Warhammer 40000 Dawn Of War 3 - Mission 12 Chasing Beauty - Duration: 40:51.

Welcome to the twelth of Warhammer 40000 Dawn Of War III walkthrough.

And oh God, this mission is by far the hardest one we encountered.

We have no chance to reinforce our forces so, we must be very careful.

The safest way is to just heroes in this mission, that Plasma Dreadnought is by far the most useful.

His special Plasma attack can melt away low tier squads of infantry in one shot, so use this big boy wisely.

The Assault Marines die very quickly here, so use them at the end to clear out the Ork drop pods.

And when you reach the Tractor Beam, save the game - a lot of Orks will be storming your position.

PrEP is Effective - Duration: 0:46.

(upbeat music)

- It's easy to get overwhelmed by all the PrEP statistics,

72% effective, 97% effective,

but it really just boils down to this:

PrEP is amazingly effective at preventing HIV infections.

But to get the very best protection,

you have to take it every day.

The less you take, the less protected you are.

Make taking PrEP part of your daily routine

so it's easy to remember.

Take it with breakfast, a protein shake,

or even when you brush your teeth at night.

It doesn't matter how you remember,

just as long as you don't forget.

Charlie Puth "Attention" Official Lyrics & Meaning | Verified - Duration: 6:06.

I couldn't come out with the song like this as a brand-new artist.

I kind of had to Taylor Swift it.

But originally 2006 when she put out "My Song", it was very approachable and it could be applied

to a lot of situations.

And I took that same approach.

I'm only one call away.

I'm going to get as many fucking fans as I can and I'm going to get their mothers to

like the music too, and maybe their dads, even.

And then the whole family's going to listen to my shit.

It's like bright and happy and everyone has their iPhones in the air and they're all singing

along, and now we're on the 'This is about me' music.

This is what I wanted to say for a long time.

When I came up with the song originally, I was on this hotel bed in this really cool

room in the Philippines.

I think back about the time when I was in that hotel room and she was literally crying

to me about how mistreated she was by her ex.

Had me thinking that I could be the guy who could fix her.

Like, girls are crazy.

They're amazing and crazy at the same time.

It almost paints a picture of the background music played at all the parties I went to

with her.

Like a soft kick with noise under it.

I don't know.

Something people can walk to.

It's a very small industry, this music industry, so you hear from many different outlets and

people about, "Oh she's saying this about you.

She told this person that you were shit and you're no good."

And I never heard it from the horse's mouth, so I always thought it would be interesting

to include that, like, right off the get-go.

I have a very Swedish approach to lyrics, so sometimes my initial scratched lyrics make

no sense.

As long as the syllables sound good.

A typical L.A. party is full of dudes who look like they took six hours to figure out

what kind of bomber they were going to wear.

Whereas I just walk in with a shirt on that I've been wearing for two days, because I

wrote a good song in that shirt and I want to write a good song two days later, so I

thought it would be a good idea to keep that shirt on, so I kept the same shirt on and

they're like, "Who is this kid with this half eyebrow coming into my rented house with my

rented Audi in the front?"

It's like that type of shit.

I go into the Edition hotel and she's wearing this very distinct perfume.

It's almost like she wore it on purpose, because it's the perfume that she wore when I first

fell in love with her and I've never fallen in love with anybody like that before.

So I came in with someone who, you know, I was definitely having a nice time with.

I enjoyed her company, but she wore that perfume on purpose to fuck me up.

Literally, when I saw her I just...

It sounds mean, but I just ditched the girl that I was with and I was so enamored by this

girl that I wanted everything...

I knew it was over, but I just thought if I walked up to her, something would ignite

again.

But, I figured she's not coming home with me tonight.

She just wants attention.

We would be talking in the hotel and she would be like, "Do you want to sleep over?"

And I'd be like, 'Yes!

I'm gonna get it in!'

And then nothing would happen.

Which is totally fine, but after the fifth time of that happening, I knew what she was

doing.

I knew that she was trying to make me so embedded to her that I would never leave her.

But I would never get what I wanted out of her.

So she was just doing that repetitively, just to get something out of me, which was for

me to be attached to her hip at all times.

It might've been the first time that

I kissed her or something simple like that.

I just kind of in the most manly way possible, shed a little tear, because it was a lot and

I didn't expect it to be a lot, either.

It's a real thing, it's not an act.

It's hard to listen to it.

This new music is genuinely me and kind of minor and dark and I'm not always happy Charlie

like I appear to be in interviews.

I'm crazy, I have perfect pitch, and I hear car horns and I have to leave the party, because

I heard too many car horns.

And this girl's hitting on me and it stresses me out that I keep hearing the car horns and

I'm thinking about a song that I made a couple of hours ago and I'm comparing it to the key

of the car horn, which is two notes together rubbing up against each other and it's stressing

me out.

And she's getting me a drink and it's too much to handle, so I have to go home and write

a sad song.

This is what this album is about.

This is what this new music is about.

Global Enlightenment – A Blessed State - Duration: 8:18.

Global Enlightenment A Blessed State

By Dylan Harper

The Buddhists describe enlightenment as a final blessed state marked by the absence

of desire or suffering.

Global enlightenment elevates awareness and consciousness, producing improvements on all

levels.

When you abide in harmonious, enlightening energies for a sustained period, you make

better choices and master your emotions, despite challenging circumstances.

Enlightening energies open intuition and awaken psychic abilities.

Enlightenment strengthens your own personal power while keeping your body healthy into

old age.

