EDGELORD - Duration: 2:38.

[Theme Song] He is The Edgelord!!!!

His world, it is so bleak.

He is The Edgelord!!!!

He will never conform.

He is Edgelord!

You are not Edgelord!

He is Edgelord!

You are not Edgelord.

Edgelord!

I'm edgy as fuck!

I can't believe the news today.

Oh boy, me neither, but what are you gonna do?

You will do nothing because nothing is all we have!

Hey! Good morning Edgelord.

Bad morning!

Take it easy, Edgelord.

Take it hard, Mom!

Don't be so mean to your mother, Edgelord.

Don't be supreme to your nothing, Non-God!

Did you call me a Non-God?

I never said I was God!

If there was a God here I would kill her!

That's way too edgy, Edgelord.

Why don't you get on the bus and go to school?

Why don't you get on your knees and pray for death?

[Theme Song] Get on the bus, wish it would rain.

Get on the bus, so full of angst!

History class is a study of mistakes made by the dead!!!

Mistakes you all will repeat!!!

I'd rather feast on pain!

Winning is for losers.

I will not read liesssssssssssssssss!!!!!

Hey.

Hay is for horses! You are nothing but a sheep!

What do you want, Amanda?

Edgelord...

I was wondering if you

wanted to go to Prom.

Prom stands for Pee-ons Rehashing Obsolete Madness!

I don't think so.

I think Prom stands for Promenade Dance.

Death is a dance on the floor of a coffin.

So... will you go with me?

Wherever I go, I go alone!

Edgelord, behind all that edge...

You're really cute.

Fine!

I'll go!

But on one condition!

What's that?

I wear black!!!!

Most tuxedos are black.

Good, my tuxedo will represent the darkness of my soul!!!

Great!

Pick me up at 6 on Saturday!

6 is for suckers!

And I don't drive!

Uhhh... ok.

I'll pick you up at 7?

See you Saturday, Amanda.

Should be a lot of fun.

Don't tell anyone I said that.

[Theme Song] He is The Edgelord!!!!

You are not Edgelord!

He is Edgelord!

You are not Edgelord.

Edgelord!

FistPointer: Target Selection Technique using Mid-air Interaction for Mobile VR Environment - Duration: 2:11.

FistPointer: Target Selection Technique using Mid-air Interaction for Mobile VR Environment.

Mobile virtual reality environments using a cardboard viewer and smartphone enable new

possibilities for people to experience VR easily and inexpensively.

However, in such mobile VR environments, the touch screen of the smartphone is covered

and the user is thus prevented from touching the screen.

Therefore, it is difficult to realize applications that need active operations, such as games.

To address this problem, we present FistPointer, a technique that displays a pointer on the

screen corresponding to the position of the hand detected by the built-in back camera

of the mobile device. The user can select a target by folding the

thumb.

We conducted a pilot study to investigate the target size that can be accurately selected

by a user. We used three target size conditions for the

pilot study, and evaluated the time and accuracy of the target selection.

The participants selected 20 targets under each size condition as a task.

It was found that for the large size condition, participants could select a target with 88.4%

accuracy in 2.0 seconds. For the medium size condition, participants

could select a target with 85.8% accuracy in 2.7 seconds.

We also implemented a text entry application, where users can move a pointer by moving their

hand and select a key by folding their thumb.

FistPointer is useful for target selection in mobile VR environments, and we believe

that this study expands the potential of mobile VR.

Lobos for Life – Robert Garcia - Duration: 1:48.

Eight years ago this was just like a , 'hey, I'm going to go back to school because I'm tired of doing

computer support, I'm tired of working nights.'

In the beginning it was definitely rough.

There was a couple of times close to failing where it was like, 'can I do this?'

Since I've started working the night shift I've been in this constant state of being tired.

I would drive down here, sleep in my car in the South Lot, get on the bus,

come here take the class for an hour and fifteen minutes, head back to the car and drive home and then go to sleep.

Other semesters I'd head over to the Zimmerman Library and downstairs in the

basement they have these little pods where you can study.

So, I'd rent one of those for two hours, throw my backpack on the floor and sleep.

It was a very hard process but I always knew that I was working toward a goal.

You take it one class at a time, one homework assignment at a time,

one test at a time, one semester at a time and you'll get there.

I got to give my girlfriend credit for putting up with me and all the stressful nights and lack of sleep.

But definitely the support of all the students and that was one

thing that's always been present all four years here and that's what kept me going

and that's what enabled me to get where I am today.

To have that piece of paper saying Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering, that's the dream

that I didn't think would happen but I kept going and it's here.

The road may be longer for some than others but one foot at a time to keep going and the destination is far sweeter.

