3 Helpful Tips For Speed Drummers by Derek Roddy - Drum Lesson - Duration: 6:13.

- Hi I'm Derek Roddy.

Okay, listen guys,

any drummers that are interested

in doing this type of playing,

there's a couple of tips

that are essential, I believe,

to being able to do this,

physically being able to do this.

The first thing, is hydration, water.

Not beer, not sodas, water.

You know it falls from the sky for a reason.

It's the life blood of everything

and it lubricates us in a way that

will allow us to be able to do this type of thing

without blowing a gasket.

(laughs)

So really think about that.

Hydrate yourself when you try to do this stuff.

The second thing,

breathing.

Okay, most people whether it's drumming

or you're in construction,

or you're hammering nails all day.

Most people when we do some that is strenuous,

will hold our breath.

I watch guys all the time, pick up a box,

(inhale)

(grunts)

it's not what you want to do

when you're doing this kind of physical activity.

So breathing is something that

I feel that's very very important

because if you don't have oxygen in your blood,

you're gonna cramp.

Another tip that I like to give is

just simply being aware.

If you're aware of a problem, you can fix it, right?

And a lot of these things that I'm mentioning now

are just things that just go unnoticed.

So what I would do is,

I write them on my snare drum,

breathe, sit up.

That's an important thing,

because I see a lot of guys doing this.

You don't wanna have any back problems.

Sit up,

drink water,

these are all very very important things that just, again,

if you're not consciously thinking about them,

they just kind of float away in the wind.

So especially in a live situation

when you got everything else you're thinking about

and it's just helpful to be able to put yourself

into a place of,

actually listening to yourself play the drums

as opposed to actually playing them.

And that's like another little tip that I give myself a lot

is I tend to like to play as if

I'm already hearing back the recorded drums.

That helps me as far as balancing out my tones,

my tom volume from my snare volume from my kick volume,

cymbal volume, all that type of stuff,

and again, just being aware of this stuff,

helps 100 times forward.

Now breathing, how do I get better at breathing?

Very simple.

In four bars, out four bars.

In, two, three, four, out, two, three, four.

In, two, three, four, out, two, three, four.

(drums)

Now, this transfers to this type of thing

blasting very easily, right?

(drums)

Right?

Very simple, again, very overlooked.

Okay so balance is another big key factor

in being able to do this, because,

you know, double bass,

guys that don't play double bass,

their left leg typically becomes a human kickstand

on the hi-hat,

and then we got all this going on,

and you're anchored to the ground, right?

The reason I feel balance is important

is when you're doing double bass

or you're doing any of this kind of blasting or anything is

one foot goes up, the other comes down,

one up, one down, one up, one down.

You're constantly shifting your weight, right?

So if that's the case doing this,

that means that you need a strong core.

You need to be able to center yourself on the seat

and not have to rely on your legs at all to balance.

So here's an exercise.

Sitting on your drum throne,

take your sticks, put your hands in front,

and just, without leaning back,

right, what you want to do is just pick your feet up.

Now this is very very hard to do.

Now you can see I'm leaning back a little bit,

so what you want to do over time,

let me tighten up this throne too, that helps,

you don't want to be moving all around.

Okay so.

Without leaning back too far,

pick your feet up like three inches off the ground.

Now if you do feel like you have to lean back

like I'm doing now,

eventually when your core gets stronger,

you'll be able to

man, this is hard.

This is harder than playing these dang things.

But it really helps with your development

and you don't want to pull your feet under.

See how my feet are wanting to come under now?

You want to keep your feet like,

parallel out.

Man that's hard.

But that's another really good thing

to develop this solid foundation on your throne,

which is absolutely crucial

to being able to do this stuff.

Okay now with this section I guess, you know,

drummers kind of expect exercises.

Again, these are just things that are overlooked

that I feel that if you don't have this stuff together,

exercises aren't gonna matter.

You know, you can do exercises til you're blue in the face.

If you go on stage and you're holding your breath

and you're not breathing,

you're never gonna be able to get through this.

And again,

if you want to learn more about the blastbeat stuff,

you want to get into the exercises,

I have a whole course here at Drumeo.

Head over to drumeo.com and check them out.

How Logic Fights for Equality on 'Everybody' - Duration: 2:36.

Logic has a new album out, and a new mission.

In his first-ever Complex cover story, the Maryland rapper speaks at length about his

new album 'Everybody,' which highlights the importance of society finding a middle

ground and moving away from the negativity associated with being "different."

