Ladies and gentelments, this is it
Historical moment
An interview with special guests
from Texas
Let's go, honey
T: John, Charles, David, so nice to meet you
Good afternoon. How are you?
We're doing great, thank you.
J: Pleasure to meet you too
D: Nice to meet you
T: Thanks
So, why are you here?
You're from Texas, yes?
J: Right
T: So, why are you here? And what do you do in our university?
... John
J: Ok. We're representing an organization called Character International
from Dallas, Texas
and it's our job to come and help future teachers
learning how to teach character education in public school classrooms
And we've been invited by the administration of the university here
to come and work with pedagogical students
and learning how to teach character education
so we work with students every Fall and every spring
Teaching them how to teach that in their classrooms
T: Ok. So, why did you choose Ukraine, Charles?
C: We chose Ukraine because Ukraine actually chose us
Some years ago we were invited to Ukraine
by a university in eastern Ukraine
and since 2001-2002 we've been doing seminars
T: So you're doing seminars for 17 years in Ukraine, right?
J: Yeah, that's correct
Do you see the difference between United States kids and Ukrainian kids
or Ukrainian teachers - the USA teachers?
D: I would say not a lot, except you're in Ukraine and you speak Ukrainian
and we're in America and we speak English.
But, apperently, same kinds of issues
same kinds of problems in families, communities have
My experience is what we're not that all together different
T: Nice, nice to hear that.
We're all humans
J: Yes D: Absolutely
T: I've heard that you give our students an opportunity
to share this knowledge
Do you give some kind of sertificates, diplomas
after [students] attending these classes
J: Yes. Every time they finish one of our seminars
we provide them a sertificate that says
they've attended a basic seminar
or a seminar of Leadership, or Conflict Resolution,
or other advanced seminar we may teach.
When they collect at least 4,
we give them a sertificate saying
they're a sertified character trainer.
That qualifies them to teach in their schools
or teach other seminars.
So that's kind of an achievement
for who wants to go through multiple.
But I understand that we can't teach it all the time
so we have to train trainers.
That's our job right now - training trainers
I've been working with the faculty for the last two years
trying to put together a meditorial board
that will allow us to receive articles and papers
and research materials
and then we will be able to consider that publication
So we're in the proccess right now of doing that
and hopefully in the next year - year & half
we'll be able to accept and publish
the first round of papers that represent the publication
It will start out being an online journal
the professional journal
We'll see what the reception is for that
and the request for copies
It's very expencieve to print out a paper copy
and we don't want the cost to get in the way
of preventing us from publishining it
So we'll start with an online publication
people can go online and read it
enjoy journals and the articles, you know
So we're very close to having that done
T: Nice, nice! So, what's next?
Which researches are going to be next?
Do you have a plan? Like, for next years?
J: Oh, I think the plan is to continue what we're doing
You know, and every time we come our base expands
we start with 35 or 40 students
and now we have 300+ students
in the entire programm
And that multiplies every time we come
so we wanna continue doing what we're doing
and hopefully we will see the benefit of that
throuthout all the schools in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast.
Public school system is looking very strongly
at adopting our programm for teaching character in the public school.
So we don't know what that lead us to.
More training at administrators and faculty members
and methodists to do working on science.
A lot of things are being considered right now
But we've a lot more to do. Before full complete.
T: I've heard about a laboratory. Which kind of laboratory is going to be opened?
D: Kind of a learning laboratory
where students in fact they are interstudent character
can come, do a research, participate
in ways, perhaps, going online
that is still being developed fully
it's going to happen sometime soon
T: But, is this going to be in our university?
J, C, D: Yes, right
T: Ok, this was about your experience here with classes.
What about our country, our city? Do you like it?
J: Oh, absolutely, absolutely
D: Why would we keep coming back, if we didn't like it?
T: Well, just in case
D: Yeah, it's... it's like second home, part of a heart is here
it feels like each time we step off the plane we're kinda coming home again
T: It's so nice to hear, thank you!
