Waching daily Feb 3 2018

What is going on guys my name is Anthony Villa welcoming you back to get another

video here on the channel where today guys I'm gonna be talking to you about

the Amazon Associates program specifically for beginners I'm gonna go

over the program a little bit explain why I think it's good explain why I

think it's bad you know do a little bit of a pro horse con list on it and then

what I might actually do for you guys is I'm gonna give you guys a few actionable

things you can do as soon as you finish this video that way as soon as you

finish you can sign up for the Amazon Associates Program and you can do a few

of these things that way you can actually start generating some sales

generating some affiliate commissions just like I know you guys want to do I

know you're why are you really here you want to learn how to make some money

online with the Amazon Associates Program that's exactly what I'm gonna

show you guys how to do in today's video so stick around to the end if you're

excited before we get into the video guys if you're new here please subscribe

for brand new videos every single day join the fam it's great here with that

being said guys weird I'm into my computer right now I'm gonna show you

guys exactly how to do this alright guys we're in my computer as you can see we

are already in the Amazon Associates Program if you don't have an account yet

you're gonna need to go ahead and do that first it is completely free to sign

up just go ahead and Google you know Amazon Associates sign up go through the

actual signup process there are a few steps but it shouldn't take you that

long to be honest once you do that you will now be in the Amazon Associates

Program and that is the first step done congratulations guys we are on the

product linking page I'm actually explain to you guys exactly how we're

gonna make money doing this because of course while you're here for guys I'm

gonna show you the best way I know how I'm actually give you guys some examples

of some other people that are already doing this and making a lot of money

doing so so with that being said the first thing we're actually need to do is

choose a product you guys to get your actual affiliate link I'm gonna show you

how to do that first you go over to the product linking page which are already

there actually click product links you know we come over here to go to product

search search all of amazon and then keyword or the actual ASN or the ISBN if

you have that number we're actually into is a random product so we're gonna

choose the Beats Studio I think this took a third generation now

someone's gonna type in three and should give us some results and then right

there guys Beats Studio 3 while headphones and map

lack priced 349 so asked I should get your link pretty self-explanatory guys

little arrow and then I'll bring up a text link and then this is gonna be your

link right here can clicking a copy and paste what would our actually do guys is

because its link is so long it's not very clickable nobody knows it's click a

link that does that long it looks kind of spammy and ugly you're just gonna

click shorten URL with Amazon whatever that was

then you're gonna copy this link and that'll be your actual affiliate link

you're gonna use later because we're actually doing guys is we're gonna be

creating content based around these products that are on Amazon of course

you guys there are literally millions of products on Amazon you can do this for

it I just decided to choose the example of the Beats Studio 3 because you know

it's a high priced product there's a lot of hype around it of course guys it's

the Beats Studio Headphones soul though there was a lot of demand for a product

like this so what I'm actually show you guys how to do is like I said we're

gonna be creating content based on these products so that's usually gonna come in

the form of a review whether that's a review video or a blog article based on

the product but I'm actually do guys like I said I'm gonna show you guys some

other examples the people that are already doing this live so I'm gonna

click wasn't copy that actually my little copy I'm gonna go over to YouTube

I'm gonna type in Beats Studio 3 right there and I'm typing review because what

am I trying to show you guys is of course there are gonna be a ton tons of

reviews over 1.8 million results just for this saw this this keyword is

keyword search alone for actually and do guys is we're gonna click the first

video which is actually gonna be the judge Jim's review room new Beats Studio

Headphones review that's muted perfect alright so all I care about the video

cuz we're actually to show you guys is is the description what he has in the

description as check prices or by hear us and international prices he is he

some sort of link we're gonna click that link and surprise surprise guys there

bring this straight over to Amazon so to explain exactly what's happening here

guys is this person what is his name Jim's review room made a YouTube review

video based around the Beats Studio 3 headphones he actually has an Amazon

Associates account he came over here he got his affiliate link and then put it

in the description of his video right at the top right there and then he has this

video has two hundred sixty eight thousand views that means two hundred

eight sixty eight thousand people I just came by this video and potentially saw

this link maybe they even clicked it and then perch

headphones through his link which means he made a commission based on how many

people actually bought these headphones you guys the great thing about the

Amazon Associates Program is you're someone really mentioned in the

beginning you all actually make a commission based on whatever that

customer buys completing in entirety not just whatever you link them to what I'm

saying here guys is if our customer just coming through this review video I could

click through his link and I decided I didn't want to buy these headphones but

instead I wanted to buy a 75 inch flat-screen 4k TV for like two thousand

dollars what if I did that guys he would actually make a commission on that

flat-screen 4k TV for like two thousand dollars because that's the way the

Amazon Associates program is set up as long as they click through your link if

they actually make a purchase on amazon.com at that point you'll go to

commission for whatever it is that they buy so if they buy like three thousand

dollars other products you'll get commission based on all of that not just

the headphones or whatever you link them to which is one of the reasons I really

like the Amazon Associates Program because do can link somebody just from

like a book or something you can do a quick book review for like a 15 dollar

book link them to that and instead of them actually purchasing the 15 dollar

book they can actually buy you know maybe a DSLR maybe some really expensive

speakers and you'll actually earn a really nice Commission based off that

let me actually talk about the Amazon Associates Program a little bit more yes

the reason I like it so much and the reason I like it specifically for

beginners is because it's very easy guys Amazon does all the selling for you guys

