Standing in the middle of a meadow with your long hair flowing around you as you are hit
by a gentle summer breeze… who hasn't imagined this scenario at least once in their
lives?
After all, long hair does exude magic that is unmatched by any other type of hair.
But once you do have the long hair of your dreams, you realize that styling it can be
a huge pain.
Trust me, I know the struggle on a deep emotional level.
Having had long hair all my life, I know how frustrating it can get to come up with hairstyles
that won't take so long to do that your arms start hurting and still manage to look
cute.
So, here are the personal favorite hairstyles I love to do on my hair that will definitely
look gorgeous on yours!
1.
Floral Half Updo.
Be it a fancy wedding to attend or your prom night, here's a beautiful hairstyle that
will make you the belle of the ball.
This twisted half updo gives off a flirtatious vibe thanks to its floral adornments and curly
styling.
Just pair it with a cute floral dress and get ready for everyone to fall in love with
you.

Wrapped Ponytail.
Put a stylish twist on this otherwise sporty hairdo by tweaking it juuust a little bit.
Add a bumpit to to give your hair a neater look (and some oomph) with some wrapped up
detailing.
And voila!
You've got a ponytail style that you can pair with literally any outfit.

Headband Braid.
Who doesn't love adding a bit of a retro vibe to their look?
Do exactly that with this retro-inspired braided style that that will leave you looking oh-so-elegant.
The bangs and the cloth headband add to the adorbs quotient of the whole look.

Loose Half French Braid.
Doing a neat French braid can be very difficult for some people (it sure was my Everest for
the longest time).
But why pressurize yourself to do a tight, neat, and perfect one, right?
Just go for this relaxed half up version of this classic style to give yourself a boho
chic look.

Beachy Waves.
This list wouldn't be complete without a good beachy waves style, now, would it?
So, whip out that big curling iron of yours and get curling!
And with just a little bit of sea salt spray and some brushing, watch your hair transform
into perfect beachy waves.

High Fanned Out Ponytail.
Ariana Grande has remained loyal to her signature high ponytail for years now for a good reason.
It's because it looks absolutely stunning no matter what outfit she pairs it with.
Fair warning though, sporting this ponytail for too long could make your head hurt, so,
do so at your own discretion.

Fishtail Pigtails.
Just because you're all grown up now doesn't mean you have to leave your favorite pigtails
style behind.
In fact, with a bit of variation in its styling, you can create a hairstyle that is as intricate
as it gets.
Just fishtail your pigtails instead of braiding them normally and you'll see what I'm
talking about.

Mixed Half Up Braid.
When styling your long hair, you don't need to stick with just one type of braid.
Mix up a bunch of braiding styles to create new and unique looks.
You could, for instance, start off with a Dutch braid and transition it into a texturized
fishtail braid to create this magical half up look.

Fishtail Accent.
A fun way to add a bit of spunk to your hair is to go for braided accents.
They add a bit of oomph while still maintaining the beauty of your open hair look.
A texturized fishtail accent done on some beachy waves is a great look to sport during
the summers.

Half Top Knot.
A fun day out in the beach or a casual hangout with friends – no matter what the occasion,
here's a style that will work perfectly.
A half top knot takes about 2 minutes to tie and looks super cute.
The best part is that it works even better on second and third day hair.
