Hornskov København is a small family owned business where we do
custom made hats by measure and request of our customers,
whom are from all over the world.
THE HATTER PROFESSION HAS BEEN PRACTICED IN DENMARK SINCE THE 1500s.
I have always been very fascinated by hats, starting from
from when i was little and watched Indiana Jones on television.
And I've always been fascinated by the way a hat
can help to express, who you are as a person.
HISTORICALLY THE HAT HAS BEEN A MEANS OF DISPLAYING SOCIAL CLASS AND WEALTH.
The hat becomes a part of me, For example, I can't take out the garbage
without wearing my hat.
I need to have it on,
it would be like going out without pants on for me.
I've never really known, what I wanted to do.
I've had an incredible number of interests sometimes way too many.
But along the way I came across this hat-making.
I was at a concert where I was sitting outside and having a beer with a mate.
He shows me a video, where someone makes a hat.
Just seeing how something I've held dear, a hat that is,
how it was made, I did something to me.
I almost become obsessed.
I almost become obsessed with finding out how,
how this hat is made.

There is no longer any hat-maker education in Denmark,
or in Europe for that matter.
I've grown up being told, that you can do whatever you want.

So when I found out that I had to learn everything myself,

I took over my girlfriend's apartment and transformed it into a hat workshop,
and so I spend half a year, where I spend every waking hour

About six hours a day or something on YouTube.
I've lost count of how many hats I've destroyed,
how many hats I've taken apart to find out how
how the hat was composed. And how much money I've spent
on materials that have ended up in the bin because
the product didn't turn out good enough. But it's part of the process of learning.
To make mistakes.
You won't get better, if you do not fail.
So it's important not to give up just because there's something you can't do
Then it's just keep going.

Although the game got away from the Hornets in the fourth quarter, there was still the
matter of Kemba Walker attempting to pass Dell Curry as the franchise's career scoring
leader.
After a sluggish three quarters, Walker scored 11 points in the fourth, including a reverse
layup with 20 seconds left to break Curry's mark of 9,839 points.
"I wasn't supposed to be here," the 6-foot-1, 184-pound Walker told the crowd moments after
the game ended.
"... Anything is possible.
If I can do it, anybody can."
Walker had to grab a towel to wipe away tears after breaking the record.
James approached Walker at midcourt as time expired, gave him a huge hug and whispered
congratulations in his ear, telling him it was an incredible accomplishment.
"Listen, if you can be the all-time leading scorer in any franchise, that's incredible,"
James said.
"That's an incredible feat.
I definitely went over and just told him how incredible that was.
Even though with the season that they're having, when accomplishments happen throughout

Jordan, who was not at the game, issued a statement through the team saying he was happy
for Walker.
"Becoming a franchise's all-time leading scorer is a big accomplishment and it's
a testament to his hard work, dedication and passion for the game of basketball," Jordan
said.
"He exemplifies what it means to be a Hornet."
Jordan did not comment on James tying his streak.
James matched Jordan's 17-year-old mark in the second quarter when he scored his 10th
point on a powerful alley-oop dunk off a pass from J.R. Smith.
James, who began his streak on Jan. 6, 2007, can break Jordan's record Friday night at
home against the New Orleans Pelicans.
He scored 16 points in the second quarter and 13 in the third on 10-of-15 shooting during
that span, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc as the Cavaliers built a 17-point lead
heading into the fourth quarter.
The Hornets cut Cleveland's 20-point lead to 11 points but James re-entered the game
and made an immediate impact with a few more highlight reel plays.
He stole Frank Kaminsky's pass near the top of the key and raced the length of the
floor and threw down an emphatic one-handed dunk over Jeremy Lamb that brought the crowd
to its feet again.
Then with 3:09 left in the game, he grabbed Rodney Hood's miss out of the air and dunked

RAPPER DMX SENTENCED TO 1 YEAR IN PRISON FOR TAX FRAUD
Rap artist and actor DMX was sentenced to one year in prison on Wednesday after he pleaded guilty in a federal case accusing him of dodging $1. 7 million in taxes.
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was sentenced by US District Judge Jed Rakoff in Manhattan.
He pleaded guilty to one count of tax fraud in November.
Rakoff said he believed Simmons was "a good man" and that the sentence should be modest, explaining why he gave less than the five years sought by prosecutors.
Nonetheless, the judge said, "It cannot go unpunished.
Before being sentenced, Simmons said he was sorry for having failed to pay taxes.
His lawyer also played a part of Simmons' 1998 song Slippin' in the courtroom, describing difficulties he has faced.
"They put me in a situation forcing me to be a man/ When I was just learning to stand without a helping hand," Simmons raps in the song.
His lawyers had argued in court filings that a difficult upbringing left Simmons unprepared to deal with the responsibility that came with financial success.
Prosecutors said he avoided taxes between 2000 to 2005 by shifting money among accounts belonging to managers and associates, hiding millions of dollars he earned from hit songs, including X Gon' Give it to Ya and Where the Hood At.
Simmons, 47, was arrested in July.
He has been in jail since January when Rakoff revoked his bail after he failed a drug test and travelled to St Louis without a court-mandated drug counsellor.
Prosecutors said Simmons avoided taxes for years by living a cash-only lifestyle, depositing royalty checks in various bank accounts belonging to other people.
When he pleaded guilty, Simmons said that those accounts were held by multiple managers, his ex-wife and one of his children's mothers.
Simmons has 15 children by multiple women.
Before the tax charges, Simmons had an arrest record including charges of animal cruelty, reckless driving, drug possession, weapons possession and probation violations.
He has had several felony convictions and served prison time in Arizona.
Along with his rap career, Simmons has starred in such films as the 1998 crime drama Belly, the 2000 action movie Romeo Must Die and the 2003 heist film Cradle 2 The Grave.
