Today, I hope to unearth a seemingly far-less discussed topic in Ascension culture � the
culture itself. Please, as with all things, discern what is appropriate for your own adventure.
Respectfully, we are all at unique places & needing different tools and information.
For the longest time, I�ve struggled with various words and concepts in this cultural
movement. It has been partially due to my healthy dose of skepticism, but perhaps more
than that, a feeling that all was not coherent with my soul. Nor was it a denial of this
process � in fact, I must admit this is very, very real, and more-so than many of
us are ready to understand. But just like any business, corporation, group, or culture:
one must use their heart to navigate what feels true, beautiful, and authentic. Note
again, the heart.
�Light and love� is a phrase that is tossed around quite playfully among individuals in
Ascension culture. Among many words, phrases, and concepts, these can be �kept in the
intellect�, or intellectualized, as I like to say � instead of truly bringing this
energy into the heart, the soul. Using that as a platform: Ascension culture itself can
too, be intellectualized or, instead brought into the heart.
Let this be a wake-up call, if need be: This journey is not wholly about �I�m a light-worker�
and �There are dark forces & a false matrix.� This is, however no doubt, an important step
in the process, but it is not a place to remain. Eventually, you will be forced to confront
why you have created these circumstances for yourself, and bring it all into your heart
� in this process, you are creating unity consciousness, or oneness.
Again, this does not happen to you. Your work and expansion creates Ascension.
I must share a deeply significant secret. Without fail, every single time I have checked
in with my own internal system, my discernment, and my higher wisdom, this is the message
I receive about Ascension: it is already here, and it is in the heart. This, my lovely co-creators
and consciousness reflections, is profound. Ascension is not outside of you, nor will
it ever happen to you. This is something you create. This is a state of heart (not mind,
not label, not identity), a state of being that you may learn to be aligned with at all
times.
It requires practice, awareness, and surrender. This is what is called �doing the work,�
or what I have recently adopted, �doing the play.� For individuals truly walking
& living this path, they are on duty 24/7. The answer, the place of alignment, is always
deep in the heart.
There are many stages of this process, and please do respect where you are & what feels
right for you. At the beginning of my own journey, I identified more with certain labels
or quite simply sought more support from others in the community. However, the more I developed
a relationship with my soul, wisdom, and knowing, I have quickly been spit out into a place
where I seek practically no external validation or support in my growth and connection. This,
my friends, is where we all hope to be. It becomes deeply personal and individualistic
� this is such a gift & something quite beautiful about creation itself.
With all that being said, note that I do not find anything inherently wrong with Ascension
Culture, but I must admit that it is only a stepping stone. It is not the end game,
nor is it the ultimate truth. This is something you must discover for yourself, and it is
quite simply waiting, to be discovered.

It looks just like a log I heard about in a scary ghost story.
I'll have to tell you the story tonight around the campfire while we make s'mores.

I'll get the fire started can you two get the marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate bars?
We sure can.

Oh wait, I almost forgot the chocolate.
Now that it's getting dark I think it's time to tell my ghost story.
I don't really like ghost stories.
This is a good one you've got to hear it.
Tell me, tell me.
OK.
A long time ago, back when lumberjacks cut down the trees in this forest, my grandpa
was on a work crew cutting down trees.
One day the crew was cutting down its last tree for the day right next to the lake.
A boy about 12 years old had just started helping the crew by running to get them tools
and bringing them water to drink.
He had nothing to do until the last tree was cut down, so he had taken off his shoes and
was dangling his feet in the lake.
Suddenly one of the lumberjacks yelled!
The tree had started to fall before they were expecting it to and it was falling right toward
the lake where the boy was sitting.
After the tree fell the lumberjacks all ran to roll the tree off the boy, but when they
did there was nothing there except the boy's socks and shoes right next to where he had
been sitting.
[Gasp] Oh no!
The lumberjacks looked and looked but never found the boy.
While they were looking one of the lumberjacks discovered that the tree was hollow because
bugs had eaten out the center.
That's why it fell before they were expecting it to.
All the lumberjacks were so upset about the missing boy that no one had the heart to move
the tree away from the lake or cut it up to sell the wood.
They went to town right away and told the police but even though many people looked
no one ever found any trace of him other then his shoes.
Did they ever find out what happened to him?
No.
Some say he just happened to quit his job before the tree fell and walked away to find
a job somewhere else but totally forgot his shoes.
Some people say the tree fell on him and he became a ghost forced to stay inside the hollow
log that the lumberjacks left by the lake.
Except at night, he comes out of his log looking for his lost shoes.
Some people who've been in the forest at night have even heard noises that sound like crying
and whimpering while the poor ghost boy wanders around looking for his shoes.
Is that true?
No, but it's a story my grandpa used to tell me all the time to scare me.
There was a boy who worked for the lumberjack crew and on day he got tired of the work so
he decided to quit, go home and go back to school.
It was such a beautiful day and the grass was so soft he forgot his shoes and walked
away barefoot.
There was also a hollow tree that fell near the lake, but nobody got hurt.
Grandpa said he heard years later that the boy had graduated from high school, went to
college and became a lawyer in Ohio.
What a great story!
Well, I guess it's not so bad since it was just a story and didn't really happen.
Man, those s'mores were so good.
I'm glad we decided to go camping.
This was so much fun.
How about we sing one last song before we put out the campfire?
