Mamey Sapote Tips — Shopping for Fruit in Tulum, Mexico — What Robby Ate #15 - Duration: 9:49.

Robby: It is Monday, April 24.

I'm in Tulum for this guy's wedding.

Cyrus: What's up?

Robby: There he is.

Cyrus: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

Five days to go.

Robby: We are chillin,' enjoying life.

Look at this view, guys.

I don't know if you can see that, but the ocean is right there.

We're about to go snorkeling and actually he's going diving because

he's like a scuba diver.

Cyrus: That's right.

Robby: Like legit.

Cyrus: We're going to a cenote.

Robby: I woke up this morning and I ws 87 or something.

I'm 77 right now.

I took 1.5 for the dawn phenomenon.

I'm probably going to eat this mamey, maybe bring a mango or two, and

that's going to be breakfast.

We're walking to the snorkeling place.

We're very close.

I took insulin for the dawn phenomenon again.

I did 1.5 today so I'm snacking on a banana.

Dexcom says I'm 71.

It's a good banana.

Wow!

We're at the snorkeling place getting all set up and then they're gonna drive us to

a cenote.

It's 8:47, so we're doing all this swimming so

I'm going to be super conservative.

I do not want to go low while I'm out snorkeling, so I have dates

with me.

So I've got all this mamey, bananas right here, so I'm just going to inject like 4 units,

which is crazy low.

But 4 units, that should be safe.

I'm going to eat all that fruit and I'll check myself before I go in the water.

Okay, so I'm eating a mamey right now.

It's one of the greatest fruits on the planet.

It's so good.

So I just injected and I'm eating right away.

I'm not waiting.

I'm already a little bit low and I really want to get higher.

I'm moving on to bananas and starting to get a little nervous that 3.5 may have been too

much.

But I brought dates, so I'll see what happens and I'll definitely test before I go into

the water.

We have arrived at the snorkeling destination.

Dexcom says I'm 162 and going up, so you see exactly how high it is right now.

This is like day 10 of the Dexcom, so you can't expect it to be

super reliable when you use it beyond what the company tells you to use.

150.

Wow.

I only took 3.5 units.

I'll probably snack on a few more dates just to be safe.

We're about to go out.

I'm not going to bring my phone.

I'm not going to bring my insulin kit, so I'm going to eat like 8 or 9

dates just to be safe.

I'll be super high, but it's all good.

I'm going to be moving in the water.

Where do you go?

Cyrus: In the back.

Robby: 129.

Okay, we're doing good.

The dates I had beforehand were key, so I'm happy with

that.

Dexcom says I was shooting up and I tested myself.

It was 181, so I'm going to take 1.5 to correct this situation.

So we are at fruit market #1.

We were biking around yesterday, so we know what's going on,

where the good stuff is.

We got a taxi driver today.

He's going to drive us to all the stands and we're going to go big today.

We're excited.

So this is sapodilla -- also known as chiko sapote.

And this is a different variety, and we'll see it

at a couple other markets.

You can tell that the skin is super smooth.

Mamey sapote right here.

Manzano bananas.

Atualfo mangos.

Heidy mangos.

Tara: And these are meileias.

Robby: This is called the scratch test, okay?

When you're buying mamey, you do a little scratch.

That is green.

That will not ripen.

It needs to be deep red.

I'm not buying that one.

This one already has some soft, some give.

That one's gonna be good.

This one has a little too much give.

I'm not gonna buy that.

You don't want it to pocket.

So we're good Tara, right?

Tara: We're great!

Tara and Robby: They don't know right now.

Robby: It's okay.

We're grateful for when it does know.

We're buying some more mamey here.

See that color on there?

That's a successful scratch test.

Dexcom is looking for an update.

We're going to update.

131.

I'm happy with that.

The 1.5 correction after the snorkeling and when the

Dexcom said I was going up and I tested at 180,

that 1.5 correction was good.

I'm hungry.

I can't wait to get back.

We got all this food and we're going to have a feast.

We're back.

We're super excited.

I'm ready to eat, so we got all this food.