Amazon already has a ton of authority in the space and I'm gonna work really

really hard and spent billions of dollars to get where they are in this

way in their marketplace they're pretty much doing all the work for you guys as

soon as they land on Amazon Amazon is doing all the work for you I mean

Amazon's extremely trusted they're extremely reliable everybody knows who

they are everybody's always purchasing from them

I know myself personally I just bought something on Amazon today I'm always

buying suffering off Amazon probably like you are - or probably like tons of

other people are so all we're trying to do guys is we're trying to get in the

middle guys we're trying to get in between the customer and Amazon where

should I get straight in the middle that way when a customer actually comes

through and goes through our link will actually make a commission

that's all we're really trying to do guys is we're trying to set ourselves up

so we're directly in the middle between the actual consumer you know the

customer and then the supplier being Amazon this person is doing the exact

same thing with their review video guys they knew that people who are interested

in the Beats Studio 3 would want to be looking for a review people that are

interested in products are always looking for reviews of said products

that's why it's the perfect idea for you guys actually make review videos on set

products now guys a lot of your pricing you know what if I don't have the

product on hand you know what if I'll actually own the Beats Studio 3s so I

know that will be the case for a lot of you guys and guys that's not a problem

because what you could actually do is you can come over to Amazon this product

right here has 97 customer reviews reading what you want to do is you're

gonna go through some of the top customer reviews because you guys these

are really it is actually really really in-depth you guys click read more this

person wrote a lot about the headphones you guys you can just read this and just

from this one review alone you're gonna get a really good idea of what these

headphones have to offer and why they're good or why they're bad now of course I

would definitely try to read like the top 5 this person gives a pros and cons

list right here guys so just right here alone you know exactly what's good about

the headphones and what's bad about it because what you can actually do is if

you don't have the headphones themselves you can actually put like some pictures

up maybe doing like a slideshow fashion or if you can find some other video

online what's free to you isn't not copyrighted

you maybe just some b-roll footage over the headphones you know it's kind of

going around them kind of showing them off you can just put that up as a video

and just talk over it talk about the pros the cons of it and guys like I said

this person gave you a pro and cons list right here this person pretty much wrote

the script for the video at this point so all you need to do over here we need

to read through some of these reviews write some stuff down and you can make

your own review video without even having the product yeah this works the

exact same way for like blog type articles same thing guys I'm just gonna

copy this right here I'm actually put it straight into Google and I'm gonna show

you guys some examples of that as well so let's click that um these are

obviously gonna be some really high ranking websites like The Verge the

TechRadar and wired I'm actually looking for a little of a smaller up site not

know PC Mag is obviously a mass website looking for a little of a smaller one

not really business insider extra reviews that code I you K I've never

heard this one so maybe this one's good so

let's click through right here alright so sort of scroll through this article

really fast obvious this is a review of the headphones and right at the top guys

pretty much something the first thing you're gonna see after the picture of

that phones is gonna be pretty much the link to Amazon and literally it says

349 from Amazon com so like I said guys these people are doing the exact same

thing they had they made an Amazon Associates account they got their

affiliate link and they wrote a review article based around the headphone and

now I'm people come to this review guys I mean you know late they like to review

they say you know what actually this had one sound pretty good

I'm gonna go ahead and purchase them the link is right there right in front of

them so all you have to do is go ahead and click buy now thinking guys it'll

bring them straight to Amazon when they check out whoever wrote this article

will make a commission based on that sale so you want to do the exact same

thing guys you want to create some sort of content usually in review form they

actually show off these products talk about them and then link in the

description or in the blog article itself your affiliate link to Amazon

that people will click your link they'll buy through you and then you'll actually

start making affiliate Commission's if you guys want to start doing this today

guys you guys can pick pretty much any products on Amazon it doesn't have to be

a three hundred and fifty dollar pair of headphones it can be anything as long

around your house guys I can just reach back here think of this book and say hey

guys look at this book right here you're getting Think and Grow Rich it's a great

book you guys should definitely buy it and then I'll have a link at the top of

the description and then guys is really that simple and you guys can choose a

book really anything you have guys and go ahead and make a video on it or just

write a blog article about it reviewing it talking about it a little bit in

depth see what's a why you like me why you don't like it but guys be honest in

your reviews you don't want to like try to like oversell people and just talk

about the positives because guys it'll obviously come off as a little bit fake

a little bit staged and it'll be a lot of it's not telling the truth you

definitely want to include both pros and cons with that being said guys those are

