAS PLAUSIBLE VERSUS WE DON'T KNOW IF WE'LL EVER GET
THERE. YOU HAVE A MACHINE AND YOU PUT
IN A CARD AND FOOD COMES OUT HOT.
I REMEMBER SEEING IT AND THINKING, NO, THAT WILL NEVER
HAPPEN. >> LET'S TALK ABOUT THE OTHER
SIDE OF IT. TO SOME PEOPLE SCIENCE IS AN
AMAZING THING AND TO OTHERS IT'S FRIGHTENING.
ASTROPHYSICS, BECAUSE IT INVOLVES THE BIRTH OF THE
UNIVERSE, THE SORT OF WHERE DID IT ALL COME FROM, IT COMPETES
WITH A RELIGIOUS NOTION OF THAT IN A WAY THAT FRIGHTENS PEOPLE,
RIGHT? >> I DON'T THINK IT'S ONLY THAT.
I THINK PEOPLE ARE FRIGHTENED OF WHAT THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND
PARTICULARLY IF WHAT THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND HAS POWER, A KIND OF
MYSTERIOUSUS POWER. PART OF THE MYSTERY IS THE
ABSENCE OF UNDERSTANDING. SO I, AS AN EDUCATOR, ALWAYS
SORT OF LOOK BACK IN THE KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 12
TRAJECTORY AND ASK, IT'S ONE THING TO JUST FEED PEOPLE
KNOWLEDGE, EVEN IN THE FORM OF SCIENCE, BUT IT'S ANOTHER THING
TO LEARN HOW TO THINK ABOUT INFORMATION AND PROCESS
INFORMATION AND BE -- AND LEARN HOW TO EMBRACE NEW DISCOVERIES
SO THAT YOU HAVE A SENSE OF CURIOSITY THAT WILL GET YOU
TO -- THAT YOU'LL BE SELF-DRIVEN TO UNDERSTAND IT.
ONCE YOU UNDERSTAND IT, YEAH, LET'S GO WITH IT, LET'S DO IT.
>> WHEN PEOPLE MEET YOU, WHEN PEOPLE ARE IN A HURRY AND THEY
MEET YOU AND THEY HAVE 60 SECONDS, WHAT'S THE QUESTION
PEOPLE MOST ASK YOU? >> IT'S A BUNCH.
WHERE DID IT ALL COME FROM. IT WILL ALMOST ALWAYS END UP, IS
THERE GOD. THEY USUALLY PUT A FEW QUESTIONS
IN THE MIDDLE. >> BUT THAT'S WHERE THEY'RE
GOING. >> YEAH.
THEY USUALLY LAND THERE. SO, BUT I MONITOR THIS AND I
LOOK TO SEE, WHEN DO PEOPLE'S EYES BRIGHTEN WHEN THEY ASK A
QUESTION OR WHEN I ANSWER, AND I PROCESS THAT.
WHAT I FOUND IS THAT NOT EVERYONE IS EQUALLY INTERESTED
IN ALL THINGS, BUT WHAT I DID WAS DIGEST THAT WHICH PEOPLE ARE
MOST TAKEN BY. SO THIS IS A CURATED OFFERING OF
THE MOST MIND BLOWING THINGS IN THE UNIVERSE.
>> I GUESS THE FUNDAMENTAL -- TWO QUESTIONS.
NUMBER ONE, CAN GOD AND EVOLUTION EXIST TOGETHER,
COEXIST?
>> IT DEPENDS WHICH GOD. IS IT ZEUS, KRISH NA.
TYPICALLY IN THE UNITED STATES PEOPLE ARE REFERRING TO THE
JUDEO-CHRISTIAN GOD. IF YOU USE THE BIBLE AS YOUR
SCIENCE TEXTBOOK, NO, THERE IS NO RECONCILING THESE TWO.
BUT ENLIGHTENED MODERN RELIGIOUS PEOPLE RECOGNIZE THEIR HOLY TEXT
AS FIGURATIVE ACCOUNTS AT A TIME WHEN PEOPLE HAD NO OTHER WAY TO
THINK ABOUT IT AND THEY EMBRACED SCIENCE BUT THEY USED THE BIBLE
FOR THEIR OWN SPIRITUAL FULFILLMENT AND ENLIGHTENMENT.