There are countless benefits.

Enlightenment is something everyone wants, no matter what their beliefs are.

Enlightenment occurs with individuals, but also for countries, groups and ultimately

the entire world.

We can compare the global enlightenment of the world to the board game of Risk, in which

each player attempts to dominate a world map.

Risk players have different colored game pieces that they place on countries.

Whoever gets the most pieces (representing countries) wins the game.

If the game board is covered with blue pieces, then blue wins and red loses.

There is no struggle between good and evil.

It simply is a game of amassing quantities of colored game pieces.

Earths Frequency & Global Enlightenment

This is a good analogy to see how the Earth gets her predominant frequency.

Everyone votes on the overall frequency of the Earth, with their day-to-day choices,

and simply by who they are.

People continuously create frequencies by their thoughts, actions, and feelings.

The Earths fundamental frequency equates to the average frequency of everything.

The largest quantity of frequency becomes the dominant song that the masses entrain

to.

The world-pool-of-vibrations can be likened to an impersonal game with the largest quantities

of vibrations dominating.

The greater volume of one frequency overcomes or entrains another.

So, we must ponder: what are the vibrations that the world entrains to today?

The vibrations in our music change peoples frequencies.

What are you listening to?

When you pray for people in a war-torn area, your prayer is like adding a small colored

piece on the Risk game board.

When you pray in song form (a mantra or a hymn), you place a large game board piece

into play.

Sound amplifies the power of your prayers and intentions.

Highlights from Estonias History

In Estonia, a small Eastern European country, I met Mara, who told me about a song festival

that changed the lives of the Estonians.

The Estonians had been horribly treated slaves for hundreds of years.

They were demoralized and broken.

When the Russian Czars fell from power, the Estonians saw their chance for freedom from

Russia but did not have the courage to seize the opportunity.

In a country of a million people, half a million sang together 24 hours a day for five days.

They created energy and unity that restored their wills, determination, and spirits.

Mara credited their countrys courage and resulting freedom to the energy its people

ingested from the song festival.

Later, the Nazis seized Poland; in response, Russia overpowered Estonia.

Under Stalins ownership, many people were randomly sent to Siberia daily, and most died.

Can you imagine worrying if you are or a loved one would be randomly sent to a death camp

every night?

A Brutal Civil War & Aftermath

Later, Hitler conquered part of Estonia.

Both Russians and Germans forced the Estonians to fight for their side.

The Estonians fought against each other, with brothers killing brothers and father killing

sons.

This instilled shame, once again breaking the spirit of the people.

After World War II, the USSR occupation created harsh conditions, little food, few jobs, and

a severe lack of housing, but plenty of fear.

This terrible negativity added up and the people were broken again.

When the USSR collapsed, the Estonian people had no courage to gain their freedom and no

will to fight.

Once again, the Estonian people came together with a song festival for five days, with a

half-million people attending.

Mara attended this song festival; it changed her and she will never be the same.

Shortly afterward, the Estonian people gained their freedom, crediting their courage to

the energy created by their songs.

To this day, the Estonian people hold a week-long song festival every five years to harmonize,

unite, and empower themselves.

Music was successfully used for national transformation and enlightenment!

Influence of Vibrations on Healing

The influence of vibrations works both ways; outside energies influence you and your vibrations

influence others.

Everything about you (thoughts, feeling, actions, and health) is part of the global vibrational

energy pool.

The stronger vibration overcomes the weaker.

So, what is your contribution to the global energy pool?

This can be a scary analogy as we are all less than perfect.

Our shortfalls and low energy dips are not just ours; they drag others down, too.

However, there is great beauty in this analogy as well.

You matter; your thoughts, feelings, and actions can tip the balance of power.

You dont have to change the world, you have to uplift yourself, and this is powerful.

The entire country of Estonia reached an emotional flat line.

Singing from half of its population for a week transformed and uplifted the entire country

 with profound and lasting impacts.

The proper use of music, however, accomplished this powerful makeover for an entire country.

Simply by listening to uplifting music (a lot) or singing (it doesnt matter if you

are a good singer or not), you amplify positive frequencies.

You become a megaphone as part of global enlightenment to shower uplifting energies everywhere in

your vicinity!

Listening to uplifting music can benefit so many, while you use no will power nor even

attention.

You can even listen when you sleep.

So, what are you waiting for?

There is about an hour or divine energy music free at my website, www.jillswingsoflight.com!

You turned into a microbe Marcelina! You are mouldy! I... I have to turn off... I'm gonna hang up on you!

Woman: We gotta go live Herminia: Marce... HEY! I don't want you... these people are here as witnesses...

Look Marcelina... She hang up on me... Look I gotta record a show about the Brazilian family and mine...

is shitty as fuck!

Person: Did you like? Herminia: Loved it, didn't even look

Woman: Relax relax... the director is calling Herminia: Oh God.. this director is an ass

What's the theme of today's show? Woman: Woman divided between her Work and Home

For God's sake how am I supposed to talk about this theme when this is precisely what's happening to me

This coffee is cold... people...

Good morning! We are starting a new season of Herminia Show... everything's beautiful and new

You know why? Because "Mom" is a never ending subject...

Moms have a lot of things to say... things unsaid... things rooted deep inside of them

So today's show is the answer of all Brazilian moms who want you know what?

Talk... they want to talk but without being interrupted

Otherwise we'll get a stroke

Taxi Man: Congrats Herminia! You started off on the right foot, your family must be proud!

Boy since we talking about family I can't find my phone there's probably 700 missed calls

None... can you believe?