the actionable steps those the actionable things you're gonna need to

do if you want to use this method to start making some money online first

said like I said wait earlier and they're in their beginning of the video

is to actually make it Amazon Associates account after that pick a few products

get your affiliate links make some review videos many rights a few review

articles go out there guys take action today that's the most important part

guys is to take action this video is completely useless

I should actually take this information and do something with it with that being

said guys that's pretty much the video wrapped up if you guys have any

questions comments concerns about the video or this method drop a comment down

below I'll answer every single comment I get and with that being said guys if you

knew the channel please subscribe for brand new videos every single day

join the fam if you enjoyed the video drop a like on it and with that being

said guys my name is Anthony Villa I will see you in the next one I am out

peace

FFL6: Breaking Down Piano Improv for Kids - Duration: 11:12.

- Hello everybody!

So, have you ever tried

to improvise with your students

and run into all kinds of problems?

Maybe your student is scared

of improvisation

when you say the words,

"Hey!

"Let's do an improv today!"

They give you that look like.

You know their eyes get real big

and they get real scared.

Has that ever happened to you?

It's definitely happened to me.

So today, I'm here to talk to you

about some solutions to make improvisation

easy for your student.

Now, if you're joining me live today,

please make sure to say hi.

Give me some hearts, give me some likes.

Maybe even if you can share this video

with your friends,

I would really appreciate it.

I got a really cool freebie for you guys today.

So they will definitely want in on this.

Hello everybody.

My name is Sara Campbell

and I'm one of the Upbeat Piano Teachers

and I'm here today to talk about

improvisation.

And I hope that you're going to find this video helpful.

I'm gonna try to do it really fast.

I know, it's really hard for me

to keep under the five minutes.

But, I'm gonna do my best.

Hello Christina!

Thanks for tuning in today!

Okay, so.

The topic of the day is improvisation.

I know this can be a scary thing

for a lot of teachers

especially if you are

more in the classical vein

and you didn't get a lot of improv experience

as a student yourself.

I'm one of those people.

So I know exactly how that feels.

Improvisation up until a few years ago

felt really foreign to me.

And I was always a little bit nervous

when I tried to do it with my students.

I got three ways

for you to present improv

in a way that simplifies it,

breaks it down

and makes it manageable for students.

So let's get started.

Let's jump in.

My first tip

with improvisation and students

is to really break things down.

I have some things here for me today

that I like to use

to help my students break the process down.

It's a little bit scary when you sit down at the piano

and you say, "okay,

"we're gonna do an improvisation."

And maybe you start

doing some chords underneath

and making it sound all fancy.

Don't do that.

Do it, make it easy.

Oh Christina,

the video froze.

You know what.

(sighs)

alright,

let's see is the video back?

We are experiencing some internet issues today.

We had a massive storm last night.

We had reset our internet.

And it appears to be working.

Okay.

Thanks!

Hi Sara!

Thank you for letting me

you're gonna

half this video's gonna have

things of me going

"I don't know, is it on?"

alright, anyway, okay.

Let's go back to step number one

for your improvisation.

It's all about breaking things down.

Don't present it in a very complex way at first especially

if you have a student who might be nervous

about improvisation.

Here's what I like to do.

I like to say,

"we are going to learn there things today.

"We are going to learn about some chords,

"we're going to learn about a pentascale,

"and we're going to learn about a rhythm."

So, one of the first things I like to do

is I like to break down the rhythm.

So I'll bring out

my flash cards.

I got different levels of flash cards in here.

And, I will bring out the rhythm

that I chosen for my students.

So for instance, I might choose something really simple

like tah, tah, tee, tee, tah

and I would take this rhythm card,

put it on the piano

and we would get out

our trusty little frogs here.

And we would practice the rhythm together.

Tah, tah, tee, tee, tah.

And just make it kind of fun.

Make them loop the rhythm.

Make them do it while they're standing up,

while they're sitting down.

Make it do it behind their head.

You just want to get them laughing.

You want to get them comfortable.

That's the whole point of this exercise.

So you're breaking things down.

You present the rhythm first,

then you may present a very simplified chord structure.

If you have a very little student

that isn't ready to play interviews,

you can do fifths.

Hey!

Frank Nicholas Tyler!

I'm so glad that you got to join me live today.

Alright so,

you could do a single note in the bassline.

There's nothing wrong with that.

Having them do one note.

Having them do one, two, three, four

while and I wished I had three hands

cause I can totally do this

while I was doing that at the same time.

Maybe you do the rhythm

while they do the bassline.

And then we switch roles.

You can do it that way.

And,

so I presented my rhythm.

I presented

how to do the chords.

I'm gonna talk more about that in just a second.

And then, I would break it down

into what pentascale are we using today.

So today, we're going to use the A minor pentascale

and we would practice

what does our hand position look like in A minor?

Going up and down.

And we practice that all over the piano.

Oh thank you Fritz

I love my little

oh wait, this direction.

Yah, my little tissue box.