I know I got a mamey that's ripe.

I know I have mangos that are ripe, so I'm going to do some calculations and take

some insulin.

Dexcom says I'm at 111 right now.

I'm just going to inject 7.5 right now.

I'm really hungry and I need some dense fruit, so I'm going to have

mamey and mangos.

Maybe a couple bananas.

But I'm going to measure it all out as I eat it

and then I'll figure out what the ratio was afterwards and

then decide if I need more food or more insulin.

We've got to tare the scale, put it all on here,

out this in the compost bag.

Mamey is a very dense fruit.

Tara, what does mamey taste like?

Tara: Mamey sapote is like sweet potato with pumpkin with cherry with a hint of almond

that's sweet, amazing, and delicious.

Robby: It's so good, guys.

I'm going to add some mango here.

Measure the scraps and then I'll calculate the numbers and see how many carbs

it had.

So lunch ending up being 229 grams of carbs, so divide that by 7.5 is 31:1 ratio and I

felt pretty good about that.

Dexcom has been pretty solid right there, so I'm going to do a check right now

just to make sure it's not going up too much.

The meter says 103, so I'm good.

At some point, it's going t start creeping up a little bit

probably.

I don't know if I'm going to do a snack or if I'm

going to eat dinner.

So Cyrus just comes up to me while we were working on the computer and is like, "Do you

wanna work out?"

Um, yeah.

Of course.

I tested myself.

I'm 100.

Dexcom says I'm 109 going down.

This is a time when usually getting close to dinner I haven't taken insulin for a while

so I might take a little insulin and a little snack,

but I'm actually feeling kind of that it's going to be

okay if I just do nothing.

So I'll work out and maybe have a date or two, but I'm not going to

do anything.

Back from the work out.

Just tested myself.

The meter says I'm 66.

Dexcom says I'm 62.

So I'm still pretty happy with the accuracy of the

Dexcom.

I'm going to keep it in.

I'm going to eat really soon, so I'm going to take 4 units of Humalog.

For dinner, I will inject 15 Lantis.

I'm going to stick with 15 Lantis right now.

That's what I did yesterday.

It worked well today.

And then I'm going to enjoy a beautiful dinner.

The sun is starting to set here.

I just cut up this mango.

It was 342 grams.

Because I started off 66, I'm going to eat that right away.

But the insulin I injected isn't going to work immediately.

It's going to kick in a little bit, so it's part

of the whole insulin timing game.

You practice, you get better.

Everybody's unique.

You have to work on this through experience.

So I just cut up my second bowl of mango, 690 grams right there, so I'll start by snacking

on that while I cut up some papaya.

I got a papaya, 560 grams.

It's looking good.

Look at the color on that.

Tara is sharing some of her mamey.

I'm going to measure it out and that will be everything.

Then I'll calculate the carbs.

Okay.

Quick update here.

We're going to go out with a group of people here that are here for the wedding,

so I wanted to eat my fruit before I went.

So that's what I'm doing.

That's what dinner is.

I calculated the carbs in this cool app called Nutrino.

It was 182 so I took 4 units.

That's 25:1 ratio so I'm good with that.

Dexcom has me right there.

I actually happy with that.

We should be just fine.

We'll see how I do at this restaurant.

I ordered a plate of just raw vegetables with extra

cauliflower.

Love it.

I'm back at the hotel.

We had a great dinner.

Tested myself.

I'm 134 and Dexcom says 142, so still pretty accurate.

And I'm going to take 0.5 units.

