Waching daily Feb 5 2018

hey you guys welcome back to my channel this is my lazy weekly natural hair

routine I am starting on wash day I think wash day really sets the tone for

the week I'm going to be pre pulling before I shampoo I'm putting my DIY hair

growth oil in hot water and that'll help activate those herbs and I'm also taking

my favorite aloe vera gel fresh aloe vera gel and I'm going to pre-poo with

that as well so I'm splitting my hair just into two sections

I'm keeping it easy and simple I also have fine natural hair so it's really

easy for oil or just anything that I put on my scalp to spread across the

entirety the full surface area easily so I'm taking the fresh aloe vera gel and

I'm rubbing that straight on my scalp I'm not blending it or anything I'm

going straight from the leaf to the scalp all of the leaf pieces that I have

are rinsed and I'm using the harder darker green part as my handle once I

rub the aloe into my scalp I'm going to do a scalp massage with my fingers once

I rub that in I'm taking the warm hair growth oil I'm shaking that up because

the herbs sit at the bottom I'm just going to apply that to my scalp this has

helped tremendously with my dry scalp just because it's colder out my scalp

wants to act brand-new sometime so this aloe vera and then the DIY hair growth

oil are amazing at promoting hair growth aloe really helps unclog any blocked

pores and this hair growth oil has so many amazing nutrients that help with

hair growth as well see you

baby this is optional but I'm taking the allo pieces and rubbing them around the

perimeter of my head and also on the ends of my hair and then I'm going to

add the hair growth oil to the ends of my hair as well now I did recently try a

full aloe vera hair mask so check the cards to watch that video if you guys

haven't already but once I do this I am good to go

my hair is wet but it is soft as hell it is so soft all right so I'm gonna go

wash my hair now I already have a wash day routine it is linked up here in the

card section definitely check it out and in the card section you guys you can

find three or four videos that I'll be talking about or if I mention it in this

video I'm mixing three different deep conditioners and I will link them down

in the description box so make sure to check there I'm mixing those all

together okay so I am about to heat up my deep conditioner mix I hope I don't

blow up I got renters in the suretrend flow and I'm putting it in the microwave

I shouldn't do this should I it's fine it's fine it's fine

thirty seconds okay but can we talk about the hair you guys no conditioner I

just cleansed it with two different shampoos I'll show you guys in a second

who is this bitch who am i you didn't blow it and just so you guys know my

hair has grown a lot but I think when I show it there's just a lot of shrinkage

now which I never thought I would get oh I can't wait to get it cut but I can't

get it trimmed or cut until I film this updating video with the hair rub oil I

heat up my deep conditioners because they penetrate better I have low

porosity hair and skin I just got out of the shower I am gonna show you guys what

I do very very soft and the aloe you guys I don't like I said I don't know if

the aloe fool a low-mass video has already gone up but check click the card

after this if it has but the aloe makes it and even the oil makes it so easy to

detangle there were no knots I'm using the Muller panics moisturizing avocado

hair milk yes mmm we'll do about that much and

I'm just going to moisturize

and a loose braid just to let it stay and then at the very end of it I'm

putting a little clamp okay so it is the next day and what I ended up doing to my

hair yesterday I actually had it in those two braids and then when I went

out I took the braids out and I wore my hair out I put it in a bun by the end of

the night because it shrunk up that's another thing my hair has so much

freaking you know it's awesome but also annoying so now I feel the shrinkage

struggle right now my hair is nice and ready just work it in and what that does

is it just reactivates the moisturizer then you'll start to feel that

moisturizer back on your hair but when it's dry it just feels like it's dry so

it's really easy with low porosity hair to add too many products and then you

have that builds up and then no moisture is getting in and then you're frustrated