That was a present from a student years ago.

It's one of my favorites.

I get compliments on it all the time.

I think they got it at a craft show.

Okay.

So, we have broken everything down.

That is step number one.

Now, the next step is to simplify.

That might sound like I'm just reiterating step one.

But I'm not.

So, when you break it down,

you're showing them the improv has different

parts, right?

We have our melody,

we have our chords

and we have our rhythm.

If we think of all of those things

as different aspects of an improv,

it gets a little bit less scary.

Now, when I say simplify,

I mean break those little aspects down

into smaller bits.

I mentioned if you have a young student.

Only having them play the root note of a chord

while you do the rhythm

or while you do some of the improv,

that's a good way to simplify.

If you want to do something a little more advanced,

maybe having them do fifths.

Your older students certainly can go to a one five eight

or if their hands are big enough,

one, five, 10.

Or you could teach them some kind of a fancy

little thing there.

You choose what is best for your student.

Address the level that they are at

and that's where you stay.

Another way that you can simplify

and exercise

is to limit them to a few notes.

Maybe a pentascale is too much.

Give them one or two notes.

Say, "okay, I want you to do is A and B

"in the A minor pentascale.

"Here's your rhythm."

Tah, tee, tee, tah, tah.

All of a sudden, this can start to sound really cool.

All of a sudden they're making music,

and it sounds amazing

and they get really excited.

And I'm only using two chords

and two melody notes.

That's pretty amazing.

Okay, so you simplify.

Your final thing here

is to set perimeters.

Most of you know how to do this.

But if you're not familiar with improv,

definitely give your students

a very set number of chords that you're going to use.

Tell them which chords they're going to be.

This is a fantastic opportunity

for you to get out your circle of fifths

and talk about how the chords are related.

I did that with some of my intermediate students

earlier in the week.

We did a D minor improv

and it sounded absolutely fantastic.

We talked about the different chords

that might be most common

in the key of D minor.

And then we charted it out.

And I let them do improv on their own

and it sounds great.

I shared it here earlier this week

on Upbeat Piano Teachers

or you can also look at it on Sara's Music Studio

on that Facebook page as well.

So,

again,

you don't have to get scared of doing improv

with your students.

You can break things down into tiny steps.

So, here they are.

In summation,

we're breaking things down.

Break it down.

Chords, melody, rhythm.

Break it into separate parts.

So that it doesn't seem so scary.

Then simplify.

If your student isn't ready to do fifths,

let them play a

single root note.

And if they aren't ready to explore an entire A

minor scale or pentascale,

give them just a couple of notes to play around with.

And then when they're familiar with those

they can move on to something else.

Make sure that you set your parameters

and make them very clear.

So I have something exciting for you guys today.

Speaking of setting parameters,

I created a little freebie for you all.

So, I created a simple improv.

I wrote this up on Noteflight the other day

because I wanted you to have something physical

that you could work with.

So what I have on here is I have four different levels

of this exercise.

Starting with the root only in the bass.

And then fifths

and one, five, eight

and also one, five, 10.

So if you would like to get a hold of this,

I want you to type the word improv

in the comments below

and the Upbeat bot will then

message you and give you instructions

to download this absolutely free.

Okay, thank you all for joining me today.

Sorry for the little broadcast interruption.

I know this probably went longer than five minutes

but I've been really excited about talking about

this with you today.

Alright,

make sure to type improv in the comments

to get a hand on that

awesome little thing here.

And please

if you enjoyed today's video,

please share.

Let your friends know that there's a freebie out there.

Share it on your timeline.

Share it on your studio page

so that they can get a hold of this cool improv too.

I will be live next week on Friday

for Friday Five Live as always.

I will also be going live

in our masterclass group.

We have a composer interview coming up.

I'm very excited about that.

So for those of you in the mastermind,

we look forward to that on Monday.

I've been doing some

little lives on my personal page as well.

I'm talking about business and just

chit chatting.

So if you're ever around

and you want to do that,

hey, send me a friend request.

I'd be happy to be your piano friend.

Alright everybody.

Have a fabulous Friday.

I am out of here.

I am not working today.

So I am going back to the pool

alright everybody.

Stay tuned for more cool stuff

at Upbeat Piano Teachers.

We'll see you around.

Big Tips for BIG Trips - lessons from the trip leaders - Duration: 18:19.

Hello everyone. Welcome back to the Road show.

Some of you have been asking about doing

the Canning Stock Route, about any you know kind of tips,

or what should you expect

so I'm gonna do a series just on that topic.

I'm gonna start, this is the first

with Erika and Murray, my trip leaders.

They're from the Getaway Four-wheel Drive Club

& in June July last year we did the Getaway Canning

Stock Route trip so... over to Erika and Murray.

Preparation for the Canning Stock Route

started about six months before we

actually went on the stock route.

It might have been a bit longer than that.

We got the car set up exactly what it would be like on the

Canning Stock Route.