Chocolate Cheesecake Keto Brownies | Low Carb Brownies Recipes - Duration: 9:12.

today I'm going to show you how to make

these chocolate cheesecake brownies this

recipe was an old favourite of mine from

a Nigella Lawson cookbook. I

cooked these for years when I was first

married and lately I've been thinking about

them and thinking I wonder if I can make

them Keto, so I looked at the recipe, I

played around with the volumes and was making

sure that they are low carb keto friendly and I

got it, so I'm going to share that recipe with

you today and check out down below for

the link for the recipe that you can

print out yourself and I'll also leave the

link to the Nigella recipe book that this

comes from because it is one of my

all-time favorites, so let's get straight

into the recipe first we're going to

melt together 100 grams of dark

chocolate and 100 grams of butter that's

three and a half ounces of each and you

can use the darkest chocolate that you

can find depending also on your dietary

requirements but if your low-carb, wanting to

make sure this is low-carb keto go for

the highest percentage of chocolate that

you can and we're just going to melt

these together the chocolate is melted

look at that pool of chocolate and butter

yum yum, now you're going to move this

aside to cool down and we'll get on and

mix all the rest of our ingredients

together okay and we've got our mixing

bowl I've popped two eggs in there we just

going to give it a little whisk and now

just sweetness I'm using stevia you can

use whatever sweetness you like that

agrees with you if sugar agrees with you

then pop sugar in I don't use sugar I

use, where's my stevia, over there,

there organic stevia that's what I use

and I find for myself two tablespoons of

sweetness is more than enough, it's sweet

enough with this chocolate, I'm happy, if you

want to add more or you could add a

quarter of a cup, as much or as

little as you like and it's your recipe

so your sweetness as sweet as you like,

so we added the sugar we'll give that a

little whisk in and we're going to now

add in a pinch of salt just

remember the recipe willl be down

below so you can print it out and with

all the adaptations and make it your

own brownies and we can also add in a

teaspoon of vanilla and give it a good

whisk yeah what we're going to do is

pour our chocolate in I'm going to work

quite quickly so you don't scramble eggs

and make sure that it's cool,

chocolate going int, oh yeah and give it a

good whisk through, smells so good,

these are proper dense brownies, I'm moving my mat

all over the place, okay and now for

flour I am using coconut flour oh yeah

that's beautiful and thick we do not

over beat I am using coconut flour and

you're going to add a quarter of a cup

one tablespoon at a time okay I've

measured out my coconut flour I've got a

quarter of a cup but I find it's best to

kind of add a little bit at a time about

a tablespoon or so at a time and whisk

it in because you find coconut flour is

super super absorbent and it kind of I

feel needs time to kind of blend

together with the other ingredients I

can see it as a smooth, add another

tablespoon and just keep doing that

until all of your coconut flour is used

up and if you've added all your coconut

flour, coconut flour

it's a tricky ingredient it really is

you add all your coconut flour and you

look and it still looks really super

super dense and wet add another

tablespoon, add another tablespoon

or so at a time until it is it looks

like a nice brownie batter and on the

other side if you finish mixing

everything then you find it it's too dry

add an egg, one or the other it's

it's too dry or too wet that is what you

do add a bit more flour or a bit more

egg and then you've got look at this

perfect brownie mixture ah smells so

good okay now we're just going to pop it

into our greased oven dish, all of a

sudden got crazy sunny in my kitchen so

there are some fun shadows happening,

anyway I've got my baking dish, I've popped

heaps of butter in it and now we can

just begin to take half of the brownie

mixeture, of course if you just want to make

plain brownies, sticks this in the pan, but I'm

going to pop half the mixture into my

pan into my dish move that aside,

we're just going to, doesn't really look

like much but it is a bottom layer of

brownie here so we just fill the bottom here

with our brownie mixture and then we are

going to fill it with cream cheese make

a whole cream cheese layer this is so

fun to make and to enjoy okay so we're

going to pop that aside and now we're

going to add cream cheese it's up to you

how much you want to add you can add

from 125 grams to 250 grams so from half

a stick to a whole stick of cream cheese

my hands this really is sunny isn't it

and I'm going to get the cream cheese

and I'll show you what I mean so my

cream cheese came in this really

interesting shape and it's up to you how

you want to cut the shape of your cream

cheese to go in let me show you, so take

cream cheese like that little side over

there and just cut it into little pieces

and then it's up to you if you want to