GALILEO EVEN KNEW ABOUT THIS. HE WAS A DEVOUT CATHOLIC.
HE'S FAMOUS FOR SAYING THE BIBLE TELLS YOU HOW TO GO TO HEAVEN,
NOT HOW THE HEAVENS GO. >> IT IS LITERALISM IN ALL
RELIGIONS THAT APPEARS TO BE THE ENEMY.
I HAVEI HAVE TO ASK YOU THIS, A ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE?
>> NOT LIKELY. IF YOU LOOK AT THE NUMBERS, HOW
LONG THE UNIVERSE HAS BEEN HERE, THE FACT THAT OUR INGREDIENTS
THAT COMPRISE LIFE, HYDROGEN, OXYGEN, CARBON, NITROGEN,
THEY'RE THE MOST COMMON INGREDIENTS ACROSS THE UNIVERSE
EVERYWHERE. PLUS ON EARTH, LIFE GOT UNDER
WAY ALMOST AS QUICKLY AS IT POSSIBLY COULD HAVE IN SINGLE
CELL ORGANISMS, SO LIFE IS THE MOST COMPLEX KIND OF CHEMISTRY
WE KNOW, BUT NATURE APPARENTLY HAD NO PROBLEMS WORKING IT OUT
IN ITS OWN LAB. AS WE LOOK FOR LIFE, PROBABLY
THE FIRST LIFE WE FIND WILL BE MICROBIAL.
IT WILL PROBABLY BE RARER TO FIND COMPLEX LIFE.
AND OF COURSE WHO DEFINES US AS INTELLIGENT?
>> WE DO. >> WHO KNOWS WHETHER OTHER
INTELLIGENT BEINGS WILL THINK THE SAME ABOUT AS US AS WE DO.
>> AND THEN THE ALIENS EAT US ALL UP, LIKE IN THE MOVIE.
>> TASTY BITS. >> NEIL deGRASSE TYSON WITH THAT
WISDOM. >>> UP NEXT, THE PLOT THICKENS

Anaesthetic procedure for emergency epidural in labour - Duration: 7:36.
I just remember the pain ramping up
quite significantly so I suppose I was
just very keen for someone to help me
and knew that an epidural would be a
good way of taking the pain away
I felt like it was the right time to go for that option
an epidural is a really fine
plastic tube that's put into the bottom
of the back and the aim of an epidural
is to reduce the pain of the
contractions of labour
when the anaesthetist came into the room once I'd asked for an
epidural she made sure that she spoke to
me about the risks and I remember saying
to her it's fine it's fine just please
can I have the epidural because I was in
a lot of pain at that point and she made
a point of saying we do need to talk
about the risks and explained what those
were to me and I felt that she explained them well
there's a risk of about one
in a hundred of a particularly severe
type of headache which usually happens
in the first couple of days after an
epidural or a spinal anaesthetic there's
a really small risk of damage to the
nerves themselves which is very rare if
it was happen it's most likely to be a
patch of numbness in the leg that goes
away on its own over a few weeks to
months and that happens to about 1 in 10
to 15,000 women the risk of it being a
more permanent weakness or numbness of
the legs is incredibly small in the
region of about 1 in 100,000 the
epidural is very safe all the
medications that we use stay in the back
of the mother and therefore don't reach
the baby if the blood pressure drops
with an epidural that may well
affect the baby and that's why we have
to deal with that quickly if that happens
I felt very well-informed about what
was going to be involved in having the
epidural because I'd had a chat about
it with my midwife before the labour had
really kicked in I did feel like I
understood what would be involved
You will need to have a drip put into one of
the veins usually in your hand or your
arm and the reason for this is that
having an epidural can make your blood
pressure drop and having the drip in
allows us to deal with that very quickly
the midwives will attach you to a
monitor called a CTG
which monitors the baby's heart rate
and that will need to be on before you
have the epidural during you having the
epidural and then afterwards for a
period of time just to make sure that
the baby is happy we would normally get
you to sit on the edge of the bed in
your own delivery room and we need you
to try and bend forward curl over around
your bump so that you open up the spaces
to the bones in your back you can carry
on using the gas and air if you're using
that already that's fine and you must
try and keep as still as you can and let
us know when the contractions are coming
and going because we can pause what we're
doing while you're having a contraction
but you still need to try and keep
as still as you can
I had to curl my back over and sort of
round to let the anaesthetist get
the right position to put the epidural
in for me and that was quite a hard
thing to do during a contraction but
what I really remember is curling over a
cushion a pillow to keep me more
comfortable and my midwife was squatting
down and and talking me through exactly
what was happening and telling me that I
needed to stay still and that I was
doing well and reassuring me about what
was happening which I
found really helpful
we then put some local anaesthetic into the skin of the