"When I started creating this album two years ago, it was before my other album was

even out.

I was writing, and it just so happened to be that a lot of the subject matter I'm

discussing on this album, which is the fight for equality of every man, woman, and child

regardless of race, religion, color, creed, and sexual orientation—because I believe

that we are born equal, but we are not treated equally.

But Logic's music is fundamentally positive and focused on the future.

And for the rapper, that means believing a fair and just society is possible.

"I'm just here to say, 'Just be a good person, and really respect others.'

I'm proud to be bi-racial, and there's a lot of people that say things like, 'I

don't see color,' and I completely understand that, but I think different is beautiful,

but I think our difference shouldn't separate us, and for me in this era, in this time,

in everything that we're going through my whole thing is just about unity man."

Logic's message of equality is the central theme of his new album, 'Everybody,' where

race issues in America come in full focus.

On many of the songs, Logic speaks about his own experiences, like on the title track. It

also comes up on the uplifting "Black SpiderMan."

Logic takes a more aggressive approach on "Take It Back," where he fights for his

own identity.

This includes moments where others have made assumptions about him based on his complexion,

even in hip-hop.

The album-ending track "AfricAryaN" offers a narrative on biracial identity in America,

and his journey to navigate life.

In all these instances, Logic opens himself up for scrutiny, but with purpose.

'Everybody' is far and away Logic's most personal album yet.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of impact Logic's 'Everybody' will make,

but one thing's for sure: he has a glass half-full mentality for humanity.

"I just hope everybody can just get along in the future.

That's what I hope, that'd be amazing."

That's the news for now, but for all the latest on Logic, subscribe to Complex News

on YouTube.

Like watching paint dry? | CBC's first ever TV broadcast | Canada 150 | 22 Minutes - Duration: 2:38.

A defining moment in Canadian history was

the first television broadcast by the CBC in 1952.

Now, the CBC debuted with its station ID accidentally

upside down and backwards,

but for the first time in history,

Canadians could see their own stories broadcast on television

and then choose to watch American ones instead.

Since then, the CBC has given you countless memories, some good,

some not so good.

Let's have a look back at that first broadcast featuring a young Lorne Greene.

Good evening, I'm Lorne Greene and this

is the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on television.

As you can see, the studio is not quite ready yet.

Let's have a chat with this hardworking Canadian to get his reaction.

Good evening.

Oh, hey.

I'm sorry to interrupt but I was wondering if you might have a moment

to give us your thoughts on the miracle of television?

Uh, yeah, I guess I just gotta wait for this coat to dry before I put on the next coat,

so, sure.

So, this paint is drying now?

Yeah.

For those of you at home watching on a black and white set,

this is a coat of white paint.

Um, sir, I think they already know that cause

it's only one of two colours that they can see, so...

The other, being black.

Yeah.

Jack, can you get a shot of this paint?

How would you describe this paint?

Wet.

And how would you describe to the viewer at home

exactly what it is they are seeing right now?

I guess they're watching paint dry.

Through the wonder of television!

Watching paint dry was Canada's first decorating show

and was also the top-rated program right up until

Canadians got a second channel.

As for Lorne Greene, he was the first Canadian actor to find success in the United States.

And, inevitably he was the first Canadian star to come back to Canada for work

once his career in the states dried up.

He would not be the last.

Inside Education | Episode 1722 Clip: What's New for Lunch? - Duration: 3:28.

Twenty potential new school lunch menu items

like pulled pork nachos and black bean burgers,

and 200 hungry and very honest students:

The CCSD Food Service Department

wanted feedback on new menu concepts

for the next school year, and they got it.

Inside Education's Kathy Topp has more

on this first-of-its-kind taste test,

also known as the Menu Concept Expo. Kathy?

(Kathy Topp) Mitch, high school and middle school students

from 10 different schools around the valley

were invited to sample what could be

new menus items for next school year.

Every student was given a scorecard like this one

asking them to rate not only the taste

but the appearance of an entree

and then answer the very important question:

Would you buy this for lunch?

(Rahim) We're seeing what we like and what we don't like.

If we don't like it, we're putting

what they could add to it to make it better.

This may look like a smorgasboard of samples,

but what's happening here is more like a science--

the science of what sells.

(ShaunTavia) I liked the enchiladas; they were really good,

and I really like the one with the green sauce.