It there was 700 I would be angry but none? I'm humiliated

Taxi Man: In my family everyone badmouths everyone...

At least they're talking right? When families don't get together to talk shit about each other

it's because the family is over... Nothing left... the end of the end

Your life is a chaos right?

What the hell... I invite my sister to take a walk and I'm being attacked?

I'm just asking Hermina!

Your life must be a mess for you to be asking this kind of thing

Mess? Not me... Lucia Helena must be a mess because out of the 3 sisters she was always the worst

Lucia Helena is being a mess in New York you are a mess in Niteroi whos the worst here?

You! Accept it... my life is great... kids are great... everything is great at home!

Weird... What about Marcelina?

Marcelina... I roasted her ass this week... she's walking on thin ice.... got a job...

She's waking up early... at this time she probably left the house already

And Juliano too... he's graduated... looking for a job... can't find shit... but he's looking

he's cleaner now.... organized... you have to see..

When was Juliano sloppy? I always thought he was a clean boy

It's because you have that image of the clean gay... the nice smelling gay

fresh out of the shower but Juliano is a pig.... Juliano does the gays so dirty

He... salts the gays game...

Oh I know its like a pulmonologist smoking... nutricionist out of shape...I'm sorry... we dont really understand...

Oh sometimes I think... thank God Juliano is gay

thank God! Garib lives in Brasilia with his wife... Juliano likes men

I am a woman with no daughters in law

But it must be so hard for a mother to find out her son is gay

No it isnt... at first it's hard and after that is wonderful!

Right... as if...

You better get used to the idea because when João Marcelo comes out you're ok with it already

João Marcelo my child? João Marcelo isn't gay

Isn't gay... gay to the bone... give me two of these sweetie..

João Marcelo if you look at his Instagram he's gay... accept it Iesa

If-if he was gay I would accept it but he is not gay... he just lives in Europe for years

and people there are more delicated

Iesa let me tell you something... our sons are gay

All queer, Iesa

It's genetic Iesa

Genetic where? Who else in our family is gay?

Lucia Helena

Shut up Lucia Helena used to have boyfriends all the time... you are crazy....

Lesbian.... she had boyfriends because she was a closet lesbian

Say this to her face Hermina: Everything good Mr Martins?

She said she was coming here just had to confirm the date

Coming here my ass Lucia Helena changes her mind all the time... she's a liar... dumbass...

She's a lesbian but a dumb one... that's what she is.

Hi Mrs Lourdes, how are you? Look at Mrs Lourdes she appears out of the blue

She's the one who gossips like it's her job right?

For the love of God do not ask her any questions because she'll tell us her entire life story...

She'll even tell us about her past life

She looks so different...

Different on the outside, inside she's the same old shit

Here she comes please don't leave my side

Herminia!

Hi Mrs Lourdes!

What a good coincidence!

Bye Herminia! I gotta go...

Snake...

Everything's good?

Everything's great! Did you notice something? It was thanks to you!

What is it?

I watch all the episodes.... follow all your tips... let me tell you... I'm dating

No way!

A super young man but so mature you know?

How old?

80... but the mind is young!

Only the mind tho... because 80 years old... everything below the neck is useless

I love your sense of humor!

Its not sense of humor tho... I'm giving you this tip and telling you the truth... let me go now..

See ya! Stay safe Mrs Lourdes... bye

Bye! She's amazing... what did she buy?

Good Morning Mrs Herminia

Good Morning!

Mrs Herminia

Humm... I can't stand this condominium manager

Mrs Herminia just a second please

What is it dude

I already told you, you can't use this elevator with all these bags

You're out of your damn mind

What?

Mrs Herminia

I'm not even gonna answer you

Giving me orders... go to hell

What happened?

Can you believe the assface condominium manager asked me to use the back elevator because I'm carrying bags

I know that elevator exists but I used the front one just out of bitterness

that man is unbarable

He's right tho

If you're bringing a lot of bags you should use the back one

Poor me tho... I could be in a gown and I would still have to use the back one

He's always standing there like an entity

Hum... Mrs Herminia I have a message for you

What is it? Is it important?

Very important

Is it from the TV channel?

Yeah but in this case I'm the Channel

My life is all fucked up

This is none of my business

This is all your business you're my boss you gotta give me a loan

I'm not giving up no loans you owe me a lot

What do I owe you? what the hell

You moved to an apartment 20 times bigger and didn't gave me a raise

That means I'm cleaning shit for free

Oh right? What about all the shit you swept under the rugs?

You're not remembering about that right?

I would never!

Quit playing dumb...

I would never do such thing... That's a rule amongst cleaning ladies... it's forbidden!

I would never!

Juliano!

Juliano: Give me that let me see Herminia: teach me

Juliano: Ok here Herminia: how did you do that?

Juliano: Here you go Herminia: HOLD ON HOW DID YOU DO IT

Juliano: Mom it's done, it's working, just use it! Herminia: I WANT TO LEARN!

Look Juliano you have no shame! Selfish! Impatient! You don't know how to care for people...

You won't stop?

Boy... you respect me... quit being a piece of shit I will throw this phone on your..

Hi grandma!

Hi! Who is grandma's cutest little thing?

Juliano: Jesus...

Baby: I miss you so much

Grandma is gonna... who's gonna spend a few days here in Rio with grandma?

Baby: I'm going to your house!

Grandma will squeeze you squish you so much... you'll leave here hating grandma!

You gonna hate grandma!

what?