back which does sting a little bit as it
goes in and it then shouldn't be painful
to have the epidural put in you should
feel a pressure or an aching type
feeling sometimes some clicking
sensations when the epidural is put in
if you feel any sharp pain then you must
tell the anaesthetist at the time
sometimes people get a little bit of an
electric shock feeling just as the
little tube is being put in but the anaesthetist
will warn you when this might happen
sometimes your blood pressure will drop and
that's usually within the first half an
hour of having an epidural so we will be
keeping an eye on your blood pressure during this time
I do remember the local
anaesthetic being put into the bottom of
my back first because that's the bit
that is a bit uncomfortable it's a bit
like if you're at the dentist or you
have the bit of stinging like you know
a small bee sting type feeling but the
local anaesthetic works so quickly to
numb that pain that it's only kind of
minor discomfort compared
the labour it's not it's not anything to
be very worried about while the epidural
is being put in I think I just felt like
a pressure type sensation I didn't feel
any pain after that initial local
anaesthetic being given just a pressure
type feeling in my lower back
so once the epidurals in and the
anesthetist will put two doses of local
anaesthetic into the epidural to get it
working in the first place about one in
twenty epidurals we can't get them to
work well enough and we have to put a
second epidural in to get you
comfortable they'll then attach it to a
drip which is attached to a pump and
that will continually give some medicine
down the epidural during your labour to
keep the numbness going everybody
is slightly different and needs a different
amount of local anaesthetic so there's
also a button attached to the pump that
you can press if you start to feel
slightly more again after the epidural
started working you can press it and it
gives you a bolus dose from the Machine
the anesthetist spent some time making
sure that the epidural was working well
and it felt initially like my legs felt
very warm and I've initially felt a big
relief in the amount of pain but mainly
like pressure that I was feeling before
went away you have a clicker where you
can administer the drugs yourself so if
you feel like it's not working very well
you can give yourself a known top-up or
a bolus which is very safe to do because
it's done in a very controlled way I
purposely didn't want to top-up because
I wanted to be able to feel the pressure
of the contractions so that I knew when
to push if you are not fully aware of
when your contractions are or how you're
pushing is because you're quite numb
it's difficult to know what your pushing
is it makes it more difficult to push
well it does also increase the risk of
you having to have help getting the baby
out and that's in terms of a forceps or a suction cup
it's very common to have a slightly sore
bruised back for a few days after an
epidural as you'd imagine with an
injection anywhere anywhere it feels a
bit sore and it's not associated with any
long term back pain I think it's important to
keep all options open in labour all that
pain relief options open because you
never quite know how your labour is going
to go but the epidural definitely made
it easier for me to cope with
epidurals are something that many women need
during their labour it's not something
that you should worry about they're very
safe we do lots of them here and if you
have any questions you should ask to
speak to an anesthetist when you arrive
on delivery suite

Super fun with one of those really big and you something
the first
so that weren't so we get anything else that you want to be a
Set of cognitive Kings free spirit so say Monday. I want to play something
Motivational is a quote or store in every Monday. That's kind of [making] for Monday, so I know
What it was we every Monday?
Is the optional some people like to be I have seen to escape as we follow the have a really
cheap Corneal
Or just half of the food for one or two days it just depends on
What you want to post them?
Kind of the purpose of your social media [platform]
So next I'm going to fill in there many days within the other ideas such [topics] [were] [piece]
so I have a link in the description and
[Germans] know where should get 30 [more] [days] of
Content for cute ideas and insurance forming following exactly, but at least we will go
topic for this community of Hobbies
Hello
[eclipse'] [reading] with a voice of
31 different Little topics that you can use to help you create and make your conscious Chinese
So now that is [the] topic for the day?