The pork nachos are different

from what I would eat but it was really good,

and the shredded turkey chipotle wrap was good.

District Food Service leaders are putting

20 new entrees to the test quite literally

going straight to the source, the students,

for opinions on what should

and should not make the cut and why.

(Lory Hayon) We want a better forecast of what they'll eat

so we don't bring in products they don't like,

so we wanted to get their opinions first.

What was your favorite thing that you tested?

(Rahim) I think it had to be the veggie egg rolls.

Why did you like that one?

-It has a lot of flavor to it and it has lots of things

that I like, the wrap and all the veggies.

I'm a veggie dude.

What was your least favorite?

-There was a tuna wrap, and it has a type of sauce

that I just wasn't feeling it.

Barbecue pork on a pretzel bun,

penne pasta with meatballs,

sweet potato fries,

shredded turkey salad with raspberry vinaigrette--

not what some may think of as a typical hot lunch.

(Karen) It's super different because usually the lunch we have

is chicken nuggets and French fries.

(Paola) I tried the sriracha honey chicken

with yakisoba noodles.

I think the chicken looked good,

and it tasted pretty good too.

I gave it a 10,

and yes, I would buy it for lunch.

There's a lot riding on this taste test

as these students' thoughts will have a direct impact

on what makes the menu next school year.

That's the way we want it to be

because what I like may not be what they like.

While there were some clear food favorites,

one thing was certain:

The idea of a taste test itself scored high.

I think it's a great idea because the parents,

sometimes kids see the food and they don't eat it.

Kids are really picky with their food.

So overall, what do you give this experience?

-I give it a 10.

All of the potential new menu items

of course meet the federal nutrition guidelines,

and a big shout-out to the culinary students at East CTA

who helped prepare all the samples

for the students to taste.

Leaders in the Food Service Department

will be going through all that student feedback,

and we'll keep you posted on what items make the cut.

Mitch? -Kathy, thank you.

to go to untappd to get them so let's go

ahead and pour so if we look at the

bottle for a date I do see this is

bottled on a 2.16.2017 so it is fresh so

if we look at the head it is off-white I

would almost say a pinkish head small

medium bubbles about 2 fingers of head

if we look at the color it's almost a

strong yellow it is very clear few

bubbles it is a filtered beer I can see

completely through it let's go ahead and

get a smell on up front I I'm smelling

some tropical but it's not you know

overpowered I'm smelling some biscuit in

there I almost want to say alcohol like

some tropical biscuit alcohol in there

that's about all I'm getting let's go

ahead and get a taste

some sourness tartness up front and then

that's like it is gone there's no

bitterness in there nothing lingers it's

saying there's Kiwi juice in there but i

I've never had Kiwi juice I've had a

Kiwi but not the juice but yeah the

tartness sourness up front then it's

gone pretty good beer I probably have to

go with a four out of five on this one a

good summer day the alcohol level is

kind of high to me for this kind of a

beer but I could see drinking these

throughout the summer by the pool but

yeah the it's if you're into beers like

this this is a good one it's not going

to leave an aftertaste the bitterness

isn't there so yeah that will wrap up

'Go Red For Women' luncheon to raise awareness of women's heart disease in Oklahoma - Duration: 6:02.

.

LET'S GO OVER TO ABBY.

ABIGAIL: A STAGGERING PERCENTAGE

SHARE.

90% OF ALL WOMEN HAVE AT LEAST

ONE RISK FACTOR FOR HEART

DISEASE OR STROKE.

SO THIS THURSDAY MAY 11 HUNDREDS

OF WOMEN AND MEN WILL WEAR

BRIGHT RED ATTIRE FOR THE

AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION'S

OKLAHOMA CITY GO RED FOR WOMEN

LUNCHEON.

JOINING US NOW, GAIL HUNERYAGER

WITH THE GO RED FOR WOMEN

LUNCHEON, AND DOCTOR ZEESHAN

KAHN, AN INTERVENTIONAL

CARDIOLOGIST.

THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH FOR BEING

WITH US.

SUCH AN IMPORTANT EVENT.

DR. KAHN, I WANT TO START WITH

YOU.

HOW BIG OF A PROBLEM IS HEART

DISEASE IN OKLAHOMA FOR WOMEN?

>> HEART DISEASE IS THE LEADING

CAUSE OF DEATH IN WOMEN, NOT

ONLY IN OKLAHOMA BUT THE UNITED

STATES.

