oh my guys so the day would be something a little bit different I'm gonna do a

review video it's gonna be a little bit different I I know I typically don't do

these types of videos but today got you I'm going to do a review video so hey

it's Victor expdp oh so I guess one second oh so I guess I'm gonna put a cap

on today you know I don't wanna freak people out with my unicorn horn what all

right just kidding for real though I am doing a review video today and it's

going to be on oil are you Victoria no hemp oil is not a drug I I put this on

my one of my vlogs and people are asking about it so I wanted to make a full

gonna tell you my experience with it I've been taking you for a couple of

weeks now the reason that I'm taking it is because I have a pain in my ankle

which I have talked about this before Irie injured it like months ago whenever

I was wearing way too high heels and I was totally drunk and I shouldn't have

done that but I did and it hurt and it's been hurting for a while after that just

a couple weeks ago my ankle was hurting the most of it ever has and I'm not sure

if it was this but my ankle actually feels so much better I'm gonna keep

taking this hoping that this is what it was that that made it feel better I know

a lot of people take hemp oil for certain pains or for depression and

anxiety which is another thing I've had a lot of depression anxiety of the past

couple months so that is has actually felt better too I don't know if it's

like a placebo effect or if it's actually this pen book Glory is hemp oil

there's no THC in it so you're not gonna get high off of it is not marijuana it

comes from a similar plant family and people been using it for like a long

time it's not like something new or anything like that but it's legal it

also passes drug tests and stuff so this is what it looks like it's like a bottle

like this and I'll show you how I take it which I showed you in the other video

tip I'm gonna show you guys again I know I've got some pothead in case you guys

wanted to know new here no I don't smoke weed I've only gotten high a handful of

time saying I like to be sober but this stuff does not have any adverse effects

to me you're supposed to take 15 drops I kind of just eyeball it now ain't nobody

had to count out 50 drops in my rate I take a lot of

supplements this is just one of them so don't have time to be counting all the

drops I also am vegan and this does provide like omega-3s and stuff like

that which is very important I'm just gonna like throw this in my mouth

taste-wise I would say don't get it in your if you're getting it just for taste

because it's not hey Steve unless you like eating hey it tastes like a plant

it does it tastes like a plant and it's not that bad it tastes very vegan do you

say hey yeah he go I don't fit all but I know you can put it in a vapes you and

take it that way but have employee is a website that sells high quality hemp oil

have oils been known to help a lot of different things for me it was the pain

of my ankle I think for some people it's like arthritis or like things related to

cancer or depression anxiety there's like a whole plethora of things that's

supposed to help there's about 60 servings in one of these so this is good

for two months I'm just going to keep taking it until the bottle is gone I'll

keep reporting on it for you guys because since I've only taken it for a

couple weeks it's also good for like skin and stuff like that so like the

longer I take it I'm gonna see what other things that can help because I do

think that it helped more than my ankle and with kind of anxiety and stuff like

that so when I'm feeling anxious and or depressed you know so go and check out

people because since I am a vegan and the way that I like to do things is a

Is There Any Cheese in Cheez Whiz? (And the Story of Kraft) - Duration: 8:06.

As America gets ready for their upcoming Super Bowl parties (or Royal Rumble party, if that's

your thing), Cheez Whiz – the yellowish-orange, gooey, bland tasting "cheese" product

– will surely make an appearance at some of them.

But what is Cheez Whiz?

Why did get it invented?

And is there really cheese in Cheez Whiz?

James L. Kraft was born in 1874 in Stevensville, Ontario on a dairy farm.

When he was 28 years old, he immigrated to the United States, where he first chose Buffalo,

New York to settle in.

(Where a little over a half century later another common Super Bowl snack, the Buffalo

Wing, was born.)

Why he chose Buffalo (well over two hundred miles from his home in Ontario) over Detroit

(under fifty miles away from Stevenson) isn't known.

In fact, there seems to be no real record at all of why Kraft went to Buffalo.

But most important to this story, while there, he eventually invested in a small cheese company.

He quickly rose up through the company and was invited to move to Chicago to run the

cheese company's branch there.

After moving to Chicago, the company either went under or the heads of the company pushed

Kraft out (records are conflicting as to what exactly happened there).

Either way, Kraft was left stranded in Chicago, reportedly with little money (perhaps lending

credence to the "went under" theory) and no job.

Using his meager remaining funds, he bought a horse (named Paddy) and a carriage.

For the next few months before dawn every day, he would take Paddy and the carriage

down to the wholesale market on Chicago's Water Street and buy blocks of cheese in bulk.

He would then sell it to the shop owners around town at marked up prices.

His reasoning was that he was doing the hard part for them- finding and buying the cheese

and then bringing it directly to the shop owners- and that was worth the markup.

He was right.