We want to take the content so content using pictures. It's video series
Means whatever, I'm going to put in the description box. [I] have lots of going over to her type of
Content types that you can post on Facebook
But in Instagram and Facebook has of the hero that goes wrong with the first post as well
so you can look at those resources to help you see the different kind of
Locations make on different platforms, so [that] will help you turn out your concert section
so now
[that] you see those so soon you know the different types of content [easy] person [to] the platform
And our kind of look to the few staples. [I] like to vary up for different concerts
I don't always only person as graphic
images [respectively], I
bury my phone between things like that is that soft photos and pictures of myself or
That you can take of the different items I have
Sometimes of these videos of Apple Website and show me something or putting the clips [on] YouTube video on other social media pages
sorry to have
diversity in my place
So now you want to [try] [suppose] you needed opportunites for those different topics that you just put for each day
So you're not always going to be able to?
complete them [clearing] out your [clothes] in the photo system in your mind is so as
You have any video up every Wednesday you may not have all the videos to the [monster]
it should be [fire] [alarms] restraining their social media content for [the] [mania] has a
so I just to make a note in my
[Sharkies] [Satin] killing this video on this Monday that goes up next Wednesday
so that's when I'll have the clips ready and
the parkings no social media [strategies] a schedule out
Yeah, I just really depends on your schedule
so if you're just serving a lot of men that every Sunday, so not you folks in the [holy] and
And just do it that way some people may want to [shift] [to] [a] bus at once
And particularly [let's] do a day's a so depends on your schedule the time you have and has a perfect if you like is it
Something that's hard amazing to deposit your strategy is it or is it something? That's [like]. [oh], yes absolutely
Things we offer you say the month
So now that you have it if you have what the content is going to be so specifically?
You want to schedule out with television history?
Supper or similar types of searches platform so this just like the movies Andre the social media at the same time
So you're not worried [about] what the posts every day?
there's a whole video on sicily and how I use it to schedule out different codes and also [showing] [you] some of the
organizational features of that platform
So now I'm going to show you in kind of a simple
strategy that I just came up with that I'm going to show you and take you through my
[circumstances]
okay, so
Where I do is I just took [the] google doc, and I'll have Monday through Sunday and [also] [surfaces]
besides the there's a week ended up for this simple, and then I'll just copy this and
Have with Monday through Sunday for the whole month. So it just depends on [three] [different] papers these people job if you want to
Make this import for yourself and print it out and sort in that way depends on what you like
I always using Google docs is and the [CPS] bed on Their own
computer so
[here] I put the content bucket
Then I will put the caption if I already have written the caption and then notes about this theory and then once you
Have the content. I'll just paste it under [the] [month] so our say their day [is] a week so I can easily
Cancel opportunities or to [screw] it to my phone to place
So yeah, so Monday. I want to put some relationally Monday, so I write out the quotes
Then I made a note if I mixed graphic with the quote just do it
And I can make this graphic with as soon as I
Sketch, Laura [point] out the content for the week or I can do it later just kind of depends
To the next content bucket for Tuesday. I put blog post so I want to make a graphic with
The blog post title so I want to do four different images [that] can make a carousel or a slideshow, so I'm thinking
What I meant by this is on Instagram, I'm going to use the multiple pictures
Feature and do four different photos and then to share it on Facebook. I'm going to be for carousel link and that
[is]
you'll have [a]
service of sliding
Kind of thing where you have different photos and if you click on each individual photo. You can link it to those
Individual blog posts, and then if I was going to post this on Twitter, [I] may just do four tweets throughout the day
With the corresponding links to the blog posts and pictures
The best tournament and sample of how you can take one idea and tweak it for different social media platforms
So Wednesday I put and we share a book I'm reading
So something I need to do there to make sure I read a chapter to know forever
The book is so that I can have some
Something to share about that book because if I wanted to share about a book I would want to share about with a point
But that was running
Site [poll] or helpful to me
That could [use] offense or somewhere else so Thursday for the [edge] this content bucket is just a random holiday
separate national dog day, so I would share about my dog and
yeah, I don't really need help running the caption above that so I didn't put anything and then I have pictures in my dog or
My cell of [course] because you have a dog you don't have to choose every dog on yourself
What are you doing with your life?
