Waching daily May 14 2017

(Singing) I know my God has made the way for

me. I know my God has made the way for me.

ANNOUNCER: Acknowledging God for all He does in your life

is the mark of being truly successful, and promotion is a

result of that gratitude. Join Gloria Copeland and Pastor

George Pearsons next on the Believer's Voice of Victory.

GLORIA: Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Believer's

Voice of Victory broadcast. Pastor George Pearsons

is back with us again, and we are hearing some good

things. This one we're coming up on is promotion. Is that right?

GEORGE: Mm-hmm. That's right. GLORIA: Promotion God's way.

GEORGE: Yep. GLORIA: Now, if you're interested in promotion,

you don't want to miss it. If you're not interested in

promotion, go get your head examined, because promotion is

good. GEORGE: That's right. It is God's will for us to be

promoted. GLORIA: That's right. It is. GEORGE: Thank you for

having me on this week. GLORIA: Oh, George, we're glad to have

you. GEORGE: And I'm looking forward to our time next week

together. GLORIA: Amen. GEORGE: And those of you that have been

following us for all of these years, you know that we make all

of the outlines available to you. You can just go to kcm.org

and go to the picture of Gloria and me. Click onto it and it'll

take you to the outlines that we're preaching on this series

here. GLORIA: Yes. GEORGE: And it will also take you to all of

the outlines, all of the ones that we've done for all of these

years-- GLORIA: Praise God. GEORGE: --on prosperity. And we

are talking about promotion. We're talking about--and this is

what I had in my heart for the people for these two weeks that

we have, is that the Lord wants us to have a promotion

mentality, that it is His desire that we advance-- GLORIA: That's

right. GEORGE: --that we rise up, that we continue to develop

and go from--from glory to glory-- GLORIA: Amen. GEORGE:

--from faith to faith, from level to level. And He has

supernatural favor, opportunities, open doors that

are available to us, and He wants to see His body, He wants

to see His people get the best positions-- GLORIA: That's

right. GEORGE: --have the best raises. He wants some

billionaires out there, a lot of billionaires out there. GLORIA:

I'll volunteer. GEORGE: Yeah, me, too. And--but He's teaching

us here about promotion, what it takes, the fact that it is the

will of God. And, Gloria, what I thought we would do-- GLORIA:

Let me add--let me add this before you go to something else.

GEORGE: Yeah, please. Please. GLORIA: What is an--what is

another word for "promotion"? Blessing. GEORGE: Mm-hmm,

mm-hmm. GLORIA: It's the blessing at work. GEORGE: That's

right. GLORIA: And you're--when you yield to promotion, you're

letting the blessing come out-- GEORGE: That's right. That's

right. GLORIA: --do what it's called to do. GEORGE: When God

spoke the blessing over Adam, over man-- GLORIA: Yeah. GEORGE:

--that was promotion. GLORIA: That was, wasn't it? GEORGE: He

said, "I want you to be fruitful, and multiply,

replenish the earth, subdue it: have dominion over it." GLORIA:

Have dominion. GEORGE: Well, He was imparting that blessing to

him, and that--He was--as Brother Copeland has said

before, He wanted Adam to expand the garden of Eden all over the

world and the universe-- GLORIA: Yes, that's right. I believe

that. GEORGE: --to take it everywhere he went. That's--that

is producing fruit. He wants us to be fruit producers. He wants

us to be producing fruit. And He wants us to have the best jobs.

GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE: He wants us to be leading in these

companies and these corporations that need Godly wisdom-- GLORIA:

Yes. GEORGE: --in the same way that--that Joseph led Egypt, he

led a nation with Godly wisdom. Well, he's looking for people

like us to do the same. He wants us to be promoted. And so we're

developing that mentality, that inner understanding and

revelation that it is God's will for us to be promoted. GLORIA:

That's right. GEORGE: Well, what we did, Gloria--I have before

Gloria here--she and I both have this, it's a summary of what

we've been talking about since Monday. And I just want to go

through it quickly, Gloria. And I'll start with this day one.