We took everything I was supposed to take

and we done a two-week trip from Eucla

through to Israelite Bay

but that was a set for the car for the stock route.

We had new shockies put in.

We had the weight of the fuel that we were taking with us

extra fuel, everything was on that trip

and if we had any breakdowns on that trip

we get them sorted out before the Canning Stock Route.

It was ok but the Canning Stock Route is just unforgiving.

What anything that you prepare for...

it just does not come out, the stock route will bring it out

because it's that rough. It's so bad.

People say it's piece of cake .Well it's all the preparation

you put into it to make it a piece of cake but

if you don't do it properly

Taking along a good 1st Aid Kit, it think is really important.

We had a really huge big 1st Aid Kit.

We had everything we could possibly need

splints to bandages, we had medication everything

like that and that was in the car

but everyone had their own individual 1st Aid Kit

with the panadol and band-aids and everything like that.

But you really need to think ahead you know...

snakebites, having all the bandages & everything close by.

You know anyone that cuts themselves to have stuff to

fix it up up straightaway but you also need things in bulk

because you know you've got dressings if anyone gets

an infection. We took along a supply of Panadol.

We actually had some antibiotics

because there's no doctors or hospitals.

and you have to take into account you can be out there

for three or four weeks. You need all these things.

We took stuff if they had diarrhea which is really important

but fortunately we didn't need much

but you have to be prepared.

Yeah we made sure that all our health was up to date,

teeth checked, filled everything.

But when you get a toothache

the one thing we found we didn't have was the aspirin

and that's one thing we needed for toothache.

One thing need to think about

Everyone had this medical form.

They filled it out and had next-of-kin, had

their medical conditions. It had Medicare number,

HBF (insurance) number, anything like that

because just in case of any severe accident, rollover

when the partner was incapacitated & the other person

was in the state of shock and couldn't give any details

We can call the RFDS (flying dr)

and get them you know evacuated out.

You wanted to know a little bit of their medical history -

it was there.

What medications they are on, their history,

the next-of-kin to contact them because in an

emergency your mind just goes a blank.

I thought that was really important

to have for everyone's safety.

It was put in a sealed envelope and it's put in either

their glove box or the trip leaders glove box.

Only to be opened in case of emergency

All these little bits and pieces that have been ironed out

before we have a stock route and on the stock route,

it makes all the other trips now just that little bit easier,

not complacent, but a little bit easier

We decided that everyone should actually carry

a spare car key and some people would

leave their spare key with a spouse in the purse

or anything and you could actually leave the key

in your envelope that had all your medical details

in someone else's glovebox. So if you happened to

lose your key or lock it in your car at least someone

had the spare key to get it out which was really handy

People who have actually done the trip before

it's very helpful to talk to them

and Mr. Canning Stock Route, Phil Bianchi,

he was very very helpful you know. He talked

us through things told us things that could happen

so we could do things with a plan that would help us

and it was awesome. It's very good.

We actually got a couple of books.

We had Phil Bianchi's Canning Stock Route book

Work Completed.

There was another book that was very interesting.

It had all the different wells and what to see at the wells,

the history of them.

We did a lot of Googling and finding out things about

the stock route, what people had seen.

We also got onto the sites of a lot of tour companies

that actually did the stock route and

we saw what they saw and you know.

We made sure we weren't going to miss out on anything

so if they went to see it we went to see it.

Before we went, we'd actually worked out roughly

day by day what we're going to see.

We knew we had about four or five weeks so we planned it

But that was always open to flexibility.

If people wanted to see something that

wasn't on the guide we'd slot it in.

If they found that we had allocated 2 days to

see something and we saw it in one we'd just move on.

There was a lot of flexibility.

We wanted to make it everyone's trip not just our trip.

We said if there's anything you want to see tell us

and we'll try and incorporate it.

At the same time we made sure we didn't deviate too far

from the actual plan

I'm very lucky. We've got two CBs in the car

and I didn't realise how important having 2 CBs was

until we were actually on the track.

Both CBs are hard mounted in the car.

We could talk to the group, the cars that were behind us

on one and then talk ahead on the other and

Erika had done that side.

So what we'd do is we would be on channel 19 talking to

the rest of the group you know telling them we're going

to go over a sand hill. It's a bit soft or any hazards

on the road, any camels or anything like that

and then we'd be able to get onto the channel 40

and what we would do is radio ahead and say

we're a vehicle of five, we're a convoy of five vehicles

and we're travelling between let's say well 39

and well 40 heading from north to south

and if there are any other vehicles on the track

could you make yourselves known.

That gave us an idea if there are

any other vehicles traveling towards us

because there's a lot of sand dunes,

a lot of blind hills and if you happen to

meet someone along the track and you

don't know that they're there you could

actually have quite a nasty accident

A lot of people that do the stock route don't communicate.

It's funny enough the older people will communicate

but it's the younger ones are not communicating.

We can hear them chatting away but

they weren't communicating with us.