Good morning

Marcelina, you're dressed like this... you're jobless aren't you?

I'm working with Shakespeare mom, in the theather

What on earth...

Hey! My love! Grandma will have to hang up okay? Grandma is about to drag the shit out of Marcelina okay?

I'm gonna end her life she's gonna be below the snake's ass but grandma loves you okay?

Baby: Okay!

I love you, your mom, your dad... your mom grandma doesn't love okay?

Grandma holds some grudges of her... but grandma loves you okay? Tell her I sent her a kiss!

Baby: Bye grandma! Kisses Herminia: Kisses!!

What this shit about Shakespeare Marcelina?

Well mom I quit the job at the store... you don't want me to work? So I'm gonna work with what I want... My dream

Wanna know whats my dream Marcelina? Kick your ass

But I can't because I'd go to jail

I do not want you here locked in this house doing nothing until you get this theater thing going

But mom I need time to study so I can pass the tests!

Who you think you're fooling Marcelina? You don't study, never did my daughter, never touched a book

Unlike your brother, studied so much, graduated...

Picking on me I see... studied, graduated and can't find a job right?

He's unemployed and that's another subject, I will drag his ass another time!

When you decide to drag, drag him about everything!

What the hell...

What is it guys? Is there something I don't know?

Yes, we have news

Marcelina please don't...

Juliano is playing on the other team! Yeah... he's hetero now!

What is this hetero nonsense Juliano!

This is shit from your father isn't it?

Dad has nothing to do with this mom!

Since when are you straight my son!

I am not straight!

See Marcelina he's not straight! You keep trying to make us fight my daughter!

I'm bi.

Enough!

Get out of my kitchen!

This is some crazy shit Juliano: girl do you see what you've done

Mom look here, I'm great you have nothing to do with this and I am glowing!

I'm chill!

Chill my ass!

"I'm chill" you're lost... first you want men now you want women... every minute you change

Making me confused!

But finding a damn job? That's something you don't want

Bum

I'm over it!

This is my house, my rules!

They have no manners... they don't have anything

They have no boundaries!

You know what? I don't give a shit!

As long as I remember all the shit you said to me today I won't give a rotten tomatoe to the both of you!

Till the end of this year...

Marcelina: Damn mom this is so annoying Juliano: Why won't you stop being so annoying?

I won't stop! I won't stop anything... Marcelina

Juliano: Mom stop!

Juliano!

STOP!

Look at this cute quote "Being a mom is feeling flooded of gratitude for everything she recieves

and learn with her kids." Isnt it true?

No it isn't true! "Being a mom is a curse!" I found this one on the internet the author is unknown

because if we do find him his ass is getting beaten

And that's why we are here with a mom.... but shes a Saint's mom...

We are trying to get some answers from the other side because here on earth we don't know what to do anymore

How are you?

So the theme of today's show would be "My son won't stop bugging the cleaning lady" but we changed a little

nothing much, we changed to "My son won't stop saying he's bi and my daughter thinks shes an actress"

which is exactly what I'm going thru at home

What is she doing? She changed the theme?

There's nothing here about that

Damn guys... the kids at home... they're all lost... let me tell you... FATIMA!

Hi! Hi Herminia!

You're totally gonna help me with this

How are you? It's such a pleasure, I'm loving the show!

Are you for real?

It's great! Now what about you?

I'm kicking the can down the road...

What happened?

Ugh Fatima I'm always here thinking where did I go wrong my kids at home are all lost

No they're not, all moms think like this, even when we mess up we are trying to get it right...

It happens...

And when do you mess up? Tell me one time you messed something up

I do make mistakes

No way! You're a great person, beautiful, clear skin, great hair

you shouldn't even be here amongst us mere mortals, you should be at the Louvre Museum

That's because you don't live with me, I have flaws, I make mistakes, I get nervous...

Nervous where?

Yes I do

No way... 14 years doing news reports... I can see it, someone was born you were there serene

someone blew up something you were there talking calmly... "the Berlin Walls fell" you were there serene

That was only on the outside... inside I was... when I look at you, you're so calm

Because I took my meds

3 drops in the morning, 3 drops in the afternoon and 3 drops at night

Everyday?

Everyday.

Ok but let's talk about you, are you dating?

When will I find time to date if the kids at home don't grow up

Don't grow up... they don't grow up or you don't want them to... have you thought about this?

When will I find time to think about this when the kids at home won't grow up

Herminia you're one of a kind... Ok let's do this... I'm gonna talk about this on my show

and we will try to help you okay?

Aw Fatima hopefully...

Thank you

You're leaving too?

Yeah I'm going... I will see if I can show up at your show

You should! We will talk about that and we'll try to solve it...

Mrs Zélia! The doorbell! Didn't you hear?

Hi!

Go see your aunt! Go!

Aunt Zélia!

How are you doing auntie

Hi Herminia! My sweet niece! How are the kids?

Marcelina wants to be an actress... she's lost right auntie?

What about Juliano?

Juliano is lost too... unemployed... is saying hes bi....

Ihhhh

But I'm gonna talk with Carlos Alberto... he wanted to be a father now deal with it

That's right! Put him on the spot!

Did you take your meds?

You know what? It's good that you reminded me....

Yes she did!

No I didn't

Yes you did...

You did or didn't auntie?

Who do you think is telling the truth? Look at my face and look at hers

She's the sclerosed one

Oh my... where are you going?

The restroom

It's this way auntie

Bring us some coffee

The coffee is here... How is she doing?