GLORIA: Okay. GEORGE: On the first day, on Monday, we talked

about God's will is promotion and that the Lord--one of the

ways that the Lord prospers us is through our work. It's

through our vocation, our-- GLORIA: Our calling. GEORGE:

--our calling, exactly. And in Psalm 90:17 in the GOD'S WORD

Translation, it says, "Make us successful in everything we do."

GLORIA: Praise God. What a great Scripture. GEORGE: "Make us,

Lord, successful in everything that we do." And then the

foundation Scripture for what we've been teaching on is Psalms

75:6-7. This is The Living Bible, "Promotion and power come

from nowhere on earth, but only from God." GLORIA: Isn't that a

marvelous Scripture? GEORGE: Mm-hmm, it is. It is. GLORIA:

Ooh! GEORGE: "He promotes one and he deposes another." So last

Monday-- GLORIA: And one of the versions says, "He puts down

another." GEORGE: He puts down, yeah. And a good example of

that--we read it yesterday, talking about David and Saul.

God was done with Saul. GLORIA: Yeah. GEORGE: He had just pushed

his limit. GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE: And it was time for him

to go, so He removed him from that position, and He replaced

him. And He replaced him with a shepherd. He replaced him with

somebody who had a heart to fulfill the will of God. GLORIA:

Yeah, but somebody who knew Him. GEORGE: Who knew Him, yeah. Yes,

that's exactly right. GLORIA: He--David recognized God.

GEORGE: That's exactly right. And that's why we've been

praying over Mr. Trump, that he is choosing the right people in

those positions in our government. GLORIA: Amen. Yes,

that's right. GEORGE: And, you know, exciting things are

happening in our nation. And we keep praying for our nation,

keep believing for our nation. GLORIA: Yes. GEORGE: But I'll

tell you something, I believe that--that there are promotions.

I believe--mm, thus I say that, that there are people in the

senate and the house that need to be removed because they are

no--they are doing no good for our nation. And I believe we're

going to be seeing the time where those people are removed

and they're replaced. They're replaced by born-again,

Spirit-filled, Bible-believing-- GLORIA: Yes, people that know

God. GEORGE: --Word-of-God-standing people

who will do what God desires to be done in this nation. GLORIA:

Amen. GEORGE: So they're--we discovered last Monday that it

is God's will for you to be promoted. Now, on

Tuesday--Gloria, why don't you go through that with us, day

two. GLORIA: Okay. "Prosperity always accompanies promotion."

GEORGE: Mm-hmm. GLORIA: You're not going to prosper--unless you

get promoted, you're probably not going to be in prosperity.

GEORGE: Prosperous, yeah. That's exactly right. GLORIA: "God's

will for us is to advance and receive responsibility with

raises and bonuses." And you're probably not going to be

promoted unless you do a good job. GEORGE: That's exactly

right. That's exactly right. GLORIA: Matthew 25:21 in the New

King James Version says, "You were faithful over a few things,

and I will make you ruler over many things." GEORGE: Mm-hmm.

GLORIA: Now, as I look back upon our lives, I see that that was

true. You--He lets you grow and you come up to a level. GEORGE:

Yeah, yeah. GLORIA: And if you're faithful there, you grow

and you come up to another level. And if--you keep going.

But, if you're not faithful, you stagnate. GEORGE: You stagnate,

yeah. GLORIA: If you don't do what God says or-- GEORGE: Yeah.

GLORIA: --follow His lead or spend time in His Word where you

can hear from heaven, you just stay where you are or worse--

GEORGE: Yes. GLORIA: --you get worse off. GEORGE: Yeah. Well,

you had just mentioned that, and something came to my mind that

we read--we read some of these last Tuesday. And--but we didn't

finish and these were some of the people who were promoted and

started at very small positions in a corporation. GLORIA: Huh.

GEORGE: I've got--let me read this to you. GLORIA: Okay, go

ahead. GEORGE: I've got this here. This is interesting. This

is the Xerox Corporation, and I don't know anything really about

the people themselves, but I just looked up online just

various people who started in low positions who eventually

became the leaders of the company. Well, this woman named

Anne Mulcahy started out as a field sales representative at

Xerox Corporation in 1976. She was named CEO in August of 2001

and then chairman in January of 2002. So she was

faithful--evidently, she was faithful over a few things.