have this whole layer full of cream

cheese, well how I like to do it and you

take imagine with 16 brownies or so and

you give each little piece a big chunk

of cream cheese like that

there's wait till the end you'll see

what I'm getting at so we just

distribute little interesting pieces of

cheese all around I'm just doing quite

the right way but we'll just cut the

cheese here there anyhow and we'll just

fill up the dish with the cream cheese

it's really looking like a mess but I

know what I'm doing okay so we just fill

up that side, you see what I'm doing some

pieces get a bit more you could fill the

entire layer with cream cheese that's

what I mean that you could use 125 grams

or you could use the whole 250 grams the

whole package and just fill it with all

the cream cheese and if you want extra

cream cheese you can just dot more

along here so that's why it's kind of

difficult to give an exact

measurements I think I need just a

smidge bit more this cream cheese I mean

on low-carb keto use cream cheese for

everything so I am quite happy with that

cream cheese distribution and now we're

going to pop the second layer of

chocolate on I've got my brownie mixture

front and centre and now we're going to add

the rest of the mixture on top of the

cream cheese so it's kind of sandwich in

brownies with cream cheese in the middle

it's just so good

remember to check down below for the

recipe how to make these and follow

along print out the recipe and go for it

okay so we're just going to this gently

as possible, I am not the most patient

and most gentlest of bakers, I have not

much patience but there we go look at...

get all the chocolate off...yum... and so now what

you're going to find is every single

bite will have a bite of cream cheese in

the middle and so they're like cheese

brownies that's what they are to me yeah

okay so now it's going to go into our

oven which is preheated to 180

degrees Celsius or 350

Fahrenheit and that's going to go in for

about 20 minutes and I'll show you when

they're ready right it's come out the

oven it smells amazing you can see ah so

good now and leaving it to cool will

firm it up a little bit because it's

nice and gooey you could have this as a

warm pudding either

yum yum I'm going to let it cool down

and once it's cooled I'll cut it up and

show you what the inside looks like okay

so I've cut them into pieces we've got

about let's see fifteen pieces there are

not all quite exactly the same okay

let's pull one out and see what it looks

like inside, right I pull one out look at

that you can see the brownie inside

there the brownie the cheese the cream

cheese cheesecake sorry oh this is such

a yummy recipe I'm so glad I decided to

adapt it and I might even do that with

some of my other favorites but I am a

massive Nigella Lawson fan I have all of

her cookbooks and there's so many

recipes of those I've cooked for years

and years and years over and over and

over again

and I'm going to attempt to make some of

them Keto and if you got any requests let

me know in the comments and I will have

an experiment and see so remember to

check down below for the full recipe

printable recipe and link to the

Nigella book that it comes from and

loads more information so thanks so much

Ballet - hope for success (Eng subs) - Duration: 2:14.

Today is a significant date for Russian ballet.

It's the Anniversary of Anna Pavlova's birth, the great Russian ballerina.

Novosibirsk has its own unique school that combines ballet traditions of both Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

How stars are born, just in a moment…

These children are like putty in teacher's hands.

Famous ballet masters create their students from A to Z.

Natural abilities are essential, technique will come after years of practice.

It doesn't always happen that only truly gifted kids become ballet stars.

Sometimes a child has average abilities, but amazing mind

Then the child can certainly hope for success.

Plies, battements, exhausting work at the barre provide the basis for structured stage numbers.

A lot depends on the body memory.

These future ballet stars are no strangers to discipline, since their childhood.

Willpower is your must-have quality. Then diligence is also required.

You can't do without hard work.

Great ballerinas are born every 20 years.

Only 4 Russian ballet schools can cut these diamonds nowadays.

The one of Novosibirsk stands out with a unique method.

The ballet of Siberia is a synthesis of Moscow and Saint Petersburg dance academies.

Not without a reason are our dancers in great demand both in Russia and worldwide.

Our leading ballerina, Anna Zharova, and our recent graduate Semen Chudin, who is a world star now,

they have received the National ballet award called "The Star".

Almost the entire troupe of our Opera and Ballet theater comprises graduates of this school.

Little ballerinas almost immediately get involved into crowed performances

or as back-up dancers of main characters

Their dream is happening, and years of effort fly faster, especially when you see your goal from the window.