Okay, so Friday and put the constant fucking striding [reflections], and I take a selfie
Darnell cited them really, I don't have any ideas. I don't know what to do
You [need] [to] [choose] yourself [isn't] require that much effort you tried
Decent lighting so for the captions that I would write later
And/or [I'd] probably write it on the slide action something saw with some a Friday reflection
[it's] just reflecting [lutwidge] that they wanted or have a weak word or
Something I [wanted] [that] week or however. I'm feeling you know very type of [since] things
So Saturday, I would put a clip so [cotton] bucket we get fun, and I put a note pictures with whatever
I'm doing so
this isn't something that I was scheduled in advance because it just depend on what I'm doing right battery and
lastly Sunday
So I put the content buckets in useful [shift] and more specifically how to milk back for the week
[sobytiya] Chives milk wrap on [Sundays]
So [I] just do note that [I] need to remember to take [photos] after I finish my milk up
So that I can share a couple of useful tips
Okay, [so] I hope this video was [helpful]. [I'm] going to give you a
starting point how to make your own social media content strategy you can make it as simple or as complicated as
You [want] to it just depends [time]?
It [something] that you and share on your social Media
platforms and how often and ETC, but with endless possibilities and
Again, there's a link down description to get the different
anyone
into ideas for posting
Content bucket [Slash] topic so I hope you enjoyed the video and [you] self is full

ACTA ASTRONAUTICA WE ARE NOT READY FOR CONTACT WITH EXTRATERREST - Duration: 6:00.
ACTA ASTRONAUTICA: 'WE ARE NOT READY FOR CONTACT WITH EXTRATERRESTRIAL INTELLIGENCE
Are humans ready to make contact with alien intelligence?
Project scientists at SETI are known for tracking what may be extra-terrestrial signals, but
now it looks as though they are thinking about sending messages to aliens and giving them
the position of humans of Earth.
But are humans ready for making contact with aliens?
RESEARCHER ASKS STUDENTS WHETHER THEY ARE READY TO GREET ALIEN LIFEFORMS
One researcher from the Spains University of Cadiz has questioned the idea after gathering
results from a survey taken by students at the University, which revealed ignorance in
general about the cosmos along with the influence of religion when it comes to dealing with
these matters.
The SETI project, Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence was an initiative that started
out in the 70s after funding was given from NASA.
Today it has evolved to the collaboration of many millions of users on the internet
for processing data from the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico, home to the space tracking.
STEPHEN HAWKING WARNS OF RISKS OF SENDING OUT EARTH INVITATION TO ALIENS
The project is controversial.
However, members want to go a step further and not only search for possible signs of
extra-terrestrial life but send messages out from Earth to try to find possible alien civilizations.
Stephen Hawking, astrophysicists, has warned about the risks of making such a search poses
for humanity, as it may favor any arrival of aliens with technology that is advanced
and dubious intentions.
Gabriel G. De la Torre, a professor at the University of Cadiz, has analyzed the sociological
and ethical implications of the proposal to send out a signal telling alien lifeforms
where Earth and humans are located.
He asked if a decision such as this could be taken on behalf of the planet.
He went on to ask what might happen if it was a success and alien life did receive the
signal, would the people on Earth be ready for contact.
STUDY REVEALED HUMANS ARE NOT READY FOR CONTACT WITH ALIENS The professor wrote and sent out
a questionnaire to 116 university students of American, Spanish and Italian origin.
The survey looked into their knowledge of astronomy along with levels of perception
of the physical environment, the opinions of the place that things occupy in the cosmos
along with religious questions.
One question posed asked whether the students believed that God had in fact created the
universe and the likelihood that humans could contract alien lifeforms.
The results, published in the journal Acta Astronautica, from the study suggested
that humans are not ready to contact an extra-terrestrial civilization as they lack knowledge along
with being unprepared.
Due to this SETI researchers have been recommended to look for different strategies.
This pilot study demonstrates that the knowledge of the general public of a certain
education level about the cosmos and our place within it is still poor.
Therefore, a cosmic awareness must be further promoted where our mind is increasingly
conscious of the global reality that surrounds us using the best tool available to us:
education, De la Torre emphasised.
In this respect, we need a new Galileo to lead this journey.
It was said that the pilot study had shown that the general publics knowledge of a
certain education level when it came to the cosmos and the place of humans within it,
was poor.
Cosmic awareness needs to be promoted further where the human mind is conscious of the global
reality that is surrounding us, using the best tool that is available, which is education
De la Torre said.
It was found from the questions asked, which are going to be made available for everyone
on the internet, that university students along with the rest of society, on the whole,
lacks awareness about astronomical aspects, despite the progress of technology and science
of today.