J: If you would talk to our families, when we get home...
we'll be home in 3 weeks
I've been here for 3 weeks, so it'd be almost 2 months being in Ukraine
When I get home, if you ask them, what is dad think about,
or what is my husband think about, and they would say
"he thinks about his next trip"
when it's coming in March or April
so it's continually on the top of our minds and in our proccess and plans
it's a very speacial city and a very speacial contry
and we feel very much of kindship with the people here
and someday we might even learn the language
It's very hard to learn for an old man,
but we learn litle of words every time
makes us feel more at home
T: You tell this is your second home. What your families think about it?
J: Oh, that's a wonderfull question
My family is very-very supportive at the work that I do here
They look forward to me being happy by comming
I hope that someday my family can travel with me here and I can introduce them
there're sircumstances at home that prevent all of us from coming sertainly
but at some point they feel like... they look at the pictures
and hear the stories and they're excited.
T: What about you, Charles
C: Well, of cource, my family is happy me to be involved at this work
my wife is also involved in this work because as you might know
she wrote the manual for use for this training seminars we do here
So she's very supportive and has made me to trip to Ukraine herself.
We're all in
T: Wow! Hrm, what do you think about moving to Ukraine
because I know families that moved from the West to western Ukraine
to Lviv, to Ivano-Frankivsk, to Kyiv
Have you ever had this question in your mind?
Whether to move to Ukraine or not?
D: Every time I leave my wife says "you're coming back..."
And I say "Maybe..."
J: We always are asked by our friends
"well, if you're there so often, why don't you just move there?"
And that make sense if we would do that,
but our families are so brought and spread out
you know, if this was just me and my wife, that would be one thing
but that children and grandchildren ...
T: Of cource
J: It makes it very difficult to leave your nuclear family behind...
Our trips are getting longer and longer
so it's almost like living in here now and I'm going home for vacation
T: Thank you very much!
J: You're welcome
D: Thank you!
T: Thank you for coming to Ukraine, to Ivano-Frankivsk
It's so nice that you give us, Ukrainians,
this opportunity to move our country into the future
and build our kids together. Thank you!
We are PNU Media and I'm Tim
I'm excited, how about you?
Let me know in the comments below!
I dare you!

Jeff Johnson for Governor: - Duration: 3:25.
The DFL candidates for governor are calling for a single payer healthcare system in Minnesota
to address the health insurance mess we have right now.
And it sounds great, right?
Everyone is covered and you don't have to pay for your health insurance anymore.
It sounds too good to be true - because it is.
In fact, single payer would be an absolute disaster for most Minnesotans.
Let's be clear about what single payer really means.
Private insurance is gone.
Every single Minnesotan with some form of private insurance (whether through your employer
or otherwise) will lose your plan and will be forced onto the single government plan
that exists for everyone.
The system will be designed and run by state bureaucrats who will decide what the health
plan looks like and what treatment is granted or denied.
And treatment WILL be denied.
Single payer systems control costs primarily by limiting access to healthcare, either by
forcing patients to wait indefinitely for treatment or by just denying treatment outright
because the procedure is too expensive or the patient is too old or sick.
The best example in America we have of single payer healthcare is the V.A.
Yes, that V.A - the one responsible for veterans dying as they wait indefinitely for treatment.
That's single payer healthcare.
We also have examples from other countries - Great Britain and Canada come up the most
often.
Their experience with long wait times and rationing is not encouraging.
And on top of all this, the cost to taxpayers is crippling.
Vermont, California and Colorado have all recently abandoned plans to implement single
payer based on the cost.
They found that the new system would nearly double their states' budgets and require
a new 10 to 11% payroll tax on every employee in the state.
So here's the single payer bargain: You will lose your health insurance and be enrolled
in the government plan that everyone gets.
You'll probably lose your doctor, you'll probably see longer wait times - maybe much
longer wait times - and you'll quite possibly be denied treatment that government considers
too expensive.
Oh, and your taxes will skyrocket.
I don't like that bargain - because we need to be moving in exactly the opposite direction
to fix healthcare in Minnesota.
As governor, I'll work with neighboring states to allow Minnesotans to buy insurance
across state lines, eliminate state mandates that limit consumer choices and empower individuals
to buy limited coverage policies at a lower cost if they choose.
We'll revive Minnesota's high risk pool providing coverage for those with preexisting
conditions and we'll allow people on subsidized programs to take that subsidy money if they
choose and spend it in the market for something that better suits their needs.