Jeep Wrangler JK Mopar All-Weather Floor Mats - Duration: 1:09.

Hi, this is Collin with midwestpartsdepot.com.

Today we're going to go over the installation of all-weather mats for your 2017 Jeep Wrangler

JK.

Some of the benefits of these are, they will hold dirt and water, say if you're out, track

stuff in with your shoes, compared to the normal carpet it would all stain it and you

can't wash those out very easily.

They're just hard to clean, whereas these, you can pull them out of the vehicle and spray

them of with a power wash or at a car wash.

Durability, they're made out of hard molded rubber.

You're not going to break these.

They fit precisely into your vehicle, they're molded specifically for the foot wells of

GASOLINE.

>> $0.17!

AND A GUY NAMED BRUCE

SPRINGSTEEN WAS BORN, FRANK

SINATRA AND GENE KELLY STARTED

IN A MUSICAL CALLED ON THE

TOWN, BUT THERE'S SOMETHING

ELSE THAT HAPPENED THE WAY

DELMARVA WOULD BE ENTERTAINED.

THE SEAFORD COMMUNITY CONCERT

ASSOCIATION OPENED ITS DOORS.

IT IS STILL GOING STRONG TODAY.

HERE DETAILS MORE ABOUT IT IS

THE ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT,

DAVID GRANTZ AND BOARD MEMBER,

FERN MORRISON.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR JOINING

US TODAY.

>> THANK YOU.

>> GIVE US AN OVERVIEW OF THE

ASSOCIATION.

VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION

DEDICATED TO BRINGING QUALITY

LIVE PERFORMANCE TO PEOPLE WHO

LOVE MUSIC AT PRICES THAT ARE

AFFORDABLE TO MOST PEOPLE, SO

THAT IS THE FIRST PART OF OUR

MISSION.

WE ALSO HAVE A MISSION OF

INTRODUCING YOUNG PEOPLE TO

DIFFERENT FORMS OF MUSIC THAT

THEY MIGHT TYPICALLY HEAR SO WE

WORK CLOSELY WITH THE SCHOOLS.

>> AND NOW, YOU MENTIONED THAT

YOU ARE VOLUNTEER, SO YOU ARE

ALL VOLUNTEERS?

CHRIST WE ARE PAID WITH

BASICALLY A STIPEND, BUT

EVERYTHING ELSE IS COMPLETELY

100 PERCENT VOLUNTEER CHRIST SO

YOU PARTNER WITH THE SEAFORD

SCHOOL DISTRICT?

>> YES.

>> TELL ME MORE ABOUT THAT.

>> WILL, WE HAVE BEEN INVOLVED

FOR THE SEAFORD SCHOOL DISTRICT

SINCE THE BEGINNING, DONE IN

WHAT IS NOW THE SEAFORD HIGH

SCHOOL, WE MOVED INTO THE

AUDITORIUM THERE.

SINCE THEN IT HAS BEEN A GREAT

RELATIONSHIP.

WE HELP THEM FOR EXAMPLE, THE

GRAND PIANO ON THE STAGE IN THE

STAGE EQUIPMENT, WE EITHER

PURCHASED OR WE HELPED

PURCHASE.

ALLOWING US TO USE THE

FACILITY.

WE WORK VERY CLOSELY WITH A LOT

OF PEOPLE AT THE SEAFORD SCHOOL

DISTRICT.

IT IS A GOOD COMBINATION THERE.

WE GET SOME STUDENTS WHO CAN

ACTUALLY DO LIKE INTERNSHIPS.

THEY CAN WORK WITH THE ARTIST

WHO COME AND SO IF YOU HAVE

STUDENTS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN

PERFORMING STUFF LIKE THAT.

THAT IS SOMETHING WE DO.

>> AND FERN, YOU ARE A BOARD

MEMBER, AND I WOULD OBVIOUSLY

VENTURE THAT YOU LOVE MUSIC?

>> I DO.

THE FUNNY THING IS WHEN THEY

ASKED ME TO JOIN THIS GROUP, I

SAID WAIT A MINUTE.