It was said that many people think about the subjects based on religious beliefs and they
may reply on politicians if there was a big crisis on a global scale that needed resolving.
So it does look like the people on Earth are not ready to welcome alien civilizations with
open arms, even if SETI were
to find them.

I want a living rabbit.
I want a living rabbit.
What's all this?
I want two living rabbits.
I want three. Four.
My child.
I want 100 living rabbits.
100 100 100 100
Report this to the king right away!
Your Majesty!
Do not prevent me from doing my public affairs.
Your Majesty!
I want it! I want it! I want it! I want it!
- What does she want? - A rabbit.
The send for the cook.
One hundred LIVING rabbits!
Oh, that's a complete herd.
100. 100. 100. 100. 100.
Ah, write a decree.
We,
gracious King, comma,
Almighty, comma,
Wise, just, brave,
Great, wise, ..
"You were already wise, Your Majesty." - What?
Excessive wisdom never hurts.
... we announce to our people...
... we need a shepherd
...for our rabbit herd.
If that's what he came up, the king is fooling us.
My daughter, soon you will have a rabbit herd.
I do not want any rabbits.
"But you asked for them." - But now I do not want them.
Understand, my daughter, I can not abolish the royal decree.
- Take this, for on the road! "Thank you, Mother."
Whoever heard of this - to herd rabbits?
Well yes, even royal.
Good afternoon, grandmother.
Uh-uh.
You did not got caught with your nose, did you?
I got caught, sonny, I got caught.
"Does it hurt you?" - Oy-yoy-yoy-yoy...
Wait, Grandma. I will help you.
Pull it out, your nose, granny!
Is it intact grandmother, your nose?
It's intact, dear, intact.
Would you like something to eat, maybe?
Thank you, son!
So where are you going?
To the king, grandmother. I want to work for him as rabbit shepherd.
Oh, you better avoid getting involved with our king.
that may be so.
Here, boy.
Let me give you something for your kindness.
Take this! Such a pipe
no shepherd has.
This pipe is not easy.
She'll help you out of all sorts of trouble.
You whistle at one end, and the one you need will run toward you.
Whistling at the other end, whoever is stopping you, will run away from you.
If only I don't lose her.
Do not be afraid.
Where you lose it, there you will find it.
And whoever takes it will lose it.
Something is unclear about what you say, grandmother.
Ah, hello, hello, my dear fellow!
Well, what's your name?
My name is Hans.
Aha, that's a good name.
And my name is King.
A good name too.
I heard, Your Majesty, that you are looking for a shepherd.
Yes, I'm looking for one, Hans, I'm looking.
Only, we will have this agreement:
If you do not lose a single rabbit, you will receive...
You will receive half a kingdom.
- Agreed? - I agree.
But if you lose even one rabbit,
I will order your head to be cut off.
Your Majesty, for all the rabbits, only half a kingdom,
But for one rabbit - a whole head. Isn't that overdone?
You think so? But after all, if you cut off half of a head,
you can't use the other half anyway.
Okay. I agree to the whole.
What a fortune, we tricked him into this deal!
It's time for my rabbits to go home.
Has the old woman deceived me?
Why, I'm sure I'm not at the wrong end.
And I already thought that I'd have to part from my head.
Now, stand in line!
Heads up high!
But where is the hundredth?
We're back, Your Majesty.
Well, how many hares did run away from you?
None, Your Majesty.
As many as there were, that many have returned.
Check the cheater.
Exactly 100, Your Majesty.
Look! If he only counts just a single rabbit less tomorrow,
Say goodbye to your head.
And if you count 100 rabbits again tomorrow,
You can say goodbye to YOUR head.
1, 2, 3,...
98, 99, 100.
Well, go for a stroll.
All clear.
They stole it.
Your Majesty, the kingdom is saved!
Hans had a magic pipe.
Here it is.
Here comes back to me what's mine!
Where you lose, there you will find.
And whoever takes it will lose it.
Hello, Hans!
Good afternoon, Your Highness!
Hans!
Will you not give me your pipe?
Willingly, Your Highness.
Well done, little pipe! it knows its master.
- Brought it? - This nasty shepherd
He demanded that I kiss him.
Horrible! What a disgrace!
The pipe nevertheless will become ours.
Hello, Hans!
I heard, Hans, that you agreed
To trade your pipe
For a kiss of the princess.