ONE IN THREE WOMEN DIE OF HEART

DISEASE OR CARDIOVASCULAR

DISEASE EVERY YEAR.

THAT IS LIKE ONE WOMAN DYING

EVERY MINUTE WITH HEART DISEASE.

ABIGAIL: SHOCKING NUMBERS, WE

HAVE SOME SATISTICS WE CAN PUT

ON THE SCREEN.

ONE IN THREE WOMEN WILL DIE FROM

THIS, IT KILLS ONE WOMAN ABOUT

EVERY 80 SECONDS.

GAIL, I HAVE BEEN TO THIS

LUNCHEON BEFORE.

KOCO HAS TEAMED UP BEFORE, IT IS

A LOT OF FUN, BUT THERE IS SUCH

A STRONG MISSION.

WHAT ARE YOU HOPING TO

ACCOMPLISH WITH THIS UPCOMING

LUNCHEON?

>> WE WANTED TO BE A FUN EVENT,

OBVIOUSLY.

WOMEN ENJOY NETWORKING WITH

OTHER BUSINESS WOMEN, FRIENDS,

OTHER PEOPLE THAT THEY HAVE

PASSIONS ABOUT.

PRIMARILY, WE WANT TO GET THE

WORD OUT ABOUT THE STATISTICS

BECAUSE IT IS REALLY SHOCKING

WHEN YOU LEARN ABOUT IT.

I HAVE A HISTORY OF HEART

DISEASE IN MY FAMILY.

I HAVE HAD THREE SCARES MYSELF.

I DID NOT REALIZE THE DEGREE,

THE RISK LEVEL I WAS AT.

WHEN I WAS ASKED TO GET

INVOLVED, IT SEEMED LIKE A GOOD

FIT.

WHAT WE HOPE TO GET OUT OF THE

OVEN IS SOME EDUCATION, SOME FUN

ASPECTS, BUSINESS NETWORKING FOR

OUR WOMEN.

WE HAVE A THEME THIS YEAR CALLED

REDUCATION.

WE HAVE THE LITTLE RED DRESS

THAT EVERYONE HAS COME TO KNOW.

WE CUSTOMIZE IT A LITTLE MORE.

REDUCATION IS OUR THEME AND THAT

IS WHAT WE ARE FOCUSING ON,

GETTING WOMEN INFORMED ABOUT NOT

ONLY THEIR RISK FACTORS BUT ALSO

WAYS TO DECREASE STRESS, HOW TO

MANAGE THE REALITIES OF NORMAL

LIFE, GETTING INTERNET TO SIZE

PROGRAM.

WE ARE REALLY EXCITED THAT OUR

KEYNOTE SPEAKER IS ANDY YORK

FROM OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY.

HE WILL BE TALKING ABOUT HOW TO

FORM GOOD HABITS AND GET RID OF

BAD HABITS, WHICH IS TOUGH TO

DO.

ABIGAIL: ALL ABOUT LIFESTYLE

CHANGES.

HAVE WE MADE ANY STRIDES?

IT SEEMS EVERY YEAR WE TALK

ABOUT THE STATS AND THEY SEEM TO

STAY THE SAME, ONE IN THREE

WOMEN, EVERY 80 SECONDS, THE

NUMBER ONE KILLER OF WOMEN.

AND WE MADE ANY STRIDES WHEN IT

COMES TO HEART DISEASE?

>> WE HAVE BEEN MAKING PROGRESS

AND IT'S IMPORTANT, FROM THE

PATIENT POINT OF VIEW, TO HAVE

AN EYE ON YOUR RISK FACTORS.

MODIFICATIONS OF THOSE RISK

FACTORS CAN BE TO PREVENTION OF

HEART DISEASE.

THERE ARE SOME RISK FACTORS YOU

CANNOT MODIFY, LIKE FAMILY

HISTORY, OR YOUR GENDER, BUT

THERE ARE SOME RISK FACTORS, IF

YOU START WORKING ON THEM FROM

AN EARLIER AGE, THERE IS A HIGH

CHANCE YOU CAN PREVENT HEART

DISEASE LIKE BLOOD PRESSURE,

CHOLESTEROL, BLOOD SUGAR, YOUR

WEIGHT, HAVING AN ACTIVE

LIFESTYLE.

ABIGAIL: ANY MORNING'S I

SOMEBODY WHO IS AT HOME WATCHING

THIS THINKING THERE IS NO WAY I

COULD BE AT RISK FOR HEART

DISEASE?