Channel 40 on the stock route is not a communication channel

for chit chat. It's to let other vehicles know

that you're on the track

That's all it's there for and you can

swap channels to talk to one another, what's going on.

But some people just don't talk and some people have

been very very good to us.

They actually say they're coming with 2 trailers

and they'll pull over and wait for us to go past.

So some are very good and others are very very bad.

Very dangerous. You know because

we knew that there were people out there. You

could hear them talking on the channel 40

and you'd put the call across to say

that you're traveling from the north to south

and they wouldn't acknowledge you.

You know there was just absolutely no response and

you could hear them laughing saying Oh did you hear

that call? but they wouldn't tell you where they were

so you had no idea when you're actually

going to come in contact with them.

Fortunately there was one time we were talking to this

guy and he was travelling from south to north

and we knew we were going to come across him on the

track so we're very wary. As we're going up the sand hills

and even though he knew we were coming up

and we knew that he was coming towards us

we didn't know where we'd meet.

And just as we both peaked at the top of this sand hill

we saw each other. So we both had to roll back down.

Now if we hadn't communicated

we would have gone belting up the hill

and we probably would have hit him at the top

Back to Mr. Canning Stock Route, Phil Bianchi,

when he told us that he couldn't make it, we

asked him straight away

you wouldn't have any flag points for the stock route?

So he gave us this little stick and we put it into...I bought a

little touch pad and downloaded what he had on there

from Paynes Find right through to

the Canning Stock Route and back.

Phil, he's done it a number of times as you well know

and he had lots of little flags for us. We tried to

stay at these flags in fact we stay at most flags

or visited the flags along the way.

It was so important that we didn't realise how important

it was until we came to

because it's not road signs out there We come to the T

intersection. You can look up on the on the screen

and you can say ...Erika gets on the two-way and says turn right or

left at this intersection. Very important

to have, to do your homework on that.

You can actually, you could actually just go

along and get through it but it would be very hard going

and it's very very important

to have some sort of mapping system

That one where we were heading out to Diebel Springs

and we came over the sand hill

We got down to the bottom and of course

one road went to the right one to the

left and we thought okay

Jeremy and the others have gone to the left but our GPS

thing is more or less saying go to the right

so we stopped there. We called the others back

and we had a look and there was a sign

a black sign that everything had faded

there was nothing on it,

but if you look really closely you could see

the marker pointing to the right.

Now that was on the ground where no one

could see. It was just fortunate we had the little GPS

thing that we could follow, otherwise we would have

missed out on Diebel Springs and gone straight

to Durba Spring

Was it 47..? One of the wells that the

water was really really high and there's

no way we could find it to get to the well and so even if

our map was saying go and there was water.

That was 26. 26 sorry it was 26. That's ok.

And the water, there was no way you could get your car

in there. So we had to divert way up and around

and once we took up then we got back on the track

it came up where we were but Jeremy, he had a

different mapping system to what we had.

There is a quite a few on the market out there

and Jeremy's was really really good

and the one that we just had google no um

can't remember...The Hema

We had Hema maps and that was very good and with

Phil's flags it was good. We would have been lost

without those...

Please take a paper map because

it just takes a little bit of water to get in

the system and you not very good because

your system shuts down, its no good at all.

We lose power things like that...

Corrugations are about that by about that deep

and it just shook the car to...it didn't shake it to pieces

but it certainly put it through its paces

and I happen to snap the left hand

mounting bolt on the radiator and so we

zip tied it all together, put towels down round it

and it done it it done it

it done the job really well plus

with since the corrugations are so rough the

bolts that hold the muffler system onto the gearbox

they wiggled out so of course

the exhaust pipe broke broke off at the manifold

so had to wire that on

So the preparation, you can't prep it for that

you just can't you can put..you can carry a whole garage

with you so it's really hard and you just

Drive to the conditions that's all you gotta do...hopefully

Some of the things that we took you know

we had a big list of things from welders,

welding rods, angle grinders everything.

You think you know why would you need

those? But fortunately we didn't need those

but there was a bus tour that actually radiod ahead

and they wanted to know if we had a welder, welding rod

angle grinder because what did they do?

they snapped the front wheel off their vehicle

The communities will ask for your permit

and they can make it very difficult or

they can make it very easy

Now we knew that we'd need extra fuel.

We worked it all out and we'd also looked at

the Facebook and all the rest of the stuff.

We talked to people. They said that there is a fuel drop

that fuel is brought out from Newman and dropped at

well 23 and you get it in 44 gallon drums

and it's about $395 for the 44 gallon drum

You have to preorder it back in Perth and when you

get up there they've got all these big drums all lined up

and it's got the name of different people

that have ordered them.

You go up to the drum that's got your name on

and that's the fuel you've ordered.

We possibly could have got by without ordering the fuel

but we thought we'll err on the side of caution.

We've gotten this far the stock route

and we just don't want to be stranded

without fuel especially with five vehicles so we had it as a

precautionary measure just in case we did any extra

trips or anything happened to any of our fuel tanks.