because it's just dry and so too much product can be detrimental so I just

keep it simple keep it real simple

and I hear the rise and it's in the state where the natural oils from my

scalp can actually run down the actual hair this is like my oh gee night

routine I already have a night routine of you guys so you can check it out up

in the cards or in the description box but this is what I've been doing for

years water a moisturizer unless I already have some in my hair and then a

braid a little spread like this because I didn't even know how to French braid

for the longest time or corner so I just did this in my hair for the lower rich

okay some grapeseed oil just on the ends alright so now that both of the braids

are done and that's it

yeah that's it that's my night routine easy simple now I'm going to wash my

face go to sleep and I will see you guys tomorrow okay

you guys it's the next morning so I'm gonna take my hair down of course I hope

this turns out well otherwise it'll go up in a bun or something I really don't

have the time cut is still just bizarre like she really mess up my cut but you

can see how the back is longer and it kind of hangs down and then the sides go

up a little bit more they're shorter kind of you know what I think I should

call this my lazy natural hair routine well that's just me like that's just

what I do in general I keep it simple you guys saw it took out the braids out

this morning and it was not popping in so I put it into a bun so the natural

braid out texture is stretched a little bit I'm using my hair growth oil because

I use this every other day currently or every other night and then I'm massaging

that in and working that in you can finger detangle you can use a wide tooth

comb whatever you choose to do I am finding that because I've been doing the

protein treatments I've just been doing so many strengthening things also the

aloe vera all of these things have really strengthened my hair so it's not

breaking off as easily and shedding has completely almost been eliminated

because of this hair growth oil I love this all right so I just wanted to show

you guys the amount of hair that came out or not really the amount of hair

like where is it where are my bristles but yeah if you can see really quick I'm

gonna add some grapeseed oil to my hair I'm gonna add more to the ends I'm just

gonna add it to my actual hair - my hair is still pretty moisturized at this

point so I'm just taking grapeseed oil which is amazing at locking in moisture

and I'm putting that on my hair not too much but just enough to where I can feel

it on my hair and then I'm going to rub some extra grapeseed oil into my ends

twist those up and then bobby pin them hey you guys I just wanted to show you

what my hair looked like my SD card was full last night so I didn't get to

finish showing you guys but you saw that I twisted up the ends of my hair after I

put the grapeseed oil on them but I just bobby pin the ends of my hair so at this

point we have surpassed a week but I kept picking up the camera I guess I

just wanted to continue to show you guys some of the things that I do to my hair

I also wanted to mention that I do not always keep my hair stretched this is

just what I did for this week it was a really busy week with business meetings

and calls and a whole bunch of stuff so keeping it stretched is just the easiest

way but I am making sure to still moisturize and care for my natural

texture and you guys will see that in a bit but I used warm water on my hair I

added some of the Miele organics avocado moisturizer I love this stuff and all of