Within five years, Kraft's business was successful enough that four of his brothers

from Canada were able to come to Chicago and help James build his new cheese company.

By 1914, they had incorporated as J.L. Kraft & Bros Company.

That same year, they opened their first cheese factory in Stockton, Illinois.

The next year, in 1915, they changed the cheese game.

While Kraft was the first to receive a US patent for processed cheese, he wasn't the

first to invent it.

Walter Gerber and Fritz Stettler of Switzerland in 1911 experimented with their native Emmentaler

cheese to see if they could increase the shelf life of cheese for export purposes.

Their experiments included shredding, heating the cheese up to various temperatures, and

mixing it with sodium citrate (still used as a food additive today) to produce a "homogenous

product which firmed upon cooling."

It is unclear if Kraft knew of these Swiss gentlemen, but, in 1916, he submitted for

US Patent 1186524, which was titled "Process of sterilizing cheese and an improved product

produced by such process."

In it, it describes a way, "to convert cheese of the Cheddar genus into such condition that

it may be kept indefinitely without spoiling, under conditions which would ordinarily cause

it to spoil, and to accomplish this result without substantially impairing the taste

of the cheese."

It goes on to explain the process of slicing, heating, and stirring cheddar cheese in great

detail, how it needed to be heated to 175 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes while being

whisked continuously.

The patent never mentions the addition of a sodium additive or "emulsifiers" (be

it sodium citrate like the Swiss or a more general sodium phosphate).

This likely is due to the fact that patents are, of course, public and whatever Kraft

added to the mix, he probably wanted to keep it a secret from the competition, a fairly

common practice in the food industry.

This was the birth of commercialized processed cheese.

Kraft's revolutionary new cheese product couldn't have come at a better time for

him, at least business-wise.

When the United States entered World War I in 1917, there was a need for food products

that would last and could be shipped long distances.

By packing his cheese into 3-1/2 and 7-3/4 ounce tins, Kraft was able to become the cheese

supplier to the US Army, earning himself a huge payday and a whole generation of soldiers

trying out his cheese.

Flash forward about twenty five years, to 1952.

Kraft Cheese, besides now having changed the name, was also now the number one cheese seller

in the United States.

(At the time, they were also selling other dairy products and even candy.)

America was in the middle of the post-war economic boom and at the beginning of the

"convenience culture," when products that made life easier were highly sought after,

which also gave rise to the TV Dinner.

Towards this end, just two years before this, in 1950, Kraft developed a revolutionary convenience-oriented

product, pre-sliced, pre-packaged cheese – the famous "Kraft Single."

It was around this time that Kraft Cheese was doing great business in Britain, thanks

to having sent processed cheese off to World War II with the allied soldiers.

This bring us to a popular English dish called Welsh rarebit, which is basically a hot, melted

cheddar cheese sauce poured over toasted bread – think an open-faced grilled cheese.

While delicious, the cheese sauce is actually rather labor-intensive to make, requiring

much time and careful stirring.

Kraft, trying to appease their British customers, asked their team of food scientists led by

Edwin Traisman (who would later help McDonald's flash fry their french fries) to come up with

a faster alternative for this cheese sauce.

After a year and half of experimentation, they did.

Cheez Whiz was introduced in Britain in 1952, and soon after across the United States.

Given its reputation, it might surprise you to learn that Cheez Wiz was, in fact, originally

made with quite a bit of real cheese.

However, very recently, this changed.

In 2013, Michael Moss, a writer for the National Post (a Canadian national newspaper), spoke

with Dean Southworth, a member of Traisman's team at Kraft in the 1950s that helped develop

Cheez Whiz.

Southworth, a huge fan of the original Cheez Whiz, said that the original was, "a nice

spreadable, with a nice flavor.

And it went well at night with crackers and a little martini.

It went down very, very nicely, if you wanted to be civilized."

However, in 2001, he settled down for a "civilized" evening of one of his favorite snacks- crackers,

martini, and Cheez Whiz that he had purchased from the store that day.

Upon spreading the Whiz onto a cracker and taking a bite, he said he exclaimed to his

wife, "My God, this tastes like axle grease!"

Something had radically changed in this jar of Cheez Whiz from the last he had purchased.

Indeed, when he looked at the ingredients list, he saw as you'll still see today-

Cheez Whiz sold in the United States does not explicitly list cheese in the ingredients

anymore.

Rather, if you look, you'll see 27 other ingredients, including whey (a protein byproduct

of milk, the liquid left after the milk has been curdled and strained), corn syrup, and

milk protein concentrate (a cheaper alternative to higher-priced powdered milk).

When Moss and Southworth approached a Kraft spokeswoman about this in 2013, she told them

there was actually still cheese in the Whiz, though much less than there was before.

When asked just how much real cheese was still included in the product, she declined to comment.