She's getting more forgetful as the days go by...

Oh my God...

Ahh Herminia! I had an idea.... call Carlos Alberto and put him on the spot!

You already said that auntie...

So what's going on Herminia?

Well I came here to talk about Marcelina

Okay go on

She put in in her head that she wants to be an actress and spends the entire day at home bothering me

waiting for a casting oportunity

But that's normal for actresses, as long as is not the casting couch I don't see a problem

What casting couch Carlos Alberto... if Marcelina does a casting couch she's gonna break the couch

miss the oportunity and we'll have to pay for a new couch

Let Marcelina be... Let's do this, give it some time and we'll talk about this with her later if things don't work out

Easy as that.

Look at you being all understanding and comprehensive

How about you let them live with me for a while, you want that?

Absolutely

Ok, but is this really the right thing?

Gave up so quickly Carlos Alberto

Easy Herminia... I will help you, I will talk with them ok? But let's talk about you

I was talking about me the whole time

No no no, you only talked about the kids I didn't hear a thing about you

But I'm seeing you, and I saw that you're so gorgeous

You're out of your mind

Smelling nice all dressed up to see me

Carlos Alberto you didn't even brush your teeth back in the day

I'm dressed up for the world, to see people, to be seen

Are you looking for a new love? I'm single

And what's new about you? You're like a museum piece for me

I love you when you're like this all worked up

You have any idea of how ridiculous you sound? Hitting on me after all this time

You're so old Carlos Alberto

Don't you know the saying? Old pots make the best dishes

First of all that's not a saying, it's a song

Second you're not an old pot you're an exploded all fucked up missing the lid and the handle looking pot

Those pots with black ashy residue coming out and giving people an ulcer

So good to know you're still in love with me

You're out of your damn mind... Bring me the bill please

No don't pay the bill just yet, stay for a little longer

I won't pay shit, you're gonna pay I wanna be compensated, I don't have to put up with your shit

Ok then... Hot stuff

Quit drinking Carlos Alberto you're crazy

Mom

What is it?

Where are those shirts I left out of my closet?

I put them away

Where?

In the trash

What?

I put them all in the trash, I decreed total loss, they were filthy! With holes under the arms

Mom listen to me, you don't have the right of going through my things!

Rights my ass, if you want rights you have duties, this is my damn house I own this shit

[Vlog #06] East ya West India is The Best - Duration: 4:17.

Yesterday We came to Bhubneshwar from Kolkata

Wanted to do few crazy stuff there

Wanted to click a photo of an Idol in Lingraj Temple

We have traveled Odisha earlier in 2015

We came to see that Idol

But they have made many alterations to it

Main thing was her Eyes, which were very lively

Somebody has donated silver eyes, lips & cloth

That has stolen its aura

Camera is prohibited over there

so we were going to snick in

but that alteration had stolen our thunder

We went there just for that only

otherwise would have skipped the city

we tried to skip repeated places

We are on the way to Vijaywada

Chilika Lake (Its a Brackish Water Lagoon)

In Bengluru, on outer ring road

I'm roaming aroung for so long now

See the rain is back again, its chasing us for 3 days now

Transition Is Often Not Under Your Control from Transition is the New Normal 2016 - Duration: 0:50.

It's an opportunity for you to readjust your course.

To perhaps see where you've been on a path that is not the path for you.

Which is perhaps why -- layoffs are horrible because it usually has -- in most cases -- I

would say 99% of the cases -- it has nothing to do with you.

A lot of us have been in that position.

That project didn't come through.

That sale didn't get made.

Well, guess, what?

We don't have the work for the people we've staffed up to do.

Take that to heart and see this truly as an opportunity for you to move beyond a company

that is perhaps struggling or needs to evaluate its own priorities and evaluate your own.

See this as an opportunity to get a little "kick in the butt" sometimes which we all

need on many occasions and more forward.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel Is RUDE To Ivanka Trump, But Donald's Daughter Gets The Last Laugh… - Duration: 2:27.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel Is RUDE To Ivanka Trump, But Donald's Daughter Gets

The Last Laugh…

Ivanka Trump made her first international trip as first daughter this week when she

she travelled to Germany for a Women's Summit.

Unfortunately, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her fellow liberal elitists were incredibly

rude to Ivanka during her time there.

Now, however, Ivanka is getting the last laugh.

Mad World News reported that a group of liberal German women booed and hissed Ivanka while

she tried to answer questions about her father.

"I'm very proud of my father's advocacy," Ivanka said as the booing began, adding that

President Trump is "a tremendous champion of supporting families and enabling them to

thrive."

Merkel was sitting right next to Ivanka, yet she made no effort to come to her defense

and stop the booing.

The summit's moderator, however, decided to try and go in for the kill.

"You are first daughter — German audience is not familiar — what is your role — to

whom are you represented?

Your father, the American people, or your business," asked Miriam Meckel, editor of

German business magazine Wirtschaftswoche.

"Well, certainly not the latter, and I am rather unfamiliar with this role as well,

as it is quite new to me," Ivanka fired back.

"It has been a little under 100 days, but it is just been a remarkable, an incredible

journey."

BAM!

We love how Ivanka shamed her female haters, staring them down in a way that said "aren't

women supposed to stick together?"

SHARE this story if you LOVE and support Ivanka Trump!

Momma Interviews "Expert Edition" featuring Amanda Zaidman, LCSW | HappyWithBaby.com - Duration: 20:19.

Amanda: Okay.

Catherine: Yeah.

