hey there it's must-have Monday and
today we are talking about an oil that
will not only help you a get rid of
yucky odors in your house in your car
and other places but it is also one that
is beneficial for your skin and that oil
is purification of from young living so
let's talk a little bit more about it
hey guys it's Natalie with living the
oil life thank you for taking a few
minutes out of your busy day to join us
and like I said it is must-have Monday
and we're talking about purification oil
which most of us with young living are
very familiar with because it comes in
the premium starter kit when you enroll
and it comes in the five milliliter
bottle with other ten little amazing
oils also but often times we use an oil
and then we don't use it all the time so
sometimes we forget about it it sits on
a shelf we're not quite sure what to do
with it but purification is an oil that
you are definitely going to want to have
for summer now it is a blend with young
Livie which means there is more than one
oil in here there at are actually six
and those oils are citronella myrtle
lemongrass lavender rosemary and tea
tree oil and we know how amazing all six
of those oils are and you put them
together and you have an even more
amazing blend it is an aromatic topical
oil so that you can use it in your
diffuser you can inhale it you can spray
it and or you can use it topically on
your skin and to me the aroma is very
bright it's a very crisp it's very
uplifting and I can smell mostly
lemongrass in it I smell a little bit of
the citronella I do smell a little bit
of the tea tree but I really don't smell
the lavender in it it's a very faint but
I love this oil now the great thing
about purification is that it doesn't
just mask the odors like a lot of
commercial store brand fresheners
they really don't get rid of the odor
they just kind of mask it and you are
breathing in all of those harsh
chemicals that are in your fresheners
are in your air fresheners and those can
cause respiratory issues they can cause
headaches they can cause all kinds of
yucky stuff that you really don't want
you want crisp clean fresh air and
that's why you want to use purification
now some of the ways that you can use it
are in your laundry it can help you to
get rid of those gross dryer sheets that
also are full of harsh chemicals that go
into your clothes and then while you're
wearing your clothes that gets on to
your skin and we don't want that dewy so
all you need to do is put a few drops on
a wet cloth on a wet t-shirt if you use
the dryer balls the wool dryer balls you
can put a couple of drops on that and it
will not only help to freshen your
laundry but it will help you get rid of
more toxins out of your house you can
also use it on your dogs on your pets I
use this for my dog all the time because
he goes outside and he stinks when he
comes in so I have a little I should
have gotten it I will either spray it
directly on his brush or I have this
little hand map that you put on your
hand and it has a smooth side and a
little rough side and I'll spray it on
there and just rub him down and then
every once awhile if he's not too too
stinky I'll just put it on my hands and
rub it all over him and it smells so
much better than a stinky dog speaking
of dogs you can use it within the barns
I know a lot of people use it with their
horses they diffuse it in the barns and
apparently the horses love it and people
love it because it smells so wonderful
you can put two drops on cotton balls
put them on in your sneakers put them in
the drug gym bags in the soccer bags in
the hockey bags all kinds of stuff where
odors can be heat lurking use
purification in there you can use it as
a carpet deodorizer we have done the
making takes where we take a little
parmesan a shaker bottle and fill it
with a cup of baking soda and then about
10 to 15 drops of purification shake it
up make sure you put something on top so
that the holes shake it up
wrinkle it on your carpet let it sit for
about 10-15 minutes and then vacuum it
up and you've got a fresh carpet it is
also great as a carrier with a carrier
oil for a foot massage and another great
way to use for your skin is add it to
animal scents or your favorite lotion
your favorite clean lotion and it can
help to moisturize your skin and improve
the appearance of a healthy-looking skin
you can also use it for non cystic acne
every once in a while we know that
things can pop up because of stress the
foods that we eat things that we're
going through that kind of thing
purification put a little drop of
purification on your face if you have
very sensitive skin make sure you use a
carrier oil and with teenagers it would
be helped to reduce the appearance of
blemishes but you can use it neat by
itself also people have used it as
deodorant I have not but I hear that
they've used a deodorant you can also
use it when you're shaving too sometimes
you get that little bit of razor burn
and you can help to soothe that a little
bit you can add it to your Young Living
bath and gel or your favorite clean body
gel and use it during a bath or if you
want a nice soothing relaxing bath you
can put it in a cup of Epsom salt add a
little bit of the purification let it
sit let it marinate for a little bit and
then sprinkle that in your bath and have
a wonderful soothing bath that way now
in the kitchen it is great for cooking
especially people are fishing a lot now
and you're frying and you're cooking
fish and it can really stink up the
house diffuse the purification as you
are cooking or if you've cooked
something a little bit too long it would
be great to diffuse purification then
you can also put a few drops on a cotton
ball stick it on the bottom in the
bottom of your trashcan or spritz some
in there when you change your trash can
liner it is also great to diffuse before
and after company comes just to give
your home a little bit of a freshness if
you're going on vacation take some with
you because you never know what your
hotel room is your condo or anything
like that is going to smell like and
then.we
you get back from vacation make sure you
have a couple of drops of purification
ready to go in your diffuser because
when we know we've been gone for a while
we come in and the house kind of smells
a little bit stale so you want to make
sure you have your diffuser ready to go
with purification in the car it is great
to put in your USB or your travel
diffuser especially when you're picking
up kids from camp from summer camp from
practices from being outside and playing
and they are stinking you can make sure
you defuse that in the car to kind of
dispel those odors so you're not
stinking everybody up and it's an also
an important oil to have when you're
going to those games or you're going out
you're having barbecues you're going to
be outside for a long time purification
is the perfect oil to have to have an
annoyance free outside time I will take
it and put it in a spray bottle you can
use a spray bottle like this this is
kind of a small one there's of course
different sizes but put a few drops in
here with a little bit of water some
people like to add witch hazel or a
little bit of salt to keep it emulsified
but just give it a little bit of a shake
and spray all over yourself on your
clothes on your body everywhere when
you're hiking camping sitting out at
games anytime there can be those little
annoyances around you make sure you have
your purification on hand and speaking
of the little annoyances I have used
purification when I've gone outside and
I'm only outside for like a couple of
minutes getting something go even just
going to the car to get something and
all of a sudden you're just attacked and
I come in and I'm red and I'm itchy and
it's just oh irritating me I'll just
take my purification oil and rub it on
there and that itchiness from is gone
within a few minutes and I love that I
don't have to rely on anything with a
lot of bad chemicals in it to help get
rid of that that little irritation and
so while you're barbecuing having your
picnic you're out on the porch or
whatever make sure you have your
diffuser going or you could even
probably put like some bowls out with a
little bit of baking soda and a little
bit of purification oil in there
just surround yourself with it and if
you're doing summer projects and you're
getting ready to repaint rooms repaint
your house whatever I've heard that
people have actually put purification in
their paint cans and that helps to cut
down on the paint fumes that you may be
smelling that are not very good for you
either now it also will help to dispel
any negative or chaotic energy that may
be in the house or or in your office or
anywhere any tension sometimes you walk
in a room and you can just feel the
tension you could just cut it with a
knife and so a purification would be
great to diffuse then or use your DIY
room spray with water and about 15-20
drops of purification and then just
spritz the room down I don't think you
need to spritz the people down but if
they have some a lot of negative energy
you may want to spritz them too and just
say oh I just would do smug no just
kidding
so those are the different ways that you
can use purification oil the best part
is it is only 1875 wholesale that's it
1875 and this little bottle will
probably last me through the summer time
