What is my vocation? - Duration: 5:13.

God's plan is for all of us to be with Him one day in heaven. We all have a

vocation, and we're all called to union with God in love. His whole desire is to

make us happy, and to bring us back to be with him forever.

The best vocation is God's will; there's nothing better than God's will. It's just

how the Lord wants to work through each one of us, and He knows. He's got that

kind of hidden in our hearts. And when we pray, and when we're attentive, that

becomes obvious - the way the Lord wants to use us. The vocation to

religious life - I think it's misunderstood a lot. Sometimes people say:

'Oh, it's an interesting career you've chosen,' and I always say, 'Well, it's not

really a career.' The closest thing to someone who hasn't

experienced it that I can explain is falling in love with someone and getting

married. Some people think 'Oh gosh, you're a Sister; that must be really a sad life.'

And it's so absolutely the opposite, that when we do whatever God calls us to do,

what we do totally fulfills us, and makes us very happy so it's an extremely

happy life, as well. I believe that our young people today: They need to first

believe in themselves - believe that God has called them because He loves them.

There's a line that I love in John: "It's not so much that you have loved me, but

that I have loved you." And I think our young people today, along with older

people, as well, but they often receive a message that they have to first prove

their love to God. Get to know yourself, believe in yourself, but recognize that

that God is going to use you and He's gonna love you in ways they didn't think

were possible. The vocation to marriage is a way of expressing God's love. We are

the domestic church and that's our vocation is to love Christ through each other, and

through our children, and through all the other people that we get to know in our

family life. I heard a wonderful homily from a priest in vocations week one year

he said, 'You have to ask yourself how did God make you to love?' God wants you to

love your vocation; He calls us each to do what he has in

in His mind, but that doesn't mean that any one vocation is better. Every single

vocation, whether you're a priest or a nun, or you're married or single, we are

all called to be a gift of self. We aren't truly happy until we give of

ourselves fully in love. Hello, this is Bishop Michael Burbidge, speaking to you

during National Vocation Awareness Week. Certainly a reminder that God has

created all of us in His image and likeness, and has a divine plan for each

one of us. This week provides us an opportunity to renew our 'Yes' to God's

call, and to pray in a special way for the grace we need to live in a manner

worthy of the call we have received. Dear brother priests, I encourage you to renew

your 'Yes' to fervent prayer for the Church and the people you serve, for the

faithful proclamation of the Gospel, the reverent celebration of the Sacraments.

Dear consecrated religious, renew your 'Yes' to poverty, chastity and obedience.

Dear deacons, renew your 'Yes' to imitate the humble service of Jesus, who washed

the feet of his disciples. Dear married couples, renew your 'Yes' to

one another, and to the Lord, so that you will be that visible sign of His love

for His bride, the Church, a love that is sacrificial and permanent and faithful

and life-giving. For all of us, this is a special opportunity to renew our 'Yes' to live in

integrity and holiness of life. And my dear young friends in Christ, who are

discerning your vocation, God's plan for you: Where is the Lord leading you? Of

course, you will only be able to discern through prayer, a prayer that also allows

for silence, so that you can hear the Lord speak in His Word, His message to

your heart. I always suggest to those discerning their vocation in life to

make sure the question you're asking is not, 'What am I going to

do with my life?' but rather, 'Lord, what is it you're asking me to do with my life?'

Because when we say 'Yes' to that call, we will know the peace and the joy and the

serenity we are seeking. And so dear friends in Christ, we pray for one another in a

special way during this National Vocation Awareness

Week: That we will offer a fervent 'Yes' to the Lord, to God's call in our lives, and

that with His divine assistance, we will live in a manner worthy of the call we

have received.

[Billy] If you get a cancer diagnosis,

it's kind of like a shot across the bow

that, hey, you're not gonna be here forever,

and if there's some things you want to do,

you better get busy doing it.

But the funny thing about that is,

is that we're all in the same boat.

It's just that I've been alerted, and you haven't.

Gabriel Is 10 Months Old! We Can't Believe It! - Duration: 13:01.

Happy ten months Gabriel happy ten months

Are you ten months old do you have food in your eyebrows?