MAYBE YOU HAVE FAMILY HISTORY OR

SOMETHING THAT COULD BE

SURPRISING FOR SOMEONE.

OBVIOUSLY IF YOU HAVE HIGH BLOOD

PRESSURE OR CHOLESTEROL, THAT

WILL IMPACT YOUR HEART, BUT MAY

BE A FACTOR THAT MAY NOT BE SO

OBVIOUS TO SOMEBODY WATCHING?

IMPORTANT FACTORS LIKE FAMILY

HISTORY, BUT YOU MAY HAVE HIGH

BLOOD PRESSURE, HIGH

CHOLESTEROL, BUT YOU NEVER GOT

IT CHECKED.

YOU MAY BE CARRYING THOSE RISK

FACTORS BUT YOU MAY NOT BE

AWARE.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO SEEK MEDICAL

ATTENTION OR FOLLOW-UP WITH YOUR

DOCTOR STARTING AT AN EARLY AGE

SO THAT THESE RISK FACTORS CAN

BE IDENTIFIED AT AN EARLY AGE

AND THEN MODIFIED WHICH CAN

REALLY TO A REDUCTION.

>> THERE IS A PERCEPTION THAT

THIS IS JUST FOR WOMEN OVER 50.

THE REALITY IS, HEART ATTACKS,

ANY KIND OF HEART DISEASE, YOU

WOULD BE SHOCKED ABOUT HOW YOUNG

THIS CAN AFFECT WOMEN.

ONE OF OUR MISSIONS THIS YEAR IS

, SOME OF THE COMPONENTS OF THE

OVEN WE BROUGHT IN, WE WANT TO

MAKE SURE WE ARE ATTRACTING AN

AUDIENCE OF YOUNGER WOMEN WHO

REALIZE EARLIER ON THIS IS

SOMETHING THEY NEED TO BE ON TOP

OF.

WE HAVE OUR SURVIVOR STORY THIS

YEAR, A FAIRLY YOUNG WOMAN WHO

HAD VERY LITTLE INDICATIONS OF A

PROBLEM AND THEN HAD A MAJOR

PROBLEM.

ABIGAIL: WHEN YOU HAVE NO IDEA,

A SILENT KILLER SNEAKING UP ON

YOU.

WE HAVE THE EVENT DETAILS ON THE

SCREEN COMING UP THIS THURSDAY.

SPONSORSHIPS, TICKETS STILL

AVAILABLE.

EVENTS GOING ON ALL DAY FROM

9:00 UNTIL 1:00.

THANK YOU BOTH FOR BEING WITH

US.

THE NUMBER ONE KILLER OF WOMEN.

WE KNOW OKLAHOMA IS ONE OF THE

STATES THAT IS ONE OF THE WORST

FOR HEART DISEASE.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING WITH

US.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO THE EVENT.

It's called Supercarver and it was sent to me by TomTop store.

It's called Supercarver and it was sent to me by TomTop store.

The link to the device will be in the description

and you will also could find there a link for our store.

and you will also could find there a link for our store.

Let's start with how the device works.

Let's start with how the device works.

The device consists of a metal frame,

buttons wich control laser and the platform.

You can fix everything you need,

using convenient rubber bands.

On the side wall there is a fan and at the top

as on the moving element is located the laser.

At this stage, attentive people have already guessed

of several drawbacks of this device.

This is a limitation in the amount of engraving.

Yes, since our skeleton consists of 4 vertical racks,

no matter how you will try to make engraving on a large object.

If it does not bend or change its shape,

then you can't engrave on it.

This design is supplied with the software

on a flash drive and laser, which you must attach yourself.

This is not difficult at all and in the suite

there is a special little screwdriver for this.

The kit also includes special glasses for laser protection,

instructions, a power supply with an adapter, a wire for connecting to a computer,

as well as several sheets of thick cardboard and planks,

that you could test the device.

that you could test the device.

The laser is most likely not attached directly to the case

for more convenient and safe transportation

and has a power of 1000mW and it is not designed

for engraving on metal and I checked it myself,

trying to make engraving on my athlon CPU,

as you can see there is nothing on it.

However, as for heavy paper, cardboard, plastic,

leather and other similar materials, then the device

does not have any problems with them.

And immediately about the software.

It goes in a bundle on a flashcard and is quite functional for such a device.

It goes in a bundle on a flashcard and is quite functional for such a device.

