Hey guys for Complex News, I'm Natasha Martinez.

It looks like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 escaped the so called sequel franchise fatigue

because it just made 145 million dollars across the U.S. during its opening weekend.

The film, which had a budget of 200 million surpassed the 2014 opening weekend for the

first Guardians and it can now boast being the 17th biggest domestic opening of all time.

Disney chief Dave Hollis said,

"It's a reflection of how consistent Marvel has been—their $11 billion worth of success—and

how they can take chances like this.

It's not a franchise that is quote unquote safe or normal as other movie franchises.

The challenge here was taking things that moviegoers loved from the first and making

it bigger."

Of course having some bankable hollywood stars on their roster helped.

The list includes Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper,

just to name a few.

But I'm convinced it was the the addition of baby groot that got people in the seats

for opening weekend.

Insiders predicted opening weekend figures of $140 million, which the film surpassed

and the numbers will likely only get larger as international box office figures are tallied

in the next couple of days.

As the numbers keep going up internationally and domestically a third installment is pretty

much inevitable, especially since writer/director James Gunn already hinted he's working on

the next film.

Presently, it would appear that Trump is really pushing ahead with this, and Schumer is enraged

about it.

The ninth Circuit Court has been manhandling their forces since President Trump took office.

They obstructed his flawlessly sacred travel ban, and now he's reasoning of blocking

them.

Whenever inquired as to whether President Trump has ever considered separating the ninth

circuit court, he said "absolutely."

"Absolutely, I have.

There are many people that want to break up the 9th Circuit.

It's outrageous.

Everybody immediately runs to the 9th Circuit.

And we have a big country.

We have lots of other locations.

But they immediately run to the 9th Circuit.

Because they know that's like, semi-automatic, "explained President Trump.

"You see judge shopping, or what's gone on with these people, they immediately run

to the 9th Circuit.

It's got close to an 80 percent reversal period, and what's going on in the 9th Circuit

is a shame, "said President Trump.

Ted Cruz also offered his support for breaking up the 9th circuit.

"The 9th Circuit is the largest federal court of appeals.

I think many of the Western states are weighted down by California.

California has a ton of very liberal, left-wing judges that they put on the 9th Circuit.

I think a lot of the other Western states would love to be freed from that corrosive

left-wing influence, "said Cruz.

When Chuck Schumer saw President Trump's comments he immediately panicked and rushed

to twitter.

"" Absolutely "not."

Wrote Schumer.

Apparently that's the best he could come up with.

Probably because he knows he is powerless.

President Trump has been calling Elizabeth Warren 'Pocahontas' for a long time now.

He does this to point out how she has lied and made her way through life with 'minority-status'

by claiming that she is a Native American when in reality she is not.

Liberals are now trying to call President Trump a 'racist' for using the term.

"Trump calling Warren Pocahontas is racist.

We kind of gloss over it at this point.

But this is the president being racist, wrote Sam Stein, senior editor of politics at the

Huffington Post, on Twitter.

Many commenters agreed.

"A sitting president of the US making blatantly racist comments…again.

He's a f'ing disgrace to our great nation.

A truly sick f**k," wrote one.

However as many users pointed out, if she is not actually a Native American, it is not

racist.

Even CNN is willing to admit that Elizabeth Warren is lying about this.

CNN's Jake Tapper wrote about the issue on twitter.

"Native American friend of mine on Trump calling her "Pocahontas": "It is a slur

for sure and broadly stereotyping Indigenous people."

Also, he says, "a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, I know they did a formal review and

she is not a Cherokee citizen," wrote Jake Tapper.