GLORIA: Yeah. GEORGE: Well, she eventually became the chairman

of Xerox. Well, listen to this: Ursula Burns began at Xerox in

the summer of 1980 as a mechanical engineering intern.

GLORIA: Hmm. GEORGE: She became the CEO in June of 2009 and the

chairman in May of 2010. GLORIA: Wow. GEORGE: Gloria, she came in

as an intern. GLORIA: Well, what about George? What about Pastor

George? GEORGE: What about Pastor George? Pastor George--

GLORIA: Where did you start, Pastor George? GEORGE: Pastor

George came to-- GLORIA: This place. GEORGE: --Kenneth

Copeland Ministries in May of 1976. GLORIA: And your first

job? GEORGE: My first job actually was to insert a

cassette and a flyer into an envelope. It actually was the

flyer that Brother Copeland--you and Kenneth were sending out,

where the Lord spoke to him and said, "The Lord has spoken to me

and He's told me to get this uncompromised Word of faith on

every available voice--" GLORIA: Yes. GEORGE: "--from the top of

the world to the bottom and all the way around." GLORIA: Yes. I

remember that. GEORGE: And that was my first job. GLORIA: And

you were faithful at it. GEORGE: And I was faithful with it. Now,

Kenneth brought me in to start the in-house art department. But

the day that I sat down with him, before I started my job, he

said, "George, now, you're also going to be traveling on the

road. Are you willing to work the book tables?" "Yes, sir. I

am willing to work the book tables." GLORIA: You were

willing. GEORGE: "Are you willing to tear down after we're

done?" "Yes, sir, I'm willing to tear down." He said that, "If a

truck backs up to the building out here and they need help

unloading it, will you help them unloading it?" And I said, "Yes,

sir." And so I did that. GLORIA: Isn't that interesting? GEORGE:

And I did that and started-- GLORIA: He who is faithful over

little will be ruler over much. GEORGE: Faithful over little.

And then from there, I was the art director. And then the

editorial director left and so you all made me the editorial

director. So I took-- GLORIA: Here's what we said-- GEORGE: It

became-- GLORIA: --over and over and over, "Let George do it."

GEORGE: "Let George do it." GLORIA: Yeah, "Let George do

it." And he did it. GEORGE: So I became the publications

director. And then this was-- GLORIA: You're moving on up.

GEORGE: I walked by a little room out there at Lake Arlington

when we were out there, and I was walking by this office. And

Doug, your brother, stepped out, pulled me in, pointed at a

little keyboard, and said, "Can you play that?" I said, "Yeah."

He said, "You're going on the road to play that." So it was a

synthesizer. It was the first synthesizer. So I did that. And

then I became the executive director in 1988-- GLORIA: Now

you're moving on up. GEORGE: --and then became the pastor in

1993. And then, in 2010, Gloria Copeland asked me to do two

weeks of broadcasts because she couldn't do them herself. And I

did two weeks of broadcast on prosperity and made the notes

available. And you called me the week after it aired and said,

"George, I have a brilliant idea. Why don't you come and do

broadcasts with me, and you can bring your notes." And so, over

260 broadcasts later-- GLORIA: It worked, too, didn't it?

GEORGE: (Laughs) It did work. It did work. GLORIA: Helped people.

That's great. GEORGE: But point being, I started out stuffing

envelopes. That was my-- GLORIA: You were faithful over little.

GEORGE: I was faithful over little. GLORIA: God made you

ruler over much. GEORGE: Over much. GLORIA: So you might

think, "Well, I don't have a very important job." It's

important. If it's your job, it's important, and you treat it

that way, and you begin to do things that you don't even have

to do, but just do what God tells you to do in that job and

be faithful. You'll get promoted. GEORGE: If I could put

anything into young people about that, that would be, "Do not

despise small beginnings." GLORIA: Yeah, small beginnings.