I don't make promises lightly, but I can promise you this: When I'm governor, Minnesota
will NEVER have a single payer system.
Instead we'll take care of those in need (as Minnesotans always do) and we'll give
individuals more choices and more control over their own health insurance and their
own healthcare.

My Love for Russian | Slow Russian - Duration: 3:05.
When
I had just arrived to America, I tried to learn English as quickly as
possible.
I spoke English a lot, wrote, watched
videos in English, watched interviews in English,
watched movies.
That is, I devoured a lot of English, and very
little Russian, because I know Russian well and
I wanted to learn English language.
So I talked a lot and, in general, consumed English
language.
But as I learned the language, that is, I already knew English
pretty good, I still continued to talk in English.
out of habit already, that is, I did not control,
just something like that happened by itself.
I did not want it.
And then I realized, I noticed, and I realized that I need to
change this.
This is wrong, because my native language is
Russian and need to talk in Russian, after all.
I am Russian, it is necessary that I do not forget Russian.
Now, already two years, I more and more speak
Russian, writing notes in Russian, with myself
I communicate in Russian, talking often with friends, with parents,
I began to talk with my girlfriend in Russian, I started to
teach her.
I began to do more Slow Russian videos, so I can
talk to the camera in Russian.
And last, probably six months my love for the Russian language
has appeared strongly.
Probably because I started somehow to miss it,
I began to miss its use in my... well, sort of ... life.
And so I started to watch interviews, read
in Russian, and overall try to improve your Russian.
I generally speak it well, but some things can be corrected.
I can learn to speak better , It can be more eloquent
and so on.
And so, I understand, that if I teach Russian language,
I need to also learn it, too, and understand it better and
better, and to speak it better and better
and that's why I decided to reduce the use of
English when I have no one to talk.
That is, that's how my love for the Russian language has developed.

Modern healthcare Turning We the People into an indentured revenue stream for the government connect - Duration: 4:37.
Modern healthcare Turning We the People into an indentured revenue stream for the government-connected
corporate elite
by: Ethan Huff
The United States may have been founded upon principles of freedom and liberty, but the
America of today looks almost nothing like what our founders originally envisioned.
Its become a system of oppression for the average American who is now struggling to
stay afloat and simply put food on the table, let alone shell out the enormous costs associated
with medical care in the event that someone in the family gets sick.
What were seeing in America today is a burgeoning system of indentured servitude
where everyday people have become slaves to insurmountable debt, increasing bills, unsustainable
healthcare, and many other modern snares that make the rich richer and the poor poorer.
Somehow, over the course of several hundred years, we the people went from being
in charge of their own government to becoming its permanent underclass and things are
only getting progressively worse in this regard.
If youre not convinced about this, just take a look at the average hospital bill today
and ask yourself if youve got that much cash on hand for a medical emergency?
Even normal medical procedures have spiraled out of control, costing upwards of
thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars based on the insurance model of reimbursement.
Those who dont have medical insurance are, of course, expected to pay the full cost out
of pocket.
But even those with insurance are often hit hard, whether with exorbitant monthly premiums
or insanely high deductibles.
You just cant win in todays zero-sum system, which is designed to bankrupt the
average person while enriching the one percent.
Just because a person is insured, it doesnt mean he or she can actually afford their doctor,
hospital, pharmaceutical, and other medical bills, writes Helaine Olen for The Atlantic.
The point of insurance is to protect patients finances from the costs of everything from
hospitalizations to prescription drugs, but out-of-pocket spending for people even with
employer-provided health insurance has increased by more than 50 percent since 2010.
The ruling elite are robbing Americans and nobody is doing anything about it
As of this writing, the collective cost of medical care in the United States today has
topped $3.4 trillion per year.
In 2016, the average amount spent per person on medical care was $10,000.
In 2018, that figure is expected to rise sharply by 34 percent.
And by the year 2023, American society can expect to be shelling out $15,000 per person
to cover individual medical costs.
Is this truly sustainable?
Absolutely not.
It isnt even sustainable at the current rates.