the products will be linked in the description box and then I am braiding

my hair in four sections this is my go-to braid out this never fails me for

the most part and it just always turns out really well and this is the one that

you guys are always asking about so yeah I just finished up this braid and I

tried to do a little bantu knot at the bottom I probably go in and fix the ends

of these so that's what I'm gonna do to the other half of my head it's really

fast and simple I wanted to come on here and show you guys what my hair ended up

looking like this is how it turned out I thought it was really cute of course it

was that middle part and then the way that I do is I just flipped my hair to

one side and I do this whole little thing I always have some hair out in

front like that and then I kind of put this behind my ear and I actually put a

bobby pin on there it's really really simple

it's like I said I really don't do the most and this is probably the the most

that I do this style the four sections and yeah that's like the most but you

guys it's a few days later and I just wanted to show you what I did to my hair

there's some music stuff gone on in the background so don't mind that so my hair

was feeling dried my scalp was feeling itchy so I decided to go wash my hair I

of coolest used the tea tree team goal by Trader Joe's but it wasn't feeling as

there wasn't that much slit and it wasn't feeling as moisturizing as it

usually does and that's because as you guys have been seeing this week I've

been wetting my hair with water and it moisturizes they're adding some oil so

this wasn't really penetrating the cuticle so I decided to just grab this

form revive conditioner and let me just tell you this was slippery and it felt

so moisturizing so I co washed with the Trader Joe's rinse this out out of this

rinse this out and then added some more of this left it in my hair got my hair

wet again and then I put it up in this cotton t-shirt as I was in the shower

now I've had this on for over an hour so we'll see what my hair looks like so I

just bobby pinned around the perimeter to make it kind of look like it's a

half-up half-down type of size don't judge my little hairs now I'm about to

go edit all right I'm surprised you love me of the the

Wow hey you guys so I thought I was gonna end the video in the last clip but

I decided I didn't want to just go out looking like that okay I want you all to

see me in a better light so as you can see I have an aloe mask on last night i

detangled my hair and then i wet it with some warm water my typical my typical

shebang and then I twisted my hair took over an hour because I was going slow

but I did it I massage my scalp with my DIY hair growth oil I'm gonna update you

guys really soon I told you guys I will be doing it for two to three months and

then updating you guys I stay looking like glow bow out but it's cool because

I can really transform alright you guys so this is how I'm gonna end the video I

decided not to take my twist down tomorrow I'm going to a music show and I

think these twists are gonna do what they need to do so I'm leaving them in

and what I did is I just put my little head scarf I also thrifted this and it's

just long and I'm keeping it in my hoodie because I don't want no birds no

pigeons to snatch my scarf it wouldn't happen cuz I wanna really

square up but I just I don't know I wouldn't want anything to happen but I

Bobby pinned it here I got a bobby pin to the back and then I

have a like a banana clip to keep it together in the back so hopefully it

stays together because y'all if this comes off it's good I hope you guys

enjoyed my weekly hair routine it might have been less than what you expected

but for some reason people think that I do a lot to my hair and I think that's

because I try different things on my channel but you guys I really don't do a

lot and I said low manipulation less product

less is more all around the board all right you guys I will see you in my next

video give it a thumbs up if you enjoyed and the products that I talked about

will be linked in the description box okay I'll see y'all later so I have the

orange scarf on my head my little twist out I have my little American Apparel

cropped hoodie and then I have these mom jeans from fashion Nova and I have my

Presto's I like that the mom jeans cut off shorter so I rolled them up and then

I wear my black socks so it kind of looks like I got the balenciaga

trainers on because I ain't got the coins that's the fit I'm about to put my

black jacket let me grab that actually hold it so

then I'm putting the jacket over

that'll work it it's gonna have to do okay that's what it is I'll see you on

my next one

A Great Tool For Developing Character by Gary Goldstein - Duration: 8:21.

Gary Goldstein: everybody's process is different and I know when I learned a lot about process

and would listen to other people you know you take it really seriously what

people who have succeeded you know do have done as I call I've got to do it

that way and I do my stuff very specific to me you know and and and it'll work

for anybody if you just do it but at the same time you know it's like edges I

hope it's like it feels like it's opening up like this is just what I do

but don't you know don't you don't have to do this you know this is just oh it's

not coming across as like you know no no not not at all you know stopping people

do courtesan yeah no fee but I think it's good too because you know people

could dig a little bit from here and a little bit from there but ya know it's

not coming off as this is the ultimate way we talk about where your characters

come from and what's your process for developing okay well you know they say

that you want to put a character when you move it you know for the beginning

of a movie or something you want to put your character where they would least

like to be you know it's at a moment of crossroads where their life is gonna

change and you're gonna take that journey with them and you have to you

put them out of there you get them out of their comfort zone basically and the

reason they're there in a comfort zone is because they're kind of doing

something wrong their personality there's a there's something in that

personality that's that's you know right as bootcamp calls it a misbehavior it's

a great word it's a adjective to describe what they're doing wrong how

they're negatively affecting other people but we still care about them

anyway and it shows how they can change so you find somebody you create a

character who is doing something wrong or ineffectively and somebody's gonna

have to come into their life who's gonna kind of turn them around and compliment

them and get the best out of that personality and then have them make that

personality work for them so you just try to find a character had a crossroads

who's gonna do something interesting especially you're writing things that

are not plot driven necessarily like you know the Bourne Identity or something

you know you're writing you're writing a character if you run character driven

things whether it's a comedy or drama or you know whatever but but there's you

know it's it's it's driven by character which always make for the best stories

and and so then you figure out who needs to come into the

character's life to help help them on this journey help them accomplish this

mission you know movies are basically about a relationship about two people on

a journey you know with with effort with people around them and supporting

characters and an opponent and all that but it's basically I boil it down to the

main character and who comes into their life to go on that journey with them and

what is that relationship like so in creating the main character you know

whether it's a man or a woman you know they always say that that we we are our

main characters whoever we're writing we could be writing a serial killer but you

know they're they are us you know that we weren't fusing them with with our

point of view not our value is not our history but what maybe what our point of

view is or how we see what their point of view should be that makes sense so

part of it is knowing what the journey take setting the character creating an

interesting character in an interesting environment but knowing that they need

to be on a journey to solve the issue of their life and the movie and I start I

start there is it different for stage plays versus a little bit different you

know it's um it can be very similar but still even a stage play you know you you

you you want to want that stage playtest to begin at a moment of a very important