All right, so today is today this little one is ten months old, and this is ten month update

So we haven't done an official weight yet, but the other day when we weighed in before his bath

He'd actually lost a little bit of weight from our last nine month update, which makes me sad

then use it 21 pounds eight ounces, and he was 822 pounds last time so I

Don't think he's gotten too much longer

And cuz he's still able to wear in his nine month clothes

Stuff makes me think he hasn't grown too many inches

But he ranges from nine month close to 18 month close

You can watch some 12 months 18 months, so we're using it all until it's completely stretched out and doesn't work anymore

He's in size 4 diapers, and we had to switch diaper brands who were pampers people

But now we're Huggies people because we found that the Pampers diapers were making little cuts

low scrapes on his thighs

We tried not to put him so tight, but they still were so we switched to Huggies

So now we're doing high knees so I think this is gonna be a short video because he and what does they still?

Um he food-wise he hasn't tried to be new things

We've kept our same little rotation the food. You know he's like we have introduced finger foods, though

We've introduced little cream ease

And it makes me absolutely terrified to give them to him because I am so worried he's gonna choke on them

And I'm not gonna lie the very first time I fed them to him

I broke them in quarters and pre-moistened them. Yep. That's right. There are the ones that dissolve on your tongue

But it is really cute to watch him try to pick it up cuz they get stuck in his little home

So you like shovels in his mouth, but he's doing pretty good with him

Other than that no new foods

Um sleep wise so Jacob is mentioned protein Oh

Jacob just reminded me that we've introduced

chicken and turkey

And we talked about that last time

We said we're gonna get it in baby food jars, and so that's what we have been doing he likes those okay?

He's not like ooh

beats about him, but he's

tolerable to them

So food wise thank you

I sleep wise Jacob has mentioned that we've been doing some sleep training

I tried to find a really gentle method, and I feel like it's working pretty well

we've actually gotten a couple of five-hour stretches, which is awesome and that's exactly what I wanted and we've

Been able to get him to fall all week on his alone at night, and he's done that too

And we actually had had one night where he barely even like made half a little baby cry and then he fell asleep

So I feel like that's good progress

That is to say last night was terrible and he got up at 2:00

And didn't couldn't fall back asleep for an hour, and so I actually had to nurse him

and I've been trying tonight wean him as well and not nurse him through the

A.m.. Hours because for a while there was every two three hours. I was having a nursing

So that's sleep

We are trying to transition to two naps today where he has one hour-long nap of the morning and then a longer afternoon nap

Like two hours. He has not taken a two hour and a half in the afternoon. That's the goal and it's not what's happening

It's usually just an hour which I know Danny would appreciate a two hour nap, but not so much right now

So we're still working on naps, but sleep is pretty good

We started a little bit of an earlier bedtime at like 6:30

And actually with this sleep training. He's been sleeping a little later because of for a while there

He was getting up at like 5:30 or 6:00, but lately it's been about 6:30 or 7:00, so I figure I consider that a success

So that's sleek

Development wise he is so mobile

He's crawling completely on his hands and knees. He's not army crawling on his belly anymore, and he's fast now

He started out kind of slow on his crawl, but now he's really fast

And he pulls up on every as you can tell nothing is safe anymore

Yeah

The thing that I'm probably the most excited about is that he waves now I've literally been

Trying to teach him to wave since he was born and he does it now

He's not gonna do it on camera because he's got this thing to play with look he daddy

Look you dad. Let me have this look again you see hey

Hey, hey, oh

Of course it's not gonna do it when I talk about it, but he waves now and it's really really cute

He'll even do it when he wants something like if you are walking towards him with food

Arms out and do that that's really cute. He uses it to communicate

He pulls himself up on everything and he also it started to do what they call cruising where he'll pull itself up

And he'll like walk alongside of it, so it'll do that in his crib and his packet playing even the couch

And it's really cute you can tell he's preparing to take his first steps

He is still on his tippy toes when he pulls up

He's not flat-footed yet, so I don't think we're close to walking or standing

Independently I think we've still got a waste for that

But he let's try to pull up on everything he's also discovered the dogs as he's doing right now

I don't know if Charlie's in the shot, but Charlie's sitting next to us

And he will chase the puppies and Charlie will actually play with him, and it's really cute

he'll won't be on the bed and Charlie will start on over here and run and

Gabriel will chase us so he discovered the puppies, and he's discovered that he wants them

For his loves in his hates

He loves

What is he loved daddy being outside? Oh he loves being outside?