In addition to the top line of the menu

with options for file selection, re-download and settings,

there are very interesting features.

Firstly, on the left, we have an actual log

of actions that was made in this session, in which both the instruments

that we used and the laser coordinates are shown.

Below is information about the status of the device.

Below is information about the status of the device.

In the main menu, we have buttons to undo the last action,

zoom in and out, rotate, clean the workspace and inverse.

zoom in and out, rotate, clean the workspace and inverse.

Also there is a possibility to draw additional lines with a pencil,

use an eraser or add text.

Then there are two buttons for selecting the number

of passes and the button of the sight, with which you can determine

where this or that part of the image is

and where the engraving will be done.

In the center is the working area, in which we can simply

add any image by dragging and the process control block of the engraving.

add any image by dragging and the process control block of the engraving.

The first button shows the area on which

the engraving will be held, so that you can visually determine whether

the object is correctly located.

The second button puts the laser in the place

where the center of the engraving area will be located.

Below is navigation for controlling the position

of the laser or platform and with their help you can change

the location of the area in which the engraving will be performed.

the location of the area in which the engraving will be performed.

Then there is the pause button,

and it is necessary, since every 25 minutes the device must be turned off

in order to avoid overheating.

The button below starts the engraving process again.

In the center of the screen in the workspace,

you can observe at what stage the process is now.

And the lowest slider sets the time that the laser

is at the point before the offset.

That is, in fact, the time of burning one point.

Accordingly, for a deeper burning out on dense surfaces,

this time can be increased and, for thin articles,

it can be lowered.

Now I'll show you some examples of how the device works.

Now I'll show you some examples of how the device works.

As you can see, a lot depends on the surface

and the correct settings.

Somewhere the engraving goes well and looks

very nice and somewhere because of the melting,

things like this happen with this card reader

But here you need to know that this is the problem of the material

and not the laser, since it does its job properly.

Therefore, before you want to engrave an object,

ideally you should calibrate the device on a similar material

to achieve the most successful result.

to achieve the most successful result.

In general, here is an interesting device,

which you can certainly find use if you put a little imagination.

The only two drawbacks are that you can not put

a large object in the work area and

you can not do metal engraving, but at a cost of 85$,

it would be strange to demand some madness from him.

it would be strange to demand some madness from him.

And now a small insert.

The fact is that the first device that came to me for review

let me down and I had to wait for a new sample.

That's because after a week of testing

right at the time of making this video, the device ceased to be detected

and the laser stopped working.

Since I had no time to understand the problem,

I gave it to the diagnostics.

It turned out that one of the microcircuits was out of order on the motherboard.

It turned out that one of the microcircuits was out of order on the motherboard.

Caused this could be either a sudden disconnection of the facility during operation

(which is unacceptable by the instruction) or by a strong voltage drop.

(which is unacceptable by the instruction) or by a strong voltage drop.

After searching for information on the device,

it turned out that no one else had encountered this problem.

The new device that came to me as a replacement had new software

and works quite well and most likely it was a single defective device.

and works quite well and most likely it was a single defective device.

However, try not to overload the device, let him rest,

read the instructions and do not subject to sudden voltage drops.

read the instructions and do not subject to sudden voltage drops.

In any case, I hope that the release was interesting,

especially since I did not see detailed issues

on this device with a full description.

So I hope that it will not only be interesting but also useful.

So I hope that it will not only be interesting but also useful.

Now I need to come to a lot of interesting material because in the near future

I hope to add a lot in terms of the frequency of output of videos.

Kman's Annual BBQ and Party Invite June 10th, 2017 Wisconsin Dells, WI - Duration: 7:57.