That's what the Word says. GEORGE: Do your best. Be

faithful at it. GLORIA: Yeah. GEORGE: You know, when I was at

ORU, I went and I applied as an artist in their graphic

department. And, Gloria, this is interesting. They had a stack of

applications to do that. And out of all those applications, he

chose me. And I became very close with the art director.

Now, this is interesting because the Lord is always preparing

you. GLORIA: Yes, that's right. GEORGE: He's always getting you

ready for something that's coming up. What you're doing

right now is preparation for the next promotion for the next

level. GLORIA: Be faithful where you are. GEORGE: When I was

at--be faithful where you are. When I was at ORU, I had no idea

that this was what was happening. But the Lord

basically showed me the end from the beginning. Gloria, I was at

Oral Roberts University at the height of Oral Roberts

television ministry. Terri was there. I met her. She was taking

TV. And even more than the classes that I was in, the

German that I was taking or the history class that I was in, I

was observing a ministry that the Lord was going to take me

and bring me to you. He showed me the end from the beginning.

GLORIA: Mm-hmm. GEORGE: I mean, a lot of what we're doing now is

what Oral was doing back then, without the university part.

GLORIA: Yeah. GEORGE: But all I'm saying is that whatever

stage of life that you're at-- GLORIA: That's right. GEORGE:

--you are always in a state of preparation. The Lord is always

preparing you and qualifying you. GLORIA: That's right.

GEORGE: And this is a wild thing, too. Going to ORU and

being a student there and just serving however I could, I

was--I was around some phenomenal things, Gloria. I

was--I got to watch Oral Roberts up close doing his television

broadcasts and things like that. And the-- GLORIA: What a

blessing. GEORGE: --funny thing about it was I eventually became

chairman of the board at Oral Roberts University. Isn't that

amazing? GLORIA: It is. GEORGE: It's amazing.

GLORIA: See? GEORGE: It's amazing. GLORIA: Promotion.

GEORGE: Promotion. GLORIA: You know, the Bible

says, "Promotion comes from above." GEORGE: It does. GLORIA:

Do you believe that? GEORGE: Yes. It does. GLORIA: I believe

it. GEORGE: It does. GLORIA: I certainly do. GEORGE: Well, on

Wednesday, we talked about--that's day three, God's

system of promotion. "The world's system of promotion is

self-advantagement with no regard for God or others. God's

system of promotion is trusting Him--" GLORIA: Yes. GEORGE:

"--to set us where we are most valuable to the kingdom."

GLORIA: That's right. That's right. It's in His will. GEORGE:

He's going to put you--in Genesis 12:2, it says, "I--" to

Abram, "I will make you a great nation, I will bless you, and

make your name great; and you shall be a blessing." GLORIA:

Praise God. GEORGE: So in all of the promotions that we are--and,

you know something? I'll tell you, Gloria. My--I think about

this often because this is my--one of my favorite

scriptures, and this is what I tell people that work here at

Kenneth Copeland Ministries: "I am among you as one who serves."

GLORIA: Amen. GEORGE: After 41 years, that is still my

scripture, "I am among you as one who serves." Number one, it

keeps--it keeps pride from setting in. Number two, it keeps

your heart right with God and others. And, number three, it

always keeps you in line for promotion. GLORIA: Praise God.

That's right. GEORGE: If you do what Jesus did, and that was to

be a servant, then you're going to continue to be promoted.

GLORIA: That's exactly right. That's good, George. That's good

insight for people. GEORGE: Tell us about day four. GLORIA: Day

four, "God sent Samuel to Jesse to locate a replacement for King

Saul." GEORGE: Mm-hmm. GLORIA: I Samuel 16:7, "Man looks on the

outward, God looks on the heart." GEORGE: Yeah. That's it,

that's it. GLORIA: And then, I don't see this right here, but

it says--I think we might have already mentioned it, "Promotion

comes from above." That's where God looks. GEORGE: Yeah, Psalm

75. Yeah. GLORIA: He looks and sees what's in there. GEORGE:

That's--yeah, he's looking-- GLORIA: He sees if you're ready

for a promotion-- GEORGE: That's right. GLORIA: --or if

promotion--you know, sometimes promotion damages people--

GEORGE: Promotion's not--it does. GLORIA: --if they're not

ready for it. GEORGE: That promotion's not ready for you.