He's actually an outside baby, which now that the weather is not quite so hot

I'm okay with although his little his little Act. Not acne eggs about on his cheeks

Definitely gets a lot better

When he's been outside for a while so try to limit that

He loves always we say this every month other children and other babies

He's really fascinated by them and likes to watch them, so that's great

He loves

Remotes there could be a handful of toys in front of him and it but if there was a remote

He would chew that choose that one we actually are planning a hunt seeing if we can find

Seeing if we can find a

Dog toy chewable dog toy remote so he can chew on that because I worried the Roku remotes are fine

Because there's not that many buttons

But I worry about other remotes with having a lot of buttons and the on the off-chance and he could do it. I'm sure

Pop a button off and she want it and choke on it, so we want to try to find a dog toy

That is made to be chewed Jude Jude

Jude Jude on Jude apollon

We'd like to find one of those

Good roll

He's been pretty speedy up me today

This is a real-life video you guys yeah

He's done a lot of firsts this month. He went on his first airplane ride. Yep. She went on to airplane rides

And he did okay

insert Clips links to those videos here or

Here wherever it fits he went to his first

Family reunion on Jacob side of the family so that was fun

He what else did he do which was first pumpkin patch had his first Halloween?

Bunch of yeah, I didn't watch that video yet, it's really cute

Okay, so the last thing we'll talk about is breastfeeding so I've been struggling lately with

Low supply. I really feel like my milk is starting to

Dry up so to speak

And I've tried drinking more drinking the fenugreek tea

He's sad about it, too. I'm just not pumping very much

Coming and

Jeb has really had to dip into our freezer stash, and we don't have that much left in our freezer

And it's giving me a lot of anxiety and stress

And so I decided that we were gonna go ahead and try to supplement with formula

During the day one of his bottles that he gets with daddy make it formula and see if that

Helps we can keep our freezer stash for like emergencies if he get sick, and he needs that

Breast milk, but use formula during the day to supplement what I'm not producing

and Jacob tried it for the first time today and

He didn't take to it, and it was only the first time and I'm trying not to be discouraged about it

And I mean we've made it 10 months my goal was a year, but I think 10 months is a good journey

I'm just trying to get over my guilt about not

Breastfeeding anymore, but it's hard and everything you read

Makes you feel so guilty and that you need to in it for a year, but fed his best

And I just want him to be happy and healthy and that's cuz he lost a little bit of weight

Since last month. That's my concern is that he's not getting enough

We decreased the number of

Solid foods that he's had that he's having during the day we were doing two pretty consistently

But I was worried about supplying that he was not taking enough breast milk, and so we dropped it down to just one

solid food

Event a day and

Still I don't feel like my supplies got any better, and we are I did night lean

So I don't know if that has something to do with so there's just so many factors, and I'm just having a lot of

Anxiety and frustration about it, and I just wanted to be healthy and happy and fed

So we're going to keep trying to supplement with formula

And I'll keep pumping while I'm at work. He'll keep pumping until the well runs dry that's my goal so

Any other fun things daddy come here on camera and show them your face

Hurry up, No

So this was an exciting month lots of good developments

He is so mobile and so over the foot all over the place are you waiting?

So

It's been a really fun month, and I cannot believe he is 10 months old you guys in two months about you guys

I'm sorry everybody he in two months

He will be one year old like we're already starting to talk about his first birthday party, which is insane to me

It goes so fast

You blink and you'll miss it

And I just want my little, baby

I want to be with him all the time jealous the daddy gets to be with him all day long

But I'm happy the daddy gets do with him. It's just enough to be in daycare

So I think we're gonna wrap it up there. This was Gabriel's 10 month update. I hope you enjoyed it

As Frustration Towards Sessions Grows, Trump Is Close To Delivering Nasty Surprise - Duration: 5:11.

On Thursday, President Donald Trump told WMAL host Larry O'Connor that he was "very

frustrated" that he can't tell the Justice Department what to do.

This is coming after the latest revelations about Donna Brazile's exposing of Hillary

Clinton and the Democrat Party.

Like much of America, it seems the President's frustrations with Attorney General Jeff Sessions

are growing, and he could be close to delivering a nasty surprise.

Here's what we know.

"But you know the saddest thing?

Because I'm the President of the United States I am not supposed to be involved with

the Justice Department.

I am not supposed to be involved with the FBI," Trump told O'Connor.

"I'm not supposed to be doing the kinds of things I would love to be doing, and I'm

very frustrated by it," he continued.

"Why aren't they going after Hillary Clinton with her emails and with the dossier, and

the kind of money?"

Trump added.

