Hello everyone! Today will be a video of section workshop equipment.
I'll do one very useful thing. device about which
ever wonder every workshop owner.
For the manufacture of which I have prepared
old vacuum cleaner nozzle,
the hose from the siphon 50/40,
three worm-type clamps,
coupling 50/40 plumbing,
ventilation tee with a diameter of 100 mm,
and ventilation pipe, also with a diameter of 100 mm.
And still will need trimming plywoods
and powerful magnets.
I'll start by disassembling the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
All I need is this part with a rectangular socket.
As a result of manipulation with chisels it turned out here such figured preparation
but maybe in your case it will be more simple detail.
Now I need to drill a hole and stick magnets in there.
And now I have this blank saw.
To do this, I will use a Japanese saw, because it has a very thin cut.
While the paint dries I'll do adapter manufacturer
with a ventilation pipe diameter smaller than the diameter
the pipe from the siphon.
To do this, I will use a lathe.
I have already planted blank on the faceplate remains only
measure the inner diameter of the pipe, to carve a wooden plywood piece.
Next, I'll drill a hole for a smaller diameter
and all of this'll connect on glue.
now, in this adapter I will do hole under the diameter of this pipe
40 millimeters.
And now we connect our blanks together
Second attempt
The device is almost ready and it now remains to install it on the destination.
But if you haven't guessed what it is
is this dust collector for belt saws
that's where I'm gonna install it now.
these two halves of the dust collector installed under the table
on both sides of the ribbon
and they specifically sawn in half
to be able to install them there.
and now to the hole I'll connect the hose from chip pump
since I got the band saw in the shop.
I use it very often.
and many operations are carried out by it.
it has partly replaced
a circular saw.
it is very convenient tool
but it has one drawback
it produces a lot of fine dust.
now I have in the workshop had dust collector
and so I decided to make a bandsaw dust collector.
And also in the workshop there was an air filtration system
and I can show how much filter clogged with this fine dust
that's what the filter looks like in the dust removal system
this is the clean side
here is what he catches me in the air.
Now I want to test and to see the difference how it works saw
with and without a dust collector.
first, I'll take off the dust collector.
it's easy enough to do, because it is on magnets
and saw this bar without it
as you can see, the saw produces a lot of dust
and the camera may not be visible,
but all this dust flies in the air
now I want to install the dust collector.
switch chip pump
and try how the saw works with my device
I pre-vacuumed after the first test saw
surface, insides.
and now I'll install the dust collector,
include dust collector and view
how will now operate the saw.
so after sawing, I noticed that dust much smaller,
usually, the surface of the Desk,
these places - they settles a lot of dust
and I want to see what happened inside.
usually there is also is going to a lot of dust
we can say almost no dust
which is very surprising.
usually in these places, too, accumulates a whole hill
even from a small cut.
I hope this video and the fixture
it will be useful also for you
and if you liked you can put like and
