Waching daily Nov 1 2017

[MUSIC]

So you're gonna be trying things on for your fitting for the fashion show.

And then we're also gonna be putting you in some looks for a photo shoot today.

>> My gosh.

>> Dia really is about the fashion and the style of the woman whom we serve.

Dia is committed to moving fashion forward, and to really creating the most

beautiful, comprehensive representations of fashion, at all sizes.

[MUSIC]

>> Curvy Con is basically where women of all shapes and

sizes come together to celebrate curvy women.

And you have bloggers, fashionistas, and I get to participate in it this year,

which is people.

>> Nia is an unapologetic, fierce, fashionable woman who is powerful and

confident in her own body.

And that's exactly what we love and respect at Dia.

>> I'm really excited because everybody here gets to see me in a different light,

in a more glamorous state.

Because they always see me in that, just beating up girls and brooding.

But there is also a different, glamorous, girly side to me.

And I think it would be cool for them to see it.

[MUSIC]

>> Day two, New York Fashion Week.

We are currently at the Curvy Con.

We're getting ready for the Dia&Co runway show.

[MUSIC]

>> My gosh. The runway show with all the beautiful

women here of all shapes, and sizes, races, colors.

I think it was just the most amazing thing.

>> [MUSIC]

>> The runway show was fantastic.

Nia absolutely crushed it on the runway, and I think she won the runway tonight.

She was serious, she got the crowd's attention and she rocked the velvets.

[MUSIC]

But I do wanna show that just because I am a bigger girl and

I am different, that I am beautiful as well as everybody else.

Obviously, my heart is definitely with WWE no matter what, but

this is a pretty cool aspect of me that I hope everybody can see it and enjoy.

(music) Tyler: "I hope that the research I do makes

a difference.

I'm very thankful to be at a university like Albany where we're open to these innovative

opportunities to actually engage the public."

Andrew: "We're in the Albany County Jail and we're just, you know, meeting some inmates

who are also parents who have kids back home."

Tyler: "I'm Tyler."

Inmate: "Hi Tyler."

Andrew: "And we're just audio recording them reading to their kids."

Inmate: "Lila the ladybug lived in a rose..."

Andrew: "And then we're going to edit those recordings later and mail those off to wherever

their child lives.

It's to try to invoke the purpose of the program and that's to kinda foster attachments.

And so this kinda puts the parent in the home almost."

Tyler: "There's this gap between researchers and the communities and populations that we're

researching.

So I think that Albany's moving in the direction where we're providing opportunities for scholars

and future scholars to close that gap."

TRUMP ON WW3 ALERT: Putin lands in Iran in bid for nuclear deal - Duration: 4:00.

TRUMP ON WW3 ALERT: Putin lands in Iran in bid for nuclear deal

The summit aims to bring the United State's two rivals closer together as they work on a variety of different issues.  Mr Putin and his Iranian hosts are expected to discuss the controversial and endangered 2015 Iran nuclear deal and regional crises such as the Syrian conflict, in which and Tehran are the main backers of President Bashar al-Assad.

Washington, Turkey and most Arab states, however, support opposition groups seeking to overthrow him.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said: "We are very pleased that, apart from our bilateral relations, our two countries play an important role in securing peace and stability in the region.".

The most important issue for both states, however, will be the threat posed by Donald Trump and the USA - particularly with regards to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

Mr Trump slated Tehran during his election campaign and has now threatened not to renew the deal, which he said was one of the worst ever made.

Moscow is an important ally for Iran in its confrontation with the Trump administration and has criticised the move strongly.

Mr Trump's decision has opened a 60-day window for Congress to reimpose economic sanctions on Iran. These were lifted under the 2015 accord in return for Tehran curbing its nuclear programme.

One Tehran official said: "This is a very important visit. It shows the determination of Tehran and Moscow to deepen their strategic alliance which will shape the future of the Middle East.

Both Russia and Iran are under American pressure. Tehran has no other choice but to rely on Moscow to ease the U.S. pressure." . Another official said America's aggressive Iran policy had united Irans faction-ridden leadership in alignment with Russia.

Russia has already pledged support for the Iran deal - even if the USA pulls out.  The Iranian offical said: "We are going to support this deal.

We are going to support the deal concluded with the previous US administration, although as you know we had many differences with them on other issues.

"It is not Russia that defines or predetermines that Iran is in compliance with its commitments, that is for the IAEA.

According to IAEA reports, as of now all other countries are in compliance." "We are very much respectful of the national interests of Iran." During his visit, Mr Putin will also discuss boosting bilateral economic ties, and will take part in a three-way summit between Russia, Iran and neighbouring Azerbaijan, state TV said.

Can President Trump take credit for West Virginia's growth? - Duration: 2:00.

One thing that I'm very proud of the state of West Virginia.

Last month, it was one of the highest increases, percentage increases, in GDP

the state of Texas beat it and people say, "Wait a minute

West Virginia just came in second."

You know what that's about

that's about cutting regulations and letting the people go and mine.

West Virginia's economic growth can largely

be attributed to an increased production

in two industries: coal and natural gas.

Spurred by an increased demand for

metallurgical coal across the Asia-Pacific

and in Australia, the state's

mining industry grew 26.4% in the first quarter of 2017.

This increase coincided with a rise and prices for both coal and

natural gas. The price of metallurgical coal

exports was $153 per short ton

up from $76 in the third quarter of 2016.

In the first nine months of 2017,

the price of natural gas was $3.50 more on average

than in 2016.

The president would have you believe decreased

regulation led to the increase in production of metallurgical coal.

And consequently, West Virginia's GDP increase.

But many of Trump's newly

loosed in regulations on mining and coal, have yet to go into effect.

Taking credit for economic advances where no credit is

due seems to be a habit for Trump.

We award the president Four Pinocchios.