"Now, maybe they are, but as president, and I think you understand this, as a president

you are not supposed to be involved in that process."

After the interview with O'Connor and WMAL, the President then took his frustration to

Twitter.

"Donna Brazile just stated the DNC RIGGED the system to illegally steal the Primary

from Bernie Sanders.

Bought and paid for by Crooked H," Trump tweeted.

"This is real collusion and dishonesty.

Major violation of Campaign Finance Laws and Money Laundering – where is our Justice

Department?"

Former Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile wrote in a Politico op-ed that

by agreeing to pay off DNC debts, the Clinton campaign effectively took control of the party

— which is pretty much money laundering.

This isn't the first time that Trump has vented his frustration towards Attorney General

Jeff Sessions and the Justice Department.

Back in July, he called Sessions "beleaguered" after asking why he wasn't looking into

Hillary Clinton's crimes.

At that time, a former Sessions aide told The Daily Caller, "It's bulls**t.

Sessions is too good for our juvenile crybaby president," the aide said.

Sessions' aide also added that the Attorney General is the one cabinet member "that

is implementing his agenda."

Let's start off with Donald Trump's frustration.

It's completely understandable, and a lot of folks on the right also feel the same frustration

towards Sessions for his lack of action towards the #LockHerUp campaign.

Even with Hillary Clinton's very own people exposing her as full of corruption, there's

still zero action out of Jeff Sessions.

In fact, the only thing we've heard from Sessions is his aggression towards gang members

and drug dealers.

That's all fine and good, but we haven't heard a peep out of Jeff about Hillary, nor

the DNC.

It's understandable why President Trump doesn't want to be active in the DOJ and

FBI; namely, he wants to respect the separation of powers and constitution, unlike his predecessor.

In fact, it was reported just a few weeks ago that former President Barack Obama had

used the Department of Justice to block funding towards conservative groups.

It was also reported that Hillary Clinton was already a free person before the FBI even

finished their "investigation."

It's obvious that both agencies were being used for political purposes by the left.

In this current political climate, in this crucial era in this country, with both agencies

still being used for evil by Obama holdovers, why shouldn't Trump obtain more power and

use it for good?

Order executive action over the DOJ and FBI, order a massive investigation into Hillary

Clinton and the Democrat Party, and get Clinton locked up — along with Barack Obama, Loretta

Lynch, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, James Comey, Robert Mueller, John Podesta, and the list

is just too long to name everybody.

After that swamp is drained, then you order leadership in each agency that will actually

be for America instead of serving a political agenda.

No problem.

"Well, it could open up a can of worms," people will argue, but we're way past that

point already.

As far as Sessions' aide, who said, "It's bulls**t.

Sessions is too good for our juvenile crybaby president.

Sessions is implementing his agenda."

I'm not seeing it other than with the gang members.

When it comes to Sessions' pot fascination, Trump has clearly said multiple times that

he has no problem with medical marijuana.

Sessions is going in the opposite direction.

So, could this aide please explain how Sessions is implementing Trump's agenda because all

I see is Hillary Clinton making money from books and TV appearances when she should be

behind bars.

If the lack of action, horrible priorities, and growing frustration continues, President

Trump may have to make a move in the Department of Justice, and Jeff Sessions is not going

to be happy about it.

Don't be surprised in the near future if you see Sessions get canned because Trump

wants and knows his base wants Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and all of their goons to pay

for their crimes.

Wouldn't that be a beautiful sight to behold?

If this pace continues, the firing of the AG is coming, and "Don't let the door

hit you on the way out" is the first quote that comes to mind.

What Is Overeating? Reasons Why You Overeat, And How To Stop Overeating (3 Tips) - Duration: 6:02.

Hi everyone, I'm Evelyn Parham of Evelyn Parham com helping you become a healthier you

Today's topic is about overeating. I will tell you what overeating is

Why it happens and I'll give you some tips to help you stop overeating?

Before I get into all of that. I want you to know that this eating concern

overeating is

Usually labeled as emotional eating. I use the term emotional eating so that you know what I am referring to I

believe that we are all

emotional eaters because we have

tons of celebrations around food which evoke emotions

What is overeating?

If I have a client who comes to me for help with overeating?

They have the belief that they eat too much

But it is. Also the bodily experience of eating too much

You know when we overeat our bellies get bigger we may unbutton our pants so we have more room to

feel comfortable

We are stuffed. We can't move we just can't do too much now. That's

Overeating Here are some reasons why you are overeating number one. You're eating rhythm is off

Typically a first meal is anywhere between 6 a.m.. And 9 a.m.