Hi this is Catherine O'Brien again at happywithbaby.com, and I'm doing another one of my expert interviews

with mommas around the country.

I'm so excited because Amanda Zaidman is here with us today, and she is a LCSW in

Charlotte, North Carolina and has her own private practice.

So thank you so much for being with us.

I'm so glad you could join us.

Amanda: Thank you for having me.

Catherine: Yeah.

So why don't you tell us a little bit about your family?

What's your family dynamics?

Amanda: Okay.

So I have two children.

I have a daughter, Maia, she's nine years old and she's in third grade.

And then we have a son, Jonah, who his eight years old and he's in second grade.

And then I'm married.

My husband is Jess.

Catherine: Okay.

Cool.

So tell me about how do you balance being a mom, working, and your relationship goal?

Amanda: Well, so for me it's ... The balance really is leaning more towards prioritizing

my family.

In terms of balancing career, and family, and so that meant when I got pregnant with

our first child I decided to take time off from my career.

I'm a clinical social worker, and so at that point I was working in an agency, and honestly

the salary I was making would have probably barely covered a nanny, and I was working

with children and I love children.

So my husband and I talked, and it really made sense for me to take that time and spend

it raising our kids, being a stay at home mom.

And then during that time I prioritized my career, just keeping up with my CE's because

I knew I wanted to go back, but I was home until both my children were in elementary

school.

And then with my husband, when they were young it definitely took a toll on our relationship

but as they've gotten older it's easier to prioritize that alone time, spend time one-on-one

together.

Catherine: Yeah.

Yeah.

I know it's always ... I feel like it's a constant adjustment of how get ... How you

do all those things, because especially as they grow, and age, and their needs and such

change it's a constant adjustment.

So I talked to a lot of moms and they often speak about moments when they're ready to

throw in the towel.

Have you ever had one of those moments, and can you describe that and what ... Why you

felt that way and what got you through it?

Amanda: Thinking about that I think the clearest time for me was when I had my first daughter,

my first child.

She, for six weeks, was really hard.

She had trouble learning how to latch, and so we had a lactation consultant.

It was really important to me that we try to figure that out.

I was willing to use formula if that's what we needed to do, but I wanted to try everything

else first.

And it was a very vulnerable time.

You're having people touching my body that way, and then not being able to ... It wasn't

working.

And so I would have to pump every feeding and then after we were done ... After I was

done pumping I would try to nurse for five minutes and then when it didn't work, I would feed her the bottle.

And so we did six weeks of that.

I think a hard piece too was that then we were seeing everything she was getting.

And so she was starting to learn how to latch, and my husband would say "How do you know

she's getting enough?"

Which, of course as a father looking back that makes perfect sense.

You saw what she was getting and now we're not sure.

We could see her weight going up, but it felt like an attack in a way.

It's just your body feeding her.

How do we know that you're really able to do it?

So that was a really hard time for us.

But she did learn to latch and she got older, and it got so much easier.

Catherine: Yeah.

Yeah.

No, it is ... It's exhausting.

That's an exhausting process, and doing all those steps, and being a new mom, and having

all those doubts and stuff like that.

It definitely takes a toll.

And I know I've heard that from other families and stuff too.

So what do you do when you feel overwhelmed, over stretched, or less than?

Amanda: Well typically if I am feeling really overwhelmed I go to my husband.

He's really my rock.

He's very supportive.

When I'm upset he takes it seriously and he gives good advice.

And I also try to prioritize time, downtime for myself.

So whether that's yoga, or meditation, or spending time with my friends, that sort of

thing.

That's what I do when I'm feeling stressed.

Catherine: Yeah.

That's good that you have that support.

I've also had parents tell me that one of the hardest things about being a parent is

comparisons and judgements from other parents.

Have you experienced that, and then how do you cope with that?

Amanda: Well in terms of judgements, that's not really been a big issue for me just because

I think I tend to gravitate towards women who are kind and supportive.

Who are wise and that's just the people I want to be around.

And so the judgment piece I believe ... I can't think of a time when that's a been a

big issue.

But the comparison piece does sort of play in there because I'm ... The people that I'm

with I'm in awe of them a lot of times, so trying to keep up with either what they're doing with their

kids, or their career, or they decided to do private school so what opportunities do

they're kids have that mine aren't getting, or just always comparing in my own mind.

When that happens I try to ground myself and recognize that that's not what's important.

That that's not why we're friends.

That's not important to them.

Maybe we all play this game in our heads, but I'm not thinking that about them, "Oh

what are they doing," or "What are their kids doing?"

But I think it is very hard, it's a challenge to remember to just try to worry about myself

in a sense.

Catherine: Right.

Right.

Yeah, it's almost like coming up with a mantra or something in your head.

Like, "It's just me that we have to worry about.

Our family and not everybody else's," because there's such a dynamic for ... Everybody has

a different dynamic, and different needs, and it's not even fair to compare.

So I know that's easier said than done.

So what do you feel is your greatest personal struggle with the experience of motherhood?

Amanda: I think, for me something I do struggle with is self-judgment.

I think a lot of it was alluding to that already, but even just ... I've thought a lot about

what it meant when I took that time off to be home with my kids.

I spent so much time working hard to prove myself through my grades, and then in a career,

and there was always something almost tangible.

I got the A, or I got the raise, or I got the pat on the back.

And then being home with my children it didn't feel that way.

I gave more of myself than I'd ever done before, but it doesn't end.

The dishes are always there.

The laundry's always there.

Someone always needs you.