That's interesting. GLORIA: I believe you're ready, George.

(Both Laugh) GEORGE: Oh, good, good. I'll take it. I'll take

it. GLORIA: "Man looks on the outward. God looks on the

heart." "I have found David--" in Acts 13:22, "I have found

David, a man after my own heart. Promotion is a result and not a

goal. Promotion is not something we seek, it's a harvest we

reap." GEORGE: There you go. There you go. GLORIA: Oh, that's

good, Lord. I like it. GEORGE: "Promotion is not something we

seek, it's a harvest we reap." What are we sowing? GLORIA: What

is it from? Being faithful, doing what you're told, being

faithful-- GEORGE: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. GLORIA: --not being a

griper or a complainer. GEORGE: Yeah, that's exactly right. Oh,

Gloria, I have to tell--how much time do I have left? Oh, what?

Oh, a minute and a half. I'll just ignore him for a moment. I

was on the road early on when I came here. And I won't tell you

who or what, but I was called to a hotel room when I was at--the

first year I was on the road with Kenneth. I was called to

one of the hotel rooms with one of our workers who was over some

things. And he said, "We're going on strike." GLORIA: Oh,

no, George. I never heard that story. GEORGE: Going on strike?

Are you kidding me? He said--he didn't like another leader that

was on the road. And so he was telling me and another guy--he

said, "We're going on strike tonight," and tonight was the

start of the meeting. And I looked at the other guy that I

was with and we just started laughing and we walked out the

door. On strike? Are you kidding me? GLORIA: I never heard that

story. GEORGE: Are you kidding? GLORIA: You'd be going on more

than strike. GEORGE: Yeah. GLORIA: You'd be gone. GEORGE:

You'd be gone. (Laughs) GLORIA: But he hadn't been around very

long, was he? GEORGE: No, he wasn't around. (Both Laugh) No.

"Promotion is not something we seek, it's a harvest that we

reap." GLORIA: Amen. GEORGE: And then, Gloria, we're going to

leave it with this because this is what we're going to do next

week. GLORIA: Okay. GEORGE: We're going to talk about the

five prerequisites to promotion. GLORIA: Oh, that'll be good.

GEORGE: Next week. GLORIA: Oh, people, don't miss that. GEORGE:

And we're going to take one each day. To be promoted, you've got

to have a servant's heart, you have to walk in humility, you

must be diligent-- GLORIA: Yes. GEORGE: --you must be faithful--

GLORIA: Yes. GEORGE: --and you must be a person of integrity.

GLORIA: Praise God. I look forward to that.

GEORGE: So we're going to cover that all next week. And

you're going to qualify for promotion. GLORIA: Yes,

amen. Don't miss it. George and I'll be right back.

3 Reasons Why Majin Buu Is Getting Replaced By Frieza- Dragon Ball Super - Duration: 4:41.

Hey, guys you all probably know by now.

In the tournament of power, Majin Buu is going to get replaced by Frieza.

Thus, we are getting a change in the originally advertised team of Universe 7.

Now, the question is why is that happening?

In the plot reason, is pretty simple, and has been revealed.

It's because Majin Buu going against his nature trained hardcore for the tournament,

he even shockingly became skinny, but for that reason, he also got tired quickly and

fell asleep.

He is not going to wake up before another 2 months, obviously ruling him out of the

tournament.

But, the real question is why did Dragon Ball Super, TOEI or the Writers decided to Cut

Buu out?

In this video, I will give you 3 reasons as to why that decision might have been made.

1.

Spotlight distribution: Dragon Ball is a series that has been running since the 80's, and

has a wide group of fan following.

Due to its long run, there are fans of different age group, and fans that started watching

the series at different points.

Thus, a difference of demand is created in terms of their likings.

Like, Old School fans would much rather see fighters like Master Roshi, Tien, and Krillin

in action as these characters has been there since the very beginning.

While fans that started it with Z might rather prefer Goten and Trunks; similarly there's

a certain amount of demand for Buu and Frieza.