It really just depends on the time you wake up and your work schedule

And this is not anything engraved in stone, but this is just an example of

What eating rhythm is and lunch is typically 11 o'clock to 2 p.m.

And then dinner is usually 5 to 8 p.m.. As

I said this is just a sample of

what an eating rhythm looks like and

also, we do have a circadian rhythm that our body functions on and

naturally our body wants food at certain times

So that's where the eating rhythm comes in the second reason number two is that you have an imbalance with your

macronutrients we know that

macronutrients are carbohydrates

fat and protein

When these are not balanced enough for you and your body

Then you may find yourself overeating the third reason number three why you are

overeating is because you have a lack of nutrient-dense foods in your diet and

nutrient-dense foods are foods that are loaded with lots of

nutrients and minerals and vitamins that your body needs and the fourth reason

Why you are overeating is that you eat when you are stressed

eating when you are stressed results and you not paying attention to how much food you're

Consuming here are some tips to help you stop overeating

number one

be aware and be present when you are eating and you're probably saying we're Evelyn I

Am present and aware

When I'm eating I'm looking right at my food

That's

Not exactly what I'm talking about here sometimes. We are not present when we're eating

We are

distracted by other things such as

Watching TV or surfing the internet while we're eating or checking our notifications on our smartphone

That leads to distraction

Which causes you to overeat? So you're really not present and aware of your food

You know you have food there

But you're not paying attention to what's going on the second tip is to allow yourself to have pleasure with your food

Taste the food and take your time

Eating the food and simply enjoy the spices the flavors all

Their good stuff mmm. I'm just thinking about something right in there, and I'm like oh yeah, don't

Wolf down your food. Don't eat so fast

enjoy

Your food for what It is and what it does for your body

Have pleasure around it and the last tip that I have for you tip number three

Allow yourself to be relaxed while you're eating

Don't eat while you're stressed don't eat while you're upset

Just allow yourself time to just sit down relax and enjoy

The food each of us at some point in time has succumbed to overeating

Overeating does not make you a bad person

Let me repeat that

Overeating does not make you a bad

Person it happens to call your attention to what's going on in your life

there's always a deeper reason for why you are overeating and

Learning to notice when you do overeat is a wonderful way to learn to listen to your body

Pay attention to how you feel

What you feel and your thoughts when you are eating

doing so helps you truly focus on being present with your food and

Enjoying it and having pleasure around your food

You don't have to feel guilty for feeling pleasure and enjoying food. I have a question for you

What is one thing that you will start doing today to help you with overeating. Please share it in the comment section below, I love

Hearing from you and do know that I respond to your comments

Thank you so much for watching, and I'll see you in the next video

Jesus Said 002 - Is Jesus a Sinner? - Duration: 7:47.

Hey! Welcome to our second episode of Jesus Said – a devotional series on everything Jesus said.

Last week, we looked at the first recorded words of Jesus when he was 12 years old.

This week, we're going to the scene where Jesus starts his active ministry.

So let's go!

Picking up from last week, it's around 7ad.

aroun 2010 years ago.

Jesus grows up in Nazareth "in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man."

Now, fast forward to the Fall of year 29ad.

Jesus is around 30 years old according to Luke chapter 3.

There are a number of historical arguments for the exact year and age of Jesus.

We're not going to get into this too much.

If you want a video on how scholars determine these years, let me know in the comments below.

But basically, I started with the earliest reasonable birth year of Jesus which is 6bc

(2 years before Herod dies) and I'll finish with the more reasonable year of his crucifixion

which is 33ad.

So, with that, let's set the stage first.

Jesus is 33 years old.

Lived most of those years in Nazareth, Galilee.

It seems like he lived a fairly quiet life.

Nothing recorded in the bible about him since he was 12.

He probably had a normal group of people he knew but probably nothing more.

Israel is still under the Roman Empire.

Pontius Pilate is the roman prefect governing over the region of Judea

where Jerusalem is located.

And Herod Antipas (son of King Herod who tried to kill Jesus at birth) is the tetrarch governing

over Galilee (where Jesus lives) and Perea.

Now the main religious hub for the Jews is Jerusalem.

The temple is there, and it was the capital city.

The city of David.

But there also was a sizable Jewish population up in Galilee.

So that's the basic setting we're in.