NGSConnex: How to Submit Reopenings & Redeterminations - Duration: 5:23.

Hello and welcome to our video on how to submit reopenings and redeterminations in our self-service

portal, NGSConnex.

We will start as if we were checking claim status by clicking on the My Claims tab, selecting

the appropriate PTAN, and choosing claim type "Claims" before clicking "Go".

Enter all of the required information such as the beneficiary's Medicare number, last

name, first name, and date of birth then click "Load Claims".

Now you can select the claim you would like to view.

Once the claim is open, you can see that under "Claim Lines" there are two different choices:

"Initiate Reopening" or "Initiate Redetermination".

Let's look at how to submit a reopening first.

Reopenings are used to change the information billed on the claim.

Click on the button "Initiate Reopening", and this will open the Medicare Reopening

Request form.

Here you will need to enter some required fields.

These include a valid phone number, the claim line detail in question, the ICD code type,

ICD-9 or ICD-10, the requester's name, phone number, and signature.

If you need to change a line item you will click the Search/Browse icon located next

to the Claim Line Detail(s) field and this will open the Claim Lines Information box.

This can be the 'From' or 'To' service date, procedure code, billed amount, modifier, place

of service, diagnosis pointers, units of service, or the rendering doctor NPI.

If a line was billed in error and needs to be removed from the claim altogether you can

notify us by clicking the applicable checkbox under Deny Line Billed in Error.

The information will display in columns, similar to an Excel spreadsheet.

If all of the information in a column doesn't display or if all of the columns are not visible

you can expand or reduce the width of the column by clicking the white column divider

line and adjusting the column width.

Once complete click "Save", you will need to repeat this process for each line item

that needs to be changed and then click "OK."

This will take you back to the Medicare Reopening Request form page and you can change the diagnosis

codes, date last seen, place of service, zip codes, or change or add the referring provider.

Once you are happy with the changes click the OK button.

The Medicare Reopening Request form will no longer display, and your reopening has now

been submitted.

You will then receive an email confirming your submission.

Now we will look at how to submit a Redetermination.

A Redetermination is the first level of an appeal.

First click on the button "Initiate Redetermination".

This will open the Medicare Redetermination Request Form.

Just as we saw with the Reopening process, there are a few required fields.

They include a valid phone number, the claim line procedure code(s), requester's name,

and signature.

To start we will click the search icon which is next to "Claim Line Procedure Code".

This will open the Claim Lines Information form.

Enter the claim line information for the claim line(s) you are requesting the Redetermination

on and click ok.

If you are appealing the entire claim, indicate that you are doing so in the Reason for Appeal

field on the Medicare Redetermination Request form.

If the Redetermination request is past the timely filing limit you must indicate the

reason you believe Good Cause exists as part of your reason for the appeal.

Once all of the information is entered, click "OK".

The Medicare Redetermination Request form will no longer display and your redetermination

has been submitted.

You will then receive an email confirming your submission.

If supporting documentation needs to be included, click the New Record icon under the Attachments

panel to add the documentation.

Then click the Search icon next to File name field to open the Add Attachment window.

In the Add Attachment window, click the Browse button to search for the file you want to

attach and click Open.

The selected file will appear within the Submission Documents window.

You can repeat this process to add any additional documents as needed.

Once you have added all the applicable documentation, click the Attach File icon.

You will then receive an acknowledgement email.

Rest assured, including any protected health information or personally identifiable information

for this particular beneficiary is acceptable as NGSConnex is a secure internet portal.

If there is additional beneficiary information on your documents, please make sure to remove

their information.

Stay tuned to the National Government Services YouTube Channel for more opportunities to

learn about NGSConnex.

Conveyor Motor Testing - Using KEB's SCL™ control for PM Servo Motors - Duration: 3:15.

Welcome to the R&D facility here at KEB America.

In addition to the in-house testing we can do for product development, we can also offer

motor testing for customers.

In this case we've been working on S6 motor testing with a conveyor motor.

Just want to give you a quick introduction of what we've been doing.

So you can see over here's the conveyor motor.

You'll notice here there's the power cables coming out, but there's no encoder cables.

That's because with the S6 we're able to do the Sensorless Closed Loop or what we call

SCL.

That allows us to do the precise speed and torque control of closed loop without actually

needing the encoder feedback.

So you can see the motor cables coming back over here and then the S6 drive.

Looks a little empty because it's a relatively simple test setup.

But you can notice how the S6 with its slim profile doesn't take up much space in the

cabinet.

Up here you have the power cables coming from the main line into the motor.

Right here is your connector to go back to the computer to get set up with the software.

And then you have all the input and output terminals.