She claimed the reason cheese wasn't listed on the ingredients anymore was because the

label already listed the necessary parts of processed cheese (i.e. milk, sodium phosphate,

cheese cultures), therefore no need for "cheese" to be explicitly stated.

At the end of the conversation, she explained, "We made adjustments in dairy sourcing that

resulted in less cheese being used.

However, with any reformulation, we work hard to ensure that the product continues to deliver

the taste that our consumers expect."

Mr. Southworth, of course, didn't care for the new taste.

In the end, the use of some of the ingredients of cheese, rather than cheese itself, has

some business benefits.

As Southworth said, "I imagine it's a marketing and profit thing.

If you don't have to use cheese, which has to be kept in storage for a certain length

of time in order to become usable… then you've eliminated the cost of storage, and

there is more to the profit center."

North Korea Says Trump Is "Incurably Mentally Deranged" And Should Be Medicated - Duration: 2:52.

North Korea's state-controlled media outlets this week have decided to finally fire back

against Donald Trump after his constant basically name calling against Kim Jong-un, calling

him little rocket man and the like, so this week the state-run media outlets in North

Korea decided to hit back at Donald Trump by saying that he is incurably mentally deranged

and obviously needs to be on medication.

They've talked about his bellicose and often violent rhetoric and essentially what they're

saying, I hate to admit it, is not that far from the truth.

Now usually I don't like to put any stock into anything that a dictatorial regime that

murders its own people has to say, but in this particular instance, yeah they got it

100% right because they're echoing basically what a lot of mental health experts here in

the United States have said about the president.

Here's the problem though.

We know that Donald Trump is a guy that cannot handle any kind of criticism.

He can't, and now that we have North Korean state media coming out and saying these kinds

of things, that he has some kind of mental disorder that can't be cured, but he certainly

needs to be medicated, how is Donald Trump going to react to that?

We already know he's having a bad week, okay?

We know that he's got a very short temper, and we know that the last time he lobbed some

missiles over at a country it actually helped his approval rating, which this week stands

at about 33%, so this is dangerous.

This is not a good thing that North Korea is out there saying these things.

They're echoing what the rest of the people in the world are saying as well, but Donald

Trump already wants to go nuke North Korea, and now they're just poking the bear at this

point.

As I've said before, if you go over there and drop some bombs, or missiles, or god forbid

a nuclear weapon, you are going to kill hundreds of thousands, if not more, completely innocent

people who are essentially political prisoners in their own country.

Donald Trump does not know how to act in a diplomatic way, and neither does Kim Jong-un,

but somebody, some kind of grownup, needs to step in and take control and make sure

that we do not on our side or their side end up killing millions of innocent people who

got caught in the crosshairs in a war of words between two absolute morons.

Day Vs. Night | Which is Faster? - Duration: 4:34.

- Night riding is loads of fun, and it can feel really

fast when you're flying through the woods.

But just how fast is it?

Modern lights can be super bright and make it almost

feel like daylight, so let's put them to the test.

I've got a downhill trail, it's a few minutes long,

and I'm going to ride it in the light as fast as I can,

and repeat it at night with lights on,

to see how fast I can go.

(techno music beat)

So the track I'm riding today, and tonight,

is actually an old downhill track.

There's a few rocky steepish bits, fairly fast,

but nothing too crazy.

I'm riding my Canyon Spectral which is 140 mil travel,

it'll be absolutely fine.

I've done a practice run so now it's time to give the

full gas in the daylight and see how fast I can go.

Right, run one, let's go.

(fast trance music beat)

Well, there you go, run done in the light,

felt normal obviously, so it's time to go set up my lights.

Okay, so, to my lighting setup.

I've got two lights.

One for my handlebars, and one for my head,

and that really is the ideal setup.

I've got a bigger one to go one to go on the bars,

this is the Exposure Sixpack, it's super powerful,

it's got 3,600 lumens, but actually bumps up to 4,750,

using this reflex technology.

So, it's got an accelerometer in this and senses

so it knows when you're riding downhill and gives you

that maximum power when you really need it, and then

backs off when you don't.

So if you're standing around chatting it bumps it down

just to save the battery.

Then I've got this Exposure Diablo that's gonna go on top

of my helmet, and you really do need that so you're

looking around corners quite often more than you think,

and your bars maybe not pointing in the right direction.

So two lights, I should have loads of power.

So that was a load of fun, I've got to say riding in the

dark as fast as I could was pretty scary,

although the lights are super bright,

still there's a lot of shadows and actually

the blind brows are the scariest bit,

I was second guessing myself,

I know that trail really well,

but I was coming over those brows thinking

is this a big drop, or is there a werewolf or something

on the back of there?

So it was actually, it was good fun.

Um, but what about the times?

The times are really close.

I did a 2:35 in the daylight and I did a 2:39 in the dark,

so in my book, that's actually really close.