Now, a little bit before Jesus was born, a guy named John was born, known more as John,

the Baptist.

And this guy, his whole God given life purpose was to prepare the way for the coming Messiah.

He grew up and started preaching in the wilderness of Judea telling people to repent of their sins.

[Old Testament Fact: Jews were the first people group chosen by God to restore relationship

with him.

He told them that if they want to be in a relationship with him, they have to be holy

as He is holy.

So, God gave them rules to keep called 'the Law' and a way to make amends if they break

these laws called 'the sacrificial system'.

This would keep them in the vicinity of holiness which would allow the relationship to continue.

But as time passed, we see the Israelites sin more and more and care less about this

relationship with God.

And they end up paying the price.

War breaks out.

They're invaded by neighboring counties, they become slaves, they almost even get annihilated

completely.

And every time, they go crying back to God.

And God gives them another chance, but again and again… they not only ignore God but

betray, cheat on, him by worshiping other idols completely disregarding the Law.]

Ok.

That was kind of a long side note… but going back to John, he's shouting to these Jews

that the Messiah, the Savior the prophets foretold, is coming to restore them back to

God completely.

"So REPENT!

Get your act together if you want to be included when the Messiah comes!"

This message is reaching quite a lot of people.

Now, John is dunking people in the Jordan river as a cleansing ceremony symbolically washing

them of their sins, a baptism of repentance.

Now here comes Jesus, finally all grown up, he makes his first public appearance.

Keep in mind, the Messiah was foretold by many prophets and every Jewish boy and girl

grew up hearing about his prophecies.

The anointed holy servant of God who will redeem Israel.

Jesus, the Son of God.

He goes from Nazareth to Bethany, beyond the Jordan river, where John is preaching and

baptizing people.

John is overwhelmed.

His whole life was a prelude to the Messiah and here he is!

Jesus is standing right in front of him.

But to his surprise, Jesus is in line to get baptized by him!

To get a baptism of repentance meant for sinners.

Why would Jesus receive that baptism?

Doesn't make sense!

So "John tried to deter him, saying "I need to be baptized by you, and do you come

to me?"

Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness."

Then John consented.

As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water.

At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and

alighting on him.

And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

Wait…

What just happened?

Jesus takes a sinner's baptism to somehow "fulfill all righteousness" (whatever

that means) and then heaven cracks open…

The Spirit of God descends on Jesus like a dove would and a voice from heaven, proclaiming

Jesus in the most spectacular way as the Son of God!

So much is going on, but this scene still begs the question, why on earth did Jesus

start his ministry getting baptized?

Is he a sinner?

Did the Son of God break the Law or have problems with his heavenly Father?

It doesn't seem like it, considering the fact that God, the Father, just publicly declared

his affection and love for his Son.

The answer is technically a no and a yes.

Jesus never sinned or did anything that would jeopardize his relationship with his heavenly

Father.

So, in that sense, he never sinned.

He's not a sinner.

Yet he is a sinner.

See, when Jesus chose to come to earth, the Bible says that

Jesus "made himself nothing… being made in human

likeness… he humbled himself" Phil.2:7-8.

And "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the

righteousness of God." 2 Cor. 5:21

So, when Jesus said to John, "Let it be

so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness."

He's saying "It's ok.

Do it.

This needs to happen to for me to fulfill righteousness for all people".

See, not only did Jesus hang out with sinners and love them, he came to restore them back

to God.

So, bearing all of our sin, standing in our place, he had to repent of all the sins we

committed, turn towards God and live perfectly according to the Law.

He would also, at some point, have to receive the punishment for all the sins we committed

and only then we would be made righteous.

And we would then be in good standing before our Holy God – Because Jesus, starting from

the beginning of his life, came to fulfill our righteousness that we ignored, thought

little of, made fun of, and easily failed to accomplish.

Why?

Why would he do all this for people who don't even care?

People like you and me who care more about worldly things than about working on our relationship

with God?

Because He loves us.

He loves you so much that He would send His one and only Son to go through all this to

restore relationship with you.

Personally, this blows me away.

It's the reason why I do what I do and I am who I am today.

And I hope you got some of that love from this passage today too.

Now, I would love to hear how this passage came to you.

Any thoughts or any questions you might have.

So leave them in the comments below.

And next week, we'll see how hard it was for Jesus to live each day carrying all of our

sins as temptations comes at him left and right.

Till then take care and May the peace of Christ be with you.