come one come all k mans annual barbecue

is coming up in one month this year we

will be holding it on June 10th sets the

Saturday

I might have posted other places earlier

saying June 3rd disregard that I had to

cancel it and move it

the following week to June 10th 2017

Saturday because I will be attending the

Tesla private factory tour and model 3

event coming up on June 2nd part of the

referral program so me Chalet and our

friends Amy and Jerry will be attending

and I hope hopefully I'll be able to get

some video of that whole nother subject

I'll have more information on that

coming anyways June 10th what we will be

doing first we start out the morning

with a meet-up if you have a Tesla or a

electric vehicle was long enough range

so the Leafs might have a little trouble

making this but we will start with a

meet-up at the Boston Wisconsin

supercharger there are 10 no they're not

the six super charging stalls and that

was also the first supercharger in

Wisconsin it's located in the parking

lot of a colors restaurant delicious

food it's like a like a Wendy's or

McDonald's or Burger King only a

thousand times higher quality and the

last time I spoke with the manager they

there they said hey if you're doing an

event give us a call maybe we can throw

out some free food or ice cream your way

cool so I'm going to call them and work

out some details with the manager

hopefully we'll get some free food at

the colors while we're super charging in

the initial meet-and-greet after the

supercharger meetup and that's just a

knock out a majority of everybody's

needed charging that that will require

it we will be doing a backcountry drive

to the Riverside and great northern

Historical Preservation Society and

railway that rail way for those that are

unaware has a 15 inch gauge locomotive

track and yours truly will be driving

the Train and

we'll be taking our own little private

train ride through the forest

I'll be about a half hour to 45 minute

ride there will be no charge for the

ride ticket prices are usually $12 a

person it will be a private train ride

for us if you can donate we are very

accepting of donations to the railway so

if you can throw some money into the the

donation donation box it will be very

much appreciated helps keep the railway

in operation after our very fun kind of

forest train ride we will be taking

another little cruise through Wisconsin

Dells the Midwest's largest tour city to

the sand drift resort where we will be

kicking off our BBQ

of course hamburgers hot dogs I have

some very limited beer because I don't

want this to turn into a drunk fest but

we will have some beer some soda tea

there's also going to be you know you

know if you potluck if you guys want to

bring something that we won't have oh

yeah beans I'll have beans bring it just

let me know give me a heads up and then

of course at the Sandra's resort we'll

have they have row boats paddle boats

canoes we'll have a campfire going a

sandy beach volleyball ping pong play

structure for kids that's all that you

guys can use any of that you want and

for those that want you can stay

overnight although you will have to pay

for your room obviously

so give San drift resort a call the

website is sand drift resort comm si n

DRI ft resort comm 608 2 5 3 4 4 1 1 so

if you want to stay overnight give them

a call and reserve they only have 15 or

16 units so space will fill up quick on

top of that if you decide to stay

overnight on Sunday morning we'll

probably all go to its Paul Bunyan cook

shanty with which off with

all-you-can-eat families

style breakfast eggs sausage pancakes

you know all the good stuff your coffees

included and they have doughnuts that

are better than Krispy Kreme yes believe

it or not so we will be heading there on

Sunday morning for those that want to

stay overnight and if it's weather

permitting we might be able to take a

pontoon boat out and that night 2cv

Tommy Bartlett water-ski show on

Saturday night limited seating is

available weather permitting it so it's

a it's a maybe we'll try if we can there

is a there high power wall stations at

80 amp if needed if you're not driving a

Tesla we have plenty of 120 volt outlets

and extension cords available and a

limited number of actual 240 cords at

that will fit a 1430 and I'll have an

adapter if you don't have a 1430 plug

for your non Tesla I also have a 1450 to

1430 adapter that does the actual plugs

as well as a standard 20 amp 240 outlet

so if you have a leaf a roadster a 3

Mitsubishi I no problem if you can make

it to the Dells charge you up there are

no J 1770 tools in the Dells or within a

reasonable driving distance so if you

can chat a mo Chou in Madison get as

full as you can and then hop the freeway

over to us if you're driving anything

about a long-range or a range-extended

evey chances are you're going to want to

stay overnight to regenerate your

battery any questions let me know and if

you know for a fact you're going to

attend please RSVP me and if you're

going to RSVP me please I ask that you

actually show up we had 30 more RSVPs

last year that did not show up so I had

enough food for maybe a hundred or

little more than a hundred people and we

only had 20 or 30 people I mean that's

kind of rude so if you can RSVP and

actually come great if you RSVP in some

reason you can't make it please try and

let me know the day ahead of time or

sooner so I can plan accordingly so on

and so on and so on thank you and I hope

to see everybody more details will be in

the description box below and I also

have a link to sand drift on there and

please if you have questions ask me oh

and we'll do a live stream roundtable

kind of kind of discussion that night

that afternoon as well I'm hoping just

to get everybody around and a lot of

people like picking my brain on pretty

much all things Tesla and I'm hoping to

even have the laptop set up we tried it

last year was a little dark what we did

we had fun doing the livestream but this

year I'll have the laptop set up and I'm

hoping to also get actual questions from

people viewing that is it

you