- What?! "Yes, yes, the princess told me everything."
Your Majesty, you do not understand.
- I wanted YOU to... "So I should kiss you?"
No. No, not me,
But the horse, Your Majesty.
The... Horse?
Aha. And if you do not kiss her,
I will not give the pipe.
But.. can I...
... kiss her through a handkerchief?
Well, you can.
Perfectly, Your Majesty!
Now it's your pipe.
Now, finally, we have order in the kingdom.
The pipe is in here.
Today, Hans will have chopped off his head, and everything will fall into place.
In addition to Hans' head falling off.
Where are the rabbits?
Ran away.
Well, well, Hans, we'll have to cut off your head.
What can one do, what's necessary is necessary.
Well, well, let's go on with it.
What is this!!?
Do not bother, Your Majesty: here is the pipe.
Hey, you, get out of here!
Take everything you want from me. Even half of the kingdom.
Just hide away your damned pipe.
But I do not need anything.
Farewell, Your Majesty!
Yeah, but never forget my pipe!!

Tips For Doing The Teardrop Skinner Blend Properly - Duration: 11:45.
Hi guys, it's Cindy Lietz, your Polymer Clay
Tutor. In today's Studio Tip, I'm going to
show you how to master the blend. Now if
you're just getting into polymer clay
and you're starting to advance, one of
the skills that you may want to add to
your skill set is a gradient blend. Now
I've got examples of what gradient
blends are. In the claying world, we call
this a Skinner Blend because Judith
Skinner was the first one to come up
with this kind of technique. I now do a
much simpler blend called the Teardrop
Blend which I'm going to show you today,
but we use these kind of gradient blends
to show shading and lots of interest in
our clay work. I've got a few examples of
some canes where the teardrop blends
were used in them, here's a peacock cane,
a crocus bead cane, a tulip cane, and a
hyacinth cane. And you can see that the
colors are shifting from one to another,
and it makes for some really cool
techniques. Now a lot of people say, well
what do you do with a skinner blend. Well
you make canes or you make different
kinds of projects, and all of these, I
went to the my drawer just found some
ones that I've had Skinner blends or
teardrop blends in them. So there's lots
of really cool things that you can do
with a gradient blend like this. But
there are some tricks that you can do,
people mess them up on a regular basis,
and I'm going to show you how to fix
that or how to work with it. The blend
that we're going to do today is one
similar to this one here, this is done
using Souffle Clay and I'm just going to
use a tiny amount of three different
coloured clays. I'm going to use Souffle Turnip,
this is Canary, and this one is a Cherry Pie.
I recommend it when you're just
learning how to make a Teardrop Blend or
whatever blend you want to call it,
that you start with small amounts. Doing
large ones and then messing them up just
means that you end up with a lot of
muddy colors. So I always just do small
ones, why not? And then once you get good
at it, then you can start using a larger amounts of clay.
So I'm just going to take my
Canary Clay here and roll it into a ball,
and turn it into a teardrop shape just
by rubbing my two palms together.
Then I'm going to take the Cherry Pie, do the
same thing, and we're going to put these
together in a unique way.
Now you can use...
you'll need some sort of rolling
apparatus to make a Skinner Blend, you
can use an acrylic roller, I have a
video on how to make a teardrop blend
with an acrylic roller, so if you want to
use a roller then you'll want to check
that out, or you can use a pasta machine,
I've got lots of videos on those as well.
But today I'm going to use the Mammoth
Machine because it's in a... it's bigger
and it's got a... you'll be able to see
better if I do use this machine. Besides,
it's my favorite. But a lot of you won't
have this machine but it makes no
difference how or what you put together,
or what rolling machine you use. OK so
I'm going to take these and I'm going to
put... I'm going to put the Turnip one this
way, the Cherry Pie this way, and the
Canary this way. So I'm just going to
flatten them out a little bit and
basically they are three little pointy
triangles next to each other.
And then I'm going to run these through the pasta
machine so I'm going to do it at a
relatively thick setting so that there's
enough room for this to go through. And
I'm going to run it through the machine with...
See how I've got my colors
side-by-side, I'm not going to run it this way,
I'm going to run it this way. OK?
So that my tri... I've got flat parts of
the triangles at the top and it... well you
can see that you've got it alternating this way.