So that has been hard, and I think I hold myself a high standard.

How do you know that you're doing it right?

And it's hard at times to not take things personally when really it's just I'm raising

my children.

They're their own people, they're not me.

But when things don't go well, like when my daughter didn't nurse, when my kids needed

bk, even every time my son talks back and refuses to do what we've asked him to.

Just very typical things.

It's not always easy to just normalize and that say, "They're being their own person.

I'm doing my best to be a good mom."

But I think having the background that I have in child mental health, and now recreating

myself as this parenting expert, it's hard to remember "Okay that's being a parent.

Being someone who understands parenting well doesn't mean you're a perfect parent.

And that's okay."

Catherine: Right.

There's no such things as the perfect parent.

Yeah, but it's definitely easy to be like, "Oh no, they're doing this.

Somehow that is a reflection like I'm being a bad parent."

When it is, so much of it is this typical child development stuff that they have to

go through to become their own person.

So that's a good reminder.

So tell me something that has surprised you about being a mom that maybe you didn't realize

you'd enjoy, or something you didn't know that kids did.

Because I know for me I have this similar background in child mental health as well,

but having my own kids totally woke me up to like, "Oh wow.

I didn't realize this happened."

Or something you didn't know could bring you so much joy.

Like what do you love about being a mom?

Amanda: I didn't know that it would feel like this.

I'm a pretty connected person.

I feel my emotions large with my friends and my family, so it's not a shock that I would

feel this way, but what it feels like to just give so much to this little person and then

send them off.

I remember when my daughter went to preschool for the first time, and I was like "I can't

... How is she functioning right without me by her side?"

And she came home with little stories of this life she's creating and it was amazing.

But it is, all of those feelings are so big.

When something goes well, just feeling so happy.

When something bad happens to one of my kids, feeling scared for them.

And just, I didn't realize that it would be like this.

And it's getting exciting.

They're seven and nine ... They're eight and nine actually, and so they're at ages where

it's just really fun.

They don't need me as much.

They're doing things on their own.

Sometimes things that I don't even understand. The work that they're bringing home or chess clubs or whatever.

So there's a sense of them being their own person, and I love it.

I love learning from them.

Yeah.

Catherine: Yeah, no it is fun.

So tell me about your relationship with your partner.

How has that changed and/or how has that stayed the same?

Amanda: It's definitely very different.

Our relationship before we had children versus now.

It was easy before we had kids.

We were always pretty much on the same page.

Having children makes everything more complicated.

It makes it harder.

But it feels like, having done it this long, we're a team and we depend on each other and

count on each other's perspectives, which often are different.

But we each bring something to the table.

But yeah ... I mean, I think I notice we went away for our anniversary to Napa for a week

and it was like "Wow.

This is what it's like to be with just you and I having fun without kids.

It's so easy we don't even fight about anything."

So that's ... It's harder.

But again, he ... I don't know ... I can't imagine doing it without him.

It's worth how hard it is.

I'm amazed by the father that he is to our children.

Catherine: Yeah.

Yeah.

I know that's awesome to hear.

And it is good to have those times where you can reconnect, and you're "Oh yeah.

I really like being with you.

Everything's not always a battle. I like being with you.

So this'll be good when they move out."

Amanda: Yeah.

Right?

Catherine: Cool.

So what about relationships with friends, family, or other support systems?

How has that changed or stayed the same?

Amanda: Well you mean since I've had children?

Catherine: Yeah.

Amanda: So I've always, I think friends and family have always been super important to

me.

Spending time with others.

I'm not ... I'm an extrovert.

And that has been consistent, but as I've had my own children I think the biggest change

maybe has been the way that I look back at my own childhood and all of the sacrifices

that my parents made.

The respect that I have for my mom for everything that she did.

She couldn't have kids right away, and so she adopted me, and she had two more with

my father.

But he then was diagnosed with brain cancer before she actually delivered my youngest

brother.

So he died when I was, well when I was almost five.

And then she remarried.

So there's a lot of drama in the beginning and things to smooth out.

And my mom remarried, and my stepdad is amazing and I don't think of him as a stepdad at all.

But I knew that.

I lived that.

And then I became that age when my mom would have found out that my dad was sick,

and the age when my dad died, and just thinking about how strong she was, and how she's there

for us, just gave a new perspective, a whole new dimension to our relationship.

Catherine: Right.

Right.

Well that's cool.

So what's the greatest lesson, or one of the lessons, that you've learned about as being

a mom?

Amanda: Well I did take this course I learned at ... From a parent educator.

Elizabeth Crary It's called Star Parenting.

I became a facilitator in that, but she has a mantra that's "A star parent is a growing

parent, not a perfect parent."

Catherine: Oh, I love that.

Amanda: And I think that just rings true to me that, that's my goal.

I really ground myself in that when I'm struggling, when I'm comparing myself, and I'm judging

myself that any little growth.

That's my goal.

I can't be perfect and that's okay, but I want to do better.

Everyday I learn something. Catherine: Yeah.

No, I love that.

It's not perfect parent, it's a growing parent.

Is that what you said?

Amanda: Mm-hmm (affirmative).

Catherine: Yeah.

That's so perfect.

Yeah.

So a favorite quote that inspires you as a mom?

I think that's a pretty good one, but any others?

Amanda: Yeah I guess it is the one that I think of.

I don't know.

I'm just thinking ... Yeah.

That's the quote that stays with me. Catherine: Yeah.

Yeah.

Cool.

How about favorite song that inspires you as a mom, or makes you think of being a mom?