Now, Buu is a constant character in the series.

Also, as revealed by Toyotaro the one behind the manga, DBS is on the verge of reaching

the ending of DBZ, and we know in the last episode of DBZ Goku meets the reincarnation

of evil Buu, UUB.

There's a good possibility that we will very soon get a ' UUB Saga', and in that

case.

It's very likely, that Buu will get a lot of screen time.

So, that might have lead to the decision of resting him in this arc.

As his fans will be getting him soon anyways.

2.

Popularity:

Frieza is the most popular antagonist in the history of Dragon Ball.

The moment they declare, that Frieza is coming it's going to hype up a huge group of audience.

Specifically, some fans who might have got detached from DBS after watching it for a

while.

Now, they are going to be like huh Frieza is coming, he is my favorite; I have to check

this series out again.

Buu is also popular but not anywhere as popular as Frieza.

So, from that point of view, it was really a good decision and will help to increase

the ratings, in turn, allowing the series to run longer.

3.

The Shock Factor: The originally advertised Universe 7 team was revealed a long time ago,

I guess at the same time the arc was declared.

So, these recruiting episodes were becoming very predictable, which could make things

look a bit dull.

Now, after leading everyone to believe in a 10 fighter team through all kinds of promotional

materials, and later changing it is a genuine surprise.

These types of shocks keeps the fans emotionally invested one way or the other.

Even if they don't realize it, Game of Thrones does this all the time, and even though many

fans criticize it or say things like they will never watch it again, but as it turns

out they all keep watching it anyways.

So, that's how I see why they decided to change Buu, but I think Majin Buu is up for

a treat as we might get a UUB very soon.

So, don't be disappointed.

Good news is, all these techniques used by DBS are working really well.

As DBS is apparently making crazy money.

The profit is almost twice as much as One Piece that even only in Japan.

As you all know, DBS has more international popularity than any other anime except there's

just Pokemon as the rival.

So, this means Dragon Ball Super is not going to end anytime soon, and most likely will

be going past the ending of DBS.

If things keep going on this way!

That's about all for now.

N. Korea launches ballistic missile, four days after South Korean President's inauguration - Duration: 2:22.

Pyongyang launched a ballistic missile early Sunday morning.

What's significant about this act, is that it comes just a few days after the newly elected

South Korean President... with a friendlier approach to inter-Korean relations... is sworn

into office.

Hwang Hojun starts us off with a closer look into the regretful move from up North.

North Korea has carried out its first military provocation since the launch of the new administration

in South Korea just four days ago.

South Korea's military confirmed that the North launched a ballistic missile Sunday

morning, around 5:30 a.m. Seoul time, from an area near the city of Kusong, about 120

kilometers northwest of the regime's capital.

According to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the missile flew some 700 kilometers, and judging

by the flight distance, military experts are looking at the launch as a successful one.

The Japanese government said the missile reached an altitude of more than 1,000 kilometers

and landed in the East Sea after flying for about half an hour, but did not fall in Japan's

Exclusive Economic Zone.

The exact type of missile it was is not yet clear, but the U.S. Pacific Command confirmed

that the flight was not consistent with that of an intercontinental ballistic missile.

This is the seventh missile provocation from Pyongyang this year alone, and comes just

two weeks after a missile test that South Korean and US officials said failed.

Shortly after Sunday's launch, South Korea's National Security Council held an emergency

meeting at 7 a.m., its first under the Moon Jae-in administration.

It was led by the President himself for about 20 minutes starting at 8, and they strongly

condemned Pyongyang's action.

"The President said the missile launch was a clear violation of the UN Security Council's

resolutions and a grave threat to the peace and safety of the international community,

let alone the Korean peninsula."

President Moon ordered the South Korean military to be on full readiness -- based on the steadfast

alliance with the U.S. -- to deal with any military actions from the North,... and to

speed up the establishment of South Korea's own missile defense system, called the Korea

Air and Missile Defense or KAMD.

Regarding the possibility of dialogue with Pyongyang, which President Moon has said he

is open to, he reiterated that a change in North Korea's attitude must come first.