So it's well worth getting the fuel.

The people that provide the fuel

there is a pump there (it does not work) but we took our

own pump with us we took a Tanami pump

I would definitely not take as much stuff.

I took too many clothes. You really only need a change

of clothes and also would not take as much food

because we came back with heaps of food.

You just overestimate how much you're going to eat

and because you're sitting in the car all day.

You just don't eat!

The only thing is maybe

stay a couple more days at different places

have a good look around but em

when you get, once you get in that mood

of travelling you just don't want to stop.

It's so good!

I think a good trip leader is one that will actually

listen to people you know

You can go in and pretend you know everything

and make out that it's your trip

and you're doing everyone a favor

but I think a good trip leader listens

to everyone and it makes them feel as though

it's their trip as well as yours. Exactly right.

Make them feel comfortable to say I want to see this

or I've seen enough of this or yeh

at the end of the day we've still got the ultimate say

in things but it's everyone's trip. They've saved up hard.

They've done a lot of preparation.

We want everyone to enjoy it and feel

comfortable to speak their minds.

Being comfortable to speak and their minds

I think that goes down well

To actually know what you're going to see

we could have gone out there not knowing anything

about the stock group just fumbled along and

pretend we've known things but to

actually do a bit of reading beforehand

a bit of research, preparation. Know what's happened

beforehand and if you don't know something

you just own up to it. You don't go pretending

you know something and you just look it up after.

just look it up after.

Murray and Erika were the most fantastic Trip Leaders

and I just think wow! you know out of 10 they were 11!

So I hope you've enjoyed some of

their insights and any tips they've given you

Cost For Moving A House | Get 7 FREE Moving Quotes & Save Up To 35% 💲📦 - Duration: 5:08.

Are you about to move and need to hire a moving company?

Choosing the wrong company could make you a victim of a rouge mover that could cost

you thousands of dollars and unnecessary stress..

Without properly planning your move, your result can be catastrophic.

You probably have heard of the horror stories from people you know.

Like the hostage technique whereby a mover takes your belongings at an agreed price,

then starts adding additional expenses later.

Unless you pay for those additional expenses, your belongings are held back for that ransom

pay.

How about those trumped up charges the mover conveniently forgot to mention during the

appraisal period, stating there wouldn't be any hidden charges?

Or the classic "late delivery" where the moving company groups your belongings with another

move in the back of the truck or worse yet, the moving company has been found guilty of

a violation that needs to be resolved before your belongings can be delivered.

In either case, you're kept waiting for days at your new home for your items to arrive.

Studies have shown that moving stress ranks up there among major stressful events like

divorce, losing a job, or going through a foreclosure.

Imagine your entire estate arriving weeks later, or exceeding your moving budget by

hundreds of dollars in unexpected expenses, or your furniture, lamps, chinaware were broken

by mishandling of the movers.

What should be a straight forward move, could turn into a hellish nightmare.

Contracting moving services from the wrong company opens up the possibility of dealing

with the aftermath of your move long after your belongings arrive at your new home.

The thought of having to deal with the mover in court, or with the insurance company should

be enough to stay away from shady movers.

So how do you avoid falling victim of the mischievous deeds of an unscrupulous moving

company and position your move to be a stress-free experience at a fair market price?

Selecting your relocation company by price alone is not enough.

It requires a conscientious effort to partner up with a serious and professional company

that has your best interest in mind.

To find the best moving company that suits your particular move is necessary that you

start by requesting moving estimates of your entire move from each company and do background

checks on them.

That is where we come in, we've done the leg work for you to sort and identify those companies

that are trustworthy, have a good long standing reputation in the industry, and are poised

to provide you with the best value for your money.

We work with the best in the industry based on customer service, fair pricing, attention

to details, services offered, and coverage against accidents, damage, or loss.

The US Department of Transportation, a license given to those that have demonstrated a superior

level in quality with a solid track record of customer satisfaction.

Moving quotes allow you to compare and contrast prices, customer services, and additional

services.

You're in a position of strength because these movers compete for your business offering

you their best value for your money.

You'll know how much your move will cost since movers cannot exceed their non-binding estimates

by more than 10% by law, so you're protected from any price gouging.

Once you're equipped with our FREE moving quotes, you'll be in a much better position

now your choice is much clearer.

FFL5: Late Night Dinner Solutions for Piano Teachers - Duration: 6:40.

- Hello!

Happy Friday, you.

Thank goodness, it's the end of the week

and I am ready to do the fifth Friday Five Live.

We've done five in a row now.

Today is all about...

What's for dinner?

What are you guys makin' for dinner tonight?

So, yesterday, I had a fantastic talk

with a bunch of piano teachers.

We had a little chat in the evening,

when I was about to leave the studio.

We were talking about how we deal with the fact

that we get out of work super late and sometimes

we're really really tired and we just don't have

the energy to put dinners together.