I DON'T PLAY AN INSTRUMENT.

DON'T READ MUSIC.

AND I DEFINITELY DON'T SING.

I REALLY DO HAVE AN INTEREST IN

MUSIC.

I THINK THE MOST IMPORTANT

THING FOR US IS WE ARE STILL

HERE 68 YEARS LATER.

>> YEAH.

>> AND WE HAVE ALMOST 800

MEMBERS EACH AND EVERY YEAR.

>> REALLY?

>> I THINK HAS A LOT TO DO WITH

OUR PRICING AND THE WAY THAT A

CONCERTS OR SET OF.

KIND OF CONCERTS DO YOU DO?

>> WE RUN THE GAMUT.

WE DO A CIRCUS, WE DO SOME

COUNTRY-WESTERN, WE DEFINITELY

DO MORE CLASSICAL THINGS.

SO SUCCESSFUL.

WE ARE COMING UP NEXT TUESDAY

TO OUR LAST CONCERT OF THE

YEAR.

WE HAVE HAD FOR SUCCESSES.

NOBODY WALKED OUT OR

COMPLAINED.

[LAUGHTER]

>> IT WAS WONDERFUL.

>> AND WHAT IS THIS?

>> THIS IS OUR NEW BROCHURE.

IF YOU WANT OPEN IT UP, IT

SHOWS ALL OF OUR UPCOMING

PERFORMERS AND IT GIVES A

LITTLE DESCRIPTION OF EACH ONE.

THEY ARE AVAILABLE ALL OVER THE

PLACE OR YOU CAN GO TO OUR

WEBSITE AND GET IT FROM THE

WEBSITE, AND WE WILL SEND IT TO

YOU.

>> THERE'S ONE MORE PAGE CHRIST

THERE IS EVEN MORE!

LOOK AT THIS!

CHRIST TELL ME ABOUT THE

PROCESS OF SELECTING ARTISTS.

>> IT IS A FUN PROCESS FOR THE

BOARD.

WHAT WE DO IS WE SEND

DELEGATIONS TO NASHVILLE EVERY

YEAR.

WE SEE 30 X IN 2 AND A HALF

DAYS.

>> OH.

>> IT IS VERY INTENSE.

THE DELEGATION THE GOES OR

COMES BACK AND SHARE NOTES WITH

THE BOARD, WHAT WE LIKE.

AND THEN, A REPRESENTATIVE FROM

THE COMPANY THAT WE WORK WITH

IS LIVE ON STAGE AND COMES TO

VISIT US.

WE GO THROUGH VIDEOS OF ALL OF

THESE GUYS AND WE THINK IN

TERMS OF WHAT IS HER AUDIENCE

LIKELY WHEN I FIRST BECAME

PRESIDENT, WE DID A POLL AND

FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS UNANIMOUS

FOR EVERYTHING.

[LAUGHTER]

>> SO WE PICK A VARIETY.

[LAUGHTER]

>> WE HAVE SOMETHING ROOTED IN

CLASSICAL, BUT ALSO BIG BAND

AND JAZZ.

>> SO, WHAT YOU HOPE PEOPLE

WILL GAIN FOR THE ASSOCIATION?

>> I THINK WHAT PEOPLE GAIN IS

AN ENJOYABLE EVENING OUT.

IT IS SOMETHING YOU WON'T SEE

IN MOST OTHER VENUES AROUND

HERE.

>> IN OUR PERFORMERS ARE

PROFESSIONALS, ALL VERY

PROFESSIONAL.

>> AND REALLY, FOR THE PRICES

WE CHARGE, IT IS A CHEAP DATE,

Students give back for National Volunteer Week - Duration: 0:38.

The service leaders of the office of

civic engagement and leadership hosted a

"Hunger Banquet" on April 25th as part of

National Volunteer Week. So community service

has always been really important to me

in my life I've done it as

long as I can remember and that's one

reason why I did this job. But the

importance of the hire banquet is kind

of informing students about the

community and issues that the community is

faced with and ways that they can help make

their community better and starting within the community and working the way out