Amanda: There's a song by Sara McLachlin, the ice cream song.

"Your love is better than ice cream.

Your love is better than chocolate."

That was playing once when ... We have a lot of music in our house usually, and that was

playing once when the kids were around me.

And I always just thought it was a pretty song and it [inaudible 00:15:03] thinking

about how much I always thought about it in terms of my husband.

How much I love him.

But when my children were there, and I thought "God, this song's even deeper than that love

somehow."

Yeah.

And I think that song makes me think of my kids now.

Catherine: Yeah.

I'll have to check that out.

I mean, I'm sure probably I've heard it, but I'm always terrible about the names of songs.

[crosstalk 00:15:27] Amanda: I'd sing it for you, but yeah [crosstalk

00:15:29] either.

Catherine: Cool.

How about any you can't live without gadgets, or some kind of product or something that

has made mom life easier or better for you?

Something that you're like, "Oh this is cool," or ...

Amanda: Yeah.

There's maybe a couple things right now.

We're really into Alexa.

I think that's [inaudible 00:15:49] and we love having music, so it's just so easy that

before we'd have to turn on our phone and sync to our speakers.

But I think she just came on.

Alexa off.

Sorry about that.

Catherine: It's like, "Are you talking to me?"

Amanda: Yeah so just at this moment we have dance parties, or we always have something

playing in the background.

It's just changes our mood.

And then another big one was definitely ... So I really want my children to ... They're getting

older, and we're thinking about gadgets and devices, and screen time, and I want them

to keep their ... They've grown up [inaudible 00:16:24] but I want no screens in the room.

I don't want computers in their room, and when they get phones I don't want them ... Meanwhile

my phone was my alarm clock, and it had been for years.

I'm going to say, can you pause because it's still going.

Catherine: Yeah.

Yeah.

Amanda: Hold on.

Alexa.

Off.

It won't go off.

Alexa.

Off.

Okay.

Good.

Sorry about that.

Catherine: It's okay.

Amanda: Oh, so I was saying that I really wanted to have our bedrooms be a screen free

zone.

No televisions, no phones, no iPads, no computers, but I had used for years my cellphone as my

alarm clock.

And so that meant it's time for bed and I would ... I'd always get it out and be on

it.

The kids would come in in the morning and I'd wake up and I'd have to check emails,

and texts, and see what was going on.

And I found this alarm clock by Emerson, I'm sure there's plenty of them, but it has atomic

time so you don't have to set it when the power goes out.

Which happens a lot with the thunderstorms in North Carolina.

When the power goes out you don't have to ... I figured it couldn't be harder than my

cellphone or I wouldn't use it.

And it lets me set the time to the alarm I have.

There's two of them.

So there's a weekday alarm, and then on the weekends it knows not to ring.

So I never touch it which makes it easy.

And that's made it so that I can sleep without my phone in the room, and hopefully that's

as the kids get older in our house we don't do that, versus you don't do that but

I use my cellphone.

Catherine: Yeah.

Yeah.

No that sounds cool.

I'll have to check that out because I was thinking I need an alarm clock because [crosstalk

00:18:05] the phone by your bed when I was reading this study and I was like "Oh, I should

get the phone out of my room."

Amanda: I'm pretty sure Emerson makes it.

The only downside it has a bright blue screen, but you can turn it away.

Catherine: Yeah.

Okay, so last question is what is the one piece of advice you like to give other moms?

What are your final thoughts?

Amanda: I think something that I've been thinking a lot about recently is mindfulness.

I, as someone who worked with children, and I'm a parent, I spend a lot of time talking

about how to stop and think before you make a choice.

As a child [inaudible 00:18:46] how do you do that?

As a parent how do you stop and think about how you want to parent with intention?

And then I would find myself at home with my kids, and if I was tired, or I was stressed,

or I was hungry, snapping at them and acting in a way that I wasn't proud of.

So there felt like there was an inconsistency there.

And then I discovered mindfulness, and I feel like that has really been such a gift.

It's not just what to do, but it's how.

How do you find the space to calm yourself down in the moment, so that you can really

respond rather than react?

And it's something that a mentor of mine had talked about when ... Before I ever had children,

but I didn't really look into it.

I learned certain parts about the brain, and the relevant pieces of it but not exactly

what it is.

And I wish I had understood it better and started meditation practice before I

had children, or even when they were younger.

It's something I would encourage any mom who's interested in figuring out how do you parent

with intention?

How do you really hold true to those values when in the moment where we're always

triggered by the amount of stress we have because of multitasking and all the responsibilities we have?

Or how do you ground yourself during those times?

Catherine: Yeah.

Yeah, like things fly at us and then all of a sudden it's like, "What?"

And you just yell and you get upset, and it's like ...

Amanda: Yeah.

Catherine: "Oh I didn't mean to do that."

But, yeah.

How do I stay in this moment and let the things fly but not penetrate or something?

So ... Amanda: Mm-hmm (affirmative).

Catherine: Yeah.

No, I think that's such a good practice and can be hard to do, but I think yeah worth

practicing.

Makes it easier and such.

So ... Well thank you for joining us.

You have any other final thoughts or anything you want to say before we end?

Amanda: I think we've covered everything.

Catherine: Okay, cool.

Well thank you so much.

I'm so glad you could be here and share with us your wisdom, and your insights, and your

little nuggets.

So thank you so much, and have a good day.

Amanda: Thank you.

Catherine: All right.

Bye.

Amanda: Bye.