moment for that character's life the moment that changes it all or you know

that the time that's gonna shift them as people and and and their lives you know

so they walk over they they they emerge from that that story you know kind of a

different person you know April May and June is these three sisters come

together and they're all pretty much set in their ways and they're okay the way

they are but by the end of this afternoon they really have a better

understanding of who they are why they've done done what they've done in

their lives and why they've reacted to both of their dead parents like parents

in such different ways and it's all because of this kind of like combustion

that happens during with three people these three women over the course of a

couple of hours in the afternoon so you want them to come through the come

through their journey you know as a changed person in some way some

characters don't need changing so that may not be as an interesting a character

but we all need to do something better to do something more effectively even

its if it's to learn how to have a relationship with somebody what's a

romantic comedy except to you know basically unexpected or mismatched

people who sparks fly and then they realize that they can make each other

they can complement each other make each other better people and and be with

somebody that they never expected until maybe they can't and then of course at

the end they do you know but it's finding people at an interesting point

in their life you know who have something to learn so let's take a right

er that's maybe has to dull or flat of a character versus one that's it's too

much stuff they're putting too much right how do you know well you know it

you know you want to keep your character on on a track you know and and you you

want to have that having a goal in mind you know whether the goal is to have

that romantic relationship to rob that bank

to to you know to come to terms with their addiction you know whatever it is

you you you want them to have an end goal and and keep them on a track and as

soon as you start getting away from all of that sort of like the the kind of

interesting human moments that may happen along the way of a journey then

you then you realize you're kind of diffusing your story and you know that

we're losing the focus of the character so I think usually pretty enough pretty

much know when you're when you're going off the track when your character is

just not acting the way they you'd like them to well I know you've seen so many

films and uh you're also a film reviewer can you talk about some of your favorite

films where that character starts out in a very uncomfortable place yeah yeah

well you know comedies are always great you know one of my favorite my favorite

movies favorite movie companies are sixteen Candles the John Hughes movie

with Molly Ringwald and you know the great thing about that movie it's just

you know it's such a it's relatable you got the you know the annoying

grandparents you got the clueless parents you got the the annoying sister

you got all the dweeby kids in school it's like everybody can X can relate to

all of that and you know Samantha Molly Ringwald's character she's just you know

she's in the worst moment of her life you know she's w Burt knows it's her

birthday she's sixteen everybody forgets the dorky guy likes her the hot guy

doesn't pay attention to her you know it's just this little microcosm and

she's like so uncomfortable and so self-conscious and by the end of that

she just gets little bit of confidence you know and

like the cute guy likes her and that's I love that movie you know it's just funny

but it's so sweet and so smart yeah that's one of my favorites I mean and

even Tutsi you know is you know he's he's he's such a self possessed guy but

he's in such a bad place because he has no money and he can't get a job and he

doesn't want to play a tomato the way they want him to on commercials and all

of that and he just he just really goes to the wall to try to do something to be

successful and it completely up ends his life you know so he's definitely he's

out of his comfort zone but he makes the best of it the mood that movie is all

about being out of your comfort zone but yet making it work for you which I like

but you know on a dramatic front you know when you deal with with thrillers

or something you know those characters have put in you know you know how it

silence of the lambs you know a great film great book you know she's somebody

who's thrust and she's somebody who's almost not ready to be thrust into this

horrifying world she is and and she's got like such a a she's got somebody in

you know an Anthony Hopkins character that you know who's such a tests her so

much and you know it was so smart you know it's such a spider and the fly kind

of thing and she's so out of her league that you know that that's an interesting

character who we begin with in a very uncomfortable place who is made even

more uncomfortable if he uses that discomfort uses that her past you know

the difficulty of her past to really emerge through and really succeed that's

kind of fascinating

you

FAVORITE NATURAL HAIR PRODUCTS FOR WASH DAY| ItsLadiiJay - Duration: 2:19.

Hey Loves, ItsLadiiJay and today I'm going to show you some of my favorite

natural hair products these are the products that I use are for my deep

conditioning treatment that I do to my hair every week and I try to do them on

a Sunday so my hair will be ready for the week some of the products that I use

are this is the righteous moisturizing shampoo and passion also have the Renew

mosturizing conditionerin passionfruit the restoration leave-in conditioner the

Mary Jane's praise hair oil and the royal butter in fruitful so I do have a

discount code and I will leave it in the description box below so in this clip

you can see that I am shampooing my hair I use shampoo for my roots only and

then now I'm just rinsing that out I love this shampoo because it's really

moisturizing it doesn't strip my hair and right here I am putting the

conditioner on my ends focusing that on my ends because I don't want my ends to break

and I just separate my hair and make sure it gets all throughout my ends

and then I finish that process up with the oil and then I don't rinse it out I

just leave it in my head for an hour so to add to my deep conditioning process I

want to make sure that it penetrates my hair cuticles so I just wrap a plastic

bag over my hair so it can really get into my hair

and this is my finishing product if you want a hair tutorial on this let me know

thanks for watching this video and I'll talk to you Loves later