And I know that what I do personally, like, kind of works

for me, but I got some fantastic ideas from other teachers,

so I thought I'd hop on today and share them with you.

Alright, so, I have, I actually have a request for you guys.

In this post, first off, I'd love if you could share this.

Share this with your piano teacher friends,

because we are gonna try to make this a huge recipe

comment thread, and if you have recipes that you love

that are super easy to make, I want you to add them

to this post in the comments below.

Add the link, or if you just know

these five ingredients together is fantastic

and it only takes you 20 minutes.

Toss that into the comments below, and then

save this post so that you can look at it later.

So, I have three easy things that you can do

to help relieve that stress at the end of the evening

when you have a ton of stuff on your mind

and you're really tired and you just want

to put dinner on the table.

Here are three things that you can do,

I got these great ideas from my friends.

First idea.

All about meal planning.

Now, I'm not a good meal planner, I'll just tell you

right now, I'm just not.

But, here are two easy ways that I think that you can

incorporate meal planning into your evenings

and into your weeks.

One suggestion came from Mallory Byers, who was featured

in our preschool webinar this last spring.

She said that she does a lot of batch cooking,

where she takes, like, the standard pieces that you might

do in a meal like rice or potatoes, and she makes

a whole bunch of them at the beginning of the week

and kind of makes them plain and then puts them

into small containers, so that she can then

use them in other meals throughout the week

and do different flavors with them, so you don't get bored.

'Cause nobody wants to eat the same thing five nights

in a row, we all know that.

Another thing that you can do, meal planning wise,

if you're looking for somebody to help you out with this,

Hetty suggested going to emeals.com, because they actually

do a lot of the planning for you.

So, they'll figure out, like, a grocery list

and they'll send it to you and then you do that grocery list

and they have the recipes already done.

Hey, I see some people are tuning in!

Tell me where you're coming from today

and let me know your absolute favorite easy recipe

for the end of the night, because, you know,

it's eight PM and you're trying to put that dinner together,

and ugh, you're brain fried.

We're talkin' dinner.

Alright, so, meal planning is the first item.

The second item is cooking ahead.

So, these are meals that you do totally done ahead of time,

so that you don't really have to do anything

when you get home.

One of the things that you can do, and we've all

done this before, crock pot meals.

Now, of course it takes some planning, but, crock pot meals

are a great idea if you have one of those crock pot meals

that can do, that can go for, like,

eight hours at a time.

Those are fantastic because you can set it and forget it

and you're done.

Another thing that you can do is freezer meals.

Now, this is something that people kind of forget about.

You can actually make a whole bunch of meals,

like, casserole-style, and put them in the freezer,

and then just take them out when you're ready to go

and pop them into the oven as soon as you get home.

You can put a lot of freezer meals in absolutely frozen,

so if somebody can start that a little bit before

you're done teaching, then it's a really easy way

to have that dinner on the table at a reasonable time.

Okay, so, we had meal meal planning, we had cook ahead.

Finally, and this is actually the route that I've

been doing lately, delivery services.

So, there are a ton of delivery services out there

right now, like Blue Apron and Sun Basket and Green Chef,

and they basically do all the meal planning for you,

they do all the shopping for you, all you have to do

is the cooking, so if you have enough brain cells left

at the end of the evening that you can follow some steps

and look at pictures and go oh yeah, I can make this,

then I would suggest trying something like that.

Of course, you are paying for convenience, and, y'know,

they do sometimes get a little bit pricey,

but you can find coupons online for that,

and you can also find somebody, like, a friend, find a friend

who already does it, and they can refer you

and you can get three free meals, did you know that?

It's pretty awesome.

And then, of course, you know, sometimes you're gonna have

those evenings where you just wanna order pizza.

And there's nothing wrong with that.

Alright, so now, here's where you guys come into this.

I want you to comment today with your favorite easy recipes

so we can get a really awesome recipe thread going

and we can share with one another, learn from one another,

so that we're not using the same recipes over and over

and over again, 'cause I don't know about you guys,

I've gotten sick of some of my standards.

So, what are your favorite easy dinners that you can put

together either ahead of time or something that you can

whip up really fast at the end of the evening,

so that you don't have to be eating at, like,

10 o'clock at night.

Comment below with those recipes, let's share today.

And then, I have another announcement for you guys.

As you can tell, this is my fifth Friday Five Live,

I'm gonna be doing these every single Friday throughout

the summer at about 12:15, Eastern Standard Time,

every Friday, so if you want to get notifications

about these, or if you would like the replay delivered

straight to your inbox, if you type the letters FFL

down in the comments below, my little upbeat bot

will message you and then ask you to type that one more time

and then what you'll get is that I'll send you this replay

in your messenger every Friday afternoon,

so that you don't have to go hunting around for it

on the internet, alright?

So if you type that below, then you can get that

delivered to your inbox.

Alright, everybody, thank you for tuning in,

I hope you all have a fantastic Friday

and that you have a great weekend.

Get out there and enjoy your life.

Bye everybody!