And its important to remember that these are just averages that include a entire pool
of folks, many of whom dont even utilize the medical system on a regular basis.
For people with severe medical conditions like cancer or heart disease, these figures
soar even higher into astronomical territory were talking $50,000 $100,000 per
patient and even higher.
Who has this kind of money?
Recent research out of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center found that about
85 percent of heart attack patients and 75 percent of stroke patients face hospital bills
that are greater than 40 percent of their entire income after purchasing food.
And roughly 60 percent of uninsured heart attack patients face medical bills that are
higher than their entire annual income after purchasing food.
Rising health-care costs are eating up the wage gains won by American workers, who
are being asked by their employers to pick up more of the heftier tab, reports Bloomberg
about this dire situation.
The cost of buying health coverage at work has increased faster than wages and inflation
for years, pressuring household budgets.

TAX REFORM | Marsha Blackburn for Senate - Duration: 1:11.
Government never gets enough of the taxpayers' revenue.
The appetite, the insatiable appetite that government has for your money never ceases.
To achieve tax relief is vital.
And I think that keeping it to a focus of flatter rates for individual filers.
Fairness in business taxes.
And small businesses being able to use the rate that is there for corporations.
That lower rate.
20% rate.
That gives them more money to spend on that business to build their dream.
And then also simpler, it is ridiculous that 1000s of hours and billions of dollars are
spent by individuals and small businesses complying with the US tax code.
You get the burden of government off somebody's back and out of their pocketbook and what
do you do?
You free them up to dream those big dreams.
You free them up to innovate.

Time Magazine Busts Trump For Lying About Being Person Of The Year - Duration: 3:50.
One of the more ridiculous things that happened over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend was
the fact that Donald Trump tweeted out that he had been contacted by people from Time
magazine letting him know that he was probably going to be selected as Time's Person of the
Year, but he would have to go a photo shoot, to which Donald Trump said, "Hey, I'm a busy
guy.
I can't do that.
Thanks, but no thanks."
Later, in fact, short after Donald Trump tweeted all this out, Time magazine was forced to
come out and say, "Yeah, that didn't actually happen.
Donald Trump has a gross misunderstanding of how we choose Person of the Year, and we
don't talk to anyone about it until, I guess, the first week or so of December."
So, Time magazine, in a very eloquent and not at all confrontational way, told the entire
world that Donald Trump lied to everyone about being chosen probably as Person of the Year.
Now, Time magazine very easily could have just come out and said, "Yeah, you're an absolute
liar.
Nobody wants you to be Person of the Year," but they didn't.
Again, they did it a little more diplomatically than they probably should have.
But, once again, this just goes to show you just how deranged and delusional Donald Trump
has become as President of the United States.
Now, we already know that Donald Trump has a history with Time magazine.
We've had stories that have come out showing that he has covers of Time magazine hanging
in some of his golf club that are actually fraudulent.
They didn't actually happen.
They didn't feature Donald Trump.
They didn't feature Donald Trump with the text that was on there.
But, yet, he has them hanging up because they were allegedly praising him, even though they
didn't actually exist.
But Donald Trump's lie here tells us more about him as a human being than probably any
of us really wanted to know.
At this point, his lies are growing so out of control that he might not even physically
be able to differentiate fantasy from reality.
This is a dangerous human being.
Somebody who lies with such impunity, you know, just lets them flow without any kind
of filter whatsoever, that is dangerous.
And it's even more dangerous when the person doing it happens to be one of the most powerful
people because of their position on the planet.
Donald Trump is unfit to serve as President of the United States.
If you only take one thing away from this whole fiasco, that should be it.
Could you imagine what would have happened had Barack Obama tweeted something out like
that and then Time magazine had to say, "No, we didn't actually choose you"?
Or if George W. Bush had done that, had Twitter been around throughout his entire presidency?
Fox News, the other media would have jumped on this and used it every single day to prove
what an unhinged psychopath that person truly was.
Yet, here we are having Donald Trump do this pretty much on a regular basis and the media
just treats it as another, oh, that silly Trump.
It's not silly, it's not funny, it's dangerous.
That is what Donald Trump is.
He is a dangerous sociopathic, possibly psychopathic liar who happens to also be the President
of the United States.