Make sure that that you're
rolling it that way. If you do it the
other way, the colors will mess up so I'm
just going to run it through the pasta
machine here and what I end up is this long snake
of the three colors now this is where a
lot of people mess up.
What I want you to do is to remember to stay in your lane
so keep the colors so that they stay in
their lane when you fold it in half
you're going to need to fold it in half.
If you... if you were to fold it this way,
those colors wouldn't be in their lane,
would they? They would be in each other's
lane but if you go this way, they're in
their lane they're lined up, and they're
going properly in. So I'm going to make
sure to put a little fold at the bottom
and always put the fold into the Machine
first so you're not trapping a lot of air.
Now, what's happened here is these
guys kind of went off to the side,
there's no problem just fold it just
keep it in its lane keep the color in
its way and fold it there it really
doesn't matter, people get too concerned
and too fussed about it, just fold it in half.
It might be easier for you to see it this way. so you're
going to fold it in half, keeping your
colors in their lane, and you can control
them. You can shove them in it, really
doesn't matter that much, you can even
fold it one more time if you're careful
not to trap in any air.
Then you can just run it through the pasta machine over and over,
keeping those colors in their lane.
Now what happens as you get going is if
you have... if your colors are staying too
stripy, so I'm going to do several times
here more, I'll try to go fast so you can
start seeing what's happening.
The colors that are crossing over each other, they
will start squishing together and blending
If your color way is... Here it might be
easier for you to see from the side...
If it's too stripey, then what you're going
to do is you can adjust it a little.
When you fold it in half,
instead of going perfectly in the lane,
you can veer off just a little bit and
doesn't matter whether you go this way
or this way but just veer off just
a little bit so that you're wandering in
your lane a little, and then the colors
will blend better in those areas. Then
you can straighten the back out, so I'm
going to just keep going here. Now what
will happen is if I don't control the width here,
it's just going to get wider
and wider because there's no
restrictions on the side ,
and it's just going to get wider and wider and
eventually what's going to happen is
is that you have this long wide piece
that's starting to get tricky to fold.
So, to avoid that from happening, what you're
going to want to do is to fold it in half
and take it to a surface and just
kind of start pressing the edges in
and control that, push it in so it's a lot
skinnier and clay, you know, that's a
really cool thing about clay is that you
can force it to do what you want it to do.
Also see this little bump that's
sticking out, that's because there's more
clay in that area, it's a little thicker.
So if I press down here make it a little
bit thinner, right where that bump is,
and I just fold it in a bit, what will happen
is, is that'll start straightening itself
out so I've made it a little bit shorter.
Now, instead of letting it just spread
out, I'm going to put my fingers on
either side. Now people make guides and
all kinds of stuff to control the width
but your fingers is just as easy.
So now, see what's happening is it's starting to
square off a bit here and you just keep
going and see how these colors are
starting to blend nicely from one to the... to the next.
And it's starting to get
flatter across the top, you can also
manipulate that a little bit by pulling
up on the edges, it makes for a nicer
blend if these are matching relatively
well at the top.
But it's still not that critical until
you get to the end see how pretty that's
getting? And you just keep going.
Now if I had folded it the wrong way, I just would
have one messy color, probably a muddy
color because I would have had the
purple and the yellow in there so it
would have had all the primaries and it
would have been a messy color like that.
So see how easy that is it's not hard,
you can force it to do what you want it to do.
Another thing you should watch out
for is bubbles. Now I've been pretty good
with not trapping air in there but if
you see any bubbles, what you want to do
is just sort of tug the clay lengthwise
like down the strips and it will release the air out.
I always like to pull this
way rather than sideways so that I'm not
making my blend too wide.
Now, we're getting pretty close here, the... I don't...
I think this hasn't blended nicely enough
yet and I think it's kind of too sharp
so what I would do is just do another
one of those slight tilts to the side so
that it would blend a little more yellow
into the red and a little bit more red
into the yellow
so that line is a little less blurry, I mean a little more blurred
and a little less straight across.
So, as you can see, we did this in real time
we've got a really lovely blend and you
can use these blends for lots and lots
of cool projects, and canes, and all kinds of neat things.
So I hope that answered a
lot of your questions. If you are messing
up your cane, you're probably... or your
blends, you're probably folding them the
wrong way, and you're not keeping those
colors in their lane. Alright, so if
this was helpful for you, do let us know