So there you go, lights are brilliant,

definitely for those more mellow rides,

it feels like you can see everything.

And it always felt like I'm going fast tonight,

and actually, maybe I am.

I can't believe how bright these things are.

I KNOW PEOPLE SAY THINGS THAT I DIDN'T SAY.

OH, YEAH, THEY'LL TELL THINGS

THAT'S ABSOLUTELY WRONG;

I DID NOT SAY THEM.

[GIGGLES] YOU KNEW HOW CRUCIAL YOUR INFORMATION WAS,

GOD IS SAYING TO MANY OF THE PREACHERS IN PULPITS TODAY,

"THAT IS NOT WHAT I SAID."

HE IS SAYING TO MANY IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS,

"THAT IS NOT WHAT I SAID."

LET'S GO TO THE STORY OF CREATION

AND WHAT GOD SAID ABOUT IT.

GOD CREATED MAN, THE HEAVENS, THE EARTH

YET SO MANY TODAY ARE TELLING IT A DIFFERENT WAY.

THEY ARE DENYING,

THEIR JOURNEY IN COLLEGE TO WALK AWAY FROM THEIR FAITH.

WELL, HE'S FULL OF THE DEVIL!

What Is Functional Threshold Power? | How To Calculate Your FTP - Duration: 5:19.

- If you've spent a little time doing triathlon or cycling,

you'll probably have heard the term "FTP."

But what on earth is it?

Well, in cycling terms, these three letter stand for

"functional threshold power."

And knowing your own FTP is a pretty powerful tool

for determining your training zones,

measuring your improvement,

and setting your rate intensities.

Simply put, your FTP is the highest average power

you can sustain for an hour.

But you will be pleased to hear

you don't have to do a 60-minute time trial to get your FTP;

there is a shorter test, the 20-minute FTP test.

And the nice thing about this test,

and probably the only nice thing,

is that anyone can do this, more or less anywhere.

There's no need to go into

a special laboratory to be tested;

you can easily do this yourself in your own time,

meaning you can retest regularly from time to time.

All you need for the test is a bike

and a means of measuring the power,

and that can be a power metre on your bike,

a smart trainer or a static gym bike with integrated power.

And from my experience, having a power metre on your bike

is perhaps the ideal, because it not only allows you

to do the test anywhere, it also allows you

to utilise your power metre and your new FTP data

on every ride.

Before anything, we need to make sure we do a good warmup

with a couple of hard efforts to really prepare the legs.

And this isn't the sort of thing

we can warm up for in five minutes, either.

You should allow yourself a good 15 minutes or so

to really make sure you're ready to nail the test.

The test itself requires you to ride

as hard as is sustainable for 20 minutes.

Now, there are a few different FTP test variations,

but the 20-minute test is a proven test

used by many of the pros,

and relates well to the style of riding we do in triathlon.

Now most importantly, make sure you record the effort.

Trust me; you do not want to lose this data.

You can even set a new lap on your bike computer,

or even a new ride,

just to make analysis of that data easier post-ride.

Now I've performed a fair few of these tests over the years,

both well paced and poorly paced,

and understandably it's easy to get overexcited

and fly out the blocks, or alternatively,

you could be a little overwhelmed by the idea of the test,

and start out a touch too easy

leaving a tonne of energy in the tank for the end.

Instead, you should aim for a consistent effort

throughout the 20 minutes, with an average power

identical from the first and second half.

Well, this is all very well,

but what should you be aiming for?

If you've done an FTP test before,

you may be able to gauge your current level off that

whilst factoring in your training to date.

And if you feel like you've moved on,

you may be able to start at 10 to 15 watts higher

than your average power from last time.

And then after 10 minutes, you can make a call

as to whether you maintain that or you push on.

But if this test is completely new to you,

well, you may need to go by fairly little.

It does take a bit of practise

and not everyone nails it first time.

However, if you're used to using heart rate or speed,

you could go by those numbers whilst recording your power

in the background.

Wherever you chose to do the test,

you want to make sure it's easily repeatable

for future tests.

And for that reason, many opt to do this

in a controlled environment on the indoor trainer

where there's very little disruption.

Or if you're like me, you may feel better out on the road,

and feel like you produce a higher power.

And whilst you tend to feel like you can produce

a higher power on the hills,

I would normally suggest trying to do this

on a relatively flat or rolling road,

so then your zones line up with the type of roads

that you're more frequently training and racing on.

Once you've completed your 20-minute effort,

the number you want to be looking at is your average power.

Now currently, that is only for 20 minutes,

so we want to translate that to your 60-minute FTP.

and you can do that by multiplying it by 0.95,

or you can input it into a number of online calculators.

And once you have your new FTP,

you can then calculate your training zones.

And again, you can do this

with a number of online calculators,

or even some training software will do this for you.