There's a lot of digital and analog inputs on the S6 drive.

This breakout board you can see here allows us to easily trigger those on and off using

a test setup we have.

So then as you follow the cables back here you can see our COMBIVIS 6 software.

That's what we use to get the motor and drive started up.

With the S6 drive and the other generation 6 products there's a lot of wizards offered

that allows you to quickly and easily get set up.

There's the scope functionality which allows you to add up to 16 parameters in the drive

and track them as you go through the operation.

So you can see for instance the output current to the motor or the voltage as you're starting,

stopping, accelerating, etc.

So in this application, like I said, we're using our S6 drive to run a conveyor motor.

This is a great fit for the S6 because of its high overloads.

It has up to 200% overload so when the conveyor, when you're starting and stopping so quickly,

in this case you're going up to 3000 rpm in 0.1 seconds, so that high overload is required.

And then the S6 also has that SCL that I mentioned earlier.

That allows for precise speed and torque and positioning control without requiring the

encoder feedback.

So that saves you both the cost of the encoder and the cabling.

And then also, in harsh environments it allows you to eliminate the encoder if it's in a

cold storage facility, or if you're worried about electrical noise interfering with the

encoder feedback.

So that's just kind of a general overview of the system we have here.

This is a great application fit for the S6 with this conveyor motor.

This drive and motor testing is just one of the additional benefits we have to offer here

at KEB America.

Smart Crew: A Smart Watch Design for Collaboration Amongst Flight Attendants - Duration: 4:13.

Flight attendants are always pressed for time.

As lead flight attendant, I try my best to ensure my fellow crewmembers and I collaborate

effectively to provide good customer service and ensure in-flight safety.

Yet it is not always easy and communication breakdowns can occur.

As flight attendants, we rely heavily on interphones to call one another and visual indicators

on display panels to communicate.

However, during service time, one can expect delays as crewmembers are busy serving passengers.

As their lead, I make physical rounds to each crewmember to assist them.

The challenge is that this requires a lot of movement throughout the plane and a lot

of time is spent being near collaboration tools.

I have to leave my other work activities to communicate and this is especially challenging

during emergency situations.

As researchers at Simon Fraser University's School of Interactive Arts and Technology,

we approached this problem from a user-centered design perspective.

We interviewed flight attendants about their work practices, produced design scenarios,

sketches, and wireframes, and then prototyped a system called SmartCrew for smart watches.

SmartCrew provides real-time location information of flight attendants, person-to-person messaging,

haptic feedback for flight alerts, and hands-free interactions so flight attendants can share

and receive information anywhere at anytime.

When crewmembers look at their watch they see the display of their assigned cabin's

seat and the location of other crewmembers. They can scroll to see the full plane.

A menu provides easy access to the systems' features.

SmartCrew fits seamlessly into the workflow of flight attendants.

After flight attendants do their initial checks of the airplane, they can notify me that they

are ready by giving a digital thumbs up.

This is easy for me to see and now means that I don't have to physically look around for

hand gestures.

The thumbs-down icon on the interface shows me who has not finished their checks yet and

if time is running low, I can tap to ask them to hurry up.

With SmartCrew, we remain mobile and updated about normal and emergency situations such

as turbulence.

I can tailor the notification about what type of turbulence we are going to encounter and

for how long it will last and they will all receive it simultaneously. The same applies

if I want crewmembers to quickly take their seats during turbulence.

With one tap on the seat belt button all crewmembers are notified with a vibration.

This lets them focus more on the next steps such as starting or ceasing service. If I can't

see crewmembers in person, I can send a message to all or selected crewmembers.

I can type or choose from a set of preset messages designed specifically to match our

typical flight attendant speak.

When messages are sent, there is a unique vibration pattern.

I can look at the message and over time even develop an understanding of the mapping between

vibration patterns and messages.

Next time, I will not have to look at my wrist and still be aware of the messages I receive.

In the case of emergencies, I can quickly ask for help or alert others of the situation.

SmartCrew shows me the location of where the situation takes place and others can come

to help out.

When they approach the location, vibrations from the watch let them know that they are

getting close and should keep an eye out for me.

Similarly flight attendants could receive calls from the interphone

as well as the flight attendant call button pressed by passengers.

SmartCrew is a web application developed for Samsung Gear S2 watches and could be easily

extended for other smart watches in the market.

We deployed a chat server using NodeJs and websockets to support real-time communication

and notifications to selected or few crew members.

We used low-range BLE beacons to track the location of crew members inside the plane

to provide spatial awareness to each other.

Happy Crew, Happy Passengers!

SmartCrew lets flight attendants be mobile, hands-free and aware to provide constant feedback

and support effective communication.
